I’ve been staring at all of the details that Sash captured in each outfit and it has brought Imogen to life in a way I’ve been dying to see for ages. #I think I did something like this a few years ago??? so consider this an update that's easier on the eyes hehehe#star trek#vulcan fashion#ref#I think a lot of people associate Vulcans with minimalist no color but I've seen plenty of Vulcans#wearing color & patterns in their civilian clothes: T'Pol and T'Pau and Tuvok for example#and Sarek's fashion is quite gaudy with a lot of jewelry and intricate stitching#Also I think Vulcans would utilize a lot of headscarfs/headcoverings in their fashion because it's necessary on their planet#but sometimes they wear them purely for aesthetic reasons - like it's usually a component in an outfit even if it doesn't do anything#Feel free to reblog~!!!

Really hard to not reach through my phone and violently shake the person that said she woke up at noon, played a game on her phone, took a nap, again on her phone, took another nap, etc. for the whole day and then be like “omg yas queen, we all need ✨Self Care™️✨ days!”
I will put this as monosyllabic and with as much love as possible.
That is not and will never be a “✨Self Care™️✨ day”. If you are waking up at noon, not moving from your bed, sleeping even more, not eating, endlessly scrolling your phone that means something is wrong and you should see a medical professional about it.

I know I design him with the intention that he becomes an evasion tank, but there's an irony I find very amusing in making his new magitek armor lighter than his original.
#ffxiv#sketch#concept#zenos yae galvus#adventurer zenos#I'm probably gonna mess with the design more involving his grieves and the belt design#but I'm at least happy with the mask and the marble aesthetic for the upper half of his helm#even if it reminds me heavily of sentai helmets#superhero landing lookin ass#what is not shown is tsu having to heavily bribe nero for the auto-equip tech that he has#aggressively even#...wait that actually does just make him a power ranger#WHOOPS#anyways I also just like the idea of- after a while- him and estinien just keep getting tackled or chased by kids that think theyre cool#and zenos in particular trying hard to shoe them off for a variety of reasons lol#I just get the mental image of him picking up any one of them that approach him- turning them around trying to get them to just walk off#or him “begrudgingly” nudging a ball back and forth acting like hes just trying to move it away from him#I also drew the bottom right with the thought of him not being used to short hair- and he's just stuck having to constantly brush it back#takes the helmet off and it all just fluffs up- and you just hear a sigh through his mask LOL#and then with the cloth- he can turn it into weapons he's used before in case of emergency or utility- like a scythe or the katanas#mostly because as I write adventurer zenos- unless it requires stabbing or slashing he's usually just going to be up front brawling it#look you gotta understand- the final fight lives in my head rent free and I adore the concept of brawler/pugilist zenos

Dandadan is the true spiritual successor to Kill la Kill because:
- Who cares how much or how little clothing they have on when in mortal peril?
- Who cares how much or how little clothing they have when on talking to each other about their feelings?
- It's literally irrelevant bruh. Yeah it can be sexy to an outside observer, but sexy is an aesthetic thing. Besides, there's nothing unnatural or sinful or inherently sexy about having a body under clothing. Or having weird clothing on top of your body. Or doing something vaguely "socially embarrassing". What they're dealing with is either physical danger or emotional drama, not affected by aesthetics. Aesthetics are for dating and for dressing up on your day out. There is no point in letting aesthetics stand between you and a physical advantage in a fight. Or letting aesthetics stand between you and talking sincerely. Just, c'mon, you have bigger things to worry about in life. And you, the reader, have bigger things to worry about in this story. Though this aspect of it might at times be comedic or aesthetically pleasing, yes.

(and is moderately more sensible about the circumstances that led to each situation)

#atropos' design is still somewhat incomplete because there are details i want to add#but for the most part their arms and legs are the ones sporting armor (and decadent ones at that)#because their only worth is the part of them that can partake in action. that can kill and chase and maim and just Do#you wouldn't keep an old hound around in a world like this out of pure sentiment - no. it does its job well#and you'll run it's snout into the ground before you lay it to rest#and they don't have armor on their viral organs because they simply do not care if they die. in fact - if there's anything strong enough to#even NICK their vulnerable body parts? they'll count that as a luxury. better to die a soldier's death than to die discarded#alas... no one or thing has been strong enough to truly challenge their lax approach. yet#lachesis is decadent to the max - they sport jewelery of all types. they are gold and ivory. they are glory in every detail#because its human geniusry they're wearing. and they can only bathe in it as an untalented curator indulges in a gallery of masterpieces#maybe if they shroud themself in enough detail then you'll miss the rot in their sclera and hands. the unblinking smile#the 2 faces beneath their veil#clotho is supposed to be a LOT more gaunt than i draw them im still trying to figure them out#as in. they're literally just skin and bones and rot. all their flesh melted off#they swindle themself in simple cloth to portray themself as assuming and innocent#as trustworthy and pure. to hide the sharp edges beneath linen#they take such strong inspiration from a character inspired by plague doctors despite being an obstetrician#they save lives. in every way of the word. they midwife to birthing mothers and they expel sickness and disease#and they bring your dying self back from the dead. not truly. not wholly. but still - you still serve some use.#theirs is not the sanctity of life. but rather the utility of it

Though I already knew I'd start with her haha#Have a little preview to start us off - I have Lots of thoughts to each part of development I ended up in but I want to roll them out slowly#Not everything all at once anyway haha - thoughts get all jumbled now that I'm on this side of things pft#I wasn't able to finish A Version I'd be willing to publish in just a month - even then I only worked on Ghostkinz about 3 days a week so#But for the time I spent I'm quite pleased with how its shaped up so far! :D I got to implement a lot!#Actually learning-then-implementing-then-learning-then-implementing - it's a loop I've been out of for such a long time now :0#Really interesting to fall back into after so long away haha#A lot of my other projects have been Pick Up One Thing and then do that forever and I was tired-tired of that!!#So going into this project knowing that I'd only have November to Get Guud at as much of it as possible and then that was it#I think it helped propel me - didn't end with me getting stuck on Perfecting Just This One Thing#I'd read a bit and then go utilize it and then come back and read some more of Zarla's template/walkthrough - compelling system!#I still couldn't manage to actually finish in a month but I got up to Phase 4!! Previous attempts at Ghost-making has gotten stalled at 1!!#Maaaybe 2 but never anything beyond that - and while I didn't actually Finish any Phase apart from 1 I still read through much much more!#On top of the learning aspect being fun ♪ getting to understand some of the more technical side ahh - it was also just fun to read haha#Like a course that can be silly hehe ♫ Enjoyable even outside of getting to make a little guy for my screen haha#But also yes that too!! I'm really glad I finally settled on an idea that I feel confident in seeing through#The best part about reaching for the Webkinz style is that Webkinz uses vectors - I've gone on record multiple times as loving vectors#They're an exceptionally easy medium to manipulate and that was The Thing that had been holding me back from committing to Ghosts prior#Drawing every single thing when I already struggle to plug in my tablet...no...... But Vectors#You can see here that Diamond's expressions are just a matter of tilting her head and moving her tail - so so soooo simple with vectors#Being able to super-quickly put out a lot of different expressions and animations and piecemeal everything together...yes..........#And for what further I have in mind :3c It's really all I could ask for in an art style to seek ah ♪ Just right for my purposes!#I thought it'd be nice to show off Diamond-for-real as her plush next to her digital version as well :D She's still the only OG8 I have#I want more!! I'd love to have a code for her as well haha - secretly just started this so I can have a digital Diamond lol#Plush-Diamond actually wears a necklace these days but I opted to leave it off her for the photoshoot - maybe once I figure out clothes haha
