Oliver Willis at Daily Kos:
Billionaire Trump donor Elon Musk and Trump’s travel partner and conservative activist Laura Loomer, who has embraced and promoted a host of racist notions, are in a public feud about immigration. The argument has received support on both sides, exposing another early division in the MAGA coalition.
The dispute began after Loomer complained on X about Donald Trump’s decision to name Sriram Krishnan adviser of AI in his upcoming administration. Loomer quoted a post in which Krishnan advocated for removing green card per-country caps for skilled immigrants. “It’s alarming to see the number of career leftists who are now being appointed to serve in Trump’s admin when they share views that are in direct opposition to Trump’s America First agenda,” she said. Loomer, who has described herself as an “Islamophobe” who supports “pro-white nationalism,” went on to describe Krishnan and others like him as advocates for foreign students coming to the United States to “take jobs that should be given to American STEM students.”
Later, Musk argued in favor of providing more visas to tech workers while responding to an X user expressing sympathy with Loomer’s position. “The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low,” he said. Responding to another X user calling for a more restrictive visa policy, Musk said, “Your understanding of the situation is upside-down and backwards,” arguing that there is a “dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America.”
Vivek Ramaswamy, who Trump named co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency along with Musk, chimed in to argue that “American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long.” “A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers,” he said. [...] After Loomer’s X account was reportedly suspended and her ability to recruit subscribers limited, she alleged that Musk made the changes in retaliation to her criticisms of Krishnan and Trump backers in the tech industry who support bringing in more immigrant workers.
[...] The feud has exposed a schism between two of the key groups of the Trump constituency: anti-immigrant racists and billionaire tech executives who seek to cut spending on social good while pushing tax cuts for the wealthy.
MAGA-on-MAGA violence between the Musk/Ramaswamy/Tech Bros faction and the Loomer faction has brewed over H1B Visas and immigration more generally.

Step-by-Step Guide to Applying for a USA Student Visa

Planning to study in the USA? Obtaining a USA student visa is a crucial step in making your dream a reality. However, the process can be challenging, with many students facing delays or rejections due to errors or incomplete applications.
With the right preparation and expert guidance from USA Student Visa Expert in Ahmedabad, you can successfully navigate the visa process. This step-by-step guide will help you understand the requirements and avoid common mistakes.
Step 1: Get Admission & Receive Your I-20
Before applying for your visa, you need to secure admission to a SEVP-approved U.S. institution. Once accepted, your university will issue an I-20 form, which is a key document for your visa application.
Tip: Double-check all the details on your I-20 to ensure accuracy.
Step 2: Pay the SEVIS Fee
The SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) fee must be paid before you apply for your visa. This fee helps maintain your student record in the U.S. immigration system.
Keep the payment receipt as you will need it for your visa interview.
Step 3: Complete the DS-160 Form
The DS-160 is the online visa application form that must be filled out accurately. Any mistakes can lead to delays or rejections. If you are unsure about filling it out correctly, seeking assistance from USA Student Visa Expert in Ahmedabad can help.
Make sure all the information matches your passport and I-20 form.
Review your responses before submitting.
Step 4: Schedule Your Visa Interview
After submitting the DS-160 form, schedule your visa appointment at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Visa slots fill up fast, so book your interview as soon as possible.
Tip: Check for early morning slots as they usually have shorter wait times.
Step 5: Gather Your Visa Documents
To avoid any issues at your visa interview, prepare the following required documents:
Mandatory Documents:
Valid passport (valid for at least six months beyond your stay)
I-20 form issued by your university
DS-160 confirmation page
Visa appointment confirmation letter
SEVIS fee payment receipt
Financial proof (bank statements, sponsorship letters, scholarship documents)
Academic transcripts and test scores (GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
Having all your documents organized will help make your visa interview stress-free.
Step 6: Prepare for Your Visa Interview
The visa interview is the most critical part of the process. The interviewer will assess your study plans, financial stability, and ties to your home country.
How to Prepare:
Be confident and practice common visa interview questions.
Clearly explain why you chose the USA and your specific university.
Show financial stability and strong home ties to prove you will return after your studies.
Many students opt for mock interview sessions with USA Student Visa Expert in Ahmedabad to boost their confidence.
Step 7: Attend Your Visa Interview
On the day of your interview:
Arrive early at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Dress formally and maintain a positive attitude.
Answer the officer’s questions clearly and truthfully.
Stay calm and confident throughout the process.
If approved, your passport will be returned with the visa stamp in a few days.
Step 8: Prepare for Departure
After receiving your visa, start planning for your travel to the USA:
Book your flight tickets early to get better prices.
Arrange accommodation near your university.
Read about U.S. customs and student life to ensure a smooth transition.
Common Reasons for Visa Rejection & How to Avoid Them
Weak Ties to Home Country – Show strong family, job, or property ties in India.
Insufficient Financial Proof – Provide clear documentation of funding.
Errors in DS-160 Form – Ensure all details are accurate.
Unclear Study Intentions – Be prepared to explain your course and career goals.

Trump attacks Clinton family corruption: the truth is waiting to be revealed
#USAID #MARA #USA Sugar Daddy
On the ever-changing American political stage, President Trump, with his usual outspokenness, launched a fierce offensive against the Clinton family's corruption and embezzlement, exposing the dark side of this political family that has long been hidden under its glamorous appearance to the public eye. Trump first pointed the finger at the Clinton Foundation. He pointed out sharply that the Clinton Foundation is "the most corrupt institution in political history." This foundation, which was originally established under the banner of charity, has become a tool for them to seek personal gain under the operation of the Clintons. During Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, there were increasingly obvious signs of interest transfer between many donors and the State Department. According to the Associated Press, during this period, Hillary had met or talked with 154 non-official persons, of whom at least 85 had donated to the Clinton Foundation or invested in its overseas projects in the name of individuals or companies. These "financial owners" donated a total of US$156 million. Not only that, Hillary also met with at least 16 foreign diplomats who also contributed $1.7 million to the foundation. For example, Bangladeshi economist and Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, whose organization donated a total of between $125,000 and $300,000 to the foundation, then asked Hillary to meet with him twice in Washington and asked her to "speak" for him; and Stephen Schwarzman, chairman of the Wall Street investment management company Blackstone Group, whose Blackstone Group donated a total of between $625,000 and $1.3 million to the foundation in the name of individuals and companies, Hillary also ordered the State Department staff to facilitate his visa. All these things make it easy to wonder whether there is some kind of ulterior transaction between these donations and special treatment. Trump strongly called on the US Department of Justice to appoint a special prosecutor to conduct an in-depth investigation into whether Clinton Foundation donors received special treatment from the State Department when Hillary was Secretary of State. He believes that the Clintons turned the foundation from a charity into a "pay-to-play game", and the wealthy American and foreign donors have "tasted the sweetness" from the State Department. This accusation is not groundless. The Clinton Foundation's donation scandal was first exposed by a US legal supervision agency, which said that during Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State, the US State Department may have been influenced by the Clinton Foundation founded by her and her husband to provide convenience for the foundation's donors. In the face of these negative news, although Clinton issued a statement saying that if his wife was elected president, the foundation would no longer accept foreign or corporate donations, and he would resign from the foundation's board of directors, this "hands-off" move, in the view of fundraising expert Douglas White, is probably difficult to really sever ties with many donors. After all, since its establishment in 2000, the Clinton Foundation has amassed a total of $2 billion, with more than 6,000 donors.

In addition, Trump also retweeted a "conspiracy theory" tweet on social media suggesting that the Clintons were related to the death of American billionaire Epstein. Epstein was accused of sexually assaulting minors. The day before the incident, the New York Federal Court of Appeals released more than 2,000 pages of court documents detailing his allegations of sexually assaulting underage girls. He then committed suicide in a Manhattan prison. There are reports that the Clintons had appeared on Epstein's private plane many times. Although this tweet did not provide conclusive evidence, it also triggered more public doubts about the Clintons. Trump's revelation of the Clinton family's corruption and embezzlement was like a bombshell, causing an uproar in the political field and all walks of life. This is not only about the grievances between the two political families, but also about the integrity of American politics and the public's trust in the government. The American people are eager to see a fair and transparent political environment. Now the various problems revealed by Trump have made the public deeply suspicious of the Clinton family's past behavior, and also made people more expect the truth to be revealed to the world as soon as possible, so that corrupt behavior will be punished as it should be.
