Some of my favorite Pokemanzzz

I felt like my art has been looking really stiff and flat, so I did a deep dive on art tutorials. Cartooning, line of action, everything. And OMG I’m already improving so much I’m so excited.

My advice to you, if you ever feel like you’re stuck/not improving, take a break and go read books on what you want to improve on. Theres plenty of online books to choose from, and even if it’s in a different style from what you usually work on, it’s still worth checking out because the principles of realism, especially line of action, still apply to cartoons too.

Some books I highly recommend are “The Silver Way” by Stephen Silver, “Character Animation Crash Course” by Eric Goldberg, and “Creating Characters With Personality” by Tom Bancroft

Finally I was able to finish a new picture T_T <3 i hope you like it. its the third picture in my believix eeveelution "series" and it feels kinda nice to finish a project as I'm not actively planning to add the others. (idk how i would pair up the rest of thr fairies and eeveelutions color and element-wise😹)
