I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Daemonculaba is bog-standard pregnancy horror. All y'all flipping the fuck out over it clearly never grew up getting warned repeatedly about rapists, getting stabbed in the gut monthly post-puberty, reading stories about shitting and tearing and husband stitches and refusal to give epidurals and PPD and PPP, and it shows *flips hair, it is of course SJW blue*

No but seriously if the Daemonculaba freaks you out, start advocating for maternal health care, including abortion rights. You too can be Uriel Ventris, and you don't even need to unleash a daemon in an Iron Warriors fortress to do it.

What is horror if not an exaggeration of real-life fears? And the fears presented by the Daemonculaba are an urgent threat to women all over the world.

How many women are forced into pregnancy against their will?

How many women have their bodies destroyed by the rigors of pregnancy, birth, and post-partum? How many are literally killed by those difficulties?

How many women are forced to carry to term pregnancies they do not want? Even when the pregnancy/birth threatens their life? Even when the fetus is guaranteed death after birth, or a short life full of pain?

People yelp so goddamn much about how horrible the Daemonculaba is. The Daemonculaba is real life.

Be like Uriel and purge real-life pregnancy horrors with bolter and sword pen and ballot by advocating for abortion rights and better maternal healthcare.
