Mask Upgrade

In 2019 I made a mask for a Halloween D&D one shot. It was a rough job with cheap paint from Spirit Halloween. I've used it as my mascot ever since, but felt I could do a better job.

Thankfully the local Michael's art store had a higher quality UV paint. Much darker than the cheap stuff when in normal light, much brighter in UV. Hoping I can make a radiating glow effect for the lava veins, but first I will put a clear gloss coat on the whole thing.

I'm in love with the more defined veins, as opposed to trying to stick to the natural cracks that are already in the original mask.

I used poster boards of different thickness and a LOT of yellow paint!!

#took me two weeks (he was supposed to be a weekend project) but finally!! FINALLY! HE'S DONE!! YAY #bill cipher #gravity falls #used an entire bottle of yellow paint plus almost another one of those big bottles of yellow paint #could still see the sharpie a little but its ok i don't care #the flame glows in the dark! yay!! might make it uv light reactive later because it looks like shit in thr dark fkwkkfkwjd #YAYAYAYYAYAYAYA!! I miss drawing with people in a café and some folks mentioned they'd like to mess with my sketches themselves and that sounds cool so this is now a thing. if u play gartic phone this is basically the complement mode! but without the fucking ring noise that freaks you out right when you're getting into the flow of it
