Hey defan fam. I know there's at least five of us lurking on this tag that feels dead, so I need your help with something.

Tvd gave me bad enough defan brainrot that I started working on a book (yes, book, not fic, it's that serious) inspired by their dynamic. I feel like I'm on a good path to making vampire bros that are similar enough to have the feel but different enough to not be copied, but I'm struggling with the eternity of misery thing. Damon repeating to Stefan over and over how he promised him an eternity of misery, first villanrously but in the end lovingly as in you and me for eternity brother it's all I want. I want to somehow figure a line/motif that has the same sentiment but obviously it can't be the same, so any ideas about it would be appreciated!

If you need any background information one of them turned the other against their will, and then the one turned ended up killing someone very dear to them both (it's not a woman they love). So eternity of misery brother would be perfect, i just cannot use the same sentence.

Also if you have any other ideas for my not-defan-fanfic I'm happy to hear them! All five of you will receive free copies if I ever get it published lmao.
