It's been a bit since we've heard what's going in in etymology of utopia... and its ALWAYS too long since ive last read more typhoon island >:3
The Etymology of Utopia:
“Then find me a way to take notes!” The sharingan turns out to be the solution.  Tobirama, annoyingly, simply accepts it, and neither complains nor pays enough attention for Madara to be properly smug about the sharingan’s superiority.  He simply uses a stick to write what he wants to remember in the dirt, and Madara memorizes it, and Tobirama returns to investigating the god tree as if the process deserves no more thought than that. It makes Madara wonder what Kagami might have known.  But the treasonous boy is long dead, so it doesn’t matter. For all his dramatics, Tobirama doesn’t often demand that Madara rewrite what he’s memorized.  He studies the tree, day and night and while it rains, rarely speaks, and does nothing else.
Typhoon Island:
The one that had shouted pushes the child clinging to her away.  “Whatever you’re here for, you can have it!” “Too late!” Izuna calls, sing-song, and the three still alive turn to focus on where his voice is coming from. Hikaku takes the chance to fling a kunai.  The target deflects it, but Izuna’s fire arrows land on the target’s back, and when she falls Izuna’s blade follows. Then the flashing light begins.  The targets are even more disoriented by that than expected, and the fight is over within seconds. They’re left with four corpses, and a room full of… sixteen children, about half of which are screaming or sobbing.  And a headache.  “We’re done,” Hikaku calls.

In Island, his last novel, Huxley transports us to a Pacific island where, for 120 years, an ideal society has flourished. Inevitably, this island of bliss attracts the envy and enmity of the surrounding world. A conspiracy is underway to take over Pala, and events begin to move when an agent of the conspirators, a newspaperman named Faranby, is shipwrecked there. What Faranby doesn't expect is how his time with the people of Pala will revolutionize all his values and—to his amazement—give him hope.

The last book of visionary writer Aldous Huxley (1894-1963), Island, is a bold attempt to envision a utopian society that provides its members with everything they need to achieve happiness in life. The author of Brave New World tried here to show a positive vision of how he thought that human beings should live and flourish – but the darkness is never far behind, even in this paradise.

As if by magic, tonight when I opened animal crossing to play happy home paradise, one of the villager prompts was to design a home for a guitarist. My character Cam in Just Another Tomorrow is a guitarist. So now I'm going to be designing the home like I think of Cam's home in my book. Very nice suburban type home. I'll try to remember to take pictures when I'm done so I can show y'all

“PRISON CAMP FOR DOUKHOBORS IS VERY EXPENSIVE,” Kingston Whig-Standard. January 11, 1933. Page 10. ---- Will Cost Canada Three Million Dollars to Punish Nude Persons ---- NEWS OF VANCOUVER --- By JOHN MACDONALD (Special to The Whig-Standard) VANCOUVER, B.C. — The most interesting transaction in connection with the arrest and imprisonment of the nude Doukhobors viz the purchase of Pier's Island for a prison camp, is likely to attract increased public attention in the near future. It is simply a bed of rocks in the sea. Ordinary vegetables or food for cattle cannot be grown on it and even the water used for prison purposes has to be hauled to it in barges. What is causing the undercurrent of comment is how the Federal Government was persuaded to make the purchase when it owns several good islands In the district, many of them suited for agricultural purposes, and upon which could be produced food for both the camp and many cattle and thus afford work for the prisoners.
Piers Island was privately owned and it is said that the price paid by the Government was $500,000 including the cost of the shacks forming the camp, and that at the end of three years, the prison term, the total cost of putting those found guilty of making a nude parade in jail will have reached the total of three millions. There are now 569 men and women on the Island. Just imagine what they could produce if the soil were suitable. The camp would be almost self-sustaining as the men are all experienced farmers. Their children are being taken care of in homes in Vancouver at a cost of $20 month each, while old and respected residents of the city now on relief receive only $17.50 for a man, wife, and one child. If the inquiry be made present whisperings indicate that the result will not only furnish a sensation but include a recommendation that the prisoners' sentence be commuted, that they be fined, instead of imprisoned, and sent back to their farms to earn the necessary cash.
The Attorney-General of the Province is held responsible for this feature of the case being overlooked. If a fine of two or three thousand dollars had been imposed in the first place, it is safe to say there would have been only one offence. It would have terminated the parades.
Had the sentence been for two years the province would have had to bear the expense but the three-year term made the Dominion responsible for all cost. Premier Bennett will requested to take special interest in the matter.

Also worth asking here who decides which surgeries are purely cosmetic. Like, people will get plastic surgery after a really bad burn to try to cover up the scar, which can decrease skin irritation. People get “cosmetic” breast surgery in order to decrease back pain. People have many reasons to get surgery, the human experience is vast, but have you never put on makeup just to feel pretty?
I think the straight up worst take on gender abolitionism by far is like "in the gender abolitionist utopia nobody would feel the need to transition medically"
Fuck you. That's completely backwards. True gender abolition can't be achieved without total bodily autonomy and genuine freedom to have whichever bodies we want.
The suggested "utopia" here is just a cisnormative one where you're not allowed to accurately name it as such.

Well if you are working overtime then i command you NOT to try and force yourself go get this done on the day it was sent. But I reread the first chapter of etymology of utopia today so i think a hundred words would not go awry
(....and typhoon island...)
I definitely did not force myself!
The Etymology of Utopia:
“What do you need notes for?  You only have one thing to study.  Just remember it.” The offended look on Tobirama’s face is satisfying.  “I can not possibly memorize everything there is to know about a jutsu of this level!” “I did.  Weren’t you supposed to be a genius?  Did death make you stupid, or was it all the mindless slaughter?” “I never started a war,” Tobirama snaps.  “And clearly you didn’t memorize enough about this jutsu, or you wouldn’t need my help now!” “Oh, I don’t need your help.  Let us be very clear on that," Madara says.  "It’s simply that, if someone must be deprived of the bliss I’ve gifted to the world, I prefer for it to be you.”
Typhoon Island:
Tobirama’s face turns pinker.  “It is unlikely that the remaining kidnappers will harm the children before we reach them, but I would prefer to rescue them first regardless,” he says stiffly.  “Then one of you can hunt down the ones trying to escape.” “You won’t?” Izuna asks. “I will remain with the children, and at that point there will be no need to bring them into battle.  I can direct you to the kidnappers instead.” “Do we have to go?” Kagami asks.  His grip on Hikaku’s coat tightens when everyone looks at him.  “I wasn’t any help this time, and it was scary.”
