I always imagined Aurora in full plate before I started playing, but she looks so nice in the various ring mail armors (especially this more ornate one) that I think I've changed my mind a little.

Maybe she favored the chain/ring mail in her days under Bhaal, finding it a more versatile and flexible style of armor over plate, while still giving a reasonable amount of protection. Like heavy armor has disadvantage on stealth either way, but I can't imagine ring mail and full plate would make nearly the same amount of noise.

And then that shows itself again after being tadpoled, with her actively choosing chain/ring mail over anything else without quite knowing why. I imagine it's a more practical armor to travel and fight in anyways.

So about six years ago, I created a homebrew system for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon tabletop game. It didn't quite pan out, so I migrated to a heavily homebrewed version of DnD 5e (also designed by yours truly.) Until about 4 months ago, I was running two different campaigns as well as a handful of smaller adventures. I can't take full credit, my boyfriend has been a massive help with running games and coming up with homebrew. Over the last half decade, I've kept a record of all of the characters that have played in our games. (Lodi's) Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden - A Primer

The year is 1497 DR on the continent of Faerûn. Approximately three years ago, a group of adventurers called The Dawnbringers unwittingly unleashed a group of evil beings called The Dark Powers, who had been previously trapped in a series of pocket dimensions called Domains of Dread.

Shortly thereafter, thousands of miles to the north, the Icewind Dale became ensnared in an endless winter, caused by the goddess Auril the Frostmaiden for reasons yet unknown. Though the Dawnbringers were able to defeat the Dark Powers and bring relative peace to southern Faerûn, Icewind Dale remained trapped in the dark, cold embrace of Auril's winter...

The Party

Dahlia Tidesong: a half-elf cleric and sister to Kairos, Dahlia has lived in Ten Towns all her life. Originally from the town of Lonelywood, she and Kairos moved to the much larger city of Bryn Shander after the death of their parents. While there, she encountered a group of traveling worshippers of Lliira, the goddess of joy. She quickly became a convert. As her day job, she works at a tavern called The Northlook.

Kairos Tidesong: a tiefling ranger and brother to Dahlia, Kairos has likewise grown up in Ten Towns. He is Dahlia's younger sibling. Rather than take up a traditional job like his sister, Kairos became a ranger, traveling from town to town doing odd jobs, though he always knew he had a home in Bryn Shander. During one of his more recent hunting trips, he came across a strange egg half-buried in the snow, which hatched into the large lizard-like creature he named Thorn.

Nevarth Elverquisst IV: an astral elf mage who fell into Icewind Dale after the moon was destroyed due to actions caused by the fight between the Dawnbringers and the Dark Powers, Nevarth is VERY proud of his lineage. Refined and more than a little entitled, Nevarth detests the poor living conditions in Ten Towns, and he quickly ran out of the (sizeable sum of) money he had on his person when he was displaced from the moon. He runs a magical curios "shop" in Bryn Shander. A little less than a year ago, he encountered Maydene on the verge of death in the snow, and took her into his care. She now works as his "assistant".

Maydene: a Drow mage who stumbled into Icewind Dale after leaving the Underdark. Before she could freeze to death, Nevarth happened to find her, and she now "works" for him. Quiet and reserved, the only person who knows much about May is Nevarth, and even he doesn't know much. The other creature who knows May well is Luna, the small black cat who is Nevarth's familiar. Though she has not revealed this to the party, May appears to be plagued by some kind of strange visions.

Lorelei Longuemare: an Eladrin gunslinger fighter who fell into the Icewind Dale through mysterious circumstances. We know that she came from The Feywild, the parallel plane that sits above the Material Plane, and that something had been chasing her when it happened. Though she is one of the older members of the party, she is strikingly naive about the social mores of the Material Plane. Even worse, ever since falling into the Material Plane, she has struggled to keep her season in check, and has been flipping wildly between spring, summer, autumn, and winter forms.

In addition to the player characters, two other people are currently traveling with the party.

Vee: a mysterious man that the party found trapped in an iceberg. He was still alive after they unthawed him, but he had no memory of who he was, how he got there, or even what his name was. He was also completely naked save for a necklace around his neck, which had a charm with an intricate magical rune etched into it. Without anyone else to turn to, he decided to travel with the party. After a short time, he came to believe that his name must started with the sound "V", and the party has been calling him that ever since.

Cain: a nomadic warrior who encountered the party when they visited a Reghed Tribe's camp. Apparently, Cain used to be a member of the Wolf Tribe, but he has since been outcast. He originally joined the party only temporarily in order to help neutralize the threat of a raging Yeti, but was tricked into staying with the group when Lorelei asked if he was too chicken to explore a mysterious ruin. For some reason, he just hasn't left yet.

Restoring the Light, Facing the Dark || Closed RP with burden-and-truth

Slow.

The huntress listened to the hushed voice of her instincts, her feet inching almost achingly slowly over the ground. She didn’t quite blend in with her surroundings anymore, her light blue garments and golden hair making her stand out amongst the greenery she called home. Not that it mattered, anyway; the spirit of darkness she was hunting was preoccupied digging up the dirt in front of it. This entire place reeked of it, and her spear hummed lowly, ready to purge the area of corruption.

Once she got close enough, the huntress sprung to life, taking the creature by surprise. The humming of her spear increased in pitch, but was masked by the frightened cries of her target. They were quickly silenced, though, as her spear found its mark, pinning it against the tree behind it. It gave a couple more pitiful cries before its essence completely dissipated, along with the darkness that tinged the nature around her. Pulling her spear from the bark in the tree, the ascended huntress passed her hand over it to heal what damage she’d done.

As her power collected in her palm however, something else caught her attention. Her nose still tingled with the smell of corruption, but it was... Different. Less potent, maybe even warped. Pupils narrowed into slits at the thought of another being hanging around despite her having made quick work of the other one. Quickly restoring the crack in the bark where her spear had viciously embedded itself, she followed her nose, once again on the hunt.

I usually try to respond to my threads equally, but if I am enjoying a role play thread a lot more I may prioritize it. Do not come at me complaining, I will get to your response when I get time.

I am non-selective, this means I interact with anyone and everyone this includes Ocs, & other fandoms. However if your oc has no bio or is just a “big tiddy anime cat girl” I may not interact.

Why haven’t you responded to our thread?

Many reasons could be why, I am getting to yours, I am simply busy, or i could have dropped it if it was no fun or you gave me nothing to work with. I rarely drop threads though.

You might have broken my rules, could have been nagging me about responses constantly when i gave you reason, you attacking my friends, anon hate or just being a dick in general. I get enough salt from playing LOL alone.

Yasuo never was sure how you became a couple since you’re on the other sides of this big “war” if that’s what he can call it. 

All he knew that you were special. 

Even though you were on the light side, and he was on the dark one, he was sure he had feelings for you. 

He told them pretty bluntly, being ready for easy “no” and leaving him like that. 

He just wanted to use shock therapy, you get dumped and then your crush goes away.

Little did he knew - you liked him too.

He confesses to you - you kiss him. 

So instead of going away - his crush develops into deep fucking love. 

Then - things start to fall apart.

Because of your other perspectives you often had fights.

And the last one ended up with big “fuck you” and parting ways. You even broke up! 

After this one fight you haven’t talked for two-three weeks. 

The fight occurred, making you both fight on the other sides, being still separated.

Aphelios shot you through with his Calibrum, shooting you through, making you fall on the ground right away.

A roar of hurt and guild teared it’s way through Yasuo’s throat. 

He rushed to your side and held you close to his chest, sobbing his devil eyes out. 

He MOURNED over you, making everyone surrounding you stop. 

It was a big damn shock for everyone since “how did that even happened?”, but that’s a first reaction. 

But because of that outburst, everyone focused on saving you!! 

After that, when you woke up, you got to hear from Karma that there’s been peace announced between Nightbrongers and Dawnbringers. 

Quite a shock, but you’ll take it! 

News about you waking up were big, so Yasuo was there for you in no time.

He apologised and begged you to accept him back to your life. 

You kissed his hand gently, smiling up to him, giving him a sign you still love him.
