oddly this kept me up at night and i would like to ask a bunch of people on tumblr sp here we go. have you guys ever thought about how george/dream may have gotten sick of the whole dnf thing? like what if one them just fucking snaps either live or not, they've stated that they're fine with it but at some point one of them has to get sick of it right? i feel like it would be george because dream would be "aha money" you know idk i feel like we're so close to that breaking point 1/2

and i've been to other fandoms where the two people getting shipped just snaps, dan and phil, larry stylinson. maybe i'm just being paranoid but they're both straight (dream may not be) but still if you identify as straight you'd be bothered by that yeah? do you guys think they had a huge argument about it or something god i'm getting scared rant to me idc just tell me something give me a paragraph go for it 2/2

honestly i don’t know anon.  it’s 4am i haven’t slept and there are too many questions and never enough answers. (also i lived through the phandom and one direction eras but never participated and only saw things from the outside so i’m not sure how things ended.)

i’m not very good at comforting people and your worries are valid but please don’t be scared and maybe go to sleep.  

the thing is, we’ll never know how the dream team truly feel as that’s how parasocial relationships with internet personalities are.  we can speculate on “is it queerbaiting or is it just closeted/repressed emotions” but none of us actually know.  

that being said, in this poorly written essay/stream of consciousness, i will speculate on this dteam situation you have asked about.

the three of them are Good Friends who have known each other for Years, long before any of us had ever heard of them.  i mean they spend half the day on call or falling asleep on call with each other.  and if you think about your own friendships with people you’ve known for Years, you (hopefully) respect your friend’s boundaries and are comfortable telling them if something made you uncomfortable and vice versa.  so i think if any one of them were to start becoming really uncomfortable with the Shipping and whatnot, they would tell one another and work it out in a way that respects their own personal boundaries.  because that’s what i would do with my friends and that’s probably what you would do with yours.  

so under the reasonable assumptions that they are all comfortable enough with each other and practice healthy communication with each other, i don’t think things would ever boil over to a point where one of them Snaps.  

ok but what if that does happen?  what if one of them does Snap?  

well i don’t think it would happen on a livestream.  they’re all Adults with an understanding of the public image they have put out into the world and probably have enough professionalism to not air out private matters publicly.  worst case scenario, the person would just end their livestream early.  and then the three of them will talk it all out privately because at the end of the day, they’re all friends and Care about each other.  and maybe they’ll argue, because it’s good to express your emotions and not keep them bottled up inside for too long.  and this might take a little while because emotions are a fickle thing.

so then what? after one of them becomes uncomfortable with the shipping and they’ve worked it out amongst themselves?  

i would assume they would all come to an agreement that respects all 3 of their boundaries.  a “statement” of sorts would likely be drafted up by them together and they would post it probably on twitter, likely reassuring fans that they are all still friends but that their stance on shipping has changed.  

the fandom would be on fire for a day or two.  things would trend on twitter.  

some people might leave the fandom; some might be toxic about it; but most would likely remain and respect the dteam’s boundaries/feelings.

and after the dust has settled, maybe dteam won’t want to do what they do anymore.  and that’s ok.  or maybe it’ll blow over and things will be the same except minus the shipping.  

who knows.  certainly not me.  and i don’t know if any of this will ever happen?  maybe one of them will come out and the timeline shifts?  maybe things never change for the duration of their mcyt careers?  or maybe something completely unforeseen happens because we’re talking about 3 guys in their early 20s who play a block game for a living.  who knows what could happen.

but i do think things will be ok in the end.  

because regardless of where the dream team’s careers take them, i genuinely believe that dream, george, and sapnap would Never put their careers ahead or at the expense of each other’s feelings.  and that’s perhaps the bottom line of it all.

so please don’t be scared anon.  and maybe go to sleep.  hugs.

thomas is 27 in this, the reader is about 21, also, i didn’t exactly do the sugar daddy part because i have no clue how to write it so yeah. also, i added a couple of tatts to him, which he does not have.

"i'm sorry, she's 21?"

“uh, yeah.” thomas answered, his eyes focused on the floor in front of him. it was summer, and bordy had decided to invite all of his old teammates from michigan to come stay at in his house in san jose for a bit, deciding to use this time to introduce them to his girlfriend. 

the only problem was that he was 27, and you were barely 21. now of course that wasn’t the most dramatic thing in the world, well it wouldn’t if you didn’t have such a baby face that made you look like you were barely 18. it had taken a while for his parents and yours to accept your age gap, but seeing how happy you were with each other made it pretty hard for them. 

“and, uh, how do your parents feel about that?” one of them asked, thom cleared his throat a bit before answering. 

“they’re okay with it, her’s too.” he said, leaving out the part where it took them months to do so, all the arguments he had and you had with your own parents. the room was silent after that, each other the guys reacting in their own way, some where a bit confused, the older guys had more of a ‘wtf’ expression on their. 

“shes’ really nice. makes good cookies too.” briss said after a while, he was the first one to find out about the two of you. well it was an accident more than anything, brendan just walking into the house when he was in town, leading to him finding the two of you cuddled up on the couch, kissing.

“what the fuck!” brendan’s voice boomed in the house, making you and thomas jump apart. 

“what the fuck!” thomas repeated once he realized that his best friend was standing in his house. 

“what-- who--” briss struggled to get out. 

“dude, what the fuck are you doing in here?” thom said, getting up from the couch and dragging his best friend outside. brendan had a dumbfounded look on his, which was pretty understandable. 

“who the fuck is that?” 

“she, um, a friend.” thomas stuttered to say, he mentally slapped himself at how he was acting. 

“oh you kiss your friends now? and friends that pretty much look like they’re a teen?” 

“she’s 21.” bordy quickly corrected him, hoping it’d help the situation out a bit. 

“so, let me get this straight. you, 27 year old guy, was kissing your friend, who’s 21?” brendan said, making thom let out a sigh, fingertips rubbing his temple. 

“she’s my girlfriend, briss. get over it.” 

“oh, get over it? i just found out my best friend’s dating a 21 year old, but you’re totally right, bords, i should get over it.” 

“okay, okay, i’m sorry. it’s just, this isn’t how i wanted you find out. and what the fuck were you even doing in my house?” 

“door was unlocked.” brendan shrugged, leaning his elbow on the table next to him. 

“who else knows?” 

“our families, and only them. so i swear to god briss if you tell anyone--” 

“chill, i’m not going to. not my secret to tell.” he cut thom off, at the same moment, you walked through the sliding door, walking over to your boyfriend. 

“i have to go to class.” you whispered to him, as one of his arms snaked around your waist. 

“okay, text me when your done, drive safe.” he whispered back before pressing a kiss to your lips, and then one to your nose. 

“i will.” you answered before walking back into his house, not even paying attention to brendan. 

“there’s not way she’s 21, bords. she looks like she’s 16.” 

“she goes to fucking sandford, briss. she can go to a bar if she wants.” 

“okay, okay, chill. i was just saying she looks young.” brendan said, raising his hands in the air, making thom scoff a bit. when you came back from class a couple of hours later, you were then properly introduced to brendan, he of course asked you a thousand question about your relationship with his best friend, the major you were in. you answered most of them honestly, except a couple of one’s about your relationship with thom, which you weren't ready to answer yet.

“how did briss get to know before us?” one of them asked, confused as to why briss knew, but not them.

“he wasn’t supposed to know.” 

“it’s cause i’m his favourite.” brendan and thom answered at the same time, making bordy glare at his best friend. 

“he wasn’t supposed to know.” he repeated, making his point clear. 

“are we gonna get to meet her too?��� 

“if you stop asking so many questions, maybe.” thom sassed back at the youngest hughes brother, making a lot of the younger ones close their mouth quickly. 

“so, she’s like 10 years younger than me or something?” jimmy asked, making thom roll his eyes a bit. 

“didn’t know you could do math like that, jimmy.” 

“dude, you’re dating someone who’s almost a whole decade older than us.” blanks spoke calmy, trying to show thomas how awkward this is for them. 

“it’s not my fault you’re old. now if you’re all gonna keep asking me question, just leave. i didn’t invite you guys to get questioned.” thom sassed once again before going inside to make sure the food in the oven wasn’t burning.

“hey, love.” 

“hi, bubba.” you whispered back as you wrapped your arms around his naked torso, placing your head on his chest. some of the boys had left to go back to their hotel, while other’s stayed in the other rooms, too drunk to go back. 

“how was your day?” you asked, hands rubbing over his rib tattoo he had gotten a while ago.

“it was good, nice to have all of the boys together again.” he answered, hand playing with your hair. 

“who stayed over?” 

“briss, mack, moyle, beech and duker.”

"so i have to nake breakfast for 7 tomorrow?" you asked him, ever since the two of you had started dating, you'd always make breakfast for him, and he'd try to help you at first, but you eventually kicked him out of his own kitchen once you realized that he wasn't the most gifted with cooking.

"if you want, i can just tell them to go get food or something."

"no it's okay, plus they're gonna be hungover and it'd be a great time for me to meet some of them." you explained to him, a couple of yawns leaving your mouth at the same time.

"whatever you want, mon amour. now get some sleep--"

"did you leave all of them a tylenol and a glass of water?" you cut him off. you had asked thom to go leave those things next to boys' bed for tomorrow morning, you would've done it yourself but you didnt feel comfortable to go into the rooms while they were sleeping.

"yes i did, i left 2 for briss like always. now go to sleep, hon."

"je t'aime." you told him before closing your eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep.

"je t'aime." was the last thing you heard him say before completely falling asleep.

* Now you can either walk away and let him win or you can do the same as him

* If you choose to test him n flirt with some random guy to piss him off he doesn’t break fast but you can see the cracks

* First the conversation with the bitch stops then his eyes lock onto yours

* Hold his gaze maybe even wink just to annoy him

* You can see his grin twitching along with his trigger happy fingers
