So, Hiiragi, Niko and Zantetsu lost.

And we all can correctly predict that it was Zantetsu that was chosen—it was a surprise for me to be honest. I mean, the Nagi trio already had Chigiri with them, so picking up another speed-based player confused me a bit. I have only read that Manga superficially, so I can't say much about Hiiragi but I do think that he was a real good player.

All in all, Niko seemed like a better choice, but I guess we'll get to know why Zantetsu got chosen. Maybe Nagi got nostalgic or something? Lol.

Now, there are 4 members in the Team, and in the match, we'll have Kiyora. Why? Because firstly, Nagi's team was the SECOND team in the second selection to have completed it, so it makes sense that they win again 'cause if they were to lose, then there would make THREE matches in total and that'll delay things, you know.

So now, who is going to be with Kiyora?

An easy prediction is: Karasu, Otoya and Yukimiya.

This prediction makes sense since this trio was the THIRD group to have completed the second selection.

BUT!

These three already have character developments further in the manga, you know. I think, Kaneshiro-san will use Nagi Spin-off as a chance to showcase other side characters like Hiiragi, low-key, came into the table seemingly out of nowhere.

Bro looks so fucking rad! I mean, his character is too fucking pretty to just be a side character, so I think he could be with Kiyora because that way he'd be in the limelight. Honestly, I want more of him, he is just too gorgeous.

Team: Third with Karasu, Otoya, Yukimiya.

He was present during the match where Shidou got electrocuted and he had some lines too. Idk why but he just seems like a character too good to be thrown out without any screentime.

Team: Fifth with Niko and Hiori.

He actually has a fair amount of details like he is a surfer and is considered pretty intimidating looking by his peers. He was against Isagi, Rin and Shidou during the tryouts too. Would love to see more of him.

6. Ishikari Yukio

Team: Fifth with Niko and Hiori.

Tall af—bro is like 2 metres tall. He was one of those characters about whom something was spoken in the JFU building by Isagi or Kira Idk I don't remember. He had lines too and gave a head pass in a match too.

Looks chill af tho.

7. Nishioka Hajime

Team: Fifth with Hiori and Niko.

He seems like the most probable option because Aomori's Messi, you know. Bro is low-key a meme material in the Fandom tbh.

It seems like the perfect time to showcase his talent which has been hyped up till now. Further, do you remember that Barou, Naruhaya and Nishioka had teamed up and they lost and then Nishi was chosen? What if the choosing team had Kiyora in it?

So it makes perfect sense for Barou to hold a grudge with Kiyora for choosing someone else over him. To add more spice, what if Kiyora had said some outrageous stuffs to Barou? Makes sense!

8. Shiguma Kyohei

Team: Sixth with Raichi, Gagamaru and Wanima.

He is canonically a reserved person—that additional time with Chigiri + Saramadara + him. A gentle giant. His character design doesn't stand out much tho. Also, mathematically, two person with that much Team number difference seems really taxing, but I can't say much since Kurona had a rank of 4 too and yet he was in the last team.

9. Tanaka Shingen

Team: Sixth with Raichi, Gagamaru and Wanima.

Appeared in an additional time and in that Blue Lock Bible or something, he was ranked as one of the least appealing boys to girls too.

He seems close to Gagamaru tho.

10. Sokura Tetsu

Team: Seventh with Shidou, Reo, Igarashi and Kurona.

Can't seem to be able to add his pic but he seems rather.. plain looking. That's all. I don't remember him in any panels at all too.

candy corn – what cute/corny/cheesy nicknames do you use for each other?

haruka gets called whatever flies out of my mouth first 😭 haru, kitten, cutie mcsnooty, pumpkin pie, baby, baby boy, The Baby (when hajime and i speak as tho he is our infant son), etc. hajime sticks to saying his name most of the time but often cannot resist calling him “pretty boy” or something else that makes haruka blush like crazy!!!

hajime is haji, haj, big boy, sunshine, sweetie pie man, ume, ducky, etc. while haruka barely says anyone’s name at all (but that changes over time and when he’s feeling soft <3)

hajime definitely calls me kiki (i am called this irl by my mother—he picks it up from her) and haruka eventually catches on to it against his will. over time haruka also starts trying to slip in little things like “gorgeous” or “sweetheart” or any other little things that umemiya says, but it’s often over text and he’s kinda awkward and fmfjdkkdkd it’s cute tho. he’s not used to it but he’s trying because it sounds so nice when umemiya says it.

twix – in what ways do you complement each other?

ahhh good question!!! so sakura is a little bit more “in the moment” while ume and i can be a tad more up in our heads thinking about possibilities and whatnot sometimes (a sensor vs. two intuitives lmao) but haji’s more in the middle, so it weighs things out pretty well between the three of us depending on the situation.

for example, we could be at the beach and hajime and i would be talking like crazy like “omg isn’t the ocean fascinating whales are amazing wow we should go to the aquarium there’s one nearby let’s go after this!!!!!” meanwhile sakura is just pointing out in the distance like “there’s literally a whale right fucking there” and we’re all 😲😲😲

also, i bring logic to the dynamic while the other two are more centered around feelings and values. we all teach each other how to utilize both things to make decisions and to also understand and relate to others more effectively.

hajime is the people person who smooths over the rough edges that sakura and i have. i think i have pretty good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude but i’m prone to getting overwhelmed and irritated by others after a while, and sakura is similar. we make up for haruka’s stiltedness in social situations, but whenever i’m burnt out or uncomfortable, hajime knows how to wrap it all up in a neat little bow and see that everyone’s happy.

there’s surely more i could go on about forever, but yeah haha i’ll stop there!!!

Anne Cordelia Shirley Cuthbert (Awae) was an orphan girl mistakenly placed in the Cuthbert's siblings' house. They decided to keep her and raise her.

Anne of Green Gables (books and movies) and Anne with an E are different in forms but not in essence.

The canadian movies' adaptation are closer to the books' story : a slice of life about a girl finding a family and friends and making her way into the world. It is light-hearted (until book 4 I think ? And 3rd movie), cozy and reassuring (okay Matthew and Ruby die but I swear the story is still very wholesome). I stopped at book 3 tho bc book 4 is about Anne after college and I'm not done with my cursus studies yet and I need to parallel her story, it feels right to walk together on the path of life or whatever

What makes me say Anne stays Anne throughout adaptations is the fact I can identify to Anne with an E, Anne of Green Gables movie and Anne of Green Gables book

•Anne with an E was my very first adaptation of Anne I saw, (back in 2020 covid first quarantine in the country I live in) and I got OBSESSED. This Anne is passionate about books, stories, writing, nature, collecting things on the floor and magic in mondain. She has a sharp moral compass and is always ready to defend social causes she considers important. The only difference between us is that she is as extroverted as I am introverted. But I admired the way she would leave a mark on all the minds of people she met. Also I was a hot-headed teen once too and was pretty much subject to strong emotional releases. Turns out I was autistic all along and Anne is very autistic coded too so it made me happy to share another feature with her kcjdjdkd (also Amybeth McNulty did an amazing job as Anne🌸)

•I think book Anne was my second representation. A new edition was coming out and the covers were too gorgeous to not buy them. Also I wanted to read the books so much since I hyperfixated on the show for a long time. I read book 1 in one night, sobbing by the end at 3 in the morning bc Matthew died (it was awful I was shaking). I then read to the 3rd book, and seeing very emotional Anne becoming calmer, getting a scolarship, fighting for her education even when she was struggling with money, working with kids, making it to college, renting a house with her friends and working on the side made me feel SO SEEN. I officially started working at 15 and never stopped until I was 21. I worked in a fast food, then with kids. My family doesn't have a lot of money so I had to handle myself most of the time, with scolarships, my savings and random babysittings, especially when I started my art school journey. That's why I want to read the 4th book once I finish my cursus. Cause we're so similar I want to keep this feeling of walking side by side.

•Anne from the movies is a cutie. She's a bit sillier than Awae but the core remains. She's a hot-headed red head full of dreams and ambitions, who's following her heart whenever it is possible. Then comes the war but her determination remains. She is strong, she is goal oriented and she gets over the obstacles on her way, helped by her two arms and solid shoulders. I like to imagine that's how I've been until now, a fighter.

Of course, other characters are lovely but Anne will remain the little girl I was and hopefully, the determined woman I could become 🌸

My father watched Anne with an E, he cried all of season 3 and said Anne reminded him of my sister and I and that was probably the nicest thing he could have said about me ever

Not us both reading up about hobipalooza on Reddit to prep for skzlolla LMAOOOO I am on Reddit like it’s a full time job I swear I’m simultaneously so excited but SOOO NERVOUSSSSS 😭 I’m just hoping I get to see them even the tiniest amount from whatever spot I get but I’m also way too scared of crowd crushing to camp out or anything !

Agreeeeed about their outfits! Apparently Tommy Hilfiger was the most talked about designer of the night (thanks to skz of course) so it’s unfortunate the outfits were a little underwhelming but they still looked fucking fantastic. I will NEVERRRR GET OVER FELIX….. he straight up looks like Legolas was pulled from lotr and put on the red carpet. The little braids in his hair too !!!!! I’m so glad they’re doing interesting things with his hair while it’s this long. Overall not my favorite red carpet looks of theirs but I am beyondddd proud of them 🫶
