Hunter approached Eda tentatively.
He had run into her at the small and slightly crowded morning market, for he was up bright and early to help buy some groceries for Perry, Gilbert and Harvey.
Eda turned around with a smile, grabbing a little basket to begin her own shopping. She didn’t have her usual lie-in, instead she was a little worried about Luz and wanting to gather some food items to make food for her later.
“That’s him, blondie.”
With a friendly grin, she leaned a little forward and lowered her voice so as to not draw attention, “How’re you holding up, by the way? You okay?”
