It was straight out of a movie.

Stumbling college students being far too loud. Bass turned up so high the walls of Gladion’s house shook. But the sound of ping pong balls on tables, cheers of encouragement, and alcohol being downed couldn’t compete with the rattling of the glass bottle. Round and round it went, Moon’s eyes glued to the container as if her life depended on it. Every snicker, every whisper, every snide comment lost on her ears.

This was an event that would either live in infamy or be one for the ages.

And one Moon wouldn’t live down no matter the result.

The glass beginning to slow. Her breath bated.

She didn’t want to admit it—but she had her heart set on where that glass would stop.

It passes Hau, a sigh of relief.

Lillie, who just giggled.

Ilima, looking surprisingly disappointed.

Mallow, watching knowingly.

Kiawe, bored.

Sophocles, a nervous wreck.

Sun, zoned out.

And then it clamored to a halt, gasps filling the small room. Lillie and Hau smiling. Mallow’s small squeal. Ilima’s groan. Her eyes followed the line of vision of the glass and Moon swore Arceus was on her side.

Or at least, partially.

Because even if fate decreed it; Gladion was last person who would ever want to kiss her.

Yes man is a PDQ-88b securitron that was knocked out by Benny from a pulse grenade, stolen, and reprogrammed by Emily Ortal to be a kiss A$#

Yesman is physically incapable of disagreeing and insulting the person he's talking to. Although he is more than capable of doing so if he's talking to someone else, just as long as that person hasn't shown distaste to him doing that. Insults are pretty tame though, as he is physically incapable of sounding like he WANTS you to know he's mad.

Yesman is important in the independent vegas/Wild card ending. You kill Mr, House and upload him into Mr. House's big ol screen where he remains until the final part of the game with the battle of Hoover dam. Where he throws the general of the NCR (I think it's the general? Who cares he's dead now) off the dam, and then reveals that Mr. House had some code that would make him as he says 'more assertive' and that he'll look like he's offline for a non specific amount of time, then just... rolls off

He's name dropped like twice in the slideshow, so it's never explained on.. well F#@%!#$ ANYTHING after he leaves. It almost feels like it got cut from the game? from how oddly specific he went into how he'll be offline and all that, which isn't TOO farfetched considering the deadline for the game

------Analysis------

- Yes man seems aye-OK with killing. He doesn't care about any important people you slaughter, if not happy about it. He is completely unfazed when you say you killed benny, and will only bring him up when talking about the platinum chip and how he has it, or an occasional opinion he had. He has no attachment to his original manufacturer Mr. House unless it's plans to kill him. Honestly he really only cares about having you take over, and shows no genuine attachment for anyone unless they are talking to him (this is a bit of a Grey area, as he only talks to you in game. With ONE line to the general) he's usually thrilled about killing. And is implied to be frustrated that he usually CANT kill people (this part isn't really brought up on, so I it could be wrong. Feel free to have this as a headcanon though)

-Yes man is technically immortal. Whenever the body he occupys is destroyed, he transfers to a new one. If you were to destroy his body before transferring him to the lucky 38 (which is pretty easy as he won't fight back) he will respawn back at the room. I have no clue where he's getting the body's from. As he only learns what the outside looks like when he moves to.. the outside. It's never said how he gets back to the room. You can also use him as a unlimited source of scrap metal!

- It's pretty obvious when he disagrees with you as he gets SUPER passive aggressive. Like, cartoonishly so. To the point where he almost sounds like he's in pain when he does it... which is a lot.

- Although he never outright says he enjoys helping with the wildcard ending (without an added 'whether I want to or not!' Shtick) He gets super passive aggressive if you say anything that would imply that you think it's a dumb idea, (possibly) showing that he thinks this is the superior option to anyone he's talking to. Which I guess makes sense, considering that's what he was reprogrammed for-

- he has a mild lisp. You can faintly hear it wherever he pronounces his 's' (esses? S's? Es's?)

- it's pretty obvious that most of the stuff he says to people are only the opinions the person he's talking to would be happy about, but there are parts where his reprogramming is ingraved into him. For instance he states he feels annoying whenever he needs to repeat himself. So when he has the ability to. We will give you a note to re-explain whatever you wanted:

"Have I told you lately that you’re my favorite person? You are!

The reason I gave you this print-out is I wanted to remind you about that bunker Mr. House built over at Fortification Hill. I was going to say something out loud, but then I felt self-conscious, because I feel really ANNOYING when I repeat myself!

Imagine how powerful they’d be if you upgraded them with the Mark II OS!

When the Legion attacks Hoover Dam, you could sic your army on them! And who deserves to have an army more than you? No one!

Plus an army of upgraded Securitrons would be just the thing to show the NCR that you mean business! Go away and stay away, NCR!

The thing is - and I really HATE admitting this - I can’t upgrade the Securitrons over at the Fort from here in the Lucky 38... I can’t establish a reliable connection, and I’m sure it’s all my fault somehow.

But if you took the Platinum Chip to the Fort, you could perform the upgrade yourself. Just a suggestion!

-No matter what you do, or what you say, he will always stay at neutral 50 as his opinion on you in game. It's really up to your fantasies on how he feels on your character (Weirdo)

10/10. I've had multiple occasions of me looking at media of him for so long that when I closed my eyes that goofy face has burned into my optical sensors. Although I can never look at Dave Foley the same, and get jumpscared whenever he shows up in ANYTHING

prolonged mental or physical stress causes weakness and fatigue which eventually allows the parasitic unown to begin to grow and become superficial, but it doesnt kill him instantly. it takes a while for him to experience any intense effects because his body is completely dependent on the parasites to even be held together. Even if the unown were eating the entirely of his right side, he wouldn't be dead yet.

despite this, the open wound creates a hole for the parasites to escape his body and infest areas. if he dies (whether its because the parasites have completely eaten the rest of his body or gets killed through other ways) the area needs to be quarantined because the parasites begin to infest the space and live within walls. it would cause another rift and begin an outbreak where ever he dies so that it can continue spreading.

The parasites are not harmful as only themselves. They're not able to be caught in a pokeball like other pokemon because they don't have the ability to become small, only merge into objects and sprout eyes if the material they've homed themselves in is soft enough. Their purpose is to be an eye to giratina, who is frenzied and looking for any way to get rid of the pain and power bestowed upon her. These unown can only enter injured bodies and often avoid entering bodies unless the body is likely to die soon.

If they get strong enough to break through his skin, he will get weaker and weaker until he is completely eaten alive and discarded as a host. These pokemon can only spread through rifts. The death of a host is able to spark a new rift.

There is a way to get rid of them from the body, but it has the possibility of killing the host due to the strain it puts on the body for an extended period of time. This method is mentioned and utilised only in the events of ESS.

for living hosts like ESS!Shiro and ESS!Aurora, the parasites can become dormant through training. for hosts with active parasites like DempuCogs!Shiro, they usually receive a service pokemon with ghost type moves to kill the strong ones and help keep the host content and prevent episodes.

The eyes that sprout on skin must stay covered.

3: 'Salt'

Typically, the symbol for salt's line ends even with the circle, but there are several instances where it extends further. This same symbol can also be used for 'Sulfur' and 'Spirit of Wine', as well.

4: 'A Year'

…I really think I can just leave that without anything further.

5: Repeating #2

Once again, I am still not entirely certain what this one is and it's rapidly becoming the bane of my existence.

Extra:

The added bits on the curve of 'precipitate' could be a stylization choice - If it creates another symbol, I haven't been able to locate it as of yet.

'Tin' is a close contender, but the main bar of the symbol usually passes through the circle near the end when this variation is drawn. I'll save the explanation on tin's uses for 'Sugar' since it's relevant and more obvious there. 'White Vitriol' (zinc sulfate) is another possibility (and functions as a coagulant).

It would require some stylization, but we also have 'Magnesia' as an option.

Magnesia was one of the components of the Philosopher's Stone and "In the more modern sense of the word, it is thought to have originated from 'magnes carneus', which means 'flesh magnet' from the way it stuck strongly to the lips." Is that important? Doubt it, but it made me giggle.

'Half Liter' doesn't seem applicable, but it is sort of there. It could be a stylized drawing of 'Furnace' - While it typically has an extra circle on the end of the hook rather than a line, it's close enough to point out. In the same vein, it could be 'Cupellation' which is the process of removing impurities from gold or silver via blasts at high temperatures. Last of all, in the realm of similar-ish symbols, is a version of 'Dead Head'/'Death'. This only works if you take the outer section of the main crossbar with it.

2:, 3:, & 4: 'Honey' - 'Furnace' - 'Rust'

I don't think any of those need further notes.

5: 'Common Oil'

Usually it pertains to olive oil.

6: 'Iron' - Variation

(Rotated) To be clear, phlegm in alchemy was a watery distillation of plant matter rather than something you're hacking up from your lungs because you chain smoked 8 cigarettes while hiding under the back porch and didn't contemplate that the smoke might give you away... You could also view it through the lenses of The Humors which would put it as "cold/moist" and the cause of lethargy and apathy.

Extra:

This is actually the one that started all of this because I wanted a tattoo of it, but I am wary of embedding things into my dermis that I don't know the full meaning of. So, now I guess once I order some more ink, I get to stabby-stab it into my skinsuit. I may not know for one-hundred percent certain, but I feel good enough about it to plant ink now.

Honorary Mention: 'Musical Gold' can be formed by taking #4 and adding the center circle while removing the end bars of the crossbar. 'Hot Copper' can be made by combining #8 and #9

It almost feels like a cop-out to just say 'Fire' at this point, but let's be real - That's there and it's the elemental symbol for fire.

2: Repeating #1

Can I have a word with whoever made these? Just a word. I promise. Please. I am safe and can be trusted.

This time around, there is no intersection with a closed symbol, so that knocks out my theory for smoke/fumes use here. The hooks are also mirrored which makes my head hurt in trying to further narrow it down. Are we going back to the layered symbol idea? If so, then they're 'Day' again on the bottom half. They could also be 'White Arsenic' again or 'Borax'. We already covered white arsenic in 'Levitate', so let's do a quick rundown on borax:

The most common use for that, at the moment, is as a cleaning agent, but - thank you, years acting as a forge assistant - borax can be used as a welding flux and for alchemy it was utilized for forge brazing (helps keep the welded iron or steel from overheating and assists with preventing oxidation within the weld).

Could it also be a variation for 'Living Silver'? Yeah, probably. Don't ask me the fuck that means in this context, though.

3: 'Lime'

Covered in TNDNBTG. Though this could also be 'Mars',  I lean more towards lime for both style and context.

4: V

V's have a lot of uses and variations: 'Wine', 'Water', 'Alive', 'Vapor', 'Bath', and 'Copper' as some of the most common. This one is on y'all to pick what you want to go with if you regard it as a standard V shape.

With the addition of the circle, however, you get 'Filtare' or 'To Filter'.

Extra:

If you want to take #3 and add the circle, then you could have a possible planetary symbol - i mean, Could it be Pluto? Sure. While Pluto normally has a cross at the base rather than a straight line, there's a reasonable doubt there that it could be a variation. In modern alchemy, pluto is used for Plutonium.

1: 'Dead Head'

Yeah, are we really going to even pretend to be surprised here?

The other term for this is 'Worthless Remains'. It's the "epitome of decline and decay" and consists of the residue left from sublimation or distillation. There's a certain, delightful irony here that it became very popular as a pigment for painting religious figures' robes and earned the name Cardinal Purple.

There are other ways this symbol is used - 'Fermentation' and 'Materia Prima' feel worth mentioning. Honestly, Prime Matter might be the primary use of it in this sigil, but I'm calling it as ‘dead head’ for the Vibes.

2: 'Salt' (common)

As singular symbols, mirroring one another and flipped vertically.

If you piece the two together, back to back, then i haven't the faintest clue what they could be. The closest i could find to that symbol isn't exactly related to alchemy (but then again, we've been shuffling around between the protoscientific and spiritualist sides of it anyway) and is related to Jesus Christ. So...hm.

A similar symbol is used for 'To Pour', but it typically has an extra squiggly bit.

3: 'Gem Salt'

Why would there be two salts?

The difference is between crystallized salt and mined salt. This one looks clear, but -gestures to the image-.

Yes, I realize I didn't highlight the triangle and that's 100% because it confuses me. The positioning, the skewed angle...i don't feel comfortable calling it an element symbol, but i also have no guesses for what else it might be. This one is so simple that it has to be deceptive and I know I'm missing things. The hunt continues.

Sim, eu percebo que não destaquei o triângulo e isso é 100% porque ele me confunde. O posicionamento, o ângulo inclinado... eu não me sinto confortável em chamá-lo de símbolo elemental, mas também não tenho palpites para o que mais poderia ser. Esse é tão simples que deve ser enganoso, e eu sei que estou perdendo algo. A busca continua.

1: 'Tin' / 'Jupiter'

In order for this one to work, it needs to be rotated, but I don't see that as an issue here, especially. In alchemy, tin was associated with several things including the tongue and saliva (yeah, that feels relevant with this song) along with the more symbolic meaning of growth.

2: 'Lead'

The Prima Matera ('primal material' or base material) of alchemy. The classic idea of turning lead into gold in alchemy is not one I think I need to spend any time on here.

"The tragic element in poetry is like Saturn in alchemy - the Malevolent, the Destroyer of Nature; but without it, no true Aurum Potabile, or Elixir of Life, can be made." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

3: 'Volatile'

Flipped horizontal to work.

'Volatile' generally meant changeable. Volatile spirits are also often referred to as 'airy' due to primarily being substances that turn into vapor.

In alchemical drawings, winged serpents were used to represent volatile substances (I'm pointing that out since the video for 'Sugar' does feature a snake), but angels were often used as well. There is an entire rabbit hole you can fall down here with the symbolism use for volatile spirits.

The next two might not actually be there - I lean towards them being created by overlap rather than intent.

4: ‘Fire’ or ‘Phlegm’

Honorary Mention because while triangles often got skewed one way or another depending on the writer, certain skews turned them into different symbols altogether.  So you could have a symbol for 'Fire' here or you could just as easily have a flipped/rotated symbol for 'Phlegm' (check 'Take Aim').

5: 'Day'

This is one of those variations that I have only seen once, but since it's sort of there, I'm pointing it out.

Extra: There is possibly (yeah, no there is absolutely) one or two symbols missing here. 'Lead' in that configuration can be drawn with the extra hook, but it isn't very common, so there may be a symbol layered in that section which I'm overlooking.

If you want to add the diamond to the skewed triangle and flip it vertically, then you have a close approximation to 'Salt Water'. A hollow diamond can also be used for several things on its own, including 'Soap', 'Brass', and 'Glass'.

Let's get the tricky one out of the way first. This could be two things if it's one of the rotated symbols i mentioned at the start:

'Empyreumaticum' aka empyreumatic - adj. :

"being or having an odor of burnt organic matter as a result of decomposition at high temperatures"

For alchemy, this was usually referring to 'Oil of Brick' (it's one of the most common empyreumatic oils to get) and was obtained by soaking a brick in an oil (such olive oil) and then extracting it via distillation at extreme temperatures. This had medicinal uses, but more interesting is the fact it was used as a lubricant for cutting stones and gems.

The other option is 'Sugar'- Which I don't really need to explain further.

Both of these require the symbol to be rotated 90 degrees. If we take it as vertical from the start, the only option I can find to fit would be 'Populous'. 'Fat' is also similar, but...eh.

2: 'Iron'

This is one of the many, many versions for iron and does have a little bit of stylization going on, but it's still obvious. You can check back on ‘Dark Signs' for its meaning.

3: 'Rock Salt'

(in some contexts 'The Consistency of Rock Salt') or 'Stagnation' OR 'Glass'. Each is interesting within the context of the song, so perhaps it's all three. Up to y'all.

4th option being there is no extra symbol there and i've just been staring at this shit way too long.

4: 'Night'

There are a multitude of ways to write both night and day, I'm leaning towards that for these based, again, on context.

5: Which would put this one as 'Day'.

However, I also want to point out that this one could just as easily be 'Borax' (check back on ‘Give' for that explanation, if you want).

1: 'Wax'

If the spokes were a bit longer, it might have been either 'Tree Oil' or 'Hematite Stone', but I think the safer bet is to keep it as wax. If you knock off the top and left spokes, then you have something very close to 'White Arsenic', but again the spokes are too short for me to call it that.

2: ‘Niter’

This one could be 'Niter' (potassium nitrate) or 'Soda Ash' (sodium carbonate) - The symbol has been used for both. i'm going with niter here for "The Cask of Amontillado" reference and I'll let enotes sum that up real quick to save space (and prevent me from rambling any further):

As Fortunato is led deeper into the catacombs of Montresor's family, the niter increases. Montresor has premeditated the murder of Fortunato, and he plays with his victim the way a cat sometimes plays with its prey before killing it. Montresor is pretending to be concerned with Fortunato's health when the truth is that he has absolutely no regard for Fortunato. The symbolic meaning of the niter is that Fortunato is being led further into Montresor's web, just like the web-like niter on the walls is increasing.

3: Double

This arrangement of dots most often goes with 'Oil' or, more specifically, 'Oil of Tartar'. However, when you flip it vertically, it becomes the symbol for 'Flint Stone' (among others*). The combination of the two has some interesting implications, really.

If you take only the outermost dots in the 4 point configuration, then you have 'Essential Oil'. I don't think that plays into it, but once again trying to cover the possibilities.

Extra:

If you want to go looking for more layered symbols, then you can knock out the bottom spoke of 'Wax', plus remove the end lines, then you're left with the symbol for 'Body' or 'Spirit'.

The Majhen Council

'Majhen' in High Dracondia means 'small', so to refer to this as still the 'Small Council' is an acceptable practice. The Majhen Council is a gathering of lords across Dracondia Scre, helps & advises the ruling sovereign (in this case, The Dragonlord) of the before mentioned country. Members are appointed to their position by the Dragonlord & they can also be dismissed from their position by the Dragonlord; however doing so might lead to political fallout, so electing someone to a seat on the Majhen Council usually involves extensive thought & a measure of trust in the candidate.

The Dragonlord serves as the head of the council & takes note of its recommendations, but only the Dragonlord can make the council's decisions into law. The Hand of the Dragonlord is the leading advisor on the council & serves as the ruling sovereign's proxy when he/she is not present, in which case the Hand leads the meeting. The Hand can not dismiss a member of the Majhen Council from their position, only the ruling sovereign can. If the Dragonlord is a minor, then by default he appointed regent will act in place of the Dragonlord on the council(however The Hand of the Dragonlord holds to power to bar the regent from meetings).

The Majhen Council usually consists of eight non-hereditary positions, it is of no secret that dragonriders are often favored to hold these positions, so it has been made a rule that the Dragonlord can have no more then one Dragonrider from each noble dragonriding family on the Majhen Council; including the royal house(not counting themselves of course). It is this rule that has allowed the Alanwall Family to rise to favor with the royal family, as a member of it's house has often served as the Master of Coin since the founding of the Majhen Council. In the same way that House Black has stayed close to the royal house, as a member of it's family has also served as Master of Ships since the council's founding.

The council holds it's meetings in the Royal Castle at Dragonlord's Rest, Dracon Steni Castle. As thus, members of the Majhen Council are often housed within the royal castle's walls, though they are free to leave the royal resident to stay at other homes they have(such as their house's seat of power castle or vacation palaces).

The Dragonlord may on occasion extend invitations to other lords to be present for council meetings, such as allowing the Lord Commander of the Royal Bodyguards to be present, allowing the Dragon Heir(ess) to take part in discussions to prepare them for rulership, or even selecting a person of favor to be the cup barer for the council. In the event of a member of the council being unable to attend a meeting, they may send a 'temporary ward' to stand in for them(the rest of the council holds to the right to bar the ward from being present however).

Positions of the Majhen Council are thus -

Hand of the Dragonlord: The ruling Sovereign's Head Advisor. Leads the Council & serves as the Dragonlord's proxy during his/her absences. Historically, pervious Hands have been close friends or even family of the Dragonlord.

Master of War: the realm's chief military advisor, particularly in regards to land-based warfare.

Master of Ships: the realm's chief naval officer, supervising the royal fleet & coordinating the realm's maritime defenses.

Master of Coin: the realm's chief treasurer & bookkeeper

Master of Whisperers: the realm's chief intelligence advisor & spymaster, supervising covert activities & information gathering.

Master of Law: the realm's chief legal advisor, they also manage the capital's dungeons, & supervises law enforcement. Masters of Law must live in or be neighbors to the capital state to have proper overseeing of the dungeons.

Master of Borders: the realm's chief overseer of the borders & trade, thus the one who holds the most sway over who & what may enter the country. This position did not exist before Dracondia Scre invoked it's isolationists ideals. Historically, pervious Masters of Borders have lived in a state that has a border with the Suncast Wide Sea(the name of the ocean that surrounds Dracondia Scre).

Grand Maester: the maester assigned to Dracon Steni Castle, & thus to the realm. They also are the overseer of religious ceremonies(such as weddings) & lead the nation in mass prayer on holy holidays. The grand maester can only be selected from already positioned maesters within the Faith of Zmajev Bog.

Roles

In this post I will not only explain the roles of Wiccan clergy and ritual participants, but also explore how sexual orientation and gender identity can sometimes affect these roles.

🔮 Role of Clergy

There is a difference between being a Priest/ess and a High Priest/ess. Every Wiccan is a Priest (P) or Priestess (PS) to the Gods, but in many Traditionalist settings, only those who have taken on the role, honor, and responsibility as Coven leader and teacher may be called High Priest/ess.

And what are those responsibilities? Well, what is the ideal role of a parent? To see that their child grows to happy healthy adulthood, with a strong sense of self but also of familial identity. So, the High Priest (HP) and High Priestess (HPS) hope to see to the continuation of the Tradition by passing it down to their Initiates, to teach the Tradition’s ways of ritual and practice, to facilitate the spiritual growth and advancement of their students so that they too may one day take on the mantle of HP/S. In this way (among others) do the HP and HPS serve the Gods that the Tradition reveres.

The P and PS of any ritual, Traditional/Oathbound or not, are also the representatives of the God and Goddess on this plane of existence. They are responsible for acting with Divine Will. They perform most of the physical actions of Casting the Circle, and leading and directing the ritual. In very large groups, or very small spaces, they may ask participants to assist, usually before the ritual begins so no one is blindsided by the request.

Some (H)P/Ss choose to become legally ordained, but this is rarely, if ever, a Coven requirement. However, legal ordination then empowers the (H)P/S to legally perform weddings, funerals, and other rites of passage that require such an officer.

🔮 Role of Initiates and Other Participants

In the most general terms, participants in any rite are there to lend their presence and energy to the work at hand, whether that is welcoming a season or sending healing to someone who is ill. Initiates of a Coven are also there to learn the Tradition’s specific ways of ritual, etc..

It is important to further note that even though these other participants may not be acting as the (H)P/S in a particular rite, that does not mean they are laity; there are no bystanders in Wicca. Everyone is an active participant, in terms of their presence and energy adding potency and strength to the rite, if not more directly by performing a part of the ritual themselves if asked to do so.

Members of established groups are often asked to contribute food to drink to feasting, and help defer costs of materials like candles and incense, by donating money or the items themselves. However, there should be no charge for the actual learning, whether the payment is monetary or servitude.

🔮 Regarding Gender and Sexuality

One’s personal sexual orientation or gender identity/expression has NO bearing on whether one may be Wiccan, so long as one has the ability to see worth in, and at the very least, understand and respect the symbolism of heterosexual pairings; that is, the coming together of different pieces to create a balanced whole. Some Coven/group leaders may insist that whether one can act as a Priest or a Priestess is determined by external/physical sex rather than gender identity/expression, but that is something that varies between Covens/groups and is usually determined on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, a group or teacher may be comfortable with not anthropomorphizing the Gods. They may simply use the balances of light vs. dark, Summer vs. Winter, life vs. death, etc., without naming known Gods specifically, and instead identifying Them with concepts rather than gender or even names. They may be willing to adjust some ritual symbolism away from the heterocentric as well. One suggestion from Yvonne Aburrow, a Gardnerian Initate and author, is calling Them, “the Lover and the Beloved.” This removes gender, but maintains the idea that this is an intimate pairing.

If you identify outside the traditional gender binary and/or feel your Queer orientation is in conflict with Wiccan symbolism, but still wish to practice with a group, honesty with potential groups and establishing an open dialogue on the topic is highly recommended. Some established Covens/groups will work to accommodate you by adjusting their practices and symbolism, others will not. Some view it as akin to a person walking into a synagogue and stating they want to be Jewish, but then asking the Rabbi to perform the Christian Communion sacrament, lead Zen Buddhist meditation sessions, and build a Native sweat lodge in the parking lot. The Jewish religion is an established one, with codified practices and symbolism that define and differentiate it from other paths. For some, Wicca is the same way. But one cannot know unless one asks, so this is where open and honest communication is vital.

On the reverse side of that opinion, though, in one of Gardner’s own books, he discussed the practice of a woman acting as the Priest when one wasn’t available. He believed that a woman can “switch roles” and/or “do double duty” when needed, and serve as both Priest and Priestess at the same time, their gender identity/expression and physical sex being no barrier to their ability to perform the rites. This, to me, speaks to trans and non-binary people having a very real place in Wicca. Gardner also talked about this situation as rendering the Priestess “bi-sexual,” which he meant as having more than one gender/sex. This to me not only supports trans and non-binary people as mentioned, but is also approaching the inclusion of those who are intersex. Additionally, having a woman serve as Priest, dissolves some of the heterocentricity out of necessity. These, however, are again only my opinions and interpretations, and I’m not claiming that I know Gardner’s thoughts or intentions.

A girls-only school is highly prestigious and praised, only families from the upper class of society can afford to take their daughters to attend such a school; this is the initial setting of the story. Ever since the first versions of the story in my head, I wanted the beginning of the story to take place in a (stereotype of) girls-only school, not only because it adds a bit to the story, but also because I always thought Nijigasaki school was quite "rich"! Since it is a very prestigious school, I decided that the navy blue color could best indicate this, since it gives off a "rich" color vibe (although I admit that the first colors thought of were wine and pink). The light yellow parts provide a contrast that I really liked, along with the school crest that seems to be in gold on the coat. As for the design, there is not much to say, it is what I think of when they talk about a school for girls only, although I admit that this stereotype comes from the animes and mangas that I read and watch.

Since it is a very demanding school, there are few loopholes for you to be able to "customize" the uniforms - unlike the original Nijigasaki uniform; In addition to the mandatory pieces (coat, skirt, yellow bowtie and a long-sleeved shirt that must be white), the skirt must be below the knee and above the heel and a pair of dark-colored shoes (usually brown). And there are no variables for different years! Unlike Nijigasaki as well...

The only "variables" are the opened coat(which Mia and Ai wear) or the oversized coat (which Rina, Kasumi and Kanata wear). The rest of the characters wear the uniform in the "default" way.

Trivia: The name of the school came from its founder who was French, a piece of lore that my friend invented (she was the one who gave the name to the school)
