The Utena movie is bizarre but beautiful, the mirrored dance sequence in the flooded rose garden especially. I highly recommend looking the scene up on YouTube even if you’re not interested in the movie itself. I fell in love with the anime the first time I watched it in my teens and I still consider it one of my favorites of all time… I think if I watched it for the first time as an adult I might be a little more skeeved out by the themes (not the lgbt themes, that’s not something that should be considered an issue, I’m talking about everything messed up that happens 😂) happening to such young characters, just as a mild warning to anyone who might check it out. I did it~~~ sorry it took way longer than expected. I kept getting bogged down at work - causing me to lose my extra lunch time to work on this. And i wasn't sure what approach I was gonna take. 

But now it's done. and I'll print it and sell it at FanExpo.

Adult Utena brainworms... I wanted to play with the scars. Initially, I was just gonna have her mastectomy look like thorns but then I got carried away, so I might tweak them a little.

Also, I like to think that drawing a sword out of someone's body repeatedly would leave some kind of burn mark or scar or smth

🌹UTENA CHARMS COMPLETE!! 🌹 (Swipe for more!) Here they are! FINALLY finished!! 🤩 Small story about finishing these up: Utena took FOREVER to do! 😩 I was about 87% done with her, when I decided to unplug my comp to work in another room...it shut down my entire computer. Then when I went to reopen the file...it was corrupted! 🤬😭 THANKFULLY I had saved a previous version at about 56% complete and had to work from there. When I was FINALLY finished with that...I hated it! 😫 The painting of her hair was all wrong and so I had to redo that whole thing PLUS the background. Pharah cross Shoujo Kakumei Utena Terminada, el par de Mercy usando el traje de la prometida de la Rosa. Si algunos tonos se ven algo extraños es por que no poseo toda la variedad de colores en casa, y con esta cuarentena menos saldré a exponer a los demás por cosas menores como lápices o plumones, así que mezcle unos cuantos para obtener los tonos más cercanos.
