LET PEOPLE SHIP WHAT THEY WANT

Stop dumping hate on ships you don't like

There are so many great ships with Varian

Cassarian, Varipunzel, Eugerian, Varalina, Varigo and a LOT more

Let people write and draw what they want

And when you don't like it, block the tags, nothing is forcing you to look at it

Stop the toxicity

Seriously, Kay and Anna had no problem shipping 24 years old Hugo and 37 years old Pyrus, so why are age differences so hated in the Vat7k fandom?

Could you guys maybe chill for a bit.

Age-difference ships are nothing bad.

Varipunzel, Cassarian Eugerian or Varalina are just as good ships as Varigo. Maybe even better.

At least there are some sensible people in this fandom who don't spread venom and support others instead.

Like @zonerobotnik, thanks to her I first enjoyed FredericXVarian. That's an interesting ship with enjoyable dynamics.

Or @froggy-1988, with their be Varalina story.

Or Varimoon69, who first shipped Varian and Brock Thunderstrike.

They snow kindness, understanding and empathy.

Cassandra is an adult. varian is a minor. do you support pedophilia? because i can tell you right now if you go around spreading that opinion, people arent going to take it well.

Btw I did start writing a Varalina fic forever ago I am just very slow. Varians got some issues. Some parts of the story have Occam’s razor by Ferry as a mood. Probably more Varian focused then Catalina focused. Though it’s def a varalina fic. It also won’t involve the 7 kingdoms stuff

Unfortunately I'm not very into Tangled at the mo (currently being consumed by Star Wars and Tolkien). The Varalina drew was for an exchange too. I'm very partial to most ships and whenever I DO draw them they're for exchanges (or friends) hehe.

First Ship: i joined tumblr in 2017 for BoTW Zelink and all of my fandom experience spiralled from here. i started playing LoZ games before that though, maybe 2008? and there was a fanfic tab (though it wasn't called like that) on the help website i used

Some Varalina sketches I did last night

Summary:

Desiderium: an ardent desire or longing; especially: a feeling of loss or grief for something lost.

Eugene and Rapunzel's lives are turned upside down when a war breaks out between Corona and Equis. As Captain of the Guard Eugene is forced to leave his wife and daughter to fight. A tragic attack leaves Rapunzel a widow, or so she thinks.

A severely injured Eugene must fight his way back to his family.

But there is much more going on then meets the eye.

(This is a terrible summary but basically Eugene gets injured and captured and Rapunzel thinks he's dead and has to deal with that while trying to win a war. Also there's a Varalina subplot. )

I don't own Tangled. Just my OCs and the story itself.

So.. I've been working on this for forever. It's not finished quite yet but I'm getting there! This is just the prologue and I know it's short but we'll be getting real plot soon!

Chapter Text

This is the story of how I died…. Again. Really though, how many guys can say that more than once? But don't worry, this story has a "happily ever after" at the end. It just… takes a while to get there this time.

Maybe I should explain.

You see after Rapunzel and I were married things started to change. Rather quickly in fact. Within a year Rapunzel was crowned Queen of Corona. She was an amazing queen who always put her subjects first. Her parents took off on an adventure to re-find themselves as they still struggled with their memories on occasion.

For two years all was at peace. During this time, Rapunzel gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Kleisonne, her hair a beautiful dark brown, just like her mother's.

But then the peace ended. It all started when King Trevor of Equis died. Having no heir(accept a seal) his evil cousin, Regis, took the throne. Now we didn't know he was evil at first. He seemed nice enough and Rapunzel went out of her way to send her condolences and welcome the new King.

Only two months after taking the throne, Equis attacked New Old Corona. The attack nearly decimated the town, killing many. What was left of the escaped to the city and reported all that had happened. It was only a few days later that we received the official declaration of war.

Old Corona became a battleground or both sides. The battle raged on for months with no progress on either side. Then something happened that would change all of our lives forever.

on one hand I hate shipping a rare pair because I’ve written over half the tag and there’s never anything new unless I write it. On the other hand, it’s much easier to shape the ship to look how I want it to because the few people that I’m slowly recruiting all read my fics and build off that foundation
