Grimner, più potenti che mai

I GRIMNER tornano più potenti che mai. Questa volta hanno aggiunto il metal al folk metal. Le loro radici e le loro influenze del death metal svedese e il loro amore per l’heavy e il power metal si intrecciano con incantevoli melodie folk e cori pagani per creare ancora una volta il loro suono unico, il tutto cantato nella loro lingua madre, lo svedese, come sempre.

“Helvandrarna” (traducibile come “I camminatori dell’inferno”) è il secondo singolo dei GRIMNER, tratto dal quarto disco in studio ���Urfader”. Il suono nuovo e fresco di quest’album trasmette davvero ciò che i GRIMNER sono. Riff di chitarra incalzanti, un mix di potenti voci pulite e roche, una batteria martellante, il tutto mescolato con bellissimi e distinti flauti e altri strumenti folk, creano un’atmosfera che si adatta ai racconti degli antichi dei norreni e del folklore.

“Non abbiamo mai messo così tanto impegno nella produzione di un album in precedenza. Davvero, sangue, sudore e lacrime sono stati impiegati per rendere questo disco ciò che è diventato e siamo felici di condividerlo con il mondo. Nel bel mezzo di una pestilenza mondiale, abbiamo lavorato più duramente che mai per portare al mondo qualcosa di cui siamo estremamente orgogliosi. ‘Urfader’ ha richiesto molto da noi, e tutta l’energia e la passione che abbiamo messo in questo disco si può certamente sentire in ogni canzone.  Sono passati quasi cinque anni dalla nostra precedente uscita. Il tempo trascorso su questo album non è stato inutile. In questi ultimi anni abbiamo lavorato meticolosamente su ogni dettaglio per creare quella che consideriamo la nostra più grande raccolta di canzoni fino ad oggi ”.

L’artwork del disco è stato realizzato da Henrik Rosenborg. L’album è stato registrato e mixato da Jakob Hermann ai Top Floor Studios, mentre della masterizzazione si è occupato Jacob Hansen agli Hansen Studios.

I GRIMNER, fondati nel 2008, dimostrano che il passato, fatto di anni di silenzio e pandemie, non è stato inutile: silenzio significa lavoro. Sulla scia di una pestilenza, i GRIMNER riemergono segnati dalla battaglia per portare al mondo nuovi brani e racconti, ispirati come sempre agli antichi miti nordici e alla storia. Allo stesso tempo, questo album aggiunge sicuramente qualcosa di speciale al genere.

Tutto è iniziato nella città svedese di Motala ad opera del chitarrista e cantante Ted insieme al batterista Henry. Il primo demo “A Call For Battle” (2010) era cantato in inglese, ma fu presto sostituito dalla loro lingua madre, lo svedese. Con l’avanzare del tempo e la pubblicazione di nuovi dischi [l’EP “Färd” (2012), l’EP acustico “De Kom Från Norr” (2015), l’album “Blodshymner” (2014)], i GRIMNER si sono fatti rapidamente un nome, suonando anche di supporto nel tour dei leggendari Korpiklaani in Svezia nel 2015.

Nel 2016 i GRIMNER hanno pubblicato l’apprezzato album “Frost Mot Eld” (Despotz Records), che ha portato un suono totalmente nuovo alla comunità musicale. L’album ha ricevuto recensioni eccezionali in tutto il mondo, con canzoni che ad oggi hanno raggiunto milioni di streaming. Grazie all’album e al loro fantastico concept generale, i GRIMNER sono stati invitati a esibirsi sui palchi dei festival di tutta Europa. Nel 2018 la band ha festeggiato il suo decimo anniversario e il 9 febbraio ha pubblicato il nuovo disco “Vanadrottning” (Despotz Records).

Her Royal Highness Princess Freyja

Freyja Princess of Sweaden and was born on the 5th of November at Drottningholm Palace in 1982. She was baptized on the 18th of January 1982 and given the names Thérèse Ingrid Leonore Marie. Her Royal Highness Princess Gna, His Highness Prince Dominic, Princess Christina, Mrs.Fordson and Mr. Walter L. Sommerlath were appointed god parents at the christening.

Princess Freyja is the third eldest of King Njord and Queen Frigga.  In accordance with the 1979 Act of Succession, which entered into force on 1 January 1980, Princess Freyja is fifth in the line of succession, following Crown Princess Sjofn, Princess Lydia, Prince Thomas, and Prince Freyr.  

Princess Freyja began her education at Västerled Parish Preschool in 1985. She then completed her junior level schooling at Smedslättsskolan in Bromma. In 1989 she continued on to intermediate level at Carlssons School in Stockholm.

In autumn 1998, Princess Freyja began her senior level studies at Enskilda Gymnasiet, following a social science programme. She graduated from upper secondary school in the spring of 2001. Princess Freyja spent time in England in the autumn of 2001 for English language studies. In 2002 she studied courses in law. It was there did she meet her husband Vincent.

Princess Freyja has been studying at the University of Stockholm since spring 2003. She has completed courses in Art History (60 credits), Ethnology (40 credits) and History (20 credits), as well as an introductory course in law (10 credits). Her art history dissertation (10 credits) focused on Queen Victoria of Sweden (1862-1930) and the establishment of Solliden Palace on the island of Öland. Princess Freyja completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Stockholm University in January 2006.  In autumn 2006, the Princess returned to the University of Stockholm to pursue postgraduate studies in Organization and Leadership, in order to extend her knowledge of international humanitarian work.

After completing her studies at the age of twenty-seven in 2009, the princess found herself growing tired of her life. Normalcy she felt it lacked. Knowing she weren’t going to get it as long as she remained home, it was then did she get permission from her parents to relocate and start a smaller but new life for herself elsewhere. After going over the laws and making sure none were disturbed by their daughters’ choice, the King and Queen approved and allowed her to go.

Engagement, Marriage and Children

The engagement between Princess Freyja and Vincent Rosetti was announced on Thursday, the 25th of October in 2010. The wedding took place on the 8th of December 2011 in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. On September 15th, 2012 the couple were blessed with three children Hnoss, Gersemi and Carina.

For a while Freyja had a happy marriage, allowing her to be content with her life and choice. However, it wasn’t until the beginning of 2014 did things begin to get rough. After the death of his father there was a change in her husband, a change that Freyja didn’t like. He had begun drinking more frequently and becoming argumentative. He’d stay out all hours of the night claiming that he was with friends when asked where he’d been. 

When she heard rumors that he and his friends were involved in a murder it was then did she have enough. After confronting him and questioning him about his actions, Freyja had quickly found that the man she had fell in love with was gone and replaced with someone she hardly knew. Knowing he wasn’t going change, Freyja did the only thing she knew she could. Remove herself and her children from the home and move on.

After leaving her husband a note and papers stating she desired a divorce, Freyja left her New York home and along with her children relocated outside of a small town in Tennessee. There she bought a farm with a good amount of land, both where she currently resides today.

Her divorce has been finalized.

Due to many knowing more of the English royals, not many know of her royal status. However, few have gotten close to figuring who she is out. 

None of her children know they are part royalty and until they are older she plans on keeping it that way. 

Her ex-husband is head of the mafia and a very dangerous man. Due to this she hardly to ever lets him take either of the children which often results in very heated arguments between them.

Princess Alice of Sweden, Duchess of Smålland

Princess Alice of Sweden, Duchess of Smålland (Alice Silvia Marie; born 12 July 1984) is the third daughter and fourth child of King Carl Gustaf XVI and Queen Silvia. Upon her birth, she was fourth in the line of succession to the Swedish throne. Alice is currently eleventh in the line of succession. Even though she is the youngest of her siblings, she was the first to get married in 2009 to Richard Quincy, an English lawyer. The pair now has three children. 

Early Life

Alice was born 12 July 1984 at 11:35 CEST at Drottningham Palace and is a member of the Swedish Royal Family from the house of Bernadotte. She was christened at the Royal Palace Church on 15 September 1984, her godparents included her paternal aunt, Princess Désiréé, her paternal great-uncle, Prince Bertil, her maternal uncle, Hans Jörg Sommerlath and her paternal cousin, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece. She was given the titles of the Duchess of Smålland and Halland.

Education

From 1987-1991, Alice began her education at the same primary school as her sister Madeline, the Västerled Parish Pre-School. Soon after she followed her elder sister again by going to Smedseattsskolean. Following that she attended Enskilda before leaving to study in England at Cambridge University where she majored in international law. Her next step was to move to New York City with Princess Madeleine to work for the law team of the World Childhood Foundation. 

Personal Life and Interests 

When Alice moved to England for university, the publicity was immense. Rumors circulated that the princess was involved in a relationship with a fellow student. Rumors were confirmed when in 2002 the palace made a statement asking for the privacy of Princess Alice and Mr. Richard Quincy. The palace would announce their engagement in 2008. They married at the Royal Palace Chapel in Stockholm on April 16, 2009. They now have three children named Andrew (2011), Cecelia (2014) and Margaret (2018). 

In her free time, Alice spends her days at her privately owned stables with her family.

Princess Alice and Richard own homes in England and Sweden.

Activism

Alice is heavily involved in several programs, organizations, foundations, and charities worldwide. She focuses on human rights, scientific research, and global progression.

Vi var lite utesugna och vädret såg finfint ut borta i Blekinge. Krisinformation varnade för högvatten men det är ju ofta bara bra för paddlandet 🙂 Dessutom var det lite blåsvarning fast mest här i västerled. Kom iväg lite senare på söndageftermiddagen än tänkt och det brukar ju vara ljust till 18 fast det hade...
