A full color print without outlines! I like it, it's relaxed feeling. The flowers on the original scan were almost completely faded, I thought I was gonna go blind trying to trace them XD
Part of my ongoing digital restoration of the Kaishien Gaden/Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting, a 400 year old book on Chinese ink painting that was later adapted by and added to by the Japanese. It's one of the earliest examples we have of mass produced color printing, and as such, lends itself perfectly to vector.

My mom pointed out that I need some form of exfoliation when showering at this point. And like, I know that, but the problem is that the solution she offered does not work for me. Showers already take a huge chunk of my time- at least an hour for each one, if not a little over- and the method she suggested would only take even longer. What I need is something that scrubs as I clean; I'd like a nice brush for that purpose, but I don't have enough for that at the moment.
#my comms are always open but like. either everybody is broke or nobody wants anything from me specifically#which it could be the lack of proper examples ig?? but I'd have more examples if more people paid me to draw...#bc like. drawing for myself has gotten unreasonably hard lately#especially since my brain panics a little at the lack of substantial reward for doing as much#actually I'd be a hell of a lot more productive if I had access to a steady supply of decent drawing paper + a scanner#maybe some nice inking pens too; lines are a lot easier on paper than on computer#tho I might be able to fix that one day; I need to start watching some inkscape tutorials I reckon#bc the smoothest lines are ofc vector. but they're also so very fiddly and obnoxious...
