I haven't checked in with Piko since like 2014. There are so many new songs. So many. Holy oh my god. I used to be absolutely obsessed with his music as a preteen. /And/ there's a new Akapiko album coming out in a couple months. I am living like a KING right now I hope you know. ;O;

I'm still trying to get back into normal drawing, durtying the paper... But tonight I really wanted to sketch Piko, as he's my light for 13 years already...

Down here I want to write some thought and things, why rn I'm so thankful to Piko and how his music still helps me 🤧

It's like I wanna start with the fact, that it's around a year since I got tuberculosis.. (according to doctors)

Since October I started my treatment and it's difficult, I had another surgery and I hope to get back to normal life by June, but there are no any forecasts for now(

It's a difficult thing to live with, but because of stereotypes, discrimination and you're alone against the world 🫠 for real, I can say that the pressure is hard and you have to keep struggling and fighting just to be part of society..

And here is the thing that only one thing can make me happy and calm - listening to music, Piko's music! I remember the day Piko and Sekihan performed together, I was preparing for new analyses at the hospital and I started to cry, cry hard, feeling if I'm the happiest person in the world! For the first time in few months I felt the will to fight, I was feeling myself alive... I really don't know, how to describe my emotions, but at very least I was thankful to them! Seeing how they work rn makes me work hard too!

The second thing happened in 2021, it was already hard time for my health, but looking at Piko and his health problems I made myself look forward and be strong! And I got a thing to be strong! Once in my life I got reply from Piko to my question... Idk, I was about to cry, when I saw it... I got advice I use even rn in 2023, leaving one hospital for another. He told me, that you should think about what you'd do, when everythings is over, when you're healthy again... Every day, when I start to feel down again, coz I have pain, problems with ppl, coz some of them does think that I'm not a human anymore, ignor me... I remember these word, I look at that message and start to calm down, get my will to live again... I think there no words to describe, how thankful I am, how just a simple sentence bring me to life again and again...

That was a lot oh my god ahahaha

But, all I want to say, if someone reached this point - stay healthy, take care of your health - it's one and only thing which is important in this life! Remember it!

🌐 Piko is among the few vocaloids who's actually familiar with and has in fact met his voice provider, the two have even somewhat worked on projects together in the past. In addition to this, he's also met a few of the OG Piko's friends. Namely another utaite, Sekihan. And while he feels the man can be... A little much-- "Little" Piko does still enjoy his company, even if it has resulted in quite the batch of nicknames.

🌐 Since sortly after the time he was discontinued from the "retail" side of vocaloid business, Piko has been without the company provided housing most other singers get. And as such had to find a new place for himself... Which, admittedly is something he's still working on. In the meantime, though-- Flower, who he's been friends with for a long while before hand, has let him move into her apartment for as long as need be.

🌐 Despite being mostly just as human-like as many other vocaloids, there are a few things that set Piko further into the android field than most. One of the more obvious being the USB cable "tail" that he can often be seen with, a cable which mainly acts as a means of recharging himself, but can also be used for data transfer if needed. This cable isn't a permanent feature, however, and can in fact be disconnected as Piko likes. Which he does fairly often, but does usually bring it along with him via packing it into whatever bad he's carrying. When in use, it's connected to an otherwise hidden port on his back, fittingly enough where one would expect a tail to go. And from there, plugged into a special adapter he has for use with whatever outlet is available.

🌐 A few other elements that set him apart are as follows-- The faint display overlay which can be caught mixed into his irises when processing data, such as when running through the input for singing vocal parameters. Said display looking like the fluctuating bars of an equalizer-- And in addition to this, the more artificial feel that can sometimes be felt from his joints. As despite being in perfect working order, sometimes they don't move as smoothly as one might expect them to.

🌐 While comfortable and quite sure in his identity as a boy, Piko doesn't let this weight heavily into the way he dresses, and in fact pays zero mind to gender norms when it comes to that. If the clothing is something he likes the look of himself in, then he'll wear it, regardless of how "masc" or "fem" it is. As such, his wardrobe is filled with a range of things, from a few suit-adjacent looks, up to skirts and dresses. In addition to this, Piko's wardrobe is also rather varied in styles. Though a few main ones are Ouji style lolita, athletic wear, Visual Kei-esqe designs, and more "soft" things-- such as slightly over sized hoodies and sweaters.

DISCLAIMER: I tried my hardest to make the Sim look even somewhat like PIKO and I'm lucky that from certain angles it does look a bit like him. It's not the greatest and not an exact carbon copy. If you wanna make further edits to try and make the Sim a closer carbon copy of PIKO, you should be able to do so once you've saved him in the in-game gallery, but if not, use the cheat "cas.fulleditmode on".

i havent been online in a while so a big post to catch up on what i missed

piko has been feeling better and did more twitcasting streams, one of which doesnt seem to be archived sadly.

he has also been rehearsing for summer tour. his cover of love is war was on radio!

he did a live stream on tamachan youtube, its a band piko is in, i forgot to put a link for it in pinned post but now its there. theyve done a few livestreams and covered 2 songs deffinently check it out.

and finally summer tour has began! first performace was on a boat! wow

Happy 10th Anniversary to my favorite voice synthesizer, Utatane Piko!
