This means rescue services and ranger stations and visitor centers and trash pickup and restroom cleaning and so much more have been suspended or severely limited. . If you’ve planned a visit to a National Park or other federal lands PLEASE read these suggestions from Leave No Trace @leavenotracecenter . . It is important. . This affects a lot of my plans to visit federal lands and national parks from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Coast, including bird sanctuaries, Big Bend NP, White Sands NM, and more. . I’m a strict pack-it-in, pack-it-out and leave-it-better-than-you-found-it guy, and am more prepared than many to have no impact when I camp and go backcountry, but will be seeking alternatives. .
