very sad that the private dns adguard server technique never actually works on tumblr ads after the first 24 hours.... but if i use blokada my internet won't connect and blokada doesn't work that well on tumblr either, so it's like... what is the point... wish i could run extensions on the tumblr app 😔

edit: trying a patched version of the app....... so far no ads...

   ❝    neens- angel, it's fine. i promise. i get that. and if when your lease is up you'd rather renew it to stay in your apartment and we wait for mine to end or something and i can move into yours instead that's fine by me too. we'll just spend practically every night between our two apartments, and it'll be great. it's new york- rent is expensive. i'm excited to see your place. we'll live together when we get there. i'm just happy to be back together. that's more than enough for me.   ❞    now, he'd move in with her tomorrow if that was realistic, but- they have to be adults about this one more thing. it's a perfectly fine compromise to have her back in his life. it was so easy, talking like this. they never had so much time to catch up on between them, but- sharing everything they've missed comes as naturally as breathing. she's the one person he can easily give every part of himself without fear. he nods at her words.    ❝    trust me- i definitely know that feeling…    ❞     sure- he hadn't left home like she did- left salt lake city... but- his home had gone a few thousand miles away to new york. and while he knew people at school, had friends already... no one fills that same place in his life that nini does.    ❝    it really does suck being homesick for a person. especially when you want that person to be happy so much but you don't want to risk hurting your own feelings worse...    ❞    he sighs, tilting his head as he leans into her, hands resting on her arms as she wraps them around him.

she's seen every phase of his life, so she's definitely right about that. and he's very grateful she never went running out. oh growing up... what a mess. but they've always had each other through it all, and now they will again. he has so much to be grateful for. but as he realizes while he thought to get her a change of clothes, he's completely forgotten about literally everything else she might want or need after a night out... too busy enjoying being with her, he feels bad about it. her reassurance is nice though, and he can tell he's not the only one who's sort of let go of the rest of those things like their basic needs faced with this magical reunion.    ❝    okay- okay good… i think i just- completely let myself get caught up in you... in us...    ❞    he chuckles, smiling at her in the mirror as he leans his head against hers.    ❝    i'm really happy you're here too.    ❞    handing her the newly unwrapped toothbrush, ricky sadly unwraps himself from her grip to go and get the glasses from the kitchen.    ❝    i'm going to go get us both some water, baby… do you need some kind of snack or do you think you're okay until brunch?    ❞    he won't leave her yet though, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before he does.
