What would be the squad’s most recent google searches?

Oh yeah, it IS an important question ... Important enough for me to literally have made short videos about it quite a while ago. I only made them for Michi, Benno and Axel, though. I always intended to also film the ones for the girls but was too lazy oops.

(i would like to emphasize that this is not something i just came up with, like i wasn’t sitting and thinking ‘man how can i compare two trucks to anderperry’ or ‘man anderperry is literally two trucks’ this was not what happened)

obviously, this is a comical image of “masculinity” it’s got the big three: sex, muscles, and automobiles -- of course, these can also double as gender norms, and the idea that the only way that one can be masculine is to like these 3 - and that men must like these 3, causes problems such as homophobia

the perrys and the andersons both have set roles that they think hteir sons must conform to and things like poetry and theater aren’t it  poetry can be a bit of a romantic thing, which goes against this masculine idea, and of course theater is,,, well,,, theatrical

the entire song is filled with lyrics that can be connected to an idea of what is considered masculine

and as the song goes on, the trucks go from “having sex” to “making love” to “holding hands” while this could be a mockery of the american masculinity (actually it definitely is but for this its not lol) 

these trucks are things people look at and think “masculinity” but they’re falling in love with each other which is gentle and sweet and yeah

anderperry are the trucks

this song features anderperry as two people who fall in love and reject the toxic masculinity and hemophobia that is imposed on them by their parents and society

WHO ARE THE SUNS AND WHO ARE THE MOONS IN THE SQUAD!???!?!

Oh damn, damn, that's a good question. Lemme think. It probably depends on the indiviual duos within the squad, right? Except for Axel. Axel is always the sun. Babsi is more of a moon person, just like Benno, who is literally the definition of it. Michi can really be both. Stella is the sun, just like Christiane. But Christiane can also sometimes be a moon. Like I said, it always depends on the context - whom they’re with and what their own emotional state is at the moment. Everyone needs a sun in their life sometimes and sometimes you have to take that position for the people you care about. :)

Bestie, this is important. Can Axel cook?

I think he often tries cooking when he wants to be a good host for the squad. But on a regular basis he and the boys can't be bothered to make themselves anything that takes much time to make (hence we see Michi eating tuna right out of the can). Also, the heroin makes them unable to eat many things, I suppose. However, once in a while Axel probably feels like it's time they eat something nice again and actually takes the time to cook something simple for his roomies. He's not a great cook, but it's the intent that matters.

Bestie, do you have any idea of when the squad’s birthdays could be?

Not really, sorry bestie! The real Christiane F.'s birthday is May 20th, so maybe this applies for the series Christiane as well. I couldn't find out any birthdays of the other real people the series characters are based on, except for Detlef R., whose birthday seems to be May 18th (not sure if the source website can be trusted with that information). But since he's not actually Benno in the series, this doesn't have to mean much anyways.

Other than that, I remember that user @galacticf once mentioned that they were working on a post about which zodiac signs the characters could be, but I don't think they ever posted that (no pressure, though! I just thought I'd mention this as it fit into the context).

What are your most favourite scenes from wkbz?

That's very difficult to choose of course, but if I had to my top three would probably be:

- The air guitar contest. Because everyone is so happy in this scene. (I generally love all the friendship scenes of the squad.)

- Michi meeting David Bowie. Because I really like David Bowie as well and Michi is just my fav.

- When Stella is being brought home from the concert and her mother finds out what happened to her. Because in this moment I’m always so happy for Stella who really didn't expect this reaction from her.
