Beyond van Gogh • The Immersive Experience was phenomenal and breathtaking. 🌀⁣ ⁣ Vincent Van Gogh’s works and complex life have fascinated me since childhood. I even drew a giant portrait of him on the wall of my bedroom in high school. 🤣 ⁣ ⁣ As many of you know, my unique health dance has drastically limited my social interactions and daily routine during the pandemic. I spent over two years in isolation, minus ER trip, docs, and vet visits where I sat in the car. ⁣ ⁣ Zoom for work and writing was my social connection, Facetime with family, and thankfully a few visits in my backyard with masked friends were basically it. With things improving somewhat and my healing ❤️‍🩹 continuing to spiral up, thanks in part to a @medicalmedium lifestyle, I felt like it was time to start testing the waters. You’re talking about a woman who has still not been in a grocery store since 2/2020. 😁 Soon, though 😉⁣ ⁣ On August 11, 2022, I was finally in a position to experience this event, and I even went into a public restroom. 🤣 I had been waiting patiently for the day I could attend. The best part was sharing the experience with my Mom.⁣ ⁣ To say I was elated would be an understatement. ⁣ Everything about the day was fabulous. Please watch my IG Stories or view the highlights to see more of the actual show. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend you “Gogh” 💙⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #brandfearless #beyondvangogh #vangoghhartford #vangogh #medicalmediumlifestyle #milestone #healingdance #art #spiralup #rewriteyourstory #motherdaughter #grateful #vangoghimmersiveexperience #artlover #patience (at Van Gogh Hartford) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChQDvy9uLjT/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

These three are among my favorites that Vincent. I love that roiling sky with those billowing clouds. I’m sure the French clouds in Arles look exactly like that. The second, Irises. I stood in front of the actual painting at the other Getty Museum. I was rooted to the spot. It is so incredibly beautiful with those vivid, rich colors & all those brushstrokes. I think of that white iris standing amid the sea of purple iris, front and center as Vincent unashamedly giving the world his gifts. There he stands. Still. Forever. The last one is Starry Night & the photo doesn’t do it justice because it is a photograph of his painting put on a scrim. The colors are muted rather than vibrant & you aren’t electrified, as you would be standing in front of it. This is my favorite. Well, my second favorite. I’ll share my favorite painting with you at that end. And wasn’t even featured at the exhibit. There was a presentation you could watch about Starry Night, but it wasn’t all about the painting. I don’t fully agree. A doctor of artistic color therapy analyzed Vincent’s Starry might painting & deduced that Vincent may have been color blind. Red-green color blindness is the most common followed by blue-yellow & finally complete blindness to color. The doctor posited that color blindness was the reason Vincent painted in such bright colors. They showed Starry night as Vincent might have seen it as he was painting it. The red-green blindness & the yellow-blue blindness. I don’t agree with this theory. Vincent himself, in his letters he said that he felt yellow & blue were the most beautiful colors, bright with so many shades of them in nature. Vincent’s said that when he died, he wanted to go to his own star & be the brightest one in the sky. Perhaps he painted himself into that starry sky. Don Maclean wrote a song called Starry, Starry Night. You can hear it here: https://youtu.be/oxHnRfhDmrk Be forewarned. It will make you weep. #thechroniclesoffarmia #thingssoamazeme #magic #wonder #art #vincentvangogh #vangoghimmersiveexperience #starrynight #irises #painting #beautiful #starrystarrynight #stars #tender #ilovehim #breathtaking #one #magnificent #incredible https://www.instagram.com/p/CY71HU4rJ6k/?utm_medium=tumblr
