I've been a fan of Undertale since the beginning of this game and an old fan of Harry Potter Silvertale it's just a mix of both of these fanfoms I have a request for you write your own story about Silvertale about Chans you can add characters from other fanfoms like original characters from other games or movie, anime, e.g. Naruto, Shinahiku, Boruto, but not Harry Potter characters, even Barbie movie characters, you can add if you want and want, but the story must be about Chara and Sansa, Frisk is Malfoy, Chara is Granger, Asriel is Ząbini, Betty Nori is Parkinson, Papyrus is Weasley, Rosa is Lovegood, Sans is a Potter, there is Chans, Friskiel, several mixed ships.

There are some ships that just grab me and refuse to let go. I'm sure that everyone has had a least one of those moments, when a random pairing draws you toward it and you can't stop it. Right now, the ships that have taken up semi-permanent residence in my brain are Yamato/Hiyori, Kid/Camie, Lucci/Kalifa, Conis/Wyper, Smoker/Tashigi, Shanks/Makino, Koby/Shirahoshi, and Mihawk/Perona. Others that are just sneaking in occasionally include Kid/Nami, Rosinante/Bellemere, and Reiju/Katakuri. I can't see all the similarities beyond that 95% of the time, it's opposites attract.

From the Inside by Las. 2.5K. Dean/Alastair. Post-Hell PTSD fic. Dark, obviously, but in a fairly restrained way imo.

Via Negationis by anactoria. 60K. Sam/Lucifer. The author used to ship a more fluffy version of Sam/Lucifer before the s11 revelations made that untenable. This is her attempt at reconciling the Lucifer we saw from s7 going forward with the one she saw in s5. Quite good, but heed the tags obviously.

Okay, so it's not really a secret that I don't read Destiel, that it's not my jam, but I am trying to put together a rec list for someone and I kinda can't have it all Wincest. I want to include a few Destiel (and other) fics BUT I am trying to keep this list centered on the canon universe so I don't want any AUs. I want this to be a sort of easing in point to fan fiction for people who've never really read fan fiction, so I want to keep it as close to canon as I can. If there is anyone left following me who has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, any other pairings too. I just don't want to hand over a rec list that's like all Wincest because then they'll know! LOL

So: any pairings, any ratings, any tropes, canon universe only, and what you consider to be the best of the best

the backlash against langdonmel does fascinate me i must admit. it shines such a light on various biases that people have when shipping a white guy with someone. like the bar actually has to be so high for women to be considered "shippable" with the leading dude. there are so many pairings that have obvious chemistry that people HATE and its like...okay do you just hate this ship bcos your White Boy of the Week is being shipped with a a woman and not a Man? a woman you perceive to be less attractive than him? (this next one isn't relevant to kingdon but this whole topic does make me think of it) a woman of color? and now, wrt kingdon, a woman who is Not Neurotypical? like at this point i think you guys Just Don't Like Women

so a few weeks ago i went to a local scandinavian fair/market (i live in the northeastern part of the usa, so not a Huge population of scandinavian immigrants/ancestry. a pretty small but really nice gathering!), and there was someone there selling imported Finnish candy. i thought of you talking about salmiakki and asked if she was selling any, which apparently she was, but sold out pretty fast! i still bought a bag of assorted Finnish candies that she had put together herself, and i really liked them! however... one day i will try salmiakki, I've got it in my mind now.

Ooo that's so cool! It feels really strange to think of Finnish candy being sold as rare imported goods on the other side of the world, but that's how it goes, of course. Where I come from, some common American brands are still exotic and rarely stocked by stores, I remember coming across Reese's cups in person for the first time just a couple of years ago and going "OH I've heard of those!!"

Salmiakki is a powerful and unique flavor, and as a finn it genuinely brings me such glee that you remembered me mentioning it once and were curious enough to try to give it a taste! Sorry they were sold out. I hope you'll get your hands on some sooner or later. (I personally like the hard candy varieties like turkinpippuri, oukki doukki, patruuna and dracula piller the best, but I'd say those can be on the more aggressive end so, like, brace yourself a little if that happens to be your introduction point).
