Weird Dead By Daylight x Kuroshitsuji Idea: The Butler
Can you imagine how effed up would be for the Entity to take Ciel and Sebastian into the Fog and for it to keep Ciel trapped? Then Sebastian has to fulfill the role of Killer to save his master.
New Killer: The Butler
The Butler, Sebastian Michaelis, is a tall killer with an above average terror radius (40 Meters), he deals swiftly with pests and troublemakers alike.
At the start of every match you play as The Butler you will hear "This is an order, Sebastian, kill them." from his master, Ciel Phantomhive.
Killer Power:
Devil's Aesthetic & Butler Aesthetic: The Butler can change between 2 modes, Devil and Butler.
He starts every match in his Butler Mode and takes 15 seconds for him to gain access to Devil Mode. After exiting Devil Aesthetic Mode you cannot access it again for 15 seconds, picking up a survivor takes you out of Devil Aesthetic Mode but hooking a survivor instantly recharges it.
Devil Mode: In this mode Sebastian's eyes glow red and survivors can see a red glow coming from his relative direction.
You gain 5% Haste and a 10% Interaction speed. (Vaulting, breaking, etc.)
Your lunge attacks have a slightly shorter range.
In this mode Sebastian's arm turns into a blade, walking into a dropped pallet breaks it as Sebastian slashes right through it, suffering a slight movement penalty.
Butler Mode: Decreases Sebastian's Terror Radius by 50%. You can hold M2 to charge a knife-attack.
If you tap M1 you can throw one knife after another with high-precision, hitting a survivor 3 times with knives deals 1 health state of damage to them.
If you hold M1 you can charge a fan-shaped attack of knives but this slows you considerably, any survivor caught in the flurry of knives thrown will suffer 1 health state of damage.
Sebastian's form is that of a more normal human in this mode and attacking with M1 has him simply slash with his hand.
Killer Perks:
One Hell of a Butler: You take your job seriously and can't stand to see chaos and disorder.
You gain different effects depending on the amount of generators left until the doors are powered.
ODD Number: You recover from stuns 50% faster. EVEN Number: You vault 30% faster. 0 Gens: Gain both effects + a 10% Haste for the rest of the match.
So this is just a reworked Fire Up lmao.
Noble Beast: Unlike your brethren, you've got manners and are quite the "humane" demon, but don't let these sweet falsehoods deceive you.
As long as your obsession is alive Generators in a 30 meters radius around you regress passively at a 1/4 of the normal rate.
When in chase with your obsession this perk is deactivated.
When in chase with any survivor who isn't your obsession the radius becomes 40 meters and the regression rate becomes 1/2 of the normal rate.
Hex: Faustian Contract: Creating a contract with a devil is a simple process, one must simply sacrifice those they hold dear for power unimaginable. But... You will seal your fate as well as that of those who cross your path.
This Hex activates once you injure your obsession for the first time and only the obsession can destroy the hex totem created by this perk.
As long as this Hex stays active every other survivor except your obsession suffers from the blindness status effect.
Any generator that has been interacted with by your obsession this match will be blocked by the entity once it reaches 80+% of their progress for 10 seconds.
As long as this Hex stays active your obsession cannot escape the trial by any means and you can kill your obsession by your own hands once the gates are powered.
How far will this starved demon go to save his tastiest meal yet? Find out this 2025 in the new Aristocrats of Evil chapter!
Is this the only khansamah that the fog has taken? Or perhaps.... There's somebody out there willing to push through the mist and darkness to return to his master too? From the role of a survivor, perhaps?
#black butler#kuroshitsuji#dead by daylight#fan concept#fan chapter#just insane ramblings#god I mean we already had Attack on Titan#Black Butler is technically a horror manga too.#imagine Sebastian in 3D lmao#I want Doll to also be a survivor goddammit but she can be a legendary skin for Sarina.#ciel phantomhive#ciel phantomhive skin for Dwight when lmao

The Circus Arc
Last week somebody asked me what my favourite manga arc is, and without a second of hesitation I answered šŖ. As I have already publically declared my love, it is only natural for me to write a love letter to the Circus Arc.
Why do I consider the Circus Arc the best still after more than a decade?
I. The true story
First of all, the Circus Arc is in my opinion the first arc wherein we truly get to meet the characters, as well as the series itself.
A protagonist who is dispensable in their own story is not a true protagonist. As touched upon in this post, before the Circus Arc O!Ciel was actually little more than a plot device to show off Sebastianās many assets. āThe Watchdog has a case because the Queen said so, Sebastian solves it.ā āThe Watchdog was kidnapped because Yana TOLD us he made life for the mafia a bit hard, so Sebastian saves him.ā When Sebas said to his master āyou truly have no other talent except for getting yourself abducted,ā it sure rang very true until that point. It wasnāt as much a story of O!Cielās revenge as it was Sebas saving the day because: demon powers.
In the Circus Arc however, we truly got an insight on why this little boy could indeed have made life for the mafia hard, and why after two years the Queen still hasnāt fired him. As discussed in the post mentioned before, almost as a compensation for his prior starfishhood, O!Ciel had insisted on doing the investigation himself, even at the cost of his own health. We saw him actively cooking up strategies as well as dealing with any situation as they were met. O!Ciel really displayed a commendable aptness at playing the cards he has been dealt in the Circus Arc. In contrast, while Sebas did make many accomplishments, all his actions were the undertaken because of O!Cielās orders. In the Circus Arc we truly got to see how the boy is the chess player, and demon the black knight.
II. Our protagonists - into the core
The Circus Arc is likewise the arc wherein we actually get to meet our two main characters outside their token function.
We have seen Sebastianās establishment as āthe pawn that can move across the entire chessboard in one single moveā. But without O!Cielās input or any price that the master would have to pay, Sebastian is easily just an āinstant-win cardā, an ironic ādeusā ex machina, if you will.
As discussed in this post and this post, in the Jack the Ripper Arc Sebastian was quite dissatisfied with his master and therefore decided to teach his master a lesson at the cost of more innocent lives. However nasty, it had been O!Ciel who ordered for a subpar move, and technically the pawn ādid nothing wrong.ā
In the Circus Arc O!Ciel became meticulous about decisions regarding his chess piece. Principally there was nothing wrong with the order O!Ciel had given his butler about releasing the snakes before the first stringers would return, and Sebas who was bound to perfect completion of any order also didnāt do anything wrong, technically. However, it had already been established that as long as Sebas sees the interest himself he would find any loophole in orders to still benefit his master in one way or another. As it is, considering how Sebas did decide to release the poisonous snakes while his master was in the danger zone, we are left with a chilling conclusion that Sebas simply ādid not see the interestā of shielding O!Ciel from danger. For the first time we truly learn the extent of Sebastianās nondiscriminatory nastiness; how indeed all humans are the same to him. For the first time we truly understand that O!Ciel is paying with much more than his soul for Sebastianās services. This demon is a double-edged sword, but much more than swinging outwards, this sword has a tendency to swing inwards the moment the wielder allows for any opening.
Previously discussed in this post, we also see the full extent of Sebastianās manipulativeness and toxicity in the Circus Arc. Sure, in other arcs Sebas is also manipulative, but all of those actions could still be categorised under āmerciless honestyā. In the Circus Arc however, O!Ciel objectively did nothing wrong to be triggered and exhausted from the Circus shenanigans, and yet Sebas was unnecessarily re-triggering and victim shaming his master for some extra āflavouringā. If there had been any doubt whether Sebas is bad for O!Ciel, then surely the Circus Arc put all doubts to rest.
For the first time in the manga we also see a genuine obstacle for Sebastian that is for not also the final hurdle to overcome, like in the Ripper, Curry, Campania or any other arc really. In the Manor Murder and Werewolf Arc there were of course Earl Grey and Wolfram respectively, but in those cases Sebas mostly tried to outrun the obstacles. In the Circus Arc however, William is likewise a supernatural being, and Sebas knew very well that he canāt just neutralise William without causing more trouble than good. Hence we saw how Sebas tried to negotiate with William, and we learned that even Sebastian cannot just avoid hurdles. Negotiating with William did not work of course, so the story forced Sebas to be creative. It truly was great to see Sebas use his brain rather than demon-muscles to overcome a problem for a change.
While getting ācreativeā, Sebas displayed his aptitude for preying on humans in our weakest of moments. As explained in this characterisation of Sebastian, Sebastian is not terrifying because he has super powers, but because he understands human weaknesses like no other and uses our own weaknesses against us. Click here for an analysis of Sebasā cross-media manipulation of Beast.
In this same arc we likewise truly understand the looming threat O!Ciel is dealing with, an explicit revelation of the monster Sebastian is. This scene from underneath is the most explicit moment telling us that Sebas is not just dwelling on Earth comfortably; he is holding out under a cover. This scene almost served as an alarming reminder to us: ābeware, the demon can snapā.
What about O!Ciel? In our boy we saw his tremendous dedication to his job. Except for purposes directly related to the investigation, never once did he order Sebastian to make life easier for him. He never made Sebas secure food for him or do any of the chores for him. Surely Earl Phantomhive would consider himself above wrestling for food or scrub some floors, and yet he was willing to just take on any task without complaining. In no other arc do we see just how effective O!Ciel is as the Watchdog exactly because he is so versatile both in playing the ācute little boyā card as well as the āfeared Watchdogā card.
Doll was an exceptionally well chosen āobstacleā for O!Ciel (more about her later). When Doll briefly wondered about why a peasant boy like Smile would speak in flawless RP, we saw O!Cielās ability of thinking on his feet, giving a very logical explanation of: āI served in a Lordās household where I learned to speak proper.ā When Doll caught him red handed when he sneaked into Snakeās tent O!Ciel also immediately pulled the āI didnāt steal anything!ā card, skillfully tying it into his previous story as āthe page boy who was fired for stealingā. We learned that the Watchdog really is willing to carry out his job through any means necessary, not just āthe cool and edgy meansā.
One of the best ways to get to learn a person is judging from their gut reactions. When O!Ciel was triggered in the final showdown he no longer had any energy to put on a strong front or think about matters rationally. He was in emotional pain and his gut reaction was to want that pain gone.
Even Sebastian who would not directly benefit from the case being completed advised his master against burning down everything. Even with the Queenās commission as leverage however, the boy still yelled to have everything reduced to ashes. In this moment we also understood just how traumatising everything was to O!Ciel personally. This trauma response didnāt come from nowhere; everything that happened up until that point had been a logical build-up towards this inevitable result.
III. The Side Characters
A story cannot be told with just the main characters; you need to care about the interactions they have with others too. In my opinion the Circus Arc has delivered the most memorable side characters that linger with us even after death. In particular Joker and Doll.
Joker is a very fun, charismatic character as well as a person with many different sides. He is lawfully inexcusable, but we cannot help but sympathise, or at least understand how he too is a victim compelled into evil. Rationally we reject Jokerās actions, but partially it is because we have the luxury to do so. āIs this self defense? Would we, or how would we have done anything differently had we been in his exact shoes?ā is a question worth considering.
Doll too; we see a child who lived a relatively happy life in the recent past. In the anime they made it explicit that Doll was complicit in all the kidnappings of the children, but in the manga it is more ambiguous whether Doll is fully aware of Kelvinās agenda. This gives the effect that with the revelation of Joker always having taken most of the bullets, we understand that the torment Joker has been suffering was the price he paid to buy his siblings a more-or-less normal life. If O!Ciel sold his soul to the devil in the literate sense, Joker did so in the figurative sense in exchange for his familyās happiness.
IV. The Antagonists?
We do not spend too much time with Baron Kelvin, and he is a relatively simple character. But that is not bad as long as the villainās threat reaches us. The horrors of Kelvin have always been quite clear; when children are harmed it triggers a gut reaction of disgust in most viewers. But the kidnapped children were not the functional victims in this story, it is the first stringers with Joker in the centre.
Kelvin has made a bunch of crippled children fully dependent on him, and used their own dependency as a currency to satisfy his own greed. Never once did he allow these children to forget how he could easily return them to the gutter from where he collected them. The kidnapped children were just numbers in the newspaper, but the first stringers are characters we spent time with. We have seen their suffering and we know they are just trying to get by. So it is all the more heartbreaking that children who merely wanted their basic human rights were turned into the antagonists that had to be exterminated. In the showdown between Joker vs Watchdog, the dynamic is shifted from āheroes vs child-kidnapping villainsā to āvillain-protagonists vs anti-villainsā.
The Circus Arc is very special in how the villain impacts the readers, because the people affected matter to us. In the earliest arcs we didnāt REALLY care about O!Ciel, but he was the main person who suffered from the villains. With Sebastian around however, we donāt really worry. In the Ripper, Mansion, Campania and Potter Arc the main victims are characters we donāt spend any time with, so emotionally we donāt really care whetherĀ āevil gets vanquishedā. In the Werewolf Arc we do have Sieglinde and Wolfram, and it is heartbreaking to see Sieglinde discovering that all her happiness had been a big lie and that to even her own mother she was nothing but a tool. But in the very least she did grow up happily, she survived and has a fresh chance to start a new life, and the person closest to her (Wolfram) is still with her.
For the first stringers however... all had been meaningless, all is finite.
As expertly described by Sebas in the musical adaptation of the Circus Arc, humans are pathetic because we are merely āaccumulating sins in the version of hell [we] have chosen to live.ā
V. From foil to team members
The servants at the Phantomhive manor were originally just designed to be foil for Sebas to demonstrate his awesome butler skills. I donāt know whether they were liked at first, but for one I do know that many found them quite annoying or pointless too.
The Circus Arc is the first time we see the significance of the Phantomhive servants, that theyāre not just there waiting to be fed by O!Ciel because... heās a philanthropist of some sort? Yana had made some questionable decisions at first, and she clearly regretted those āchoicesā. I personally see the Circus Arc as her first demonstration of her skills as story writer, and her public proclamation of: āthis is Kuroshitsujiās potential!ā
Had the entire series started with the Circus Arc, then surely the animated series would have gotten a much higher budget and a better time-slot for airing.
VI. Humour
The humour in the Circus Arc is also great, but nothing was shoehorned in there for the sake of laughs, neither do these moments disturb the tone of the story.
Everything was funny because they were the inevitable consequences of putting these people together. William had been established as a demon-racist plank, and when made to cooperate with a demon, of course he would say:Ā āmy hands will rotā. When calledĀ āfour-eyesā, of course he would say:Ā āitās SUITā.
Many of the comedic moments are centred around our protagonistsā inconveniences, but nobody is inconveniencing them for the sake of inconveniencing them. When Sebastian was not trying to leave the vicinity William mostly let him at peace. O!Ciel for example also couldnāt do many things simply because Doll was clinging to him. But she did not know what was at stake and her actions were well grounded in her immense desire to make new friends. āYou are young, I am young. You lost an eye, I lost an eye. Letās be FRIENDS!ā
This is in stark contrast with how āfunny inconveniencesā were staged before using Lizzie or Grell for example. Lizzie was a drag to O!Ciel because... sheās a girl who wanted everything to go HER way... and Grell was a drag to Sebas because she... is a girl who wanted everything to go HER way.
VII. Ending
The ending of the Circus Arc also carried a bitter-sweet tone that most other arcs do not present. The thematic of ādemons dwell in the human nature of stepping on othersā is perfectly addressed in the Circus Arc, but it does not end with: āso donāt be evil!ā. The Circus Arc simply highlights the issue and reminds us that āstepping on othersā does not exist in a vacuum.
Had the objective of the series not been established as āboy who swore on revengeā, and instead be: "rethinking evilā, then the Circus Arc alone would have told the story sufficiently.
The finale of the Circus Arc resonates with its audience because the core principle on which Kuroshitsuji is built is a narrative humankind has always wanted to externalise, but without success: ādemons are only as evil as humans allow their own evil to showā.

Animes Will Solace would watch for @napping-nico (also everyone forgive me if I say something stupid I've seen like 4 anime in my lifetime lol)
- Black Butler (he's a Sebastian simp but he's never read the manga; he liked the goth girl in the circus too)
- Tokyo Ghoul (idk much about it but blood and demons seem cool...)
- Death Note (he read the manga first; L was probably his favorite)
- I feel like everyone's watched Attack on Titan so probably that (2 guys dating? Levi? Giants? Idk)
- Your Lie in April (he watched it thinking it was a happy romance... It was his introduction into anime)
- GIVEN (one of his lighter watches, he eventually convinced Nico to watch it with him, it wasn't Nico's introduction into Anime; Mitchell can be thanked for that- but it was the first anime Nico had interest in/enjoyed so Will technically wins)
- The Promised Neverland (it's on Netflix... It's dark right?)
- He watched Yuuri on Ice when it was trending (it wasn't personally his thing but he did understand why it was so popular)
- Assassination Classroom (there's like a curse on the school and people get murdered?)
- No. 6 (idk anything about it but 2 guys fall in love during the apocalypse or after so Will would probably like it)
- That one anime that's called like "pick him not I" or something? (He seen a picture of the one character- the enby one??- in a screenshot somewhere and was like "I have to watch this")
Like I said I don't know much about anime, so if anyone has any ideas I'm happy to listen! I think Will is the type of person who enjoys the horror genre especially psychological thrillers, and as awful as it is to say I think he would be fairly desensitized to any sort of gore.. (Ya know, surgeon and all)
I personally think of Nico as the one who likes happy endings and fluffy feel good kind of stuff; I think they're both comfortable and happy with the other persons enjoyment in media (Nico also likes horror; Will also likes fluffy stuff) but they tend to have their own personal enjoyments that are seperate.
They agree when it comes to watching like SVU, Dateline, The Witcher, Umbrella Academy, Stranger Things, etc... All of those are darker but Nico likes them for the information aspect or the way they still have lighter moments... If Nico's picking and they're watching TV together it's probably a documentary, a children's movie/cartoon (Ghibli, Disney, Pixar), or maybe like a culinary show (Nico doesn't really care to watch tv he like the background noise of it).

a list of every anime i love/recommend, accumulated over the last 10+ years
1. NATSUME YUUJINCHOUĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
The main character is a teenage boy named Natsume, whose parents died when he was too young to remember them properly. Heās passed around random relatives homes, but because he can see yokai (spirits), heās ostracized by classmates and his foster families (ALL HIS CHILDHOOD FLASHBACKS ARE SO FUCKING SAD) and eventually very distant relatives (an older couple who never had kids of their own and have so much goddamn love to give D:!!!) take Natsume in, and the story basically starts from there.Ā
Itās a very heart-warming story following Natsumeās new life in this new town, accepting his ability to see yokai, forging new relationships in the form of friends and family, and even with the yokai themselves.Ā
This is honestly probably my favorite anime/manga period, because itās so sad but so cathartic and you watch as the main character grows and learns to trust those around him, and finally gets the unconditional love heās always deserved, not to MENTION THE FACT THAT THEY DO A WHOLE EP WHERE NATSUME IS TURNED BACK INTO A LITTLE KID AND IT IS SOOOO GOOD OMG
Plus for those of you who enjoy whump, this show has a decent amount of it. Mainly emotional whump, but also some episodes where Natsume is injured or sick--as well as I believe one where his companion (the chubby cat on his shoulder whoās actually a pretty badass yokai) gets shot with an arrow and is down for the count.Ā
10/10 would and have watched again.Ā
2. KODOCHA NO OMOCHAĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā The main character is a sixth grader named Sana. Sheās a gifted actress on a t.v. show everyone likes and sheās silly and fun, very intuitive and surprisingly empathetic for a child.Ā
Her main problem is in school, where Akito, who she deems the leader of her classā wolf pack of rowdy rude boys, lets them terrorize not just the teacher, but all the girls in class, as well.Ā
I donāt really want to give a lot away, so Iāll just state the obvious. This anime/manga is shoujo, which means that it does focus on a romantic relationship throughout the series. Mainly the one between Sana and Akito. Sana is absolutely oblivious about her own feelings, while Akito is a stubborn little shit.Ā
I remember watching this at like, age 12 maybe? And I really enjoyed it because (although I do enjoy your typical silly doesnāt take itself too seriously slice of life shoujo) this particular anime, while super funny and light hearted at times, was also really dramatic and even kinda dark, which was surprising considering the characters ages and the general kid-friendly vibe (especially the opening for the anime).Ā
3. DETECTIVE CONAN
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā Our main character is initially Shinichi Kudo, teenage detective, whoās on a date with childhood sweetheart Ran (whose father also happens to a detective but like....not a good one lmao), when his nosy ass self decides to go and check out some shady business and getsĀ āpoisonedā.Ā
The poison heās given is intended to kill him, but what it actually does is turn him back into a child. And now, as Conan Edogawa, (whoās 7 but like....we just supposed to believe all these cops and detectives on the force are cool with a seven year old wee lil babe on these really gruesome ass crime scenes??? lmaoooo) we follow him on his adventures as he solves crimes and tries to solve the biggest mystery of all, his own!Ā
I absolutely LOVE this anime/manga, even though Iāll be honest, there is SO MUCH FILLER, but I like the characters enough that I really donāt mind. The show is at least 900+ episodes in at this point, and there are a total of 26 movies so far, last time I checked.Ā
Also, the show is a whump fangirlsā dream come true. The main character is thrown out of windows, balconies, shot at, and in one occasion actually shot, heās had broken bones, sprains, almost been blown up or drowned/burned, been sick, and oh, his occasional transformations from child to teenager are incredibly painful.Ā
This show is probably at fault for my love of whump, since it was one of my first animes at like, age 9. smh.Ā
4. THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER!
REVIEW:
Iām not even going to summarize this one. The title does it for me. This is truly one of the funniest animes Iāve ever seen. Motherfuckin Satan works at a McDonalds part time and it is the BEST.Ā
Technically I would count this show as a kind of harem, but only because there are like three main girl characters after the overlord Satan himself. I usually dislike harem type animes but the way this is done is sooooo good I couldnāt resist.Ā
I would watch a million filler episodes of Satan trying to solve problems at his minimum wage job tbh. I love every single character, I love the plot, I love everything about this anime! In terms of comedy (with the occasional plot driven serious moments) this is IT bro.Ā
5. BLACK BUTLER
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
The main character is Ciel Phantomhive (roughly 14 years old). His parents are killed, his house is burned to ashes, and heās kidnapped (around age 9 or 10 I believe) and abused. During this abuse Ciel calls upon a demon to free him and help him get revenge on those who harmed the Phantomhive household, which is where Sebastian, oneĀ āhell of a good butlerā comes in.Ā
We then follow Ciel and Sebastian on their path of vengeance, and along the way we meet Cielās human servants, three very clumsy and seemingly bad at their given tasks characters (i love them all), and some of his extended relatives and connections.Ā
My favorite thing about Black Butler is the art, both in the anime and manga. Everything is so detailed and pretty!Ā
The characters are interesting, the plot is dark but they manage to make most of the series overall pretty light-hearted and funny in general. Though of course there are chapters/parts of the series that get really grim (which duh, the whole thing focuses on revenge so...)Ā
I have to say, the arc I enjoyed the most has to be the movie, Black Butler: Book Of the Atlantic. It is beautifully drawn and sooooooo entertaining.Ā
6. INUYASHAĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
Our main characters are Inuyasha, a half-demon, whoās been in a sort of spiritually binding coma for the last few decades, and fourteen year old Kagome, who falls into an old well in her familyās shrine and finds herself being transported into another time period.Ā
Together, she and Inuyasha travel across the lands in the feudal era to find the scattered shards of the shikon jewel, a powerful jewel which grants anyone who possesses it ultimate power.Ā
I was too young to stay up and watch Inuyasha on adult swim, so my mom would tape the show on a VCR for me to watch the next day after school--yes, Iām old old. lmaoooo I ADORE this show.Ā
Itās so good! Itās got everything! A tortured lil half-demon with a sad past whoās stubborn and rude but got a good heart! A fierce and equally as stubborn main protagonist, whoās whole ass family knows exactly where she goes off to??? and are supportive af????? like???? her mama packs her and her squad of demon/exorcist/demon hunter pals bentos?!?! lmao i love it.Ā
The characters are awesome and funny and likable as all heck, and of course they all have their sad backstory, but like, unlike some animes (lookin at YOU Naruto) they donāt go mega overboard on it, at least not without some plot behind the episode.Ā
7. YU YU HAKUSHOĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
Before I even start in on the summary, yaāll should watch this soley bc of the cute ass 90ā²s style animation alone. LOOK AT ALL THAT SHINY HAIR!
ANYWAY. Main character is teenage hooligan and overall cutie pie Yusuke! He gets struck by a car and fucking DIES in the first episode after shoving a little boy out of the way, only to end up in the spirit world where the head honcho up there (who looks like a wee baby) tells himĀ āOh shit, didnāt expect you to like, actually do anything self-sacrificing EVER so like, youāre not on our list of people who were supposed to die today...āĀ
And uh, I donāt wanna give anything away, so Iām just gonna say that if you havenāt seen this anime yet, you definitely should! Itās hilarious and dramatic, the fight scenes are very well done, all the side characters, who eventually become main characters are a blessing (specifically Hiei, whoāve Iāve had a crush on since I was 12) and the ending is a satisfying one, which you canāt really say for a lot of media.Ā
8. CHRONO CRUSADEĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
I still get weepy when I think of this anime, so all Iāll say is itās about a badass demon slaying nurse and her demon companion and some very tragic shit.Ā
Itās a great anime overall, especially if you like crying yourself to sleep at night :)Ā
9. GHOST HUNT
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
The main character is high school student Mai, who is hired by Naru, the head of a Shibuya psychic research, and together, with a group of questionable exorcists/psychics, they encounter paranormal phenomenons and some outright scary shit.Ā
Iām not really a fan of the horror genre tbh but I do like mystery, and the series deals with that quite a bit. They deal with each case for several episodes so nothing feels too rushed.Ā
The series is really fun in a creepy, wtf is that way. I recommend the manga, only because itās more detailed in terms of plot than the anime.Ā
10. ASSASSINATION CLASSROOMĀ
SUMMARY/REVIEW:Ā
I didnāt really make this list in any particular order but if I had to say, Assassination Classroom and Natsume Yuujinchou probably tie for BEST ANIME PERIOD!Ā
This anime is about a weird assĀ āalienā creature, no one knows where it came from or why tf itās here on earth, all they know is that in one year itās threatened to blow the world up.Ā
His only request to the government is that they let him become a teacher for Class E, the worst class ofĀ Kunugigaoka Junior High School, and he will stay put, so that they can attempt an assassination on him during this one year period.Ā
AND LISTEN! I am a shallow hoe, so I literally never would have read this manga or watched the series had I not been roaming Barnes and Noble one day with my S.O. and picked it up to read as a JOKE!Ā
I was hooked after the first chapter and I am soooooooo glad I picked this manga up, bc it is absolutely not the type I would normally go for, cover art wise. I finally, after many many years, learned not to judge a book by its cover bc LORD this anime is so goddamn good, you donāt understand! Like, Iāve watched it so many times and still laugh at the same parts, cry at the same parts, am proud af at the same parts! like, this anime is an instant classic and should definitely be more popular than it is.Ā
assassination classroom and natsume yuujinchou????? MASTERPIECES!Ā
#anime i can't imagine life without#natsume yuujinchou#assassination classroom#inuyasha#black butler#detective conan#whump#chrono crusade#ghost hunt#yu yu hakusho#the devil is a part-timer#kodocha#long post is long

Last song you listened to: Technicallyā¦the ED to season two of Boku no Hero Academia. Before that, that one Ed Sheeran song thatās been playing everywhere. But the last song Iāve actually listened to, for the sake of listening to music, instead of just hearing it casually at the end of a show or overhearing it played somewhereā¦ Haikyuu!! OST. As in, the song from the Haikyuu!! OST that is titled Haikyuu.
Last movie you watched: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. My sister and I went to Universal Studios the other day and we spent like 4 hours in Harry Potter world so we were planning a Harry Potter marathonā¦unfortunately an entire day of walking around is not conducive to sitting through roughly 16 or more hours of movie watching so we only got to the second movie, haha.
