after: day zero 

He’s back. Ian couldn’t quite comprehend it. 

He’s back. Ian feared he was dreaming. The hospital's blue and cream walls looked like they were spinning.

He’s back. Eight days of confusion and emptiness, over. Eight days of not knowing and  what ifs. Eight days gone and a new life to deal with now. 

“He’s right here, Mr. Seo, though as we’ve said, he’s awake but unresponsive. We were told that when the police found him, he was guided to the car, but seemed unaware that he was being rescued. Physically, he’s fine, but he is not talking or moving or generally doing much more than breathing and blinking.” The nurse had told him all of this already. Before they let him anywhere near Jason, they told him about the condition Jason was in and asked if he was ready and if he understood, but Ian could only form one thought: He’s back. 

Until he saw him.

AHHHHH so excited to share the opening of my novel but mostly after with you guys.

This book has been a long time in the making and I'm finally on track to really have a first draft. I love it with my whole heart and hope everyone else does

So here's a little bit about it. The story follows fiances Jason Vandid and Ian Seo after a horribly traumatic event. We watch them attempt to put their lives back together. With moments from before and during their trauma - we mostly see after.
