“ there’s a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. it would be a pity to damage yours. ”
“Weiss... can you please use your inside voice when you’re in your gay fantasies?”
Hidden under a few blankets, and now one less pillow as it was flung in Weiss’ general direction to emphasize her point, Blake rolled over under her mass of comfort across the room. It was just the two of them and Blake was attempting to take advantage of the quiet. Blake dismissed any chance of Weiss knowing she was there or she was directing such comments to herself. They had reconciled over Blake’s heritage rather quickly, but not that quickly.
“Or if you’re feeling so repressed,” She added with a grumbling sigh. “I’m sure Coco could help you with picking up a few solutions, or even Yang. I’m the last person you should ask for relationship... anything.”
So much for trying to have a nap.

@stormflowerhonor
Ren comes bearing tea and several books he remembered Blake expressing interest in. "Hey there. Mind if I sit down? I just kind of need a quiet place to sit right now." (Maybe Beacon-era?)
Ren was one of the few people that could sneak up on Blake. This was another one of those times where she was lost in her paper fictions and he had managed to startle her. Turning to look at him, she what Ren had brought with him. She slid a bookmark into her own novel, and reached up to help free his hands.
“I don’t mind, Ren.” She answered. “Seems I’m not the only one who needs a break from the school humdrum.”
Vytal was approaching so the murmurs and buzzing of students had been growing to a large droning of rumors and gossip. It was difficult to find a time of peace and quiet, with needing to catch up on studies and maintain grades if you wanted to participate at all. Even some senior year teams hadn’t come back from missions yet, and Blake knew they were meant to participate.
“Did Jaune manage to get you signed up for the tournament?”

“We all can’t be elegant wordsmiths. Sometimes you just gotta punch someone.” (from sundragcn!! I'm totes mobile on my other blog hahaha )
@sundragcn
She had to shake her head to hide her rolling eyes. “I don’t think you get to use that as an excuse, considering your daily use of puns.”
The shade in the sparring grounds of Beacon was a welcome reprieve from the heat of the sun. Blake had been sitting and watching recorded rounds off of her scroll between the two half sisters that had been taken earlier in the week. As per Ruby’s request, she wanted everyone to work on paired combat techniques. Blake and Yang had very different ideas of how to do that.
Looking up from her scroll, she continued. “Your sister always wants to try one shot of diplomacy before your fists get a bit trigger happy. At least when it comes to anything that can be reasoned with.”
Much to Blake’s dismay, Zwei fit in that category.
“You do seem to be leaning into one side more than the other. Any perceptive person could figure out your handedness that way.”

“Well this is certainly… incredibly interesting. Nice to meet you.”
Why is it always someone with a sense of humour...?
Zip ties were quickly cut and tucked into her pocket. Blake could discard those later. The less evidence of a freed captive the better. The man didn’t appear to be a faunus, but something in the back of her mind told her of a familiarity. A very vague one.
A dark warehouse was not the time for introductions.
“I suppose the same.” She whispered through the scarf that was doing well enough to hide half her face in the twilight hours. “Are you injured? Can you walk or see in the dark?”
Hopefully she could figure out what he was from that last question. The plan for tonight had changed, what was a surveillance job had now turned into a rescue mission.

“ your vote of confidence is overwhelming. ”
“Well look who’s mastering sarcasm?”
Weiss and Blake had an interesting relationship. Sass could easily turn into anger and there was a fine line easily crossed with just a simple slip of the tongue.
This was training however, and Ruby had stuck them together to work on team tactics. If anyone was going to get a bit aggressive, weapons would be involved. Granted, that was the point of their two hour time slot, but it wouldn’t have been a productive two hours.
She continued with sincerity. “I wasn’t trying to sound condescending. I can’t imagine having such an empowering semblance that lets you alter time and several other things is easy to master.”

“ chin up, Miss Belladona, they’d kill to see you fall. ”
Blake was startled by the professor, unfamiliar with a voice that was calmer and quieter than the one in the classroom. Even further, she didn’t expect to be caught with a dower expression on her face.
The concern brought a smile on her face. “Thanks Professor. I can... agree with that.”
There wasn’t any way she could express to the other how many different ways that statement was correct. No one knew she wasn’t a human and she wanted to keep it that way. That included the faculty of Beacon. The longer she could keep up the facade, the safer she felt.
“Sorry, I’m not used to seeing you outside of class, sir.” A kind glance towards him. “You always seem busy.”

“Really, I’m fine, this isn’t a fever. I’m just a little dizzy.”
Blake had been in the presence of better liars. Weiss’ complexion didn’t lend itself an ally to her claim at all. Redness was very obvious on her face, and her claim of dizziness didn’t lend itself to her ‘being fine’.
“Then all the more reason for you to lay down and take a sick day.” Blake insisted, arms crossed. “You weren’t up at your usually early hour, and if that’s not a sign then I don’t know what is.”
The dorm kettle was already boiled and ready to go. Weiss could do with out coffee for one morning as far as Blake was concerned. Luckily it was the weekend, so if the other had to fret about missing classwork, it was very simple to ease those worries.
“Besides, do you really want me to tell Ruby you aren’t feeling well?”
Was that a threat? It might have been a threat.
