I decided to finish this song despite only having access to pitches up through C4. I also worked a bit with a spanish speaking friend to clean this up some, but like said on the other demo, this bank is geared for english and welsh so there are some limitations!

So... Arachne -RECLUSE neo- is out! She’s got 6 pitches and she’s got a much more sweet and cutesy tone than her other VBs (and is derived from my actual singing voice, whereas SCORPION is my speaking voice). I made this VB in like a week this summer and just sat on releasing it until now!

Ohhhhh, this collab was a lot of fun. Love the song. As mentioned in my previous post, I am not the biggest fan of Wakana trying to emulate Leo's singing style but then again, if she hadn't, they probably wouldn't have matched so well. And they really do create a lovely harmony, even if it is a bit too high-pitched for my taste at times (that's really just personal preference though, they sound absolutely fine). Needless to say, I am obsessed with the scatting part! Can never resist some solid la-la-las XD So beautiful!

I likely won't be uploading anything to YT this month, so here are some early demos.

Around 2014 or 2015, I deleted the sheet music for Sacrifice, so earlier this year, I went looking through my old files to see if I had anything I could use to reconstruct it. I found all of these (and a few more, but I'll save them for later).

Sacrifice, along with Forgetting Me, Rivalry/Lies, and Decereus' Aria, were part of a larger project called Faceless. Around 2012, I was considering a visual novel, so I wrote some instrumental and character tracks. In 2016, I started working on turning Faceless into a VN...until my computer caught on fire 😅

So these are all the BGM tracks that went into making Sacrifice. They were all written in 2012. The Mystery Girl and the Kitten previously didn't have a WAV or MP3 file, I just exported it from Finale for this post :)

The UTAU used in Sacrifice 2012-2 was one that I recorded when I was 18, but never finished or released. It's the same one used in the Colors demo.

spanish demo! which i think sounds p ok considering i didnt record this with spanish in mind at all! CV-C is supposed to be compatible with english, japanese, tagalog, and spanish but i customise it to feature welsh instead of spanish/tagalog. however ! i still think its decently understandable
