i've tried making some sort of post about it since last night probably 4 or 5 times, but I finally got to read through Dungeon Meshi and it's hard to like..... talk about how i feel about it...? not that it is a confusing story!!

I think it is genuinely so good in so many different ways/directions it's kind of hard to pick just one thing and roll with it you know? but it felt life-changing kind of.. in a way that's hard to put into words.. yes i will take things slow, yes i will stop looking at food and rest as rewards and not the bare minimum my body needs for it to carry out the tasks i give it effectively. yes i see the importance of not only doing the things you want to do, and the ways that only doing what you want can come back to bite you in the ass.

so on and so forth, it was just really good.. i think the biggest bittersweet thing i felt by the end of it was a gut punch feeling of wanting to share a meal with someone ಥ_ಥ there is also something very raw in watching someone literally give themselves the strength they need to make it through the day, and it's not even extraordinary it's just.. they take care of themselves. each other (⁠´⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠.̫⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠`⁠) i hope to find myself in similar company one day.

#was also v emotional by the end of it bc i was up for two days straight and didn't eat #😑 long story. but yeah i feel much better after a big meal n lots of rest. even asked if i could take the day off bc I've been #working too hard #but anyways. u know when u read something that causes some small fundamental shift inside of u? that's how this feels #kind of like how yotsubato is telling u in every chapter that today is always the most enjoyable day and then that becomes a mantra u follow #by the end of it. I'm still sitting on all of this though and thinking about it ૮ – ﻌ–ა i know imma re-read this lol ♡⁠#i would say. this is one of my favorite stories ever #🚶🏾‍♀️i don't have anything deep to say or spoilers/analysis etc i just think it was a delightful experience and i would recommend it

#listen I’ve heard people saying loki is way too OP now to be in anymore battle scenes #but LISTEN #he’s only omniscient and omnipotent while he’s holding the branches #if he leaves his throne yeah he’ll still be able to timeslip and freeze time and do telekinesis and stuff #but he won’t be so overpowered that he can’t still be realistically used in a fight scene #it’s just that the fight needs to be against someone who is also super powerful #I need a scene of kang realising that to take control of the multiverse he has to dethrone loki #so he shows up to where the citadel used to be with an army or a badass weapon or smth #and we get a loki v kang 1v1 fight scene in which loki kicks his ass #but then afterwards he realises that more trouble is brewing so the multiversal avengers have to be assembled #and he’s just like a Nick fury type person appearing via astral projections and stuff for most of the movie/saga/whatever #but then at then end when the big battle is going on and the avengers are losing #he has to get up and actually come to the battlefield to handle shit himself #like a deus ex machina #and then afterwards he goes back to the TVA and lives happily ever after the end #loki series #loki meta #loki finale spoilers #avengers kang dynasty #avengers secret wars

Minor SMT V: Vengeance Spoilers!!

Now why tf was the recommended level for the Dagda fight 75 while Mephisto’s was 77??? Dagda was level EIGHTY and even with just a 5 level differential (2 for my Fionn) I had to get SUPREMELY lucky and play perfectly to beat him!

If Fionn didn’t dodge during his juiced “Lost Hit” barrage I would’ve either lost my Whittled Goat or lost the fight all together when I had him at like 10% 😭😭😭

#sonic prime #sonic prime spoilers #listen this is probably exactly what happens when you give a troubled 8 year old the power of a god so #he’s a little shit until the jig is up and then runs behind his older brother when it all goes to shit before you can hit him back #he never really apologized though which was fine before bc he owed everyone nothing but THEN tried to beat the shit out of them #and then FREAKED OUT WHEN EVERYONE ROLLED UP AFTERWARDS LMAO #not a diss against nine at all this is the most eight year old behavior #but I will say the ending was a little rushed #I know nine was conflicted and was almost talked down before the huge fight but idk it felt weird for him to be as hurt by sonic as he was #to the point at which he nearly obliterated everything and everyone in his way #only to kinda give up at the end after Sonic apologized to him like sir you were literally airing him out the WHOLE time #on the grocery store PA system and NOW you’re good???#idk how I feel about it because again it is a very kid thing to do to just act out without thinking but it’s also nine who is v calculated #anyways #sonic

I’m thinking about the ran-jit fight again and how u end up killing him and how it still feels. not great that you kill him, but I can kinda see it from an eyrie pov of being the one to kill him

#it’s like. they already have this rage harbored for the man #but it boils down to them being in a place in ShB where they can’t trust thancred to make the choice to kill him #even if he really could do it. eyrie doesn’t trust thancred to actually do the deed #it’s also partially because they are more than happy to have that blood on their hands #they have no qualms about taking that burden on #knowing all that they do about him it’s clear he made his choice of the world he wishes to live in #the way he wants the world to be and the ends he will go to and the people he will hurt to uphold it #there’s so much ignorance in eulmore but he knows and yet he abides in it #he willfully lives in it and carries out orders at his own behest #he fully and delusionally believes this is the best for the world #which this puts him opposed to eyrie and they have no qualms about going against someone like that #there is no saving ran’jit #eyrie has a lack of trust but they do want to keep thancred safe from that choice #which is. very older brother of eyrie and kinda a messed up mindset #but eyrie and Thancred’s relationship in ShB is all sorts of mess #but beyond Thancred it boils down to Ryne as well #they will see ran’jit dead so that she doesn’t have to make that choice #to be burdened by it #even if there still remains the burden of eyrie taking this on for her #they would see her carry many burdens but not the death of ran’jit #so in a way his death by eyrie’s hand works #which is v fun for character dynamics #but narratively I still think thancred killing him would be better #shadowbringers spoilers #oc: eyrie kisne #I fuckin love the return to eulmore #and I can forgive the stuff in the upper part of Khoulsia because it’s not super terrible bc exarch moment #bc after it’s just go go go to the end of MSQ
