"I think so," she agreed, as she added her rations onto the top of her pack. A faint smile tugged her lips upwards as she met Merlin's concerned gaze, and she put the straps over her shoulders. "I'll be fine," she assured him, reaching across to squeeze his arm. "I'm in far more danger here than in the woodlands. I grew up in these forests, remember?"

"No, I don't know any magic that would cause harm to someone," she explained, with a faint twitch of her lips. "Those with magic have natural abilities, but we also have to train and learn how to use our powers effectively. I'm best at healing magic," she explained, with a self-conscious little shrug of her shoulders.

At his question, she blinked in surprise and her smile grew. He wanted to see her again? She had half been fearing that he would report her to the authorities as soon as he left the forest. "Well, yes...if you'd like to. I'm selling my remedies at the village market at the end of the week...perhaps I can see you there?"

"You couldn't?" Elio repeats eyebrows shooting up, "I mean I'm glad you can't… Not that I think you're the type to harm anyone but I thought everyone had the same kind of magic." Did that sound stupid? Definitely ignorant but then again it seemed like there was a lot Uther hadn't told his citizens and it was not as if you could go around and ask about it to random strangers. That would lead to a one way trip to the dungeon or worse.

"Thank you for saving me and leading me back to the village," Elio says turning around to look at her with a smile. "Will I be able to see you again?" He hears himself asking to his surprise, "I want to thank you properly when I have my things back." There's no particular plan as to how he would repay her kindness but perhaps he could bring her some dinner and they picnic somewhere? Or would that look too much of a date? Either way, he still had time to figure it, out if she even wanted to see him again.

So in my D&D campaign, Zilvra the feylost drow druid-turned-warlock with fey-induced amnesia has had a lot of character development! She is so fun and my favorite ;v;

Our group adopted/saved/kidnapped(?) an orc, who is now a sort of apprentice for our cleric. This session, they were working on teaching him to read before bed, lol. Someone asked how tall he was at some point, and we realized that, with how tiny drow are, Zilvra and the orc would have a tiny evil lady/himbo henchman vibe going on, and the cleric immediately shipped it. I leaned into it, and it has been hilarious.

Unfortunately for her, one of her parting "gifts" from the feywilds was that any flower wilts in her presence, so..... haha.

We also had the big reveal from the DM this week that she was actually a Lolth-following drow before being fey-napped!

I had told the DM in session 0 that I am totally open to anything he wanted for her backstory with my framework, be it naturally good drow or traditional Lolth drow who learns to accept outsiders after the experience, but he had suggested that I go ahead and throw an idea at him. I went with a modern Eilistraee-following drow backstory who lived with an above-ground druidic circle, so that she wouldn't seem too edgy. But the DM apparently had other plans and it was SO GOOD because I/the other players did NOT expect it at all!

We met another drow at the end of the session who recognized her, leading to exposition where we learned she had been sent from the underdark to get druidic assistance in ending a war against mindflayers. She was instead caught by fey for 200 years and failed her mission, leading to the destruction of their city :O But the matron of her house survived, and recently returned to their old home to try to rebuild....

So now she knows that, while she was a druid (circle of spores), she was not a particularly friendly one, and she has -angst- about what she will be like when she completes the mission assigned by her unknown fey patron and her memories are returned. Does she stay an adventurer? Does she return to her home in the underdark? Does she turn against her party? Or have they changed her?

I'm so flipping excited for this campaign. I love the other players/characters and the DM has put in so much work. I'm gonna be sad when we finish this campaign since it is only supposed to go to level 6 :')

Her heart thudded in her chest at the power in his voice, and she gazed up at him with her eyes shining. Tested? She wondered what such a trial would entail, and how the king would fair. Swallowing thickly, she so hoped that he would succeed - despite the anguish the Pendragons had inflicted upon her people, she did not want all of Camelot to suffer.

"Very well," she agreed, nodding deferentially. "I will do so right away." Of course, there was the real possibility that she would not be believed or even permitted to speak to him. But she would due her duty, and pass on the message.

"Will I - will I get to see you again?" she asked. For although she had been promised safety, what would happen to her if Arthur failed the tests?

"Behold, hear my voice," the lion lifted his head up, he looked so mighty that no one else could look like that. "I am giving Arthur a new chance so he can amend his mistake. He will be tested."

Tests which were intended to prove Arthur's worth: a farmer, who would be trying to steal grain to feed his starving family - to test his compassion; a thief, who would taunt him - to test his pride; and the final test in the Labyrinth of Gedref - to prove how pure his heart was. The prince was supposed to succeed - fail will bring terrible consequences.

The lion now looked at Kiara again. He didn't mean to tell her more details, instead he said, "Go and warn him: until he has proven himself, the curse will not be lifted. If he fails any of these tests, Camelot will be damned for all eternity."

first guy is Voytek, he's a shurpa, kinda shy and awkward at small talk 'whats ur fav ? -flower, colour, pet? ever seen an undead? Ever see a city? What's ur home town like? Excuss for flashbacks.

That possum is was a normal girl, cursed this way by a higher demon deal. Lady love cursed her for using a higher demon to try and seduce the guy she liked. Oscar the owl bard has no idea the possoms weird drug-like performance is her last chance to free herself because he needs to kiss her volenteerily. He prob wouldn't if he knew the truth, and it won't work if he only knew half truth (she needs a bards kiss, u so it!). The wood elves can't talk to her because she's only speak in infernal.

Bearded Elf, half woodelf is a firm believer in balance of civ and nature. He's a druid and herbalist, and looks after the rare plants in all the mini biomes like the geyser and the swollow hole (blocked off casam with isolated and one of a kind biosphere). He hates politics and talks about power and just wants to let things be. If I subscribed to any politics it would be my wood elf family's, they expected me to kill people who tresspassed, any time I wasn't pregnant or mothering the next 'generation of warriors'. Murder and motherhood was not what I wanted for myself, obviously. I think power and politics inevitably leads to individuals being pushed into roles they aren't meant 'for the needs of the many.'.

owl bard is retired from the city of song and it's celebrity rat-race. He's settled here for a quiet life, and feels used by his fans who now don't remember him, but he barely knew the people he spent with the night with, so he's no better. He blames the city lifestyle, bares no grudges, stays here and feels a old and little dirty with himself.

masked druid is a typical look at the average tourist who comes here and hikes the trail.

This elf is an amature herbalist, from the vague west, who dosn't talk about his backstory, even lies about small stuff to Voytek. Shake voice and nervous. He really loves the druid stuff and would love to learn magic from a PC. He is secretly a city boy and dosn't do well in the outdoors and camping. Really wants help from magic to clean and stuff. He clearly never had friends. He's actually from the city of Silk and he's come to steal the rare plant that is super endangered. But a druid master-apprentice thing, a romance or kind friendship, can make him back down. He has a scroll that can teleport him under moonlight. "And now under the light of the moon my escape with this... It's day?! How long were we in there?". Voytek "two hours maybe" "I really thought it was longer, combat was quick... How long til sunset?" V: "do u mean sunset or Moonrise, because those are diff-eh-rent" "o right sorry, am moon rise then do do u know when that will be?" "Yes..." "Will you tell me please?" No... "Well that's fair, ya sorry..."

Last is a half-fire elf who is chill himbo, loves his ducks. Gladiator in the city of Ice on the weekends, builder in the log town otherwise.

This is Cibarias Amenita. She is a spores druid, if the mushrooms form, flower skirt and green bg wasn't making it obvious :v

She is also a Satyr. She is painfully shy, thats why she hides her horns and hooves.

Cibarias belongs to Nadia and Nadia alone. In fact, Nadia is the only person that can touch her, not even Asra does it casually.

Your forgiving and nurturing nature. You are just like a druid in the way that you respect nature and he loves that about you. 

B-Baby, would they want kids with you as soon as possible?

Yes. Hendrickson basically helped to raise Griamore, Gilthunder, and Howzer, so he will want kids as soon as possible. 

C-Celebration, how would they celebrate your anniversaries?

Hendrickson is a hopeless romantic. He would make you dinner and make sure that everyone else stays away so that he can make you feel just as loved as you make him feel. 

D-Divorce, how would they handle if you wanted a divorce? What caused it?

His self loathing is what caused it. This absolutely destroys him. He wants nothing more than to be worthy of you and to him he has failed and there was no saving it. 

E-Earnest, are they serious about your marriage? Or can they be a little immature about it?

Hendrickson takes your relationship very serious. He is never immature about it because he takes this as serious as his job as a Holy Knight. 

F- Favorite, what was your favorite things before and after you got married to each other?

Favorite thing before and after you got married is Hendy’s inability to resist Honey. You have to hide it to keep him out of the honey jar, but if this man gets a whiff of it you have no hope to keep it secret. Sometimes you even buy some just so that you can watch him get sticky from the mess he makes. 

G-Giving, do they spoil you?

Hendrickson is sure to spoil you. Flowers, poems, dresses, surprise date nights. You name it. He spoils you rotten and often times you pitty the other women around you whose husband’s don’t treat them with the same respect and reverence. 

H-Honeymoon, what did you two do for your honeymoon?

Hendrickson is first and foremost a druid. Even though he was cast out he is still a druid of nature. A honeymoon in the forest with a cliff outlook to the sea was something you never thought you would want to do, but being pulled by the waves on the cliff face would put you to sleep in an instant, that is, after you two had your fun. 

I-Invest, how much do they contribute to your marriage?

Hendrickson put everything into your marriage. He still does. You, not expecting this at first, were shocked. Though once the shock wore off you put equal amount of effort into your marriage. The only time he doesn’t put in effort is when he is training your children to be holy knights. You can understand though. This is what will keep them safe. 

J-Jealous, do they still get jealous even though you’re completely theirs?

Yes. Hendrickson is very much the jealous type. Part of this stems from. His fear that you will realize that the things that he has done cannot be atoned for and he will always be the monster he thinks he is. 

K-Kiss, how often would you two kiss? Do you still have that spark?

Hendrickson is big on formality. He will not kiss you in public. He does love to kiss you when you are home though. Good morning kisses are a must. Goodnight kisses are never missed. Kisses are also always given to you in tandem with thank yous. 

L-Live, where would you two settle down at?

You live in Lioness, though you both would like to move to live in the same forest that you had your honeymoon in. 

M-Make, do they still make your heart flutter after years of marriage?

The one thing that makes your heart flutter is his soft kisses on the back of your hand. He is such a gentleman that it makes your heart skip a beat every single time. 

N-Never, what is something they would never do?

He would never raise his voice to you. Even when you have your days, and that one time that you screamed at him that he didn’t love you the way he said he did while you were pregnant with your first child, he never and will never raise his voice at you. 

O-Opportunity, do you two still get the opportunity to be intimate with one another?

Drefus is always there to lend a hand, just as Hendrickson was there to lend a hand to him. Uncle Drefus will always take the kids so that you two can have some alone time. If it isn’t Drefus it’s Meliodas who will let you guys get in some alone time. Though you are pretty sure he is racking up some debt so that he will have that time later on. 

P-Pet names, what pet names do you two give each other?

You always call him Darling, and Hendy always calls you My Heart. You find it adorable and you will never stop. 

Q-Quiet, do you two keep quiet about your marriage? Or do you always brag about one another?

No, you always brag about each other. You know he brags about you to the guys and equally you find yourself bragging to all of your female friends about how wonderful of a husband he is. 

R-Romance, how do you two keep your romance alive?

With how spoiled you are and how much you both put into your marriage there is no short supply of romance in your marriage. Late night walks in Lioness, star gazing, and the trips to town festivals. 

S-Selfie, would they take multiple pictures of you? Would they save them on their phone?

If he had a phone, yes he would. He does love to have portraits made, especially of you two and his whole family. 

T-Teenagers, do you still act like teens when you’re older?

No. You might act silly every once and a while, but you don’t act like teenagers. 

U-Unrelenting, what hasn’t stopped since you two got married?

He is always the one to make breakfast every morning. Normally you are a late riser, or at least later than he is. So you find that you are served breakfast every morning. 

V-Valentine’s Day, what plans do you two make?

It’s always a surprise for you. Sometimes you two spend it alone and others you spend it on a short vacation from the Holy Knights. 

W-Wedding, what was your wedding like?

Small, with only Hendrickson’s close friends and yours. You find that you liked the small wedding and that even though it was small his vows to you were the most amazing words that you will never forget. 

X-X-Ray, can you two see through each other? Can you see when you’re lying or not?

Hendrickson can always tell when you are upset, but lying? You don’t normally lie to each other. The only thing you lie about is when you two have surprises for each other and you two have gotten so good at it, it is like second nature. You can keep these secrets from each other easy as pie. 

Y-Yearly Tradition, what do you two do every year for your wedding anniversary?

Being a druid Hendy is big on traditions. You find that he always serves you breakfast in bed, You’ll god out to spend the day together and follow everything up by going out to dinner before you two go to the castle baths before some fun time.

Her heart thudded in her chest as Niamh stepped closer, but before she could question her - make sure this was really what she wanted - she'd already closed the gap between them.

Oh. The stampeding in her stomach suddenly stopped, and a sense of peace descending upon her as their lips met. It felt so right. Timidly, a hand reached up and entwined in the hair at the back of Niamh's head, her fingertips ever so gentle.

A quiet, breathless laugh escaped her at Niamh's admittance, and she quickly closed the gap between them to press another soft kiss to her lips. "You should have done it sooner," she playfully told her. "At least we can kiss lots now...?"

At first, Niamh regretted asking, if only because she was sure she'd made a fool of herself. She half expected Kiara to yank her hand away or yell at her, but she did neither of those things. Instead, she smiled, making Niamh's heart skip a beat.

She stepped closer, reaching up and cupping Kiara's face with her empty hand. Without any hesitation she leaned in and kissed her. Her lips were soft and she tasted so sweet.
