mmmmok something im gonna bitch about in regards to dirk that i think is hypocritical when in regards to todd and i find it annoying ill put it under a cut so you aint being forced to read

in 2x03 dirk basically tears hobbs apart, is overly harsh towards him (even todd says so) and he doesnt apologise! not ever for this! todd defends him (sure he doesnt explicitly say sorry on dirk behalf (which good im glad he doesnt)) but theres an def an undertone to him saying 'he's got a lot on his mind.'

i just dont get why todd gets so much shit for not apologising even tho he does??? several times he says sorry more than any other character just about yet somehow according to the fandom he doesnt and then dirk does this and its alllll crickets (same with other characters like most of them dont apologise! why is todd giving on the scrunity.)

i just find the whole 'dirk is a shining beacon of goodness who can do know wrong ever' and todd gets villified despite characters doing the same shit as him kinda... frustrating? i guess. nobody in this show is a saint and i think its a bit of a disservice to view as only 'bad thing happened to them therefore inherently good' and 'they did the bad thing therefore inherently bad'
