I'm catching up on the OSPod and got to the flag question in ep67 (asking Blue what makes a good flag design & he references the new Utah flag), and as an ex-mormon who's lived in Utah, absolutely HILARIOUS (they're right, the beehive is v important to Utah mormon culture, I've seen it in *every* mormon place there, so it being said to be "woke" is amazing 🤣)

Utah wrapped up a flag redesign effort last month, and this was the result. All the entrants were pretty solid, but I have to say the winner here is quite modern and distinctive. This flag will become the official flag of the state on March 9, 2024.

So far in the 2020s, Mississippi, Utah, and Minnesota have redesigned their state flags. Hopefully this starts a trend for other states with less attractive/memorable flags to do the same.

The Peoples and Workers of Crossroads (🐝) is a faction within the United States Commonwealth of Prominence composed of mostly Mormons and other migrating New Canaan residents. They occupy present day Salt Lake City, Kaysville, Farmington, and West Valley. They protect the south border of the U.S. Commonwealth of Prominence, and work closely with the USCOP Enclave Remnant " - to keep Caesar's Legion OUT."
