Random fic idea:

In the 1890s teenage Ciel falls in love with human Sebastian, who is a part of the Phantomhive's kitchen staff. Given the time period Vincent is less than happy when he finds about his son's love affair with another man. Especially with a servant.

So, Vincent does what any reasonable person would do... he sells Sebastian off to a cult.

The cult that buys Sebastian has been trying to find eternal life, using the powers of Hell. In the process trying to find the cure to death they turn Sebastian into a demon.

After this Sebastian has to relearn how to be human... and how to love. At the same time he must learn how to accept his changes, and his new life as a demon.

the funniest part about this post to me is that in my town there actually WAS a wells fargo that got sold and converted into a coffee shop not too long ago. all the bank architecture is still there with all the pillars and vaulted cielings and chandeliers and shit and all they did was add an ill fitting little gentrified looking coffee bar right smack dab in the middle of it. ive never ordered coffee there but i need to go there sometime and show you guys cause its so INCONGRUOUS

Fate/Grand Order New Years 2025 Servant Prediction!

I've gotten this right exactly once, and that year was really obvious.

ANYWAY. I feel there's only one real option, unless we get tossed a curveball.

Richard the Lionheart. After Samurai Remnant's Saber was the NY Servant last year, leading into the Samurai Remnant event, this feels plausible. A new Strange Fake episode is airing on New Year's Eve, the anime is coming out soon, it'd be a good time to tie those together (leading into a Strange Fake collab event while we're at it. welfare... ayaka?)

We still have one Ordeal Call Servant yet to be introduced, but I doubt we'll get her until her actual chapter, whenever that is. Seriously, I wonder what it's going to look like? Are we getting a Foreigner Ordeal Call? Ruler? Eh?

I wonder about Beni-Enma Alter. She's been in the vault awhile, and the original Beni-Enma was a New Years servant. Who knows? Very curious.

Despite the Surprise Tsukihime Christmas Event, I don't think we're getting a Type-Moon character for New Years. Shiki reads "welfare servant" to me, and... well, I don't know we'll get a Tsukihime event until the next VN drops? Ciel and Arc have been too integrated into mainline FGO events for that. We've had a very Type Moon OC heavy year, between the Sakurafaces and TypeMoon VNs. Some historical characters would be nice.

It is not going to be Camazotz. It'd be nice if Camazotz shows up, but if he does I think it'd be White Day. But I kinda... doubt he will.

Ch204 (p2), Bodies and souls

The head matron drops that bomb from ch203 that Theo is to fledge next.

I'm a bit confused why they mention Nick, except that he would be the next candidate for real Ciel, if Theo wasn't there. I was worried for a moment there that they had already fledged Nick without us even knowing about it. However, they talk about Ginny in past tense and Nick in present tense, so he must still be there.

Gosh, this young Black lady here. I hope she turns against the orphanage, because I can tell she feels deeply that this is not acceptable. Partly, she is asking because she doesn't know everything that the head matron has already been told, or perhaps she has forgotten what she was already told. Either way, she still wonders why it has to be like this.

The head matron uses the same terms Blavat used at Sphere Music Hall: radiance, stars. However, "aptitude" has been added. She acts like it's these "stars" themselves who "possess technologies way more advanced" that theirs, as if they are from some advanced alien civilization.

It's odd for her to talk about not just their bodies but also specifically their souls. Someone has told her that their souls need to be as similar to the souls of the "stars", too, not just a match in their bodies. This reminds me of what was told (probably by Undertaker) to Chris Heathfield, and that the baron repeated to Jane.

So, I'm definitely not giving up my theory that Undertaker is experimenting with soul transplants, too, not just blood transfusions and organ transplants. To him, a soul is basically an organ, anyway, right? It could be that the best way for them to match their souls is by assessing their aptitudes. It's not just the blood typing, it's the combination of blood type and aptitude test results. And then reinforcing the similarities. She even has the nerve to call this a "clinical trial".

But Susan doesn't care too much about the details, as she hopes to use her high earnings to leave soon and open her own business, some sort of shop. I wonder where the money is coming from to keep paying such high wages, since we saw those money-donating renal patients die, but it could be coming from the hotel resort in Brighton....

Susan goes to the cold vault to get blood for Doll, and we see they have also been storing blood for the other lords of the stars. Though it's possible they don't currently have any for Sirius, which would help explain why a Pomeranian like Theo would be next.

Now this is interesting. "Things are taking longer this time"... compared to what? Last time Doll needed blood? Or something else about Doll's condition? What, exactly, is taking longer this time? 🤔

Weird Dead By Daylight x Kuroshitsuji Idea: The Butler

Can you imagine how effed up would be for the Entity to take Ciel and Sebastian into the Fog and for it to keep Ciel trapped? Then Sebastian has to fulfill the role of Killer to save his master.

New Killer: The Butler

The Butler, Sebastian Michaelis, is a tall killer with an above average terror radius (40 Meters), he deals swiftly with pests and troublemakers alike.

At the start of every match you play as The Butler you will hear "This is an order, Sebastian, kill them." from his master, Ciel Phantomhive.

Killer Power:

Devil's Aesthetic & Butler Aesthetic: The Butler can change between 2 modes, Devil and Butler.

He starts every match in his Butler Mode and takes 15 seconds for him to gain access to Devil Mode. After exiting Devil Aesthetic Mode you cannot access it again for 15 seconds, picking up a survivor takes you out of Devil Aesthetic Mode but hooking a survivor instantly recharges it.

Devil Mode: In this mode Sebastian's eyes glow red and survivors can see a red glow coming from his relative direction.

You gain 5% Haste and a 10% Interaction speed. (Vaulting, breaking, etc.)

Your lunge attacks have a slightly shorter range.

In this mode Sebastian's arm turns into a blade, walking into a dropped pallet breaks it as Sebastian slashes right through it, suffering a slight movement penalty.

Butler Mode: Decreases Sebastian's Terror Radius by 50%. You can hold M2 to charge a knife-attack.

If you tap M1 you can throw one knife after another with high-precision, hitting a survivor 3 times with knives deals 1 health state of damage to them.

If you hold M1 you can charge a fan-shaped attack of knives but this slows you considerably, any survivor caught in the flurry of knives thrown will suffer 1 health state of damage.

Sebastian's form is that of a more normal human in this mode and attacking with M1 has him simply slash with his hand.

Killer Perks:

One Hell of a Butler: You take your job seriously and can't stand to see chaos and disorder.

You gain different effects depending on the amount of generators left until the doors are powered.

ODD Number: You recover from stuns 50% faster. EVEN Number: You vault 30% faster. 0 Gens: Gain both effects + a 10% Haste for the rest of the match.

So this is just a reworked Fire Up lmao.

Noble Beast: Unlike your brethren, you've got manners and are quite the "humane" demon, but don't let these sweet falsehoods deceive you.

As long as your obsession is alive Generators in a 30 meters radius around you regress passively at a 1/4 of the normal rate.

When in chase with your obsession this perk is deactivated.

When in chase with any survivor who isn't your obsession the radius becomes 40 meters and the regression rate becomes 1/2 of the normal rate.

Hex: Faustian Contract: Creating a contract with a devil is a simple process, one must simply sacrifice those they hold dear for power unimaginable. But... You will seal your fate as well as that of those who cross your path.

This Hex activates once you injure your obsession for the first time and only the obsession can destroy the hex totem created by this perk.

As long as this Hex stays active every other survivor except your obsession suffers from the blindness status effect.

Any generator that has been interacted with by your obsession this match will be blocked by the entity once it reaches 80+% of their progress for 10 seconds.

As long as this Hex stays active your obsession cannot escape the trial by any means and you can kill your obsession by your own hands once the gates are powered.

Identity V should have a collab with Black Butler, the vibes fit so well..

Ciel as a survivor would likely have a skin of a character that focuses most on decoding, a character that doesn't have very high rescue or evade abilities. Sebastian, on the other hand, would either be purely a hunter or a survivor that focuses on containing/attacking the hunter.

But also... consider them as one of the hunters that feature two characters. You start as Ciel, but you can activate a mode to play as Sebastian for a limited period of time to chase down survivors. Ciel's body either accompanies Sebastian or is left vulnerable to stun attacks. Or maybe it's one of hunters with transformation abilities. You remain Ciel, but Sebastian sort of covers him like a second skin or even carries him around on his arm like he does in canon.

On their own, as a survivor, Ciel would likely be The Mind's Eye due to her use of a cane and fragile nature making object vaulting slower.

Mey-Rin would be the Coordinator without a doubt. I could see Baldroy as the Barmaid, though the drinks she makes are instead various foods he's fudged up. Though, I could also see him being the Forward, the Aeroplanist, or the Prospector. Finnian could be the Mercenary? Not too sure about him.

As a survivor, Sebastian would either be the Grave Digger or the Entomologist, with both respective abilities emulating his wispy true form without a physical appearance instead of digging underground or controlling a swarm of bugs. As a hunter, he'd be the Ripper maybe? His knives that he carries around with him would replace the Ripper's massive claw. Or maybe the Feaster, where his true form replaces the tentacles and such.

You know, I've been doing a little thinking, and I honestly just don't find the whole Team Magma/Aqua thing all that fun anymore :(

It's really drained me as of late, and restricting myself just pains me on a spiritual level....

So @ciel-of-vault-111 , I'm calling it a truce. It was fun, be we both know this wouldn't last forever.
