Speaking of hopepunk and also my never ending list of projects:
I reclaimed some leather from an old leather couch we were getting rid of this summer and I'm planning on making a leather bomber jacket with a fuchsia sherpa lining out of it. I'm planning on painting a dandelion coming out of cracks in concrete and the word "hopepunk" on the back with leather paint. I'm very excited about this. I plan on buying the paint from a local art store to support small business while I'm at it!

Fugitive Arbiter Aesthetic
"I see you found my ship." Renée said, alerting the Doctor and Jane to her position. Her accent was different, Jane noticed. She originally had a similar accent to Ruth, but now she was... American? Her voice also sounded more confident, but somewhat softer, an edge was removed from it. She was also dressed differently - gone was the casual modern day Earthen attire, replaced by a pair of brown dungarees beneath a white, long sleeved shirt, with what appeared to be a brightly coloured bomber jacket wrapped around her waist. She wore brown combat boots on her feet, black, fingerless gloves, and a pair of goggles on her head. Her hair was also tied up in a high, messy bun. "It's called a TARDIS - T, A, R, D, I, S, stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space," She explained, "One of the most powerful interdimensional spacecrafts on the planet... And it's mine." She looked at the Doctor, a smile crossing her features. A familiar smile, as Jane could almost hear a crescendo of music reaching its peak. "Hi, mum."

The Victor K.1 Flying Tanker is the subject of the Eagle Data File No. 35 from Eagle No. 53, dated 26 March 1983. The Victor was originally one of the RAF's three 'V-Bombers' (along with the Vickers Valiant and the Avro Vulcan) before being converted to other duties such as air-to-air refuelling.
The 'K' role designation is used by several air forces for tanker. I'm assuming because 'T' was already taken for 'Trainer'. Might have used K for 'Kerosene'.
The Victor retired from RAF service in 1993 outlasting both the Vulcan and Valiant. Four examples (1 x bomber and 3 x tankers) still survive today in displays around the UK but none are airworthy. Treasury of British Comics.

I'm itching to work on the old couch -> hopepunk leather jacket project but I started thinking about it and realized I Have No Idea What I Am Doing. None of the bomber jacket patterns I found satisfied me and all of them were for fabric, not leather. So I am designing it myself and *screams*
How much positive ease do I want? Do I want a plain hot pink Sherpa lining or a removable hot pink Sherpa lining and another hot pink polyester lining underneath? Do I have enough leather for a jacket with 8 inches positive ease? How am I gonna work around all the decorative seams that my machines can't sew through? I watched a video series on zippered welt pockets but is there anything extra I need to know in the context of sewing zippered welt pockets into LEATHER?
I am going to start by sketching ideas for the design. Then I gotta do So Much Math. I'll need to drag out the leather and measure it cuz it's got decorative seams all over the place and my machines probably can't handle sewing through that many layers of leather. I should maybe invest in those curved rulers that people use for drawing armscyes and whatnot. Anyway. Crying screaming shrieking overwhelmed but gonna do the thing as soon as my cat is not laying on me and purring
