Kind of amused that on the website it says "uponadecember" instead of "hezpeller".

I agree with everything on your Cassie analysis except one thing. In 1x02, she said "Look up if you like me," not "Look up if you love me." The point still stands that she got attached to Sid more easily than she should have, but she didn't throw the word love around until later on in S1.
Ah, my bad. I was doing it from memory. Tricky little thing, that memory stuff. ;)
#uponadecember#i've srsly lost ALL my S1 dvds! halp. i still have the case tho. very odd.#they just vanished one day

It’s a mess, honestly. I’m not sure if you’re even familiar with half of the fandoms.
Sounds like my life.
Oh, I started writing that Tomione-meets-as-kids prompt you gave me the last time I did this ask prompt thing. Don't have too much so far, but I thought you'd like to know.

1. It's unloved by fandom. 2. It's cursed. 3. It lives in a magical world but is not magical. 4. It's almost always seen in the same outfit. 5. It likes nature.
Ahh! My first thoughts are either Snow White or Aurora. But Snow White fits 4 more than Aurora. But then I start to second guess myself and think it's a trick and you want me to think it's one of these two so...if it's not Snow (Aurora), I'm kinda stumped at the moment lol.

Sorry for the wait. As I was going through them, I realized that some had deactivated so I was getting rid of those. Messaging you now. The ones with * are ones that I’m not sure are accepting affiliates ‘cause I couldn’t find an affiliates tab.
Oh, wow. That's a lot xD Thank you so much!

uponadecember replied to your post: Tahno/Korra. First meeting as nonbenders.
Lol, I can try, but my to-write list is already pretty high, so you might have to wait a few hundred years to see it posted. :P
Now I'm curious to know what's on this list.

Tahno/Korra. First meeting as nonbenders.
"You look terrible."
She doesn't say a word, but her face betrays her.
"He got you..." He smiles softly. "It isn't so bad, you know."
#so now I actually want to write this fic#but I have too many Amon/Asami prompts#so you should write it instead#Tahnorra#uponadecember#ff#replies

It's nice that the GLC writers have things planned for everyone, but I'm not sure I like the ideas. Amy becoming famous could make her become disillusioned by it and calm down.. or it could just give her more chances to hog the camera. A Teddy/Spencer breakup sounds good, but it also sounds like his flaws will never be addressed. And why is there no mention of the premise: a teenager trying to help her large family get by? I know that's been buried for a while now, but I still miss that Teddy.
I agree with everything. Like you said, it's nice that they seem to have an overreaching arc, but I'm not so happy about the ideas.
There used to be a time when I liked Amy. I'm sure you remember that lol. I knew she was a bit over the top and annoying, but I was okay with that since I'm a little over the top myself. But I haven't really liked her since late season 1 or early season 2 (they run together at this point so I can't remember). She went from over the top mom to "It's ALL about me!" What happened to the mom who wanted what was best for her kids in spite of her self-centered-ness? What happened to the mom who was actually HURT by the fact that Teddy played her to go see a movie? We really don't see that anymore. Now it's just, "me, fame, me, fame, me, me, me" and it feels like she would sell her own kids to be famous. (I really disliked in the new episode where Teddy and Spencer are doing the play and even after Amy hurt Teddy and then apologized, she was still able to get what she wanted. It was like, "oh okay you made good, here's your reward.")
I agree that it sounds good and hopefully that's where it ends up going. But, yeah, if they never address his flaws more full on then that's just sad. The only sort of bright light in season 3, for me, in regards to their relationship has been that Ivy and Amy still dislike him and see him as flawed.
You are SO right! What happened? I said a while back that I think the video diaries are so pointless now. There's really no need for them because Teddy isn't the same teenage girl looking to help her family and Charlie. Her video diaries have become so contrived that there's no way they'll be of much help in the future. What happened to Teddy spieling about her first kiss? Or what it's like having a boy over for a study date? (Lol, internally cringing that I have to use Spencer examples.) Or even when she broke up with Spencer and she and Amy showed Charlie the rawness of how it feels? I miss that about the show. Teddy's allowed to grow up and change obviously, but the changes the writers have chosen for her haven't been great. It's like she's losing maturity instead of gaining it, if that makes any sense.
(I wasn't sure if I should publish or answer privately. I went with publish since 1. it's nice to have good discussion out in the open and 2. Tumblr keeps eating my messages Dx)

Well said. My mom is a very affectionate Sagittarius as well. Ramble as much as you want because I love astrology, but I wish I could say I knew enough about natal charts to give a more substantial reply.
Well, that blog is really starting to get on my nerves now because there was a post about the most curious versus the nosiest and Pisces was on the nosy list, which I don't understand because while Pisces do enjoy knowing things, they don't pry. And they listed Gemini as very curious and Aquarius as nosy, when I see Gemini as more of nosy and Aquarius more of curious.
Ugh. This blog.
I also don't understand how Scorpio of all signs could be considered not that flirtatious.

It amazes me how scarily accurate astrology can be at times and how completely off it can be at others.
The problem isn't that astrology itself can be accurate or inaccurate, but that the people who analyze astrological signs can make mistakes. No one's perfect (even I mix up traits from each sign sometimes and I still have no clue how to describe a Libra) but this person just blatantly wrote Sagittarius off as the least affectionate sign in the zodiac.
While I take into account that we each have our own natal charts that disperse different energies of different signs into different aspects of our lives (e.g. my moon sign is Aquarius, which means that under the surface of all my Piscean wonders, I'm analytical, ridiculously observant, a little cold, etc.), there's still a lot to be said about one's sun sign. Mine is in Pisces, and for the longest time (I should note that early childhood is when the energies of one's sun sign are most poignant) I was very much a compassionate, shy Pisces living in a world of daydreams.
My mom is a triple Sagittarius, meaning that three of her signs are in Sagittarius. I know her sun and moon are both Sag, but I'm not sure what the third is (though I'm almost positive it's her Mercury). Basically that means that the energies of Sagittarius are intensified for her (overall, the sun is conscious, the moon is subconscious, and mercury is the way we express ourselves/talk to others) and if there's one thing my mom is, it's affectionate. She might not be affectionate in the way Pisces needs/is, but she's still very affectionate.
...And I just ranted. Whoops. I just don't understand how someone who runs an astrology blog could generalize something so poorly.
#replies#uponadecember#in which I write up a post I doubt anyone who follows me actually cares about#I just really love astrology you guys

I'm going to give you Aladdin for the meme. :) Also, I completely agree with all of your thoughts on Good Luck Charlie. I plan to rant about the episode on LJ tomorrow.
Yay, I will be looking forward to your post! (I should make my own, but I'm too lazy. I might make one about Brave and then just have fun ranting in your comments area instead...)
Favorite Character: Jasmine
Least favorite character: Abu. Poor thing just doesn't do anything for me as a character. The Sultan is a close second honestly.
Favorite pairing: Aladdin/Jasmine
Favorite song: One Jump Ahead (Reprise)
Favorite friendship: Aladdin and Genie (but Jasmine and Rajah and even Jafar and Iago are pretty great too)
Best face: Aladdin
Funniest character: Iago and to a lesser extent Jafar because of their dynamic
Do I like said movie: No. I LOVE this movie. Favorite princess franchise film and up there at the top with the few other Disney movies that I can't decide for certain which one is really first place. But I do tend to think it's this one!
