Heâs dead fucking wrong. You love your father, enough to not immediately say no, but heâs wrong. Itâs true you could use a girlsâ trip, perhaps even a couple of days out of town with your Dad, and heâs not entirely off about university being the death of you, kiddo â youâve spent one too many nights inhaling coffee and cramming for your finals. The idea of an all-inclusive trip is tempting, given the fact that all you manage to eat these days is pasta and store-bought pesto, if that.
Nevertheless, you need to keep studying, thereâs less than two weeks left until your exams, and although the trip is only a couple of days, you donât know Joel.
Sure, youâve been to his barbecues, and he let you use his bike one year when yours was stolen and your Dad refused to buy you a new one, because you should have locked it up in the first place. You know how he patched up your Dad after the divorce â you never worried about your mother, who was heartbroken, but able to talk about it to her family and friends. Your Dad was the one you spent sleepless nights over. The way the beer bottles accumulated in his garage, how distant he seemed on the phone. You know it was Joel who looked after him, made sure he left the house and had anything edible inside it. Youâre grateful for it, you are, but you donât really know him. For most of your life, he has been a friendly smile and wave over a fence, and youâre shy around people you know much better than the occasional hey kid, you back for the summer? or if you see your Dad, tell him I borrowed his screwdriver, Iâll put it back tomorrow.
You do feel slightly guilty your Dad canât go on his trip. He broke his leg, and although itâs not entirely your fault he slipped, you had been the one to mop the stairs right before the accident. As much as your Dad was looking forward to his vacation, after a week he had to admit a beach holiday would be little fun with a whole leg in plaster.
You sigh, staring at your phone screen, tapping on it every once in a while to keep it from turning black. Heâs expecting an answer soon, you know he is. Who the hell books non-refundable trips anyway? When you get the time, youâll need to tell him about a lovely invention that is insurance.
You glance over at the stack of unfinished coursework on your desk, your laptop taunting you with its quiet â no responses to the millions of job applications you have sent out have come through. At this rate, youâll be jobless in a couple of months, when you finish your degree. Youâll have to live with either of your parents forever, no money for any sort of vacation whatsoever.
"Oh, screw it,â you mutter, unlocking your phone, and typing quickly.
Iâll do it. Only because my A+ cleaning is the reason you canât go. Tell Joel to bring something to read, I need to study.
***
"Itâd be a shame if it went to waste, kiddo, Iâm glad youâre doing this.â
"Yeah,â you answer, thinking of the endless powerpoint slides you havenât even looked at yet. "Maybe studying at the beach works wonders.â
Thereâs a knock on the door, and you move to open it, your Dad chained to his chair by his broken leg. Youâre not particularly excited about the smalltalk youâll have to make with your Dadâs friend, but if you remember correctly, Joel is as much the quiet type as you are, and might actually appreciate your studying. Great, you think, at least one of us will enjoy it, then.
When you open the door, the first thing that strikes you is how hard you find it to envision Joel at the beach â heâs all mountains and trees to you, with his lumberjack boots and flannel shirt. His smile is friendly, and only gains warmth when he notices the critical look you give his outfit.
"I know,â he says, voice deep and quiet, "Iâm king of dressing for the occasion.â
You grin, and open the door wider.
"Come on in. Dadâs in the living room. Whatâs with theâŚuhâŚâ
Your voice trails off, as you gesture towards his distinctly un-vacationy clothes.
"Thought you might bail,â Joel answers easily, stepping into the house. "Canât imagine youâre overly thrilled about this.â
You think about denying it, but this is your chance to come clean about how you would much prefer keeping to yourself and preparing for your finals, so you sigh.
"Well, itâs kinda my fault Dad was, like, almost paralyzed from the neck down, so I figured the least I could do was not let his trip go to waste. Iâve got finals in two weeks, so the timing isâŚsuboptimal.â
"Yeah, your Dad said. I brought reading material, so I wonât bother you too much.â
Heâs easy, you realize. Easy to talk to, and easy to accept your reluctance to bond with an almost-stranger, quick to make you feel comfortable by hinting at that boundary. You smile back, and are struck by how he holds your eye contact until you break it yourself, nodding towards your suitcase.
"Think this will fit inside the car?â
"Sure,â he answers, "Iâve got a Bronco.â
You have no idea what that means, but you assume itâs a good thing, so you smile vaguely.
"Itâs an SUV,â Joel explains with a hint of good-natured amusement in his voice.
"Right,â you say, attempting to overplay your obvious lack in car-knowledge, "SUV. One of the big ones.â
It makes Joel smile again, and you notice the wrinkles around his eyes that make his face look all sunny.Â
"Yeah,â he says. "One of the big ones.â
You lead him into the living room to say good-bye to your Dad, whoâs expression is a weird mixture of sombre and excited at the sight of his daughter and best friend getting ready to drive to the airport.
"Take care of her, Joel,â he says, when youâre getting ready to leave.
"Donât worry,â Joel answers with a pat to your fatherâs arm. "Iâve got her.â
"Iâm twenty-three,â you remind your father, "Iâve done more dangerous things than a trip to the beach.â
"Yeah, but youâre still my little girl,â he answers with a smile, squeezing your hand. You squeeze back, though his comment irritates you.
"See ya, Dad. Call me if somethingâs wrong with your leg, alright?â
"Sure, kiddo. Have fun, you two, and bring me a seashell.â
Joel grins at the open envy on your Dadâs face.
"Weâll go on another trip next year,â he says in an attempt to cheer him up.
"Yeah, yeah,â your Dad answers, glancing at his watch. "Better get going, or youâll miss the flight.â
"Weâll be fine, Joelâs got a fast car,â you argue, "AÂ Bronco. Thatâs an SUV.â
Joel snorts.
***
Joel lets you take the window seat and plops down next to you, legs slightly spread so as to fit into the little space the two of you have. His leg nudges yours, and he pulls it back immediately, though you can see how uncomfortable it must be with his knees pressing into the seat in front of him. You move your legs towards the window with a glance at Joel, who looks grateful and is able to relax his muscles into a more comfortable position without invading your space.
"Thanks,â he mutters, "Fucking hate flying.â
So do you, though not because youâre too big to fit into the space, and not because youâre afraid â mostly because itâs boring. Sure, takeoff is exciting, but you get nauseous from watching movies and the plane is much too loud to really enjoy your music the way you would lying on your bed at home. You could study, you suppose, but you tell yourself you wouldnât be able to concentrate and kick your backpack further under your seat. Joel notices and chuckles.
"Finals, huh? You almost done with your degree?â
You canât imagine him finding your boring university struggles interesting, but youâre not exactly fantastic at smalltalk, so you take the conversation heâs offering you.
"Iâve got one more year, but Iâve got to do a six month internship, and write my thesis, so yeah, this is, like, the last of my regular classes and exams.â
"You enjoy it?â
The question is strikingly honest, like he really wants to know, like itâs fine if you donât. You look at him, his eyes already on your face, and for a second you think how handsome he is. You didnât notice before, when he was just the owner of a bike you could conveniently borrow, when life was all skinned knees and staying up till sun-down. Now, he looks like an equal, like someone who wants to know about your life, someone you want to know about yourself. The change is a little unsettling, but thrilling. You realize you havenât answered him, so you clear your throat.
"Sure, itâs alright. Not what I would have done if money didnât matter, but it does, soâŚI can be content with it.â
Joel considers this, eyes still lingering on your face, as the plane starts speeding up for takeoff.
"What would you do if money didnât matter?â
You shrug, and smile to yourself.
"Creative writing, maybe. Or English lit.â
"You always were the smart one in your family,â Joel answers with a chuckle.
You glance at him, and feel a pang of something warm in your stomach as he compliments you. When the plane takes off, you look out of the window, but get the feeling Joelâs eyes keep looking at you. It makes your skin prickle, though not at all unpleasantly.
***
You get to the hotel when the sun is high in the sky, burning the top of your head and making you long for a shower and an ice-cold coke. Joel courteously carries your suitcase and although you donât want to inconvenience him, you donât mind the way his muscles bulge under the weight, arms straining against the navy shirt he had underneath his flannel. You wonder how heâs not suffocating in the heat, wearing his thick jeans and boots.
When you get to the front desk, he fishes his phone out of his pocket, searching for his reservation details with furrowed brows. You smile when you notice he uses two hands to scroll. It takes him a couple of minutes, cursing under his breath, and you smile at the lady, who smiles back, patiently waiting for Joel to find the right email.
"Sorry,â you say to her, and try to catch a glimpse at Joelâs phone, so as to figure out whatâs taking him so long. "Need some help?â
He throws you an offended look that makes you grin, and finally shows the lady his phone. She smiles, types something into her computer and gets out two room keys.
"Go easy on your Daddy, itâs easier when you grew up with the internet,â she says, handing you each a keycard. You feel Joel stiffen beside you, and your stomach flutters.
"Hereâs your keycards, youâre on the third floor. Enjoy your stay!â
"Thanks,â Joel mumbles, taking the cards and handing them to you, before grabbing the two suitcases. He huffs, when you walk around a corner and towards the elevators.
"She was makinâ fun of me,â he says accusingly when the lady is out of earshot, as if that would be your fault. You snort, all of a sudden feeling giddy at the prospect of being at the beach soon, your holiday only a couple of minutes away.
"I donât think so, she was trying to help you by blaming your incompetence on your age,â you say, Joel looking at you like he canât believe what you said.
"Sorry.â Your voice is quivering with amusement at how offended he is. "Daddy.â
That makes him clear his throat, and if your eyes arenât playing a trick on you, his cheeks turn a shade darker. Bingo.
"Donât say shit like that,â Joel grumbles, "âM not that old.â
"How old are you, then?â
"Why?â, he asks, eyes meeting yours, and suddenly youâre the one blushing, your stomach swirling with something you definitely should not be feeling for your Dadâs best friend. Joel shakes his head. "Donât start something neither of us can finish, kid.â
Itâs just an offhand-comment about the way you jokingly flirted, but you feel all bashful all of a sudden. His mention of there being something to potentially start, the fact that the possibility even crossed his mindâŚwhen you look up at him again and watch him press a button on the elevator, you study the grey patches in his beard, the way his jaw clenches and unclenches as youâre waiting, his thick fingers drumming against the handle of his suitcase. Itâs not what you expected to happen, but Joelâs got you intrigued.
***
You both agree to take a shower, get settled in and meet outside the rooms in half an hour â theyâre neighboring, so itâs not far. Youâre too lazy to properly unpack, so you just grab a bikini and a comfortable white sundress to change into after your shower. The water is welcome on your skin, washing away the grit and sweat of the hours spent on the plane, and you feel like a new person when you step out of the bathroom. You put on sandals and a pair of sunglasses, grab sunscreen, your books and notes for class, and a bottle of water, and throw it all into your beach bag, then head for the door. Joel is already waiting for you, leaning against the wall opposite your door wearing a different shirt, red swimming trunks and dark sunglasses. Heâs got a towel thrown over his shoulder and you grin.
"Raw-dogging the beach?â, you ask, which makes him furrow his brows.
"The hell does that mean?â
You snort at his obvious annoyance at your innuendo.
"It means youâre only bringing a towel, nothing to entertain yourself with,â you explain, gesturing towards your bag. Joel shakes his head, still frowning.
"Iâm going to the beach, not the library,â he answers, and starts walking towards the elevators, his flip-flops making their soft sound on the floor. Your gaze flickers down towards his legs, his swimming trunks revealing tan thighs.
"Cominâ?â
You swallow, and catch up with him.
***
Heâs fucking gorgeous. Itâs a problem, how gorgeous he is, tan torso, swimming trunks low on his hips, bits of dark hair scattered across his chest and soft belly. His shoulders are wide, like they were made for swimming, his hair glistening as he shakes like a wet dog when he comes up for air. You have been staring at the same page for far too long now, but thereâs no way Joel is able to notice your staring, not when youâre wearing your sunglasses and heâs busy swimming.
You know itâs a bad idea, that thereâs no good that can come from crushing on a man twice your age, more than that, even. You know he must surely see the girl who came over to borrow his bike with tears of anger in her eyes every time he looks at you, and you know how much he respects your father.
Still, you are allowed to have fun. Youâre doing this for your Dad more than anything, and youâve been bending over backwards trying to make him proud with your good grades, so if thereâs something youâre able to get out of this trip, you figure youâre at least allowed to look. And anyway, itâs not hurting anyone. Itâs just natural, the half-naked bodies and blissful relaxation would affect anyone who has spent the last four months cramped up in a little dorm room.
You watch Joel swim towards the beach again, rising out of the water like some sort of Poseidon sent to personally make this trip unbearable for you. You think of his reaction when you teasingly called him Daddy, and swallow.
"Fuck,â you mumble to yourself, when he tugs on his swimming trunks so that they donât slide over his hips, dripping water onto the dry sand all around him. He smiles at you as he makes his way over to your spot â two deckchairs shielded by a parasol.
"Wow,â Joel says sarcastically, when he looks at your book, still on page two. "Real page turner, huh?â
You blush, and open your mouth to defend yourself, but Joelâs expression softens, all biting humor gone, as he grabs his towel.
"Youâre allowed to take a break from studying, you know?â
You watch him dry himself off, big hands rubbing the towel over his chest and stomach, leaving his legs to dry on their own, as he lays down on his deckchair.
"Easy to say, youâre not the one who has to face my Dad if you fail all your exams.â
Joel turns his head towards you, and youâre struck by how gentle his expression is.
"I know he can be a hard ass, but I guarantee you youâre not goinâ to fail all your exams, kid.â
You sigh and shrug.
"He give you a hard time âcause of your grades?â
"No,â you answer quickly, all of a sudden feeling defensive of your father. "I just wannaâŚmake him proud.â
Joel smiles.
"I know for a fact youâre doinâ that without even tryinâ. And anyway, itâs good to take breaks. Letâs your brain cool off and absorb information much better afterwards.â
Canât argue with that logic, you think and close your book with a thud. Joel grabs it from you and throws it into your beach bag.
"I grant you two hours of studying each day,â he says, and you have to laugh. "The rest is for having fun, gettinâ tan and drinkinâ cocktails."
Itâs preposterous, that he would order you around like that after you told him you need to study, back before you even made it to the airport. But something is different here, away from your desk, and your Dadâs broken leg (and the rest of him, for that matter). Joel and you have fallen into an easy dynamic, and although itâs unusual, your reservations are gone. Youâre actually looking forward to spending time with him, and not just because of the way his belly nudges against the waistband of his swimming trunks, or how his accent seems to thicken in the sun.
"Fine,â you say, "but youâre paying for my tuition if I do end up failing, Miller.â
He grins at you.

Summer 2023, Santa Barbara.
23th of June.
The first year of college felt like it dragged on forever, with endless lectures, assignments, and late-night cram sessions that blurred into one exhausting marathon. But then, as if in the blink of an eye, it was over. Ellie packed up her dorm room, said her goodbyes, and headed home with the promise of a long, lazy summer stretching out before her.
The auburnette was a quiet introvert with a love for solitary activities, ready to kick back and relax. She loved this time of yearâthe bright, sunny days and the chilly, star-filled nights. The beach was her favorite place to unwind, where she could lose herself in the soothing rhythm of the waves crashing against the ancient shores and the feel of the sand between her toes. She loved soaking up the sun, letting its warmth seep into her freckled skin, and staying up late with her friends playing video games, adrenaline-pumping matches that promised to take all their sleepiness away, their laughter echoing into the early hours of the morningâor until Joel woke up to her yelling at random kids online and told her to turn it off, threatening to take all her consoles away.
But as the days melted into weeks, a sense of restlessness began to creep in. The once comforting routine now felt monotonous, and Ellie found herself craving something different, suddenly feeling unproductive. The pressure to change her routine was mounting, especially with Joelâs words ringing in her ears. He was dead serious when he told her she needed to stop being a lazy ass and start doing something with her life. He claimed that, by her age, he had already tried almost every job under the sun and didnât want to see her wasting her days away.
At first, Ellie brushed off Joel's comments, but they lingered in the back of her mind, gnawing at her. Then, Dina chimed in, convincing her to join her and Jesse as lifeguards at the local pool. The idea seemed laughable to Ellie. She couldnât imagine herself in such a roleâstanding on the pool deck, whistle in hand, ready to dive in at a moment's notice. But with nothing else on her plate and a growing desire to be productive, Ellie decided to give it a shot.Â
What could possibly go wrong, after all?
What else did she have to do? Absolutely nothing. And she figured she could always quit if things were really that bad. No harm in trying, right?
With a mix of nervousness and excitement, the young girl signed up for the lifeguard training course. The first few days were gruelingâlearning CPR, mastering rescue techniques, and memorizing safety protocols. She quickly realized that she enjoyed the physical challenge and the sense of responsibility that came with the role. Plus, spending her days by the pool wasnât too far off from her ideal summer.
After a week of rigorous training, Ellie had finally reached a level where she felt ready. However, her confidence faltered when she discovered you were also working there. Every time she beheld you, your ethereal and almost unreal presence left her breathless. Her heart raced wildly, and a lump formed in her throat that threatened to strangle her. She knew who you were but doubted you even knew she existed. You were stunning and popular, seemingly out of her league. She felt like a total loser, a nerd invisible to every girl on the planet, except for those weird and jerky dudes she couldnât stand. Her feelings of inadequacy were overwhelming, and you sure made her question her own worth and existence.Â
She saw you every day on campus, a sprawling green space bustling with students. You were always walking around with your group, a bunch of stylish individuals who cared a lot about their appearances, invariably decked out in expensive clothes. You were part of that clique, but she always felt like you were different somehow. Maybe it was how you looked at her on the first day of college when she accidentally bumped into you and made all your books drop to the floor.
Ellie remembered that moment vividly. The campus, with its towering oak trees and vibrant flower beds, had been buzzing with the energy of new beginnings. She had been rushing to her next class, preoccupied with a million different thoughts when she collided with you. Your books scattered across the walkway, and she dropped to her knees, frantically trying to gather them up while mumbling apologies. Your friends' disdainful looks made her cheeks burn with humiliation, but your reaction was entirely different. You crouched down, your fingers brushing against hers as you both reached for the same book, and you gave her a smile that was kind and understanding.
She couldnât help but replay the moment in her mind, wondering if it had meant as much to you as it had to her.Â
Jesseâs constant teasing didnât help. He loved to remind her of her awkwardness, mimicking how she stumbled over her words and nearly fell on her face right in front of you.
And now, seeing you standing there, the auburnette felt that same nervous energy bubbling up again. Your red lifeguard uniform clung to your body like a second skin, making her heart perform a series of pathetic, acrobatic flips. She watched you from a distance, marveling at how effortlessly you moved, how you seemed to command attention without even trying. You were a natural leader, confident and composed, while Ellie felt like a bundle of nerves just trying to keep up. A small part of her that hoped she might get to know you better, to see if that smile you had given her on the first day was a glimpse of something more.
âOh shiii- she works here too?â Ellie looked to her best friend Dina, her eyebrows raised in surprise as she observed your every move. You casually blowing your whistle at a group of kids playing fights with crumbs of bread stood out to her immediately, watching in fascination as you effortlessly kept the children in line.
âYeah, âcourse she does.â Dina couldn't contain a small snort of laughter as she pulled on a vibrant red T-shirt over her red bikini, its vivacious color standing out against her tanned skin. âShe does every year,â she shared, her voice tinged with a hint of amusement. But how could she know this when all she did was immerse herself in gaming, hanging out with friends, and getting high rather than seeking part-time work to earn extra cash like every other 18-year-old?Â
She also found it perplexing that a wealthy individual like you would even bother working in the first place; after all, from what she had heard, you always got whatever you asked for from your father. She guessed that the only possible reasons you might have been working were to become more independent or to seek out something to occupy your time.
âOh.â Her rosy pink lips formed a perfect 'o' shape, her surprise evident in how they parted. âWhy didnât you tell me?â She whispered loudly to her friend.Â
Dina's brow rose quizzically as she placed her hands on her hips. âWhy, did you want to know?â Dina shot Ellie a doubtful look, the same disapproving glance she always gave her whenever Ellie expressed interest in a girl who ultimately turned out to be straight.
The redhead nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders, âNo, butââ she was quick to cut her off before Ellie could come up with an excuse that wouldn't hold water. Her friend could read her like an open book, and she knew certainly what was going on just by witnessing the heart-shaped pupils of Ellie's eyes as they lingered on you from afar.
ââNuh-uh. Youâre just being a delusional lesbian again,â Dina called her out on it, and the freckled girl reacted almost dramatically, gasping at the brunette's accusation.
âDonât give me that look,â she pointed a finger at Ellie, finger jabbing the air like a weapon of accusation. âYou told me to stop you before you started falling for another straight girl, and thatâs exactly what Iâm doing right now. Calling you out on your shit.â Dinaâs voice was firm and uncompromising, her words leaving no space for negotiation or debate. Her eyes, deep pools of golden-hued amber, narrowed into slits, fixed on her friend with a steely gaze. The young girl knew better than to argue with her best friend.
Deep down, Ellie knew Dina was right. Images of her previous ârelationshipâ flashed through her mindâthe heartbreak, the disappointment, the tearsâall because some bi-curious girl had led her on, only to reject her in the end. Who was there to pick up the pieces and put her back together again? None other than Dina, of course. And Jesse, but he wasnât that helpful.
The green-eyed girl crossed her arms over her chest and huffed in response, her frustration evident in her defensive body language. âBut she smiled at me on the first day of college, remember? When I bumped into her and made her drop all her books?â
Dina rolled her eyes and let out a deep sigh, shaking her head in disbelief, she truly couldnât believe how clueless and naive her best friend could be at times, or maybe she just pretended to be dumb as fuck; Dina wasnât sure. âEllie, she was just being nice. That doesnât mean sheâs into you.â frustration colored her voice.
A sigh left the redheadâs lips, her gaze trailing back to you, unable to keep her eyes from checking you out. Seeing you sent her thoughts astray, her heart racing as she studied your features once more. âI know, I know. But a girl can dream, right?â
âYeah, dream away. Just donât get your hopes up too high. Weâve got a job to do, so stop daydreaming about unattainable girls and go get changed.â The black-haired girl demanded, shifting her weight from foot to foot, her arms hanging by her sides.
Ellie nodded, trying to push aside her feelings of infatuation. She knew Dina was right, but it was hard to ignore the fluttering in her chest every time her hazel eyes landed on you.Â
The first day, Jesse showed the auburnette around, explaining all the rules she and everyone else had to followâwhen to yell at people, when to blow the whistle, the regular stuff. Ellie wanted to talk to you, to introduce herself at the very least, considering you were colleagues now, but she didnât have the guts.
How you walked around and carried yourself, it was almost as if you owned the place. You were so confident, and Ellie felt like a creep for not being able to ignore your presence. Her eyes naturally darted towards you, tracing every contour and inch of your exposed body, only covered by a red one-piece swimsuit. You looked like you were coming straight out of Baywatch, looking like every teenage boyâs dream... and hers, too.Â
She felt ashamed for not being any better than a man.
Ellie really tried to focus on what Jesse was saying, but her mind kept drifting back to you. She felt a mix of awe and frustration. How could someone be so effortlessly captivating? The way you moved, the way you interacted with everyoneâit was like you belonged in a different league.
âEllie, you with me?â Jesseâs voice broke through her thoughts.
âUh, yeah, sorry,â she stammered, feeling her cheeks heat up.
Jesse raised an eyebrow but continued. âLike I was saying, just remember to stay alert and donât hesitate to step in if something looks off. Weâve got a good team here, so donât worry.â
Ellie nodded, trying to absorb the information. She glanced at you again, noticing how you seemed completely at ease, chatting and laughing with the other lifeguards. The auburnette envied that ease, that confidence, something she seemed to lack. Ellie always felt out of place in moments like this. She tried not to be so shy and be more easygoing, but your presence felt almost intimidating. She couldnât shake the feeling of inadequacy. You were so stunning, so composed, and she felt like a fucking loser in comparison.
24th of June.
Since she couldnât bring herself to talk to you on the first day, Ellie tried again on the second, encouraged by Jesseâs comforting words, âTry not to look like a drooling loser when you talk to her,â He couldn't help but crack a smile at the almost imperceptible scoff she gave him in response. Her sun-kissed cheeks turned an even deeper shade of pink, making her freckles look like tiny specks of stardust against a rosy sky. It was endearing how easy it was to tease her, and what Jesse found more endearing was how she couldnât tear her attentive eyes away from you, tracking your every move like a hawk eyeing its next meal or an art connoisseur fixated on a masterpieceâalmost as if you were the center of her universe, a celestial body she could orbit but never touch.Â
He knocked his shoulder into hers, sending her stumbling awkwardly and bursting her fragile soap bubble, scattering her thoughts into a chaotic mess. Startled and momentarily yanked out of her little barrier of daydreams and delusions, she mumbled defensively under her breath, âIâm not a loser.â Before she could gather herself, he was already striding away, heading toward a group of kids running around the pool, corralling them like a shepherd with a sharp blow of his whistle.
Her ivy-hued irises followed him for a moment before drifting back to you. You were conversing with an older woman, a beaming smile adorning your face as you nodded at her words every now and then; your hair framed your immaculate features in such a way that Ellie wanted to capture that moment forever. Something about your effortless beauty captivated her; you were so perfect that it made her wonder if you could possibly be real. Could you be just the result of her wild imagination? Possibly, yeah.
Ellie just lingered in the background, waiting patiently for an opportunity to approach you without interrupting your conversation. She had been acting busy, meticulously inspecting the pool to make sure everyone was following the rules, but her eyes kept drifting back to you. She couldnât help it. When she observed you walking towards a plastic chair, sensing her chance, she mustered up her courage and approached you.
Donât be a pussy, donât be a pussy. Ellie repeated the words to herself like a mantra.
Her heart raced wildly as she walked towards you, her mind a whirl of anxious thoughts. What if she stumbled over her words?
With every step she took, the knots in her stomach grew tighter and tighter.
She kept debating with herself, inching closer and closer to you. Honestly, the thought of talking to you was unbearable. She knew sheâd end up looking like a fool. Why was she even trying to get your attention? Wait, was that really her intention? Was she actually planning to make you like her? She huffed at her desperation.
Maybe she could just turn back and pretend you werenât there. Like she didnât see you every day at work.Â
As she continued her internal argument, your voice suddenly snapped her back to reality.
âHey, youâre the new girl,â You exclaimed, taking a confident step toward the freckle-faced girl. She swore she could almost see the confidence pouring out of your every pore, her heart pounding wildly in her chest and palms becoming disgustingly clammy as her cheeks flushed, the relentless sun only making it worse. Being so close to you, Ellie noticed how each strand of your hair swayed with the gentle summer breeze that had decided to bless them on the disturbingly hot summer day.
There was no fucking way you noticed her, no fucking way you were talking to her right now. Ellie forced out a dry, awkward chuckle, âY-yeah. Think thatâs me,â she stumbled over her words, giving you a half-crooked smile, her eyes darting around nervously, avoiding direct eye contact. She felt ridiculous for not being able to maintain steady eye contact. Why did she have to be so embarrassing? Why was talking to pretty girls so fucking hard?
âYeah,â you responded with a steady tone, in stark contrast to her shaky and almost timid voice. Your gaze shamelessly roamed over every inch of her, taking in every detail from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. A barely audible hum escaped your lips, âEllen, right?â you inquired, your eyes locking briefly before the aubrunette looked away again.
âEllie,â she corrected you shyly, her slender fingers absentmindedly tracing delicate patterns on the back of her neck.
âWhy, what did I say?â you questioned nonchalantly, still studying her. She felt small and insignificant under your scrutinizing gaze, almost judged. All of a sudden, she felt so self-conscious about her looks.
âNothing,â she mumbled, snorting quietly. Uncertain of what to do next and feeling almost scared of contradicting you, she hesitantly reached out her hand toward you. Your inquisitive eyes locked onto her veiny hand, studying it for a few moments before finally shaking it. âNice to meet you.âÂ
Starstruck eyes stared right back at yours, and a wide grin that never left her face. She felt a rush of adrenaline pumping through her veins as she held your hand, letting it linger a bit longer than necessary, though too lost in a world of her own to notice. After a whole semester pining over you on campus, watching you from afar like a Joel Goldberg, she finally found herself face-to-face with you, engaged in a real conversation. She had been waiting for this moment for a lifetime, almost, feeling truly seen and known by you for the very first time.
A slow smile crept across your face, and your gaze dropped down to her hand, which was still firmly attached to yours in a stubborn grip like a tenacious octopus refusing to let go. âDonât get attached,â Your jest had a confident, almost boastful tone, causing her heart to skip a beat.
Were you making fun of her? Was she making a fool of herself? Her mind quickly became consumed by overthinking. It was absurd; how could she draw such strong conclusions after just two minutes of conversation with you? Three minutes was enough to send her thoughts into a tempestuous cyclone, their rhythm erratic and tumultuous. She told herself that she was simply overthinking, but sometimes, it's easy to mistake intuition for overthinking.
The nervous girl forced out a strained, strangled chuckle, âIâll try not to,â she said, attempting to match your casual tone, even though her heart was still racing.
You laughed softly, a sound that seemed to echo in her mind long after you walked away. Ellie stood there for a moment, trying to steady her breath and slow down her chaotic thoughts. Her eyes darted towards Dina, who stood nearby with a smirk on her face, arms crossed over her chest and leaning nonchalantly against the bar wall. Her long, dark brown hair was tied up in a high, sleek ponytail, and she casually chewed on a piece of gum, observing the entire encounter with a mixture of amusement and appraisal.
âSee? That wasnât so hard, was it?â Dina teased her friend, walking over to her.
Ellie rolled her eyes but couldnât help smiling. âYeah, sure. Piece of cake,â she muttered, though the adrenaline still coursed through her veins.
As the day continued, Ellie found herself glancing at you more often than sheâd like to admit. Each time she saw you, she felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. She couldnât shake the gut feeling that this summer was going to be different.
28th of June.
Ellie sighed in relief as she sought refuge under the closest patch of shade she could find. The scorching sun was relentless, turning her into a messy canvas for glistening beads of sweat to trickle down her dotted face and back. The air felt heavy and stagnant, intensifying the already stifling heat. It seemed like the sun had a personal vendetta against her today, making every little thing feel ten times more irritating.
Like you, for example.
Being around you was a source of never-ending irritation for her, and she despised the fact that she had to share the same airspace with you. It was an injustice in her eyes, how your stunning good looks did not reflect your unpleasant personality. How could looks be so fucking deceiving? Ellie had no clue, all she knew was that she fell for it. Every. Single. Time.
The fury inside her was like an uncontrollable wildfire as she aggressively scribbled over your name with her pen in her journal. If only it were that easy to erase you completely, to make you vanish as if you had never existed. Feeling completely dumb for even remotely thinking that you could be any different from the people you hung out with. Every time she had to interact with you, the only thoughts echoing in her mind were Dina's warning words.Â
Dina was right.
But Ellie would never say it out loud only to get an âI told youâ back.
Everyone had warned her about youâthey all knew the truth about your character, yet she found herself stubbornly holding onto the belief that there was something more to you than just the surface-level impression. If she were to add your name to a list of defining terms, it would undoubtedly be accompanied by words like âevil,ââspoiled,â or even the simplest yet most descriptive term, âbrat.â
Working with you was a constant nightmare; even being in the same vicinity as you felt like torturous purgatory. You seemed incapable of restraining yourself, constantly throwing witty, biting remarks to the anxious girl, even when she hadn't provoked you in any way. It perplexed herâwhy did you take such pleasure in taunting her? It was as if the world itself would implode if you didnât pick on her despite the seemingly nonexistent reasons behind your hostility. She often found herself rambling about you to her friends. This time, though, not in a good way.
Talking to you felt like a return to the nightmarish experience that was middle school, a trip down memory lane that brought back memories she had worked so hard to forget. The bullying she had endured during that period had left a lasting impact on her, and your presence seemed to trigger something in her. It was for that exact reason that she tried her best to keep any interactions with you brief, limited to the bare essentials.
She watched as you sprang from your seat, sprinting after the kids, yelling at them, the shrill sound of your annoying whistle piercing the air. Threats flew from your mouth, aimed at their misbehavior and disruption of the poolâs tranquility. The best part? No one seemed to care about your passive-aggressive attitude because, letâs face it, you were just doing your job, and you were pretty damn good at itâpretty damn good at scaring people.
Ellieâs eyes took in the kids' terrified faces as they looked up at you, wide-eyed and quivering, but you didnât care. Their fear didnât stop you from messing with their childish, naive minds. Their innocence was like a delicate flower, easily manipulated. If Ellie claimed she didn't find it amusing, her nose wouldâve grown like Pinocchioâs. It was almost comical how easily you maintained order, seemingly without effort. You possessed a natural inclination for control, a characteristic that could be a strength or a flaw, depending on one's perspective.Â
âYou know what happens if you run on a wet floor? You slip and hit your head,â you barked, hands firmly planted on your hips. âIs that what you two little gremlins want? To end up in a hospital with a cracked skull?â The kids darted off to their mothers, who were too engrossed in their own conversations to notice. You scoffed, watching them scamper away like puppies with their tails between their legs. Crossing your arms over your red bikini top, you muttered, âThatâs what I thought,â a smirk curling your lips. It was almost as if you derived some twisted satisfaction from seeing othersâespecially kidsâtremble in fear. There was an ever-present sadistic delight in your eyes whenever someone dared to cross your path, a blend of authority and mischief that made you the unchallenged queen of the poolside.
Ellie only ever saw a warm smile on your face when you were talking to the moms of the kids you had scared away in such a devilish manner. You transformed around them, becoming overly sugary-sweet, showering them with compliments and shooting wide grins their way. Your demeanor softened, offering them drinks as if you were hosting a garden party instead of working at a public pool.
The redhead scoffed as she tried to decipher your persona. You were a walking contradiction, a goddess clad in a red bikini. One moment, you were a menacing warden, barking orders and traumatizing kids; the next, you were a social butterfly, all warm smiles and saccharine charm with their moms. So fucking weird.
Ellie didnât expect you to notice her presence not so far behind you, but nothing ever seemed to escape your attention. You were like a hawk, sharply observant, contrasting your superficial personality. Then again, maybe it was all an act you were putting on. Ellie marveled at the paradox of your natureâhow you seemed so frivolous and charming on the surface yet were always acutely aware of everything happening around you. It was as if you had a second set of eyes hidden behind your back, always watching, always calculating, leaving her to wonder what was real and what was merely a façade.
âWhat? Got something to say?â Your voice was anything but friendly, ready to spark an argument over nothing. Your arched brows seemed to challenge her, daring her to complain or speak her mind in any way.Â
Maybe she should just drop it before you could escalate things. Ellie wasn't in the mood for meaningless bickering, especially not under the blazing sun, sweating like a cow.Â
But sometimes, her body loved to betray her.
âThat was just a little bit harsh, is all,â the words slipped out before she could stop them, only realizing she'd spoken aloud when your expression shifted to a mocking smirk.
âPardon?â You challanged, daring her to continue. She knew you had heard her perfectly; if you had caught her scoff a few seconds ago, there was no way you missed her comment now. The awkward girl knew what you were doingâtrying to make her feel small and stupid for speaking up.
She couldn't back down now.
Ellie gulped, nerves tightening in her stomach, but stood her ground. âItâs just... theyâre kids, you know?â Her voice wavered slightly, but she held your gaze, determined not to let you intimidate her.
âAnd?â You looked at her like she was exaggerating, as if she had been the one yelling at kids for having fun, threatening to call the police on them, or telling them she'd hijack their Christmas gifts from Santa and sell them on the black market.
Ellie knew there was no point in arguing or trying to tell you off, so she shook her head slowly, her eyes glued to the wet mosaic tiles. An airy chuckle escaped her lips as she replied, âNothing.â
But of course, you didnât drop it. âWe gotta make sure peopleâespecially kidsâdonât get hurt, and if you donât yell at them, theyâre just going to keep doing itâthatâs how kids are,â you justify your actions without a hint of remorse in your voice or on your face. The freckled girl knew you were right, but she tended to be softer with kids.
Ellie loved kids and swore nothing was better than being young, carefree, and without worries beyond your favorite toys and your best friend. Sometimes, she missed being a kid, even if she still felt like one deep down. Perhaps the fact that Joel kept treating her like one didnât help. Always spamming her with texts, asking if she had eaten when she wasnât home, staying out all day. Asking her a thousand questions at a time, enough to make her brain short-circuit.
âYou terrified them!â Ellie exclaimed, though an involuntary laugh slipped out with her words, causing you to smirk ever so slightly.
âOh, sorry, Eleonor,â you taunted, deliberately getting her name wrong as you stepped closer. âHow âbout you teach me your ways?â Sarcasm dripped from your voice as your eyes locked with hers. For once, the green-eyed girl managed not to look away; your eyes were so animated and clever, like a fox's gaze, giving off the impression that you were always one step ahead and knew more than you let on.
Ellieâs expression dropped as soon as âherâ name rolled off your tongue. You were trying to get under her skin, as always, and despite it being something so insignificant, it worked wonders. The fact that you were invading her personal space didn't help either. âItâs Ellie,â she puffed.
âOh, I thought it was short for Eleonor,â you said mockingly.
âNope, just Ellieââs not short for anything,â she replied, her tone tinged with annoyance, causing you to grin like the Cheshire cat. God, if you loved getting her worked up, having her wrapped around your finger, and messing with her mood so easily. It was endearing, truly.
âHmm⌠dunno, I like Eleonor better, though,â you insisted with a cheeky grin. Your voice took on a more sultry tone. Or had she imagined it? Maybe she had.
Ellie had heard that being under the sun for too long could cause hallucinations and general sickness, and she was already sweating like crazy. That was her explanation, because why in the world would you ever try to flirt with her?
âWell, âs not my name,â she insisted.
The tanned girlâs chest expanded as her breath caught in her throat as you drew nearer with each passing moment. You inched so close that she could almost discern the individual strands of your eyelashes that cast shadows on her cheeks, the way your bottom lip tucked between your teeth. Your intense gaze, focused and persistent, traced the contours of her cheeks.Â
Entranced, Ellie found her emerald eyes involuntarily drawn to your lips, merely inches away from hers. Unconsciously, she moistened her own lips, utterly captivated as she absorbed every pore and mole on your skin, revering every aspect of your being, whether flaw or perfection, with unwavering devotion in her mind. You were insanely beautiful; it was almost unfair.Â
You extended your hand to cup her cheek gently, your thumb dragging across her cheekbone, spreading the sunscreen she had hastily applied in the morning. Ellie instinctively flinched at the unexpected contact. âYou can't even apply sunscreen correctly,â you sneered, your voice dripping with mockery, before abruptly withdrawing and turning on your heel, leaving her standing there completely bewildered and disoriented.
What the fuck?
She spotted her dear best friend Dina, and Ellie ran up to her, eager to spill everything that had happened. A weird frustration churned inside her, a knot in her stomach that seemed to tighten as she rambled on and on about how obnoxious you were. She was down bad and wasnât fooling anyone.
âLike- what the hell is her proââ but Dina had enough.
âJesus, get a grip, Ellie! Canât you see Iâm busy? You donât get paid to act like a schoolgirl,â Dina groaned deeply, her manicured hands moving swiftly as she folded the pastel-colored towels, her eyes glued to her agitated friend. The cinnamon-haired girl had been caught in a continuous rant for the last 30 minutes, carelessly stumbling into Dina and disrupting her work as she paced around in a flustered manner.
Ellie groaned deeply in return, almost indignant at Dinaâs reaction. How could she brush her off like this instead of offering comfort and reassuring words? Isnât that what friends are supposed to do? Well, she had been, but at some point, the brunette grew tired of repeating herself over and over.
âI just donât understand!â Ellie exclaimed furiously, her voice raising just enough to draw the attention of a few people sitting on the poolâs edge. To top it off, when she gestured, her hands knocked into the drinks Jesse was carrying as he approached the two girls from behind. Luckily, the cups were plastic, but the tray was thicker, causing a disturbing noise as it clattered on the mosaic. Ellieâs verdant emeralds widened, and she whipped around, cursing under her breath, âShit, Jesse!â
She mumbled a flurry of apologies to the taller guy as she crouched down to help with the mess she had inadvertently caused. Her bare knees pressed against the cool, wet mosaic as her hands quickly gathered the plastic cups, stacking them one by one. As she fumbled to collect the scattered paper umbrellas, now lying crumpled on the moist floor, she placed them back on the tray, her movements slightly clumsy. Her chest tightened with embarrassment at the scene she had created.
âThe fuckâs going on with you, man?â Jesseâs eyes scanned her face, confused.
âHer little girlfriend! Thatâs what happened,â his girlfriend exclaimed, completely fed up.
âOh my god, Dina!â Ellie groaned, exasperated.
Jesse, being his usual self, furrowed his unplucked brows together. A quizzical expression took over his features, âYou got a girlfriend?â he asked, bewildered, which seemed to throw Dina off even more, the confusion in his voice only adding fuel to the fire.Â
The brunette shook her head, facepalming herself with an exasperated sigh. âIâm done,â she declared before walking away from the two, leaving them staring after her. She had been acting a little lunatic the whole day; maybe she was on her period. Ellie didnât know. Or maybe it was because she had clumsily dropped Dinaâs phone into the pool exactly three hours ago, the same phone she had worked so hard to get because her old one was falling apart like the Pisa tower. But hey, it was still working!
âWho? Cat?â the taller boy suddenly asked, breaking the silence that had settled between them. He redirected his attention back to his friend, and for a moment, all she could do was scoff. She couldn't believe he had actually brought up a girl she dated over three years ago.Â
Ellie looked at him in disbelief, her heart-shaped lips slightly agape as if she was about to say something, ready to go off on him, but decided against it at the last moment. âTypical Jesse,â she thought to herself. He knew everything because he always hung out with them, and if he didnât, his girlfriend made sure to keep him in the loop. Plus, Ellie had a habit of rambling about every girl who kept her up at night, so it was impossible to miss or forget. But that's just how Jesse wasâblissfully oblivious and fucking clueless.Â
Ellie shook her head and sighed deeply before walking off as well.
âWhy? What did I say?â He called out after her, his voice raised just enough to catch her attention. He watched as she stalked away, her irritation clear in the way she carried herself. He was left standing there, looking lost and utterly baffled, with a plastic tray in his hand.
30th of June.
It wasnât long until another girl joined the team. Ellie was now responsible for introducing the new member and orienting her to the job. She meticulously explained all the rules and how everything worked, ensuring the new girl was well-prepared and well-trained for the job. Otherwise, youâd be on her ass about it, blaming the auburnette for any mistakes, just like you normally did.Â
Ellie was initially hesitant, nervously stumbling over her words and avoiding the girlâs Lapis lazuli gaze. However, as time passed, she began to feel more at ease in the blonde's presence. Alexis exuded sweetness and was undeniably beautiful. They found their usual spot by the lifeguard station, sitting side by side and engaging in conversations that meandered through various topics. As they talked, their gazes wandered idly across the bustling pools, and a gentle breeze enveloped them, offering a pleasant sensation on their sun-warmed skin.
The weather was perfect. The gentle breeze kept the air just the right temperature, and the sunshine was warm without being too intense. Fluffy white clouds floated by, offering a welcome break from the direct sunlight. Their billowing forms shielded the freckled girl from the harsh rays that might otherwise have left her fair skin burnt and uncomfortable.
She had not set out intending to forge new friendships that summer. Although It felt too soon to label Alexis as a friend, she didnât mind the possibility of meeting new people. Though she treasured her current friends, there were times when she craved the fresh energy that came with forming new connections. She recognized that stepping out of her comfort zone and meeting new faces could bring a welcome change, and she needed to âexpand her social horizonsââJoelâs words.
However, you didnât waste a second. You quickly disrupted Ellieâs fleeting moment of peace, shouting her name loudly and incessantly. Initially, she tried to ignore you, hoping you would give up and leave her be. But you persisted, standing by the bar, leaning against the counter, and chanting her name. When she feigned deafness, you resorted to using your trusty megaphone, the latest object of your obsession, employing it for seemingly every trivial matter.
"Eleanor Williams!â
She closed her eyes and cringed inwardly as her cheeks flushed a bright pink, embarrassed by the unwanted attention she was receiving from the onlookers around her. Their confused glances only added to her discomfort, making her wish for the ground to swallow her up on the spot.
Why did you have to be like this? She stopped asking herself that at some point.
Alexis furrowed her perfectly arched brows, her crystal blue eyes filled with puzzlement as she gazed at Ellie. Her head tilted gracefully to the side, highlighting her confusion as she asked, âWhoâs Eleanor?â
âItâs me.â Ellie let out a heavy sigh, slowly rising from her pristine plastic chair, her gaze shifting downwards to the small, delicate figure of the girl before her, muttering, âBe right back,âÂ
She strode cautiously towards you, avoiding eye contact with everyone looking at her. Every step she took brought her closer to you, but your relentless shouting through the megaphone continued unabated.Â
âHow many times do I have to shout your name?â You stood with an air of drama, waving your hands in sweeping arcs above you. Your body swayed gently as you shifted your weight to one foot, and your free hand found its place resting comfortably on your hip.
âOnce was enough,â Ellie replied flatly. The tension in her expression hinted at the internal dialogue she had engaged in as if she had carefully composed herself, steeling her mind and heart for whatever was coming.
âThe fuck are you doing?â You stood there, gazing blankly at her. A hand rested on your left hip, mirroring the other hand on your right hip. The white megaphone was wedged against your side, the loose laces of the bottom of your bikini swaying gently in the breeze.
âWhat do you mean?âÂ
âWhy are you just sitting there doing absolutely nothing?â you demanded, cutting her off as she tried to reply. âSee those ladies over there? They ordered four diet cokes.â
âAnd?â She pressed her lips together, her eyebrows furrowing as she stared at you, confused.
âSo get them their drinksâGosh! Are you, like, stupid?â You exclaimed with annoyance, the frustration evident in your voice. Ellieâs brows, marked with scars, furrowed as she prepared to engage in a heated argument. âYou⌠drinks⌠ladies over there⌠diet coke. Understand?â With a slow and exaggerated mocking tone, as if talking to an alien from outer space.
Ellieâs veiny arms were tightly crossed over her vibrant red t-shirt, creating a striking contrast against her fair skin. A look of determination furrowed her brow, her cheeks flushing as red as a ripe tomato, betraying her attempt to maintain composure and not cause any scene. âIâm a lifeguard,â she reminded you.
You couldn't help but stifle a dry chuckle as the corners of your lips curled up into a smile at her statement, practically laughing in her face. Stepping closer to her, you couldn't contain your amusement, âLook,â you said with a grin, your eyes fixated on the pool. The vibrant scene unfolded before youâchildren playing and swimming while adults engaged in animated conversations.Â
Ellie turned around, following your gaze, and then turned her face back to yours, clearly not comprehending what you were referring to. âLook at what?â She found herself unable to resist the urge to question you again, the slight edge of irritation creeping into her voice, her patience wearing thin with each passing moment.
âExactlyâno oneâs drowning.â You pointed to the lively pool, the laughter and chatter filling the air. Her gaze remained fixed on the scene before her, and her peripheral vision tracked you as you leaned in close to her. Your warm breath tickled the side of her neck, and she involuntarily shivered at the sensation. The auburnette froze in place, feeling your face mere inches away from her ear, âYouâre not just a lifeguard. Youâre whatever I want you to be,â you said, your voice a sinister hiss in her ear, each word dripping with venomous mockery. The corners of your mouth curled upwards into a prideful grin, your eyes gleaming with dark satisfaction as you reveled in your power over her. She fought the urge to wipe that irritating expression off your stupid face. You were extremely gorgeous but so insanely maddening at the same time.
She clenched her jaw in frustration, her gaze following you as you sauntered away to talk to an older woman who was a regular at the pool with her child. Her self-admonishment grew when she caught herself checking you out, her eyes taking in the softness of your thighs, hips, and the inviting roundness of your ass. She hated herself even more for her bodyâs instinctive reaction to such a vision, a mixture of conflicting emotions coursing through her.
4th Of July.
The day was oppressively hot, and the pool was more crowded than usual, adding to the chaos. Ellie constantly moved back and forth, attending to tasks she had not anticipated having to do. When she applied for the job, she had envisioned a laid-back role where she could relax, sit on her ass and move only when necessary. Cause the chances of anyone drowning in a pool were very low, letâs be realistic. Instead, you proved her wrong, forcing trusting her with responsibilities that didnât belong on her shoulders.
What truly frustrated her was how you remained still, doing absolutely nothing, while constantly barking orders and yelling at everyone around you. It drove the green-eyed girl crazy to witness how effortlessly you directed others without lifting a finger yourself.
Ellie collected the empty beer cans two men had left on the black countertop, wiping sweat from her forehead with her other arm, baby hairs sticking to her damp skin. She couldnât help but scoff as she observed you from a distance. You were near the pool, lounging casually on a towel with your arms propping you up behind your back, engaged in animated conversation with your friends. You giggled loudly every now and then, amused by the hurtful comments your friends made about people who remained blissfully unaware of their disdainful stares.
Judgmental snakes that acted as if no one could measure up to or surpass them. It absolutely infuriated her. She loathed how you and those kids seemed to effortlessly receive everything you desired on a silver platter, while average people like her had to labor relentlessly for anything she hoped to achieve in her life.
It wasn't actually the wealth itself that angered her; rather, it was the blatant arrogance and smugness you all displayed, as if being wealthy automatically made you superior individuals with no moral values or empathy for anyone else.
Nevertheless, you had stunned her with your choice of attire that dayâa two-piece bikini that revealed your captivating figure. Despite feeling frustrated that she couldn't catch a break while you lounged around doing nothing, she couldn't help but admire your otherworldly physique. Yet, it was wrong to feel that way about a piece of shit like you.
âGlad someoneâs keeping her busy,â Alexisâ voice acted like an invisible tug on Ellie's sleeve, pulling her back from her thoughts. The freckled girl shook her head as if trying to clear her mind and curiously responded with a quiet âhm?â
âToo busy shit-talking with her friends to be up our ass,â The honey-haired girl carefully adjusted her hair, tucking a stray piece of golden hair behind her pierced ear. Ellie couldnât help but quietly chuckle at the girlâs remark, responding with a warm smile and a subtle bob of her head.
âRight? I donât understand how they havenât kicked her out yet; she does nothing all day!â she complained as the blonde behind the countertop meticulously cleaned up the spill on the sleek black marble surface, casting a quizzical gaze in her direction.
âKick who out?â
âHer.â Ellie leaned her forearms on the countertop, her gaze locked onto her blue ones.
Alexis let out a scoff and gave her a look âWhy would her father kick her out?â Ellieâs eyes widened in surprise, her voice strangled as she almost choked on the air she was breathing. The incredulity in her expression was palpable, a clear indication that she had no fucking clue.
âWhatâd you say?â She questioned tentatively, inwardly hoping that her ears were merely playing tricks on her. The disbelief in her voice was evident as she tried to make sense of the shocking revelation she had just heard.
âShe owns this placeâyou didnât know?â Alexis asked in disbelief, speaking as if the information were common knowledge, which made it all the more surprising that Ellie was unaware of it.
But given your wealthy background and how you carried yourself, it suddenly made perfect sense. Everything fell into place. Your commanding presence wasn't just a show of authorityâyou actually owned this entire establishment. You weren't striving to save money for some personal goal as Ellie had assumed; rather, you were here because your family had ownership over the pool, the spa nearby, and every other facility in this area.
âDude, I had no fucking clue,â she uttered, flabbergasted, her emerald green eyes darting in your direction as a gentle breeze played with the soft, auburn strands of her hair, tickling her face.Â
The freckled girl observed the scene unfolding before her, her eyes fixed on the tall, muscular guy approaching your small group, a golden retriever trotting loyally at his side. Despite his sunglasses, she could sense his gaze fixated on you, and when you stood up to greet him, she watched your lips move but couldn't discern any words. Her thoughts were interrupted by Alexis's rambling, but her attention quickly shifted back to you as the guy started to engage in conversation with you, her stomach twisting in a strange flutter of unease.
âAre dogs even allowed in here?â was the first thing Ellie grumbled, her irritation evident as she interrupted her friend's rambling monologue. It was clear that she wasn't really paying attention to what was being said, her mind preoccupied with other thoughts.
âPshhâwhen I wanted to bring my dog in here, she said I couldn't.â Alexis huffed, passing a popsicle to the young boy who had approached and requested it. A small grin tugged at the corners of his mouth before storming off with his little brother. âHad to leave my Nana home with-â But Ellie wasn't having it. She was already storming towards you, her green eyes flashing with anger and determination. You had alwas doled out rules yet seemed to disregard them yourself. She didn't care if you owned the place and had the authority to do as you pleased. As far as she was concerned, you needed to adhere to the standards you had set, and she was determined to make that happen⌠and she wanted that guy gone.Â
Your two friends remained laid out on their towels, one sipping on a cocktail and the other engaged in a gossip session, their conversation marked by animated gestures. However, as Ellie approached, they immediately took notice. This time, she paid no mind to their gazes, instead stomping up to stand just behind you, her arms crossed in a defensive stance. Meanwhile, you were oblivious to her presence, completely unaware of her lurking behind you.
You knelt down to give the guy's dog some attention, running your fingers through its soft fur and scratching behind its ears. You continued to pet the dog, a sweet smile gracing your lips, âSuch a cute fuckinâ dog, arenât ya?â Ellie listened as you let out a low chuckle, your voice dropping into a silly tone as you spoke to the dog. The pup seemed to perk up at your voice, tilting her head slightly to the side as you found the sweet spot behind her ear, causing her to lean into your touch and let out a soft whine. âLike owner, like dog.â You looked up at the guy, your voice taking on a more flirtatious tone than Ellie had ever heard you use before. Your eyes sparkled with a hint of innocence as you slowly stood back up.
The sleazy guy chuckled, a gravelly sound that echoed into Ellie's ears, threatening to make them bleed. It was incredible how, with just a hint of attention, you made him feel like he'd struck gold in a barren desert. You barely gave him the time of day, but that sliver of acknowledgment had him grinning like heâd just hit the jackpot.Â
The boyâs eyes were glued to your chest, drooling over your perfect goddamn tits as if he'd discovered a hidden treasure in the most unexpected place. You were a twisted goddess of fortune, and he was more than happy to worship, soaking up every precious moment with a grin that said heâd do anything to stay in this heavenly hell. But all you needed was his weed, and while he was fantasizing about you, you were already thinking of dumping his ass when you didn't need him anymore.Â
âWhatâs her name?â You flashed him a charming smile as you spoke, tilting your head slightly to one side as you looked up at him with a coy expression.
âNelly,â He replied, pulling up his sunglasses, his brown eyes devouring every curve of your body without a hint of shame. He was eye-fucking you like it was just another day, and Ellie felt the bile rise in her throat. Men never ceased to amaze her; they were all disgusting, perverted assholes hiding behind a thin veil of chill and manners. What pissed her off even more was that you were letting it happen. You were into it. You reveled in the attention, loving every second of being liked, as if his filthy gaze was some kind of twisted validation.Â
Was that what you needed? Validation?
Ellie decided to chime in, clearing her throat loudly. Your head snapped her way, surprise lighting up your sun-kissed features. Your carefully styled hair tumbling down your backâjust one of the many things about you that baffled her. Why the hell would you spend time styling your hair every morning just to go to the pool? The heat and sweat would mess it up anyway. It was like trying to keep a snowman from melting in a sauna, completely pointless, but somehow, you did it every damn day.
âDogs arenât allowed.â The aburnette firmly stated, her words hanging in the air, drawing confused looks from you and the guy as if she were speaking a different language. But Ellie didnât give a damn; she was just doing her job. Her mission was to keep everyone in line, making sure the rules were followed to the letter. Thatâs what your daddy was paying her for, right?Â
You quickly brushed off her statement, returning your attention to the guy before you. âNelly, huh?â you questioned with a wide smile, your eyes flicking to the dog patiently sitting at her ownerâs feet. Her golden fur gleamed under the sunlight, her eyes a beautiful honey color.Â
Ellie didnât have anything against the dog; she loved dogs and had always wanted one. But that dude needed to fuck off. She couldnât even put her finger on why she felt this way, so irritated and annoyed, like an itch she couldnât scratch. The sight of you flirting with that douchebag made her blood boil, leaving her wondering why it all pissed her off so much.
âJust like my friend here.â You suddenly exclaimed, your fake, cheerful voice, cutting through the tense atmosphere and snapping Ellie out of her turbulent thoughts.Â
âMy nameâs notââ she began, but you shut her off, waving a dismissive hand in her direction.
âYeah, yeah. Nelly, Ellie⌠same thing,â you scoffed, your eyes still locked on the guy by the pool. âSo I was sayingâŚâ Your voice dropped to a sultry whisper as you bit your lip, scanning him up and down, fingers gently tracing the contours of his strong arm. âIâll see you tonight?â
âYeah,â he murmured, eyes shamelessly glued to your cleavage, never quite making it to your face.
âDogs arenâtââ Ellie tried again, her voice a persistent drone in the background.
âDonât forget my stuff,â you whispered in his ear. You batted your lashes at him as you pulled back, your gaze locking with his. Ellieâs disgusted glare darted between you and him, her lips pressed into a tight line.
âI wonât. See you later?âÂ
âHmm-hmm. See you later, handsome.â Your voice was honey-sweet, dripping with fake affection, and the guy seemed utterly spellbound, his eyes never straying from your body.
Ellie huffed loudly, the sound almost lost in the noise of the poolside chatter, and you turned to face her, annoyance flashing across your features. You reached for the expensive sunglasses dangling from your bikini top and slid them on with practiced ease.
âJesus, Ellen, got nothing better to do?â you grumbled, your tone laced with irritation and disdain.
âDogs arenât allowed,â Ellie repeated, her voice steady but tinged with frustration. She stood there, arms crossed, an immovable wall of resolve.
âAre you done? Because youâre starting to behave like a bot. Maybe hanging out with Alexa over there is rubbing off on you,â you sneered, turning your back on her with a dismissive wave. You strolled back to your friends, who were whispering among themselves, their eyes darting towards Ellie with thinly veiled amusement.
She turned away, ready to resume her duties, but your voice, dripping with venom, sliced through her ears.
âHave you seen her?â one of your friends giggled, their voice a conspiratorial whisper.
âSheâs so embarrassing, oh my god,â another chimed in, their laughter bubbling up like champagne.
âEmbarrassing is an understatement,â you commented without missing a beat, your voice carrying a sharp edge.Â
Ellie could feel the sting of your words, each one like a tiny drop of acid, smoldering away her already fragile self-esteem. She knew your cruel comments spared no one, yet hurt still bloomed in her chest, a dull ache that refused to fade. You loosed a laugh, a sound that blended sweet melody with sinister intent, leaving her captivated and repulsed. The echoes of your laugh, mingled with the cruel whispers of your friends, reverberated in her mind, morphing into a haunting, chilling soundtrack to her nightmares as she made her way back to her busy friend behind the counter.
âHowâd it go?â Alexis questioned, her voice tinged with genuine concern as she handed Ellie a cup of sweetened tea. The blonde girl's eyes roamed across Ellie's face, taking in the tense, almost pained expression that twisted her features, preparing herself for the worst.Â
âAmazing,â Ellie responded with a hefty helping of sarcasm, quickly downing the drink. She then slumped onto a stool at the bar, her elbows roughly digging into the cold, unyielding surface of the marble counter.
The shorter girl behind the bar chuckled softly, her laughter a soothing balm in the tense atmosphere. âYou coming tonight?â
A look of perplexity etched on her face. The line marring her brow looked like a work of art that the blue-eyed friend couldnât help but admire. âComing where?â
âIn your underwearââ Alexis deadpanned, before bursting into snorts of laughter at Ellieâs flushed cheeks, her reaction priceless. âTo the party,â The silken strands of hair framing her face bounced as she spoke more seriously, her hands deftly collecting cups left by the sink, preparing to give them a proper wash.
âParty?â
âThe whole staff is invited,â the blonde explained, her voice a melodic mix of excitement and mischief. âBut no annoying kids around; The Bitch said we can use the pool.â Ellie couldnât help but let out a small, crooked smile of her own at the name her friend had bestowed upon you. âYou should come, Ellie. Itâll be fun,â Her voice was full of genuine enthusiasm as she scrubbed the cups with vigor, the water splashing slightly.
The redhead shrugged, still feeling the sting of your earlier words. âI donât know, Lex. Iâm not really in the mood.â Truth was that she didnât want to spend a second more around you, especially outside work.
Alexis paused, her hands resting on the edge of the sink, eyes locking onto her friendâs. âHey, donât let her get to you. Sheâs just... Well, you know how she is. Come to the party, have some fun.â
She sighed again, the tension slowly easing from her shoulders. âMaybe. Weâll see.â
âAtta girl,â she grinned, resuming her task with renewed energy. âTrust me, youâll feel better after a few drinks and a good swim.â
Ellie chuckled softly, the corners of her lips twitching upwards. Maybe Alexis was right. Maybe a night of fun was exactly what she needed to shake off the dayâs negativity. The thought of the party, with its promise of laughter and freedom, was a small but welcome spark of light in the otherwise dark cloud of her thoughts. She sure as hell wasnât going to let you ruin her day.
4th of July, The evening.
Ellie despised parties and loathed crowds even more, as they left her feeling left out and isolated in an unfamiliar environment. She longed to escape back to the comfort of her home, but that choice was unfortunately not an option for her tonight. The pale girl ended up giving in because of Dina and Alexis, who insisted so much that Ellie finally relented. She was almost physically dragged to the same pool where she worked, but this time for a different reason. It was to have fun and actually enjoy the pool, something she rarely did.
The pool was enormous, the kind that looked like only the wealthy could access, but luckily, it wasnât expensive to spend a weekend there. The pool area was beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and elegant lounge chairs neatly arranged around the perimeter. It was a stark contrast to Ellieâs usual experience of scanning the water for trouble and scolding unruly kids.
She was almost happy to be there to enjoy some fresh air and lounge by the pool instead of acting like a barista and waitressâa job she had not signed up for. The redhead took a deep breath, feeling the warm sun on her skin, watching the water sparkle under the midday sun, inviting and cool. Maybe this wouldnât be so bad. The air was filled with the scent of sunscreen and chlorine, a familiar but somehow more pleasant combination today.
The group of friends settled into their lounge chairs, and Ellie let herself relax, her freckled shoulders sinking into the cushioned seat. For once, she didnât have to worry about keeping an eye on everyone. She could just be a regular person enjoying a day by the pool.
The afternoon slowly turned to evening as the group passed around drinks and joints, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Ellie sat at the pool's edge, letting her feet dangle in the cool water, engrossed in a lively conversation with Dina and Alexis, who were seated beside her. The setting sun painted the sky with a golden hue, casting a warm glow over them.Â
She had only taken a few hits off her joint, and already, she couldnât focus on anything but your thighs. The way those shorts hugged your hips and left the soft skin of your thighs exposed for everyone to see was simply captivating. They looked as soft as silk. You wore nothing on top but a black bikini, your crop top on one of the empty lounge chairs nearby.Â
All noiseâthe incessant chattering of her friends and random people you had invitedâfaded into the background. You were the only thing that mattered. The way you moved, talked, and gave that stupid jerk sitting by your side a charming grin that surely made him believe he somehow stood a chance drove Ellie crazy.Â
What a dick, she thought to herself.Â
Ellieâs friends continued to talk and laugh, oblivious to her inner turmoil. Her eyes flickered to her friends and then back to you. You passed a joint to Ryan, who took it eagerly, his eyes glued to your face for once.
It was as clear as day that Ryan wanted to fuck you right there and then. Ellie recognized the look in his eyes; it was the same one she had whenever she looked at youâor so Dina claimed. But you were so hypnotizing. The way your plush wet lips wrapped around the joint, taking big hits like it was nothingâno coughing, no hesitation. It wasnât your first time.
Ellie observed the brown-eyed boy attentively, almost maniacally, noting how his eyes never left your tits. And how you didnât seem to mind. You almost seemed at ease with the knowledge of being liked, desired. That also meant free weed for everyone. She watched you laugh, the sound like a siren call that cut through the buzz around her. The besotten girl couldn't tear her eyes away from the way your hair fell over your shoulders, catching the last light of the setting sun, giving you an almost angelic glow. You seemed so comfortable, so effortlessly part of this world of social interactions and causal flirtations. You wore your confidence like a second skin, and Ellie found herself drawn to it, like a moth who gravitated towards danger without second thought.
Seeing Ryan, who sat next to you, soaking up your attention, caused a pang of jealousy to hit Ellie. She longed to be the person who held all of your attention, but instead, she was just an outsider looking in.Â
The evening air grew cooler, but Ellie hardly noticed, her focus remained solely fixed on you. The world around her seemed to blur, and all she could see was the curve of your lips, the softness of your skin, the sparkle in your eyes. She took another drag from her joint, trying to calm her racing heart. The weed did little to dull her intense focus on you. If anything, it sharpened her awareness of every detail, every movement. Although she yearned to be closer to you, she knew it was never going to happen, not even in a million years, and this awareness only fueled her inability to look away. So, all she could do was watch, caught in the spell you had casted over her against her will.
Ellie felt her throat go dry, as if suddenly all the water on the planet had evaporated, leaving her parched. It was only when Alexis nudged her that she snapped out of her trance, her red, half-lidded eyes refocusing on the blonde girl beside her. Alexis was too close, causing Ellie to shift uncomfortably, creating some distance.
Why was she focusing on you anyway? Alexis had been by her side the whole night, trying to talk to her and being overall extremely nice. But for some reason, it felt like getting a taste of something that was missing salt; it was flavorless. Alexis was sweet and niceâthey even liked the same things, for Godâs sake. A girl who liked the same comics as her? It was almost a canon event. But, of course, fate had other plans for Ellie because she wasnât interested in Alexis. In fact, she found her presence almost⌠annoying. She mentally kicked herself for even thinking of Alexis that way. She was such a kind girl, just trying to be friendsâmaybe moreâbut Ellie couldnât care less.
She knew it was ridiculous, this unrequited fascination with you. Yet, she couldnât help herself. You were like a star, dazzling and distant, while Alexis, kind and warm, was like a candleâclose and comforting but not enough to hold Ellieâs attention.
Ellie wanted to desperately feel something for Alexis, to reciprocate her kindness and interest, but it felt forced. She sighed, running a hand through her messy auburn hair. It was in moments like these she realized how messed up she was for always chasing people who couldnât care less about her. She felt a pang of guilt for not appreciating Alexis, who was right there, trying her best to connect while her thoughts constantly drifted back to you. You were like a magnet, pulling her attention away from everything and everyone else.
She couldn't exactly recall how they all ended up disgustingly high, sitting in a circle and playing a stupid game of truth or dare like high schoolers. It was such a childish game, but here they were. Her eyes were fixed on the bottle as if her life depended on it, and when it landed on you, she started praying in every language she knewâthough her repertoire was limited to English, and she didn't even know how to pray.
The auburnette had never been particularly religious; she didnât even believe in luck or fate. She wasnât sure what she believed in, preferring things she could see, things that were scientifically proven. So she didnât know what the hell she was doing, always praying and hoping that youâd talk to her, act differently, maybe even like her. You were just you, and no amount of mental manifestation seemed enough for you to actually see her.
It was bullshit. It was even more bullshit when the bottle landed on that stupid guy who had been thirsting over you the entire night, practically drooling over your body. Ellie couldnât look away, not even when the kiss turned into a full-blown make-out session right in front of everyoneâright in front of her. His callous and hungry hands pulled you close, letting them roam over your body, your ass, your waist, while you wrapped your arms around his neck.
The sight of his hands exploring your body, of your lips moving against his with such abandon, was almost too much to bear. The green-eyed girl glanced around the circle, noting the mix of reactionsâsome amused, some awkwardly averting their gaze. But Ellieâs eyes were drawn back to you, unable to tear herself away from the sight of your bodies intertwined. His hands caressed the bare skin of your back, and Ellie felt a pang of envy so sharp it was almost physical. The makeout session seemed to stretch on forever, and once it was over, it kept replaying like a broken record in her sick mind, an agonizing reminder of what she couldnât have.Â
The green bottle spun on the mosaic again and again, its movements blending into a rapid blur on the floor. Ellie sat there, though completely absent; she felt as if she were a million miles away, her surroundings slowly fading into an enveloping fog, the Silent Hill kind.
Jesse nudged her gently, his voice breaking through her thoughts in a friendly but insistent manner. âDude, you with us?â His words jolted her back to reality, piercing through the haze that had enveloped her mind. She blinked, her eyes snapping to his dark chocolate pools.
Following his gaze to the floor, her eyes landed on the bottle, its neck pointing directly at her. A fleeting moment of surprise flickered across her face, her heart skipping a beat as she realized she was the chosen one.
The word âDareâ burst out of her mouth before she could even process what she was saying. Immediately, she regretted it; the cinnamon-haired girl wasnât exactly as gutsy as she sometimes pretended to be.Â
And as fate would have it, the bottleâs spin ended on the very person she least wanted it to. Alexis.
Her scarred eyebrows pinched together in a disappointed frown, an unexpected dryness creeping into her mouth. With sluggish movements that felt almost like wading through molasses, Ellie slowly turned to face the girl beside her, the moonlight casting a soft glow over her blonde locks. Alexis's eyes sparkled with mischief, her lips curving into a wide grin as she scooted closer. Ellie remained rooted to her spot, frozen in place, unable to bring herself to move.
Ellie failed to notice that your gaze, as cold and piercing as ice, was fixed on her with persistent intensity. Your eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of annoyance shadowing your features.Â
Both girls knelt face to face, and Alexis quickly placed her hand on her waist and leaned in eagerly for a kiss. However, just as their lips met, Ellie pulled away and gave her just a gentle peck. A collective boooo rang out from the surrounding crowd, expressing their disapproval at the briefness of the kiss.
Their eyes met, Alexis' blue eyes locking with hers, holding a hint of confusion. The group around them kept urging them to kiss properly, their voices chanting and encouraging them to go further. When her gaze shifted to the crowd, Ellie's gaze inadvertently locked with yours for a moment. Your eyes were fixated on her with a harsh, almost murderous glare, as if you wanted to rip her apart that very instant.
âKiss, kiss, kiss,â
âOhhh come on! We want a proper kiss!â
âI love lesbian porn.â
âIs lesbian porn even real?â
When Ellie broke eye contact and turned back to the golden-haired girl before her, she saw a look of remorse plastered on her face, as if she feared she had crossed a boundary. âWe don't have-â But before she could finish her sentence, Ellie silenced her by pressing their lips together in a passionate kiss. Hovering over her, she gripped her by the waist, pulling her closer. Despite her efforts, though, kissing her felt almost nausea-inducing.
You didn't look away. Every second of Ellie and Alexisâ kiss was captured in the harsh, judgmental glare of your eyes. There was something almost perverse in how you watched, a blend of disgust and fascination twisting your expression. Ellie remained completely unaware of your intense observation, failing to notice the envy in your gaze and the deep-seated jealousy that gripped your stomach. Even if the redhead had detected your jealousy, she would have dismissed it as sheer animosity, failing to recognize the depth of your emotions. Just like she always did.
As the kiss ended, a huge, dumbstruck grin spread across her friendâs face, her eyes sparkling with joy like the myriad stars above them. Her cheeks were flushed, and she was slightly out of breath, clearly enjoying the moment. Ellie, on the other hand, had a look of regret and shock on her face, almost as if she was questioning every decision she had ever made in her life, a look that the blonde didnât seem to catch on.
Ellie found it increasingly difficult to focus on the mindless dares and ridiculous questions being thrown around, her brain enveloped in a cloud of weed-induced haze. The substance in her system had relaxed her muscles to the extent that she felt like she was constantly on the verge of having an âaccident.â
âI feel like Iâm gonna piss myselfâDid I piss myself?â Ellie mumbled softly into Dinaâs ear, her words barely audible. Dina's dark eyes darted toward her friendâs lap, discreetly scanning for any signs of wet spots on her shorts, but there was nothing. In response, she shook her head while offering Ellie a small, sympathetic shrug and a lopsided smile that conveyed reassurance, her sleek ponytail swaying gracefully with the movement.
âYouâre good,â her speech was slightly slurred, her words stumbling over each other as if she was struggling to articulate.
âFeels like my bladder gave up on me,â she grumbled, the damp spot in her boxers growing increasingly irritating. She harbored an unstoppable belief that she had, in fact, peed herself. The thought was persistent, a nagging paranoia that refused to go away no matter how much her friend had reassured her otherwise.
Dinaâs perfectly shaped arches furrowed as she attempted to make sense of Ellie's slowed-down speech. The combination of alcohol and weed was a little too much for Dina to handle, as she struggled to comprehend what Ellie was saying. Thankfully, her boyfriend, who was much more sober, was there to keep a watchful eye on her. âWhy arenât you wearing a diaper?â she casually inquired, as if the redhead sitting beside her had worn them before.
âUh, no? Why would I?â Ellie mimicked Dinaâs confused expression.
âDonât you, usually?â Her face was a portrait of genuine puzzlement.
Her auburn eyebrows drew together in puzzled bewilderment as she mulled over Dinaâs query for a second or two, as if she didnât quite know the answer herself. She started to respond, âIsnât it too soon tââ but her words trailed off, replaced by an exasperated sigh. âBe right back,â she whispered, realizing it was futile to try talking to her friend, who was as high as gas prices.
The haze of weed and alcohol made everything feel surreal, like she was wading through a thick fog. Ellieâs mind was a chaotic mess, each thought bumping into the next. She stood up, her surroundings swaying slightly as she made her way to the back of the bar, walking around it. Even though she had worked there for quite some time and had likely been aware of the door behind the counters that led to the back of the building all along, she still decided to act like a mindless artificial intelligence bot instead.Â
You watched Ellie attentively, your eyes trailing her every move. The perfect excuse to get up from the circle was getting more beer. Ryan, ever eager, immediately offered to help, seizing the opportunity to be alone with you.Â
But God, who the fuck wanted his disgusting hands all over you?
Ryan was a means to an end, nothing more. You needed him for the weed, and you planned to ghost him the second you didnât need him anymore. Weed was weed, and youâd do anything for free joints, spinning promises you had no intention of keeping. But guilt? That was a foreign concept to you. Playing people was your specialty: using them, manipulating them, treating men like him like obedient, panting pups. They were so eager, so desperate for your attention, that they'd leap at the chance to please you, dancing to your every whim. You took delight in their stupidity, toying with them to your liking. It was all fun until you got bored; then youâd dump them without a second thought, leaving them to wonder what they did wrong.Â
They were all the same. No one ever stood out to you; each encounter a cold calculation. Men like Ryan were just pawns, easily replaceable, utterly expendable, tools to be used and discarded. You enjoyed the control, how they bent to your will, the thrill of watching them scramble for your approval.
Your mind, slightly hazy from the weed and alcohol, felt both razor-sharp and wonderfully numb. You didnât exactly know what you were thinking as your hand hovered hesitantly over the doorknob leading to the back of the bar. You looked over your shoulder to ensure no one saw you slip through the door.
You stepped out just as Ellie stumbled out of the bathroom, her movements faltering briefly when she laid eyes on you. While in the bathroom, she realized that she wasnât going to piss herself; she was just fucking horny from all the weed she had smokedâit always had that effect on herâand seeing you made the effects even worse. Her green eyes widened for a moment, resembling a cat's eyes caught in the headlights rather than those of a deer. However, she swiftly recomposed herself, continuing to walk without acknowledging your presence. As if you didn't exist, as if she couldn't see you.
âHey,â You called out, your voice cutting through the damp night air, but Ellie ignored you. Her steps quickened as she walked past you, her gaze fixed ahead as if you were a mere ghost haunting her path. Conversations between you two had never been normal. She was high as hell and enjoying herself for once; the last thing she wanted was another night ruined by your incessant arguing and your inability to grasp the concept of kindness. With determined steps, Ellie headed for the door that led inside the bar, your eyes lingering on the intricate tattoo on her forearm, which reached for the handle with purpose.
Just as Ellieâs fingers glided over the cold metal, your hand grasped her other arm forcefully, the strength surprising even yourself. With a sudden, harsh move, you slammed her against the wall. âWhat the fuu-â she cursed under her breath as she flinched at the sudden impact of her back against the brick wall, but you abruptly silenced her. You detested being ignored more than anything else. You were accustomed to always receiving attention, with people hanging on your every word and making you the focus of their world. The sensation of being ignored felt completely alien to you.
âI said hey,â You repeated, this time your voice was harsher. Ellieâs eyes, a mesmerizing shade of green, seemed to sparkle in the moonlight, resembling glistening emeralds. Her dilated pupils looked like deep black voids that threatened to swallow you whole. Despite the visible signs of confusion and irritation on her face, an unmistakable sense of intrigue emanated from her, one that didn't go unnoticed by you, and a sly smirk played at the corner of your lips in response.
âYeah, Iâve heard you.â She retorted, annoyed and sarcastic, though her voice was quiet, barely more than a whisper.
âYeah? Didnât seem like it,â you quipped, flashing a mischievous smile as you leaned closer, effectively trapping her against the wall. Your body hovered over hers, your arm positioned menacingly next to her head, the gap between you growing increasingly smaller. Ellie felt a lump form in her throat as she swallowed nervously, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it might burst out of her chest. Her hands trembled at the sudden proximity, and her breath caught in her throat. She leaned against the wall, her body flattened as if trying to put as much space as she could between the two of you by melding into it. The distance between you had never been this small, your body practically looming over hers, encasing her against the wall. Her mind spun as your scent filled her nostrils, a dizzying mix of musk and something else that drove her insane; pheromones, perhaps? âWhat, you ignoring me now?âÂ
âNo, âm no-â
âYes, you are,â Your intense gaze made her skin tingle, as if deciphering her every thought and emotion swirling in her mind, âDonât you wanna talk to me?â Your voice took on an innocent, almost petulant tone as you pouted, sticking out your lower lip and batting your eyelashes at her.Â
The dim light cast long shadows, dancing across the rough brick wall. The scent of sweat, alcohol, weed, and something elseâsomething electricâfilled the space between you.Â
âI donât wanna argue,â the aburnette immediately replied, sighing as if to release the tension that had been building up in her system only due to your closeness. It was crazy how much power you had over her despite her trying to convince herself that she despised you because of your ugly attitude.
âOh, baby, I don't wanna fight either.â Ellie's heart raced as she struggled to process the pet name that effortlessly rolled off your tongue. Her eyes frantically scanned her surroundings, longing for an exit that simply wasn't there. She could have easily distanced herself from you, pushed you away even, but she found herself drawn to the attention and the intimacy, both captivated and unsettled by the closeness. The warmth emanating from your body enveloped her, and the sheer force of your presence overwhelmed her senses. As her pulse quickened, the rhythm of each beat echoed loudly in her ears. Just as Ellie started to gather her thoughts, you gently lifted her chin, compelling her to meet your gaze. A delicate auburn strand of hair fell across her face, âDid you like it?â you suddenly interrogated her, reaching out to gently tuck the stray strand behind her ear.
âLike what?â she questioned back, her brow furrowed in confusion. Her voice sounded weak, and you could sense how your words made her feel small, even though it had nothing to do with height.
âThe kissâis she a good kisser?â your gaze fixed on her lips as your thumb traced a gentle path over her bottom lip.
Ellie let out a disapproving tsk as she pulled her face out of your grasp, causing your hand to drop limply to your side. âWhy do you care?â Her question prompted you to glance back into her eyes. She was surprised by the intense yet gentle expression on your face. For once, you werenât shouting at her, teasing her, or being a bitch.
ââCause I think you could do so much better,â
She couldn't fathom the words you were speaking or understand why you were studying her every detail as if inspecting a precious work of art, gazing at her as if she were a masterpiece rather than an inferior being. It made the freckled girlâs stomach twist with excitement and nervousness. A blush crept across her star-speckled cheeks as your eyes found their way back to her lips, and she unconsciously ran her tongue over them. It was at that moment that you leaned in, pressing your plump lips against hers in a hungry, demanding kiss.
As your lips met hers, Ellie felt like she was about to dissolve into a puddle. The texture of your lips was indescribably soft, almost as if they were crafted specifically for her. Initially, she was too stunned to reciprocate the kiss; her eyes widened in shock, resembling those of a startled cat thrown in a bathtub. Her breath hitched, and for a moment, it felt as though her heart had ceased to beat; she was certain that if a doctor had measured her pulse at that instant, they would have deemed her deceased.
It took her a few moments to process the reality of the situation. The girl she had been pining over for agesâand that also made her life miserableâwas kissing her. She couldn't be certain whether it was the effect of the weed she had consumedâperhaps she had blacked out in the bathroom, and all of this was simply a figment of her imaginationâbut as soon as Ellie felt your gentle hands drawing her in closer by the waist, she was certain that it was all too real.
She could feel your heartbeat, the heat emanating off your skin, your lips moving against hers. It was like stepping into a new world where everything was heightened and vivid. Your lips, soft and inviting, moved with a grace that left the green-eyed girl breathless. She felt like she was floating, untethered from reality, anchored only by the warmth of your touch. It felt right.
Ellieâs mind raced, thoughts colliding in a frenzy of disbelief and euphoria. How could this be happening? She had spent countless nights dreaming of this moment, and now it was unfolding before her.
Slowly, Ellieâs initial shock faded away, replaced by a surge of boldness. She began to kiss you back, tentatively at first, then with increasing confidence. Her pale hands gripped your face, pulling you impossibly closer, their touch greedy and desperate. She tried to push you off, to reverse the roles, but you pushed her right back against the wall, pinning her in place. Both of you craved control, the conflict only adding to the intensity of your interactions. Neither of you was willing to give up easily, the power play making everything so intoxicating. Ellie sought to put you in your place, to dominate you for once, while you had another fantasy in mindâto see her writhing and squirming under your touch, completely submitted to you.Â
Her kisses were fierce and hungry, as if she hadn't tasted anything in days, and you were her first meal. Your lips muffled every delightful sound that escaped her, only serving to make you smile. Her hands tugged at any piece of fabric they could reachâthe loops of your shorts, the laces of your bikiniâas if trying to bring you even closer. She wanted you desperately, and you knew it.Â
You had always known. When you weren't looking, Ellie had been looking. Her fern-green gaze would devour your exposed skin at the pool, filled with an intensity that could not be ignored.
The confirmation that it wasn't just a one-sided desire made you feel all giddy. From the moment she had accidentally bumped into you on the first day of college, you had wanted her. When summer approached and the prospect of more time away from your judgmental friends became a reality, you saw an opportunity. You asked Dina to help recruit more employees, promising her a slight raise in pay. Despite the plan being less than fool-proof and unlikely to succeed, it somehow unfolded exactly how you hoped it would.
Ellieâs breaths came in ragged gasps between the kisses, each one deepening the connection, fueling the fire between you. You could feel her trembling, the tension in her body creating a delightful contrast with the softness of her skin under your touch. Your hands traced the contours of her waist and the subtle dip of her back. Each touch sent a shiver through her, her body responding to your every caress as if it had been waiting for this moment, craving your touch. Her hands emulated your movements, exploring every inch of your body as if she were attempting to commit each curve and line to memory.
You pressed your thigh between her legs, and you swore you could feel the heat of her cunt through the fabric. Ellieâs response was immediate, a moan that vibrated against your mouth as her hips rocked against you in an involuntary, desperate attempt to find friction. The feminine urge to push her further, to test her limits, to make her beg for more almost overwhelmed you.
But Ellie refused to surrender, kissing you harder, more urgently, trying to take control. Her hands found their way to your hair, pulling you closer, her nails slightly scraping your scalp in a way that was both painful and pleasurable, eliciting a moan from you. But you stood your ground, pushing back, your hands gripping her hips tightly, keeping her in place.
You broke the kiss to trail your lips along her jawline and neck, the movement eliciting a gasp of pleasure from her. She leaned her head back against the wall, breathing heavily and unevenly as your hand slipped beneath her white T-shirt. You felt the muscles of her abdomen contract under your touch.
You were almost certain you had never seen her with her shirt off, not even when she was working. She always wore T-shirts and those red, men's style swim trunks when working. Perhaps you had caught a glimpse of her in a sports bra a time or two, but certainly never any more than that. You couldn't understand why Ellie hid so much. If only she could see herself; she was legitimately beautiful, her body toned and strong. But you could never tell under those slightly baggy shirts she always wore.Â
Your hand pulled the hem of her shirt up to expose her abdomen as you knelt down, your mouth moving over her stomach, kissing and nipping at the sensitive skin, eliciting exaggerated gasps and shudders from her, as if her body had never received the right attention before.Â
But as your fingers grazed the waistband of her cargo pants, Ellie suddenly snapped out of her trance, realizing that you were out in the open and at risk of being caught. Her hand pressed against your shoulder, trying to push you away and stop you. You looked up at her, meeting her gaze, her eyes wide and dark and her pupils dilated with desire and tinged with fear.Â
âW-we canât, not here,â Her voice trembled as she spoke, barely above a whisper. Your head tilted, your eyes wide and innocent, your lashes almost touching your brows. Disappointment etched itself across your face, your forehead wrinkled in a frown so adorable that it made it even more difficult for her to deny you. Your expression conveyed a sense of need, of vulnerability, like you were completely dependent on her and needed her. It tugged at Ellieâs heartstrings, making her want to give in immediately.
âNo one will see us,â You tried to reassure her, your fingers toying with the waistband of her shorts, but she intercepted your hands, stopping you once more. You huffed in frustration, your gaze flickering to the restroom on your left, then back to her face, hoping she would catch the hint.Â
Several minutes later, Ellie found herself perched on the toilet seat, legs spread wide with you kneeling in front of her. The white fabric of her shirt was trapped between her teeth, her desperate attempt to muffle her soft moans proving futile. Ellieâs cheeks were flushed, and the scattered freckles that dusted her damp skin stood out vividly against the pink hue. Her brows were scrunched in pleasure and concentration; her eyes rolled to the back of her cranium before squeezing them shut, trying to chase her third orgasm already.
The sight of Ellieâs sports bra peeking from underneath her shirt and her tensed, toned abs had you drooling all over her pussy. You stared at the aburn-haired girl almost in a trance, captivated by her body as if she were your muse. Her abs were like a sculptorâs masterpiece. Your eyes traced the outline of her bra, the way it clung to her, wishing you could take it off, but you were too impatient to feel her cumming in your mouth again to do that, and you sure as hell weren't going to pull away. Maybe another time.
You could sense every fiber of her being, her body speaking a language you were fluent in that told you exactly what she craved. Your tongue, a delicate pink ribbon, traced her sopping slit with deliberate care, teasing, tasting, before zeroing in on that needy bundle of nerves that demanded your attention, a stifled whine escaping her mouth. Her moans grew louder, each one urging you on.
You devoured Ellieâs saccharine essence like a starved beast, your eyes locked onto her with the intensity of a tiger stalking its prey. Her expressions, a symphony of pleasure and desperation, were a masterpiece you couldn't look away from, your gaze drinking in every nuance of her expression, reveling in her artistry. And it was all for you. The mere thought of that made your cunt twitch in your bikini, which was now completely soaked; its sleek black fabric covered by translucent honeyânot for everyone to see.
You danced between flicks of your tongue and alternating gentle, then demanding sucks. Ellieâs clit pulsed wildly in your mouth, her juices anointing your chin like a sacred nectar. She was the best thing you had ever had, not that you would ever admit it out loud to her.
Ellieâs moans were music to your ears, fucking divine, a soundtrack that was most likely going to play at the back of your mind while pleasuring yourself later on whenever you'd go back home. One of her thighs draped over your shoulder, her leg a soft but firm anchor as you wrapped your arm under the other, pulling her closer. Her taste, her very essence, was all-consuming, and you couldnât get enough.Â
Ellieâs teeth finally released the white fabric of her shirt, allowing it to fall back over her toned stomach, her lips swollen and a dazed look in her eyes. âGâna... fuuuuckâŚâ she stammered, the words tumbling out in a deliciously incoherent mix of pleasure and haze, her mind too foggy to form a coherent thought. Ellie was completely lost in every flick of your tongue and every hungry suck on her swollen clit.Â
You smirked against her, slapping the side of her thigh harshly, right over the pink imprint of your hand already etched into her skin. The sting made her whimper and jerk away from your mouth, but your grip on her thigh brought her back where she belonged. You had made a mess of the green-eyed girl, and stopping was the last thing on your mind, especially with her third orgasm looming.Â
You were just getting started.
You hummed into her, the vibrations drawing little gasps from Ellie's mouth. You didn't stop. Even when her body couldn't take it anymore and silently pleaded for you to let go, you kept going, taking everything you could from her. Your tongue and lips were relentless, sucking harshly as she squirmed on the white toilet seat, trying weakly to push you away. Her hand at the top of your head was a feeble attempt to escape and move you away from her core, slow you down perhaps, but you didn't budge.
Ellie cried out, her voice breaking into whines as if she were on the verge of tears, your relentless moans against her clit only pushing her further. Despite her desperate warnings that she couldnât take any more, you didn't stop until a warm flush sprayed against your face, making you pull away instinctively.
The thunderous booms and crackles of the fireworks outside were deafening, drowning out her loud cries and whimpers. Each burst of color and light in the sky timed up perfectly with the waves of ecstasy coursing through her body.
Ellieâs body trembled, her muscles twitching in the aftermath. You looked up at her, eyes glazed with satisfaction, licking your lips and savoring her taste. She was a beautiful wreck, panting heavily, her chest heaving with each breath.
âDid you justââ You glanced down at the glistening pool of her juices on the bathroom floor, eyes lingering on the sight for a moment before looking back up at her. Her cheeks were flushed a deep, rosy red, her body still trembling from the aftershocks of her orgasm. She exhaled shakily, the color on her face intensifying as embarrassment crept in.Â
The thin layer of sweat on Ellieâs forehead caused her baby hairs to cling to her skin, sticking to the sides of her face. You pulled back, running the back of your hand over your mouth and chin, wiping away the slick evidence from your face.Â
âYeah,â she gasped, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath.
âDidnât think you were a squirter,â you snorted, your hand coming up to gently stroke her thigh as she sat up on the toilet seat.
âMe neither,â Ellie admitted, her response causing your eyebrows to shoot up in surprise. A sense of satisfaction and pride filled your chest, knowing you were the one who had drawn that intense orgasm from her. As your eyes met, a giggle of contentment escaped your lips.
But the intimacy was suddenly interrupted by a sharp knock on the door. Both of you tensed up, eyes widening in alarm at the unexpected disturbance.
âEllie? You in there?â Dina's voice cut through the heavy atmosphere, her once-slurred words sounding slightly more coherent, likely due to Jesse's intervention in getting her to sober up. The sound of her words was a sudden disturbance, like a splash of cold water that jerked you and Ellie back to reality. You exchanged a hesitant look, both of you struggling to collect yourselves and regain composure
She hastily put her boxers and pants back on, scrambling to get dressed and compose herself. âYeah, just give me a minute,â she called out hurriedly to Dina, her heart still racing from the recent encounter and the fear of getting caught.
Dina's voice sounded more concerned now, the sound of her trying to open the door sending a jolt of panic through Ellie. âEverything okay?â she asked. âJesse and I are about to leave.â
âYeah, shit,â Ellie muttered curses under her breath as you helped her tidy up, both of you scrambling to look presentable. She darted to the sink to clean her face, her voice trembling with nervousness as she lied to Dina, cursing the weed and blaming it for her nausea. Meanwhile, Dina stood outside the bathroom, her ear pressed against the door as she listened intently to the movement and sounds coming from inside.
She tried to open the door again, her interest piqued by the sounds of whispering and rustling coming from inside. âYou okay?â she pried. The doorknob rattled loudly, but fortunately, you had secured the door earlier, preventing any potential intrusion. âNeed me to come in?â
Ellieâs response was hurried and slightly panicked as she said, âNo, no! Iâm good, Iâm good.â A short while later, the door opened, and a slightly disheveled Ellie emerged with a wide smile, approaching Dina, who looked puzzled and somewhat intoxicated. With her arms crossed, Dina scrutinized her best friendâs appearance, struggling to form a coherent thought.
âAre you okay?â the honey-eyed girl inquired, giving Ellie a once-over and attempting to peek behind her. But she promptly blocked her path.
âIâm feeling fantastic,â Ellie exclaimed with a wide grin, breezing past Dina and narrowly avoiding a collision as she gently guided her away from the doorway. With a quick flick of her wrist, she securely locked the door behind her. âAre you all set to head out?â she asked eagerly, striding off as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred, trying to leave the situation behind her.
You heard Dina's footsteps fading into the summer night alive with the sounds of crickets, fireworks, and distant laughter; you let out a long, deep sigh of relief, feeling the cool tiles against your bare back, gradually easing away the tension and anxiety that had built up.Â
As you stepped out of the bathroom, the barâs dim lighting and background chatter enveloped you once more. You spotted Ellie and Dina near the exit, Dinaâs arm around Ellieâs shoulders as they prepared to leave. Ellie glanced back at you, a secretive smile playing on her lips, and you knew that this night had changed everything.

I feel that after the first baby, it just further fuels these men's need to breed, so how quickly are they trying to get reader to have another baby/how long does it take to secure Baby 2: The Sequel? Do they use the same methods as the first time or do they switch it up? I imagine they're waiting just until reader is cleared by the doc to start trying again. Sorry if this is weird
Donât ever apologize for being who you are. It is us freaks that are the cultural backbone of society.
It depends a lot on you! Like, baby one is obviously the hardest sell. Usually if mama liked baby one then baby two is not a hard sell at all if the means are available! But I think they do vary a lot on the in between period.
Uhmmm authorâs note now that I finished this: I am so sorry I did you first, Gaz. Because I clearly just got progressively more insane and you suffered from first pancake here. No one look at me Iâm ovulating rn
cw: pregnancy. So much baby.
Gaz wants like 1 year of baby one before moving onto baby 2. Enough to get used to things. Then, he will gently broach the baby 2 topic. Starts heavy with the compliments.
âHeâs just so perfect. Having a baby with you has been like a dream come true, love. But you know whatâs better than one baby?â
Soap is gonna wait til one of the development milestones, either speech or assisted walking. Truly, he wasnât sure that he even wanted another one, but once your baby starts talking heâs like oh my god. Itâs all happening too quickly. Tomorrow Iâll be sending him off to college. I need another one.
âDonât ye think heâs a bit⌠lonely, hen? Think he needs a little sibling⌠Maybe two. And, well, ye dinnae want there to be a middle child, so, four total should do it, right, bonnie?â
Ghost is going for a 4-6 year gap. I think you all underestimate just how much he loves your first baby. Light of his life. Never thought there could be something in this world as beautiful as you. Perfection incarnate. How is it just? That he should be such a bastard for his whole life and get blessed with this? He mourns every moment he misses. Thinks about quitting the service altogetherâ just to spend more time at home. He never felt the itch to come home from deployment before he met you, and now that thereâs the baby too, itâs agonizing. Every photo sent to him from you is equal parts soothing and torturous. Every time he has to leave, he says sternly to his baby, âyouâd better not be any bigger when I get back, sweetâart, or youâre in big trouble.â Itâs when she starts going off to school, getting dropped off for the whole day, that heâs ready for another. Be just canât bear the thought of coming home on leave and not having a baby to spend every second with. Heâll cry if he has to drop her off at school every day without another little rugrat in his arms to keep him strong.
âMust be gettinâ boredâ little darlinâ off at school all dayâŚThink Iâve got a solution for that, dovie.â
Price is the man thatâs waiting for the doctorâs go ahead to start trying for another. He wants one in your belly, one on your hip, and one clutching at your skirts at all times. He wants to be covered in munchkins when he walks through the front door. This man doesnât just want a family, he wants a clan.
âJust the three of us in this big houseâŚ. Seems like a waste, doesnât it? And I remember that wallpaper you fancied at the shops the other day⌠perfect for another nursery, donât you think?â
KĂśnig is waiting 2-4 years. He is another man who has complete and total reverence for the miracle that is his first child. I like to imagine he felt such giddiness at seeing your baby photos, now that he has his own? Itâs nothing short of euphoria. Heâs a papoose kind of dadâ loves the constant contact. Similar to Soap, he has a complete crisis when his baby takes her first steps. âWhat if one day, she doesnât need me anymore? Gott in himmelâ itâs all happening too quickly, meine liebe.â So heâs quite eager to have another once youâre both feeling settled and a bit more confident with the first.
âYou are a wonderful mother, you know. I knew you would be. I think⌠we can handle one more, ja?â
Nikolai has a sort of que sera mentality. Whatever will be, will be. Of course he would love a big family, but he wonât be tracking your cycles after the first baby. Heâs confident in his virility. Will you go on birth control? No. Will he be pulling out? Also no (mostly. Sometimes a pretty girl needs a pearl necklace). So if you get pregnant again straight awayâ lovely. If it takes another year or so for things to line up that way, thatâs fine too. More time for him to think of names. Heâs not a greedy man, he knows that having you in one arm and your baby in another is a wealth most men will not know in their entire lifetimes, and he has a lot of life yet to live.
âA gift that begets more gifts. Thatâs what you are, malyshka. Iâll not forget that for as long as I live.â

Only Mine
Summary - Lando giving you a necklace with his number. Find Charles' version here
Warnings - explicit smut, blowjob, fingering, oral sex, p in v sex, unprotected sex, swearing.
'Baby?'' Lando called out to you while you were finishing off your makeup in the bathroom.
''Yeah Lan?'' you replied, walking up to him and wrapping your arms around him from behind. He was standing in front of the floor length mirror in your bedroom.
You rest your chin on his shoulder and looked at him through the mirror. ''Missed you'' you whispered.
You really did miss him. He'd just gotten back from the Chinese and Japanese races which you couldn't go to because of work, so 3 weeks away from each other had you both on edge.
''And i missed you too, which is why i got you a gift'' he said, taking your hands in his and walking to you sit on the bed.
''Oooh i like gifts!'' you excitedly joked.
''Trust me baby, I know'' he smirked.
He opened his drawer and pulled out a long box before sitting next to you and handing it to you.
Intrigued, you took it from him but not before pecking his nose.
You carefully opened it to reveal a gorgeous, dainty gold necklace, but what caught you eye was the pendant in the middle.
It was the word ''four'' etched out with tiny diamonds covering it.
Your breath hitched as you looked up at Lando, your heart fluttering.
He smiled at you. ''Just want you to always remember you're mine, only fucking mine''
''Lan, it's so beautiful, thank you'' you said, launching yourself at him for a tight hug.
He hugged you back before you pulled away and looked at it again. It really was beautiful, but then something else caught your eye.
The word was cut out in handwriting that you knew all too well - it was Landos'.
''Baby, this is your writing. How did you do this?''
''Yes it is, but that's a story for another day. I hope you like it'' he cooed.
''I do, going to wear it everyday. And i love you''
''Love you too sweets''
Lando pulled you in for a kiss which started slow and gentle but very quickly turned sloppy and desperate.
You granted him access as he slid his tongue into your mouth, causing you to suck it for a while as his hands roamed your body.
He pulled you onto his lap and started groping your ass, while you tried to grind down on him.
But you had to stop this from going any further - you had a dinner with friends to get to, and you didn't wanna just have a quick fuck.
''Lando wait. Later. Dinner. Friends'' you mumbled.
''Fuck them'' he said, showing no intentions of slowing down.
''Hmm, I'd rather you fuck me, but later. Come on'' you said, detaching yourself from him and standing up, though your core was screaming in anger, clenching around nothing.
Lando groaned. ''Ugh y/n''
The dinner started off well. You were celebrating a friends' birthday so their was a large group of you. Of course, Lando's hand found homage on your thigh for the whole night, itching closer to where you craved him the most.
You tried to distract yourself by following conversations that were going around the table, which was working until Lando decided to let his fingers slip past your panties and run through your folds.
The action had you jumping in your seat, a flurry of confused eyes looking at you, until he said he kicked you by accident.
Fortunately for you, or unfortunately for Lando, it was soon time to leave and head to the club for a few drinks.
You tried to make up an excuse to go home, but your friends weren't buying it, so here you were being forced to down a few drinks and dance the night away.
You actually were both having fun - you with the girls and Lando with the guys, gossiping and talking shit, dancing crazy to the music on at Jimmy'z, until you went to the bar to get another drink.
A guy - who was at the dinner as well, a friend of a friend, stood beside you and tried to make conversation. He had being giving you weird glances all night, smirking at only you, which you tried to brush off. Right now, you wasted no time in making it obvious that you didn't want to interact with him.
He wasn't budging though, and he was inching closer to you in the limited space. You tried to search the crowd for your boyfriend- or anyone else for that matter but everyone was caught up doing their own thing that no one saw your eyes begging for help.
He looked at your neck and obviously saw your necklace, and putting on a fake, sarcastic laugh.
''Lando Norris huh? Really?''
You looked at him, your eyes throwing daggers at him. ''What's that supposed to mean?'' you asked.
''Well, for starters, he's such a fucking useless driver. Bet i can do better than him and win a race. And baby you can surely do better than a man like him''
You hated when people down talked Lando like this. He was one of the best fucking in drivers in the world and 2 bad races do not define him. And what the fuck does he mean you can do better than someone like Lando?
You took you necklace in your hand and squeezed it tight, somehow trying to draw power from it to tell this guy to fuck off. But he started talking again.
''Bet he doesn't even know how to fuck you properly, bet you can't even make you cum. Let me show you how a night of passion should be' he rambled on.
By now you were seeing red.
''Seriously you need to fucking stop talking right now. I don't owe you anything but I will tell you that you are wrong. Lando is the most talented fucking driver on that grid, and for your information, he fucks me better than you could ever fuck yourself''
Just as you finished saying that Lando appeared by your side. His face laced with confusion as he took your one hand in his and then noticed how you were clinging into the necklace.
''Y/n'' he said. ''What's going on?'' he said, looking at the guy now, throwing his own daggers at him because you wouldn't be pissed off for no reason.
''Oh nothing, just a low life who thinks he knows shit, trying to interfere with our lives, but really just needs to fuck off'' you spat.
''Oh please, what are you guys? 12 years old that you have to wear a piece of jewelry to show off?'' the guy spat back.
Now it was Lando's turn to see red.
''Listen, this is the exact reason she's wearing it. To show losers like you that she's mine, and not yours. So fuck off before I do something you'll regret'' Lando shouted over the music.
You won't lie - hearing him claim you as his and saying he got you that necklace so everyone knew that your only his had turned you on more than it should have.
You squeezed his hand, not bothering to pay any attention to the guy again.
''Lan, take me home please'' you said, rubbing your lips together.
His anger faded when he looked at you and smiled. ''Gladly'' he said, before throwing one last dagger at that stupid man.
You rushed out of the club hand in hand. Lando never let go while waiting for the valet to bring his car over.
The ride home was palpable with tension. Neither of you saying a word but stealing glances at each other ever so often.
Thinking you were being discreet, you started rubbing your thighs together - trying to get some relief to your aching core.
He didn't miss that action though. He settled his hand on your thigh again and squeezed it.
''Wait til we're home baby. I''ll take care of you'' he whispered.
As Lando parked and stopped the engine, he made way to open his door though you stopped him.
Unbuckling your belt you got onto your knees on your seat as best you could in the small car and leaned over. You quickly unbuttoned his shirt before leaning forward and taking one of his nipples into your mouth.
He hissed at the contact. ''Fuck y/n'' he panted as he held your hair out of your face, pulling at it, hard.
You bit and sucked at it while you hand snaked down to unbutton his jeans and slide into his boxers. He was already half hard so when you pulled his dick out it was already standing stern, begging for attention.
You continued to lick a stripe down his torso, stopping to peck his moles, as you pumped him a few times, using your thumb to spread his pre-cum over his slit.
Just as you were about to take him into your mouth Lando pulled your head up to give you a dirty kiss, forcing his tongue into your mouth.
You moaned into the kiss, goosebumps appearing on your skin at just how rough he was.
''You're only mine y/n, never forget that. And next time someone behaves like that, kick him in the balls'' he said, pulling back and looking into your eyes.
Before you could even respond, Lando was pushing you head down and his dick in your mouth, making you bop up and down his length.
You deep throated him straightaway - his tip hitting the back of your throat causing you to gag.
''Yes baby, that's it, taking me so fucking well'' he said as he continued to fuck himself into your mouth.
You moaned at him - words of encouragement always turning you on even more.
''You like that, don't you? Taking my thick girth down the back of your throat so good like that''
You moaned again and pulled up for some air.
Lando watched how your spit was dripping down your chin and he couldn't help but lick some of it off of you before pushing you down on him again.
You could his dick start to twitch in your mouth - his own movements becoming sloppy.
''Fuck me, y/n, not gonna last baby. Gonna cum now'' he grunted through gritted teeth.
And he did. Sheets of warm and salty cum shot in your mouth as he pulled harder on your hair.
You rode him through his orgasm, sucking on his tip before pulling off completely, breath heavy as you looked at him.
He cupped your face and chuckled lightly.
''What?'' you asked, curious as to what his answer would be.
''Who knew an asshole like that would lead to me earning the best head you've ever given me?'' he whispered.
''Fuck Lan, need to feel you in me now!'' you said, already climbing out of the car and running towards the front door of your penthouse.
Lando followed you and as soon as the door was shut he had you against it.
Crashing his lips to yours with an urgency while his hands ripped your dress off of you. You couldn't care less about it. All you knew was you needed to feel him everywhere.
You'd not worn a bra tonight so it was easy for Lando to bend down and latch his mouth to your nipple. Biting and sucking at it, showing it no mercy while his hand massaged your other boob.
You held onto his hair as he sank lower and lower down your torso, eventually settling at his knees.
He pryed your legs open, sliding your tiny panties down them before he attacked your pussy with his lips.
''Fuck Lando'' you panted, your back arching off the door as your pulled on his hair harder.
He wasted no time in finding your clit and kitty licking it with the tongue, while his eyes never left yours.
''Hmm yes, please'' you begged him, not sure what for.
He pulled your pussy apart with both hands, allowing his tongue to slide in with ease through your entrance, before replacing it with two fingers, thrusting in and out of you.
Your nails were now digging into his shoulders, probably leaving purple marks for tomorrow. Your way of showing everyone he was yours..
He set a quick pace, curling his fingers at just the right time for you to feel your orgasm approaching.
''Lan, gonna cum'' you said through bated breaths, and in no time you were gushing your sweet liquid all over his face, his tongue trying to lick and swallow it all while you were a moaning mess above him.
Your legs, definitely like jelly by now, started to give way but Lando quickly stood up and held you up, before jolting you up over his shoulders and walking towards your bedroom.
''So pretty my love'' he whispered, more to himself, as he dropped you on the bed.
You whined. ''You're still wearing too many clothes'' you said as you sat on your knees and helped him work off his shirt and jeans, stripping his boxers off.
His cock bounced freely, already hard and aching for more. He pumped himself a few times while looking at you watch his actions.
'''Ready baby?'' he asked, though he knew the answer already.
''Fuck me now, please'' you begged again.
Lando pushed you to lay down and placed your legs over his shoulders as he lined himself up with your dripping pussy.
''Remember babygirl, you asked for it, yeah?''
All you could do was nod embarrassingly eagerly, as he thrust his whole dick in you at one go.
Normally he'd give you time to adjust to the intrusion, but on nights like this when you were both riled up, there was no holding back.
You palmed your breast as he fucked into you at a relentless pace, both your moans filling the room, loud enough for people walking on the streets to hear.
''So fucking tight baby, taking me so well. God you feel so amazing'' he muttered through his moans before he leaned down to adorn your neck with enough hickeys to last a month.
''Lan, Lando, Harder, deeper, please'' you edged him on.
Within minutes your body was shaking and trembling below him, your orgasm washing over you violently.
''Fuck me'' he mumbled, his hands now finding your waist and ramming into you with just as much force.
You dug your nails into his biceps, begging him for to stop - or for more - you weren't sure.
Suddenly, you got an idea, so with whatever energy you had, you pushed Lando off you so that he was now laying down.
You quickly climbed on top of him and sank down again, gripping at his abs and setting a quick pace. You watched as he licked his lips and smiled to yourself as his eyes shifted from yours down to your neck.
The necklace
Shining bright and looking beautiful as every on you - this was the reaction you wanted. His eyes grew shades darker and you watched as his breath hitched and he bit down on his lower lip.
You couldn't help but let out a few moans.
''Like what you see baby?'' you asked innocently.
It was as if you tapped him out of his daydream as his eyes found yours again and gave you the biggest boyish grin you'd seen in a long time.
''You fucking know it'' he smirked, now lifting himself up to thrust into you.
You leaned forward so the necklace was now dangling right in front of his face, going crazy with the movements of both your bodies.
Lando leaned up a bit and took it into his mouth, sucking it while his eyes remained your yours above him.
That action alone shot another orgasm through your body, shuddering and closing your eyes to calm your breathing as you felt your cum sliding out of you with each thrust Lando was giving you.
''Mother of fucks this is incredible'' you say incoherently as Lando slides out of you and pushes you back down, pulling your whole body to the edge of the bed where he is now standing and lining up with you again.
He thrust in, holding your legs out the way while watching you face contort with pain and pleasure, both your breaths reaching new heights.
''How did i get so lucky. The prettiest, more intelligent girl out there and best of all the one who fucks me the best. Y/n, you're something else'' he said, clearly now chasing his own orgasm as he was becoming sloppy and could barely hold himself up.
You were too fucked out to know what was happening to be honest.
So you let him have his way with you. You did feel as his thumb found your clit and started circling it.
''Gonna cum for me again? Hmm baby? Got one more in you?'' he asked, not that you had a choice.
Words had long left your brain, so you just let out a series of moans to pleasure his ears, while the sound of your bodies slamming together pleasured yours.
You opened your eyes and saw how Lando let his spit drip from his mouth down to the place you were joined, sliding around his dick and disappearing into your cunt.
''Lan I'm done, gonna cum'' you panted, eyes shutting at how sore you actually were now.
''Do it y/n, let it out'' he said.
And just as you moaned out his name when you felt your orgasm ripping through you, you felt ropes of warm cum filling you up and painting your inner walls white, his dick twitching uncontrollably inside of you.
''Fuck me'' he said as you pulled him down to let his weight fall on you.
The both of you were so zoned out, neither making a move to get up and clean up.
You just held each other, trying to calm your breaths, shivering at the cool air now drying the sweat that was covering you.
Lando felt himself soften inside of you so he slowly slid out - you whined at the loss of contact.
''Be back now, let me clean you up'' he said, running to the bathroom.
You sat up and looked down, seeing the mixture of juices slide out of you had you scooping some up on your finger, just as Lando returned with a warm towel.
Just as you were about to put your digit into your mouth, he moved quickly to lean down and take your finger into his mouth instead.
''Uh, Lan!'' you whined, watching as he sucked on your finger.
He swallowed and smirked at you.
''Sorry baby, it just looked so fucking hot''
You pouted at him but watched as he leaned down further and licked more that was dripping out of you before leaning up and prying your mouth open to drip it into.
''There'' he said, and you couldn't help but smile at him.
After cleaning up and climbing into bed together - you wearing nothing but some lacy panties and a certain piece of jewelry - Lando pulled you into his side and held you close, pecking your nose.
''I love you baby'' he whispered.
''Love you too handsome'' you replied back, you fingers playing with the necklace.
''Thank you again for this Lan. I love it, and it will always tell me - and others - that I'm yours and only yours'' you said.
''Only mine, babygirl''
Requests are open for Lando and Charles!!

Okay but Uchiha boys reaction to be woken up w bj :D
OK I CHANGED MY MIND. I am tired as fuck but damn if this didnât excite me!!! đ¨đ¨
NSFW; waking these men up by the cock.
Madara:
Oh god. Several ideas come to mind with this man. The first being, you probably donât even slip under the sheets before heâs awake, and the second is that heâs tired enough to allow it. So Madara pretends to wake up the moment your mouth slides over his morning wood, groans and stretches his arms under his head (this is the good life, ok?). Before he is close to finishing, he tenses. Because any ounce of his cum that doesnât flood your womb is considered wasteful, but Madara has a soft spot and since youâre enjoying him this way so much, he decides to fall apart from your hot mouth, and encourages you by gently rutting in time with your mouth strokes. Just make sure you do it right, or heâs going to get aggressive and fuck your face silly.
Obito:
Iâm such a fucking bitch for this, and Iâm sorry Obi. But have you ever seen a man cum in his sleep?? Thatâs Obito. Guy sleeps like a fucking rock (not surprising since heâs built like one, your mouth is stuffed with his cock and heâs still asleep????). And he moans the whole time, but very sleepy whines. He actually dreams about it while youâre doing it (and gets sooo red telling you about this dream later in the day, all the while you smile knowingly) đŠđĽš so precious, you thought for sure he would be awake by the time it started to feel really good, but nope! He just is even more adorable, peacefully unawares as you suck him dry.
Shisui:
Itâs pretty evident Iâm baised with this Uchiha. Lol, I canât help it. Shisui absolutely wakes upâbut with appreciation, slips his hand in your hair and guides you slowly over his morning erection and groans so damn hot and gruff. Heâs so hard in the mornings too, not always but today he is. The mornings heâs not, he still enjoys you cock warming him until he grows into your throat and then he groans when you slurp on the tip as he cums, rather fast but oh well. Undoubtably repays the favor; tenfold. Once your mouth is flooded with his sperm, he is eager to reciprocate and feast off your goods.
Itachi:
Itâs always so hard to tell what this man isnât affronted by. He would instantly jolt awake, with a silent but then audible gasp turned treasonous moan. Probably mouth open, itâs always shocking (in a good way) to be taken care of by you, but fuck. Itachi is one of those men that gets off on your pleasure. Like, yes. He loves seeing you work his length, especially since he got in late from a mission and you were asleep, so there was no time for a salacious reunion. But please, if you really want to make him happy and cum fast. Just sit on him once you notice heâs close. He loves blow jobs, but he wants you both to be on the same level.

not an order but after todayâs race i need rough sex with lando after what happened in qatar do what you want with it⌠(pretty pls)
tags: rough sex, semi-public sex, no foreplay, unprotected sex, PiV, finishing inside, mentions of qatar 2024 gp,
wc: 1k
a/n: I don't know how I feel about this one, but I hope you'll like it. if you enjoy my work please leave a like or reblog <3
Lando was seething, his body practically vibrating with all the frustration he had been bottling up from the moment his race engineer announced the penalty to him. 10 seconds stop and go, he thought it was ridiculous.
The good start, the great pace, being in position to maybe fight for the win, all of it gone with just one penalty which placed him on the back of the grid by the time he made it out of the pits. Sure, he climbed positions, but being P2 on the start and ending P10 was humiliating.Â
Just when the championship battle was finally done and all the reporters going on and on about it finally off his back, this happened. The few days he had to breathe comfortably from Vegas to Qatar felt absolutely too little.Â
He played his part, congratulating Oscar on the podium and giving all the mandatory interviews he had to give before he was storming through the paddock, his brows furrowed and features downturned in a frown.Â
He made his way back to the McLaren garage, his steps hurried and a bit heavier that they needed to be. His eyes scanned over the large group of people dressed in papaya, mechanics, engineers and other workers, until they finally ended on you.
And there you were, engaged in a polite conversation with one of the social media admins, hands resting on your hips as you smiled and talked to the girl in front of you. He couldnât bring himself to care.
Lando stormed over, sparing the girl only a tight lipped smile and a polite nod, before he looked at you. He flexed his hand and for a second you thought he was going to offer it to you, but then much to your surprise, the world spun as he leaned down and picked you up over his shoulder.
âLando!â You gasp, trying to grab onto his arm to stabilize yourself. âWhat are you doing?â
âI need you,â he says, his voice rough. Lando carries you into his driverâs room and kicks the door closed before putting you down. âThis whole thing was shit, the practices, quali, the race. I just need to forget it for a moment.â
Your eyes move up his chest, over his face and then finally connect with his own. His eyes are dark, but you can see how much all of this has weighed him down. Thereâs still a sparkle of lust in them, however.
You place your palms flat against his stomach, pressing against the material of his fireproofs, and Lando groans lowly, as you lower one hand down to cup his growing erection. It wouldnât be the first time you two had done something like this after a bad race.Â
You push yourself up, lips gently pressing against his own, just a peck, gone as fast as it came. âGo on then,â you tell him, the tone of your voice dropping. âUse me to make yourself forget.â
Lando doesnât waste a second, pushing you forward until you reach the couch and bending you over the arm of it. You were wearing a long dress which he doesnât bother taking off, he bunches it up and pushes it up to your stomach.
âFuck, baby,â he groans, his palm landing a sharp smack against your ass before he gropes the flesh. âForgot to put on panties this morning?â
âDidnât go with the dress,â you tease, mischief obvious in your voice. âOr maybe I just wanted to give you easier access.â
Lando makes a sound in the back of his throat, almost a growl, as he worlds on removing his racing suit as fast as he can. He pushes the suit down along with his boxers, and gives himself a few pumps before running the cockhead through your folds so your arousal is smeared all over his dick, acting like lube.
You gasp as his tip nudges against your clit but the sound is soon replaced by a moan that makes its way past your lips when he pushes himself inside of you in one thrust, almost embarrassingly easy from how wet you are.
The pace he sets is ruthless, hard rough thrusts that make your body slide forward every time, the tip of his dick grazing against your most sensitive spot repeatedly, his rough hands grabbing and squeezing your tits over the material of your dress.
âFuck,â he swears, his lips grazing against your ear, his breath hot. âYouâre taking me so well, my pretty little slut. Practically a cocksleeve, arenât you,â he chuckles, his degrading words making your head spin along with all the pleasure he is providing. âOne look and youâre dropping your panties. Itâs not your fault baby, you just need to be treated like a proper whore.â
You couldnât bring yourself to care about the volume of your moans, not when he was fucking you so good. Whimpers falling past your parted lips, nails digging into the cushions of the couch as you walls clenched around him, orgasm approaching and the familiar burning sensation filling your lower belly.
âLando, please!â
âGo on, pretty baby,â he said, his voice rough. One of his hands left your breasts and sneaked down between your legs, his fingers flicking your clit. âCome for me, cum on my dick.â
And you did, body shuddering, with a loud scream of his name, walls clenching around him and pushing him into his own orgasm. Lando groaned, his hips stopping their movement as he spilled his release inside of you.
Lando pulled out slowly, making you whine at the loss of fullness. You could feel his cum starting to leak down your legs as he helped you straighten up and then pulled your dress back down. He gave your ass a small slap, his laugh echoing through the room when you whined. âCome on,â he said, the tone of his voice holding a note of amusement. âLetâs get back to the hotel.â

OP MEN when theyâre in the mood pt. 2
ft. Shanks, Mihawk, Katakuri, King (not proofread)
Shanks
Little did you know that itâs you who gets him in the mood every single time. Itâs not just a âIâm feeling horny and I need releaseâ typa thing.
He gets riled up when he watches you put on your favorite lipstick, when you try on your newly bought clothes and show it to him, when you walk around the ship with his shirt on, and when you sit on his lap.
His brain is quick to conjure up different positions heâll fuck you in when you sit on his lap.
At first, heâd rub your inner thigh âabsentmindedly,â and when you shift on his leg, thatâs when heâll go further.
With a mug of beer in his other hand and half his attention on his crewmates, his fingers slowly dance their way up your leg until he stops just when heâs near your panties.
While he chats with his members heâll toy with the garter of your underwear, tugging it at first before he snakes his hand inside just to feel the skin near your pussy.
And when you squirm, heâll lean near your ear, face flushed with words a little slurred.
âOnce they all get wasted and pass out Iâm gonna fuck you on my bed, yeah?â
Mihawk
Mihawk is the type of person to plan things before it happens.
Heâd feel the need to feel the warmth of your pussy as it clenches on his thick cock, but when he sees you busy heâd patiently wait until your schedule is free.
Heâd set up a romantic candlelit dinner, cooking you steak and pouring you the finest wine in his collection.
Heâd let out a small, ânonchalantâ smile when you compliment his cooking, all while holding himself back from pining you on the table and taking you then and there.
On the middle of the dinner, heâd casually say, âLetâs have sex.â which will lead you to choke on your food.
âAfter dinner,â Youâd say, and in his mind heâs already celebrating.
When you two finish, heâll ask you to take his hand and lead you to the bedroom, gasping when you see rose petals scattered inside and lovely music playing from his vintage record player.
Katakuri
Heâs mostly shy around you, being his first girlfriend and all.
Some people may think that he acts coldly towards you, but itâs only you who truly knows why he acts that way.
Youâd know heâs in the mood when he acts cranky and touchy.
Heâll wrap his arm around your waist, fiddle with your fingers, compare hand sizes, and glare at anyone who dares speak to you or even breathe your way.
But when heâs really in the mood, his subtle touches will level up.
Heâd rub your inner thighs, fondle your breasts, lightly squeeze your butt.
Youâd notice how his breath gets heavier and how his pupils dilate when you get near him.
Youâll notice him staring at you the whole day without saying a damn word, and when you notice these signs youâll chuckle and pull him into a passionate kiss.
King
King is a busy man, working under Kaido means he has to do things almost 24/7.
The only time youâd spend with him is whenâs sent on expeditions, which rarely happens because heâs always glued beside Kaido.
Or, when he just finished a battle.
While his whole system is still pumping with adrenaline from a recent battle, the only reason for him to calm down is to sink into your tight cunt.
When he sees you after he just won a fight, all his pent up energy will shoot straight down his dick.
Heâs a man of few words, and once he has you pinned against the wall, you know what will happen next.
âFuck, I havenât seen you in a long time. Open your pretty legs for me so I can show you how much I missed you.â

HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS | OP81
an: oscar would so be the nerd at university that NOBODY hated but i got this listening to high school sweethearts by melanie
wc: 3.4k
Oscar wasnât known for standing out. If anything, he was the type youâd forget was in the room until someone said, âHey, can you pass me the stapler?â Quiet, unassuming, always with a book in hand or headphones half-falling out of his ears, he drifted through university like a ghost no one was particularly scared of. That is, until he met her.
Sheâloud, chaotic, unapologetically strangeâwas the kind of person who made an entrance just by breathing. People called her insane, whispered about her after lectures, and swapped stories about her latest absurd escapades. But to Oscar, she wasnât insane. She was magnetic.
The first time he saw her, she was sitting cross-legged on a table in the middle of the library, explaining in detail why the libraryâs âNo Foodâ policy was a direct attack on her personal freedoms. The staff were too stunned to stop her. Oscar was too stunned to look away.
By the time she noticed him staringâwide-eyed, clutching his battered notebookâshe smiled, sharp and knowing. âYouâve got a crush, donât you?â she said, not a question but a declaration.
Oscar didnât deny it. How could he? Her gaze pinned him to the spot, like sheâd peeled back his layers and found the embarrassing, undeniable truth: he was completely infatuated.
âThought so,â she said, hopping off the table with an exaggerated stretch. âWell, listen up, quiet boy. If youâre gonna have a crush on me, there are rules.â
âRules?â he echoed, voice cracking slightly.
âFor dating me,â she said casually, as though she delivered ultimatums like this every day. âAnd trust me, itâs not for the faint of heart. So, listen close, because Iâm only saying this once.â
She held up a finger. âRule one: You must accept that Iâm a little out of my mind.â
Oscar blinked. âA little?â
âDonât interrupt,â she snapped, but the glint in her eye softened it into something almost teasing. âRule two: This whole thing is a waste if you canât walk me down the finish line. I donât do quitters.â
She was pacing now, her hands moving as she spoke, like she was building the rules out of thin air. âRule three: Give me passion. Donât make fun of my fashion, even if itâs âunconventional.â Rule four: Give me more. And I mean more, more, more. Compliments, time, effortâwhatever youâve got, Iâll take it.â
She stopped in front of him, looking him dead in the eye. âRule five: You canât be scared to show me off. Hold my hand in public. Smile when people stare. Otherwise, whatâs the point?â
Oscar nodded, as if it were a contract he was ready to sign.
âRule six,â she continued, her voice dropping slightly, âif you canât put in the work...well, I donât know what you think this is supposed to be. And rule seven...â She paused dramatically, a slow, sharp grin spreading across her face. âIf you cheat, you will die. No exaggeration.â
He laughed nervously, unsure if she was joking. Her expression didnât budge.
âWait, youâre serious?â he asked.
âDead serious.â Her gaze was steady, almost unnervingly so. He felt a strange thrill run through him, a combination of terror and awe.
âOh,â he said, his voice faint.
âAnd another thing,â she added, leaning closer. Her voice was a soft purr now, almost conspiratorial. âIf you canât handle the choking, the biting, the loving, the smotheringâwell, letâs just say youâd better leave now.â
Oscarâs heart raced. For a moment, he thought she might be messing with him. But as he studied her face, the fierce intensity in her eyes, he realised she meant every word. And instead of scaring him off, it only pulled him in deeper.
He swallowed hard, his lips parting as if to respond, but she didnât wait for him to speak. âYou up for it, quiet boy?â she asked, raising a brow. âOr are you gonna run like the rest of them?â
Oscar took a deep breath, his chest tight but his resolve steady. âIâm in,â he said, the words stronger than he expected. âAll in.â
Her grin widened. âGood. Donât disappoint me.â
And just like that, she spun on her heel and sauntered away, leaving Oscar standing there, breathless, overwhelmed, and more in love than heâd ever thought possible.
The whispers started the moment she left the room. Oscar could feel the weight of every stare, the quiet hum of disbelief settling over the students still lingering in the library. He shifted uncomfortably, gripping the strap of his bag, and glanced around. A few people smirked. Others shook their heads, muttering things he couldnât quite make outâbut he knew what they were saying.
"Sheâs messing with him.""He doesnât stand a chance.""Poor guy. Heâll regret it."
Oscar didnât care. He didnât care that the rest of the university seemed to think she was unapproachable, untouchable. If anything, their doubt only made his resolve stronger.
Later that evening, he found himself sitting on the edge of his bed, staring at his phone. Heâd spent hours trying to figure out what to text her. Every draft felt wrongâtoo eager, too stiff, too... boring. And if there was one thing she didnât tolerate, it was boring.
Eventually, he settled on something simple:
âSo... when do I start following the rules?â
The response came almost instantly:
âTomorrow. Be ready by 9. Wear something cute. And bring coffee.â
Oscar stared at the message, his heart racing. He wanted to ask where they were going, but something told him she wouldnât answer. She thrived on keeping people off balance, and he had a feeling sheâd enjoy watching him squirm.
The next morning, he was at her door at 8:55, holding two cups of coffee and wearing his nicest shirt. It wasnât muchâjust a navy button-up he usually saved for presentationsâbut he hoped it would pass the âcuteâ test.
She opened the door with a dramatic flair, her eyes immediately scanning him from head to toe. For a moment, Oscar thought heâd failed. But then she smiled, a slow, wicked grin that made his stomach flip.
âNot bad,â she said, grabbing one of the coffees from his hand. âYouâre trainable.â
âUh, thanks?â he said, not entirely sure if it was a compliment.
She laughed and tugged him inside, closing the door behind him. Her apartment was just as chaotic as heâd imaginedâpaintings leaned against the walls, half-finished projects scattered across the floor, and a neon sign above the kitchen counter that read Normal Is Overrated.
âSo, whatâs the plan?â he asked, trying not to trip over a stack of books on his way to the sofa.
She raised an eyebrow. âRule two, remember? I donât do quitters, and I donât do guys who need their hands held. Just keep up, and maybe youâll survive the day.â
It turned out âkeeping upâ was a lot harder than heâd expected.
She led him all over the city, dragging him into thrift shops and art galleries, stopping at random street performers to critique their technique, and challenging him to a karaoke battle in the middle of a bustling cafĂŠ. By the time they got to their final stopâa rooftop overlooking the cityâOscar was out of breath, his feet sore, and his head spinning.
âYouâre not dead yet,â she said, leaning against the railing and sipping the last of her coffee.
âBarely,â he replied, collapsing onto a nearby bench.
She laughed, a real, genuine laugh that softened her sharp edges for just a moment. âNot bad for day one, quiet boy. But youâve got a long way to go.â
Oscar looked up at her, the wind catching her hair and the glow of the city lights reflecting in her eyes. She was intense, unpredictable, and completely overwhelmingâbut as she turned to look at him, a hint of curiosity in her expression, he felt something settle in his chest.
âIâm ready,â he said, surprising himself with how much he meant it. âWhatever it takes, Iâm in.â
She tilted her head, studying him like she couldnât quite figure him out. âYouâre weird,â she said finally. âI think I like that.â
And just like that, she turned and started walking away.
âWait, where are you going?â he called after her.
âHome,â she said over her shoulder. âYouâll text me tomorrow. Same time. Different rules.â
Oscar stayed on the rooftop for a while after she left, the cool breeze clearing his head. He had no idea what heâd just signed up for. But as he watched her disappear into the crowd below, he realised one thing for certain: there was no turning back now.
It had been almost a week of him following her around town doing insane things with her, everytime he did it, he fell for her more than before.
The cafĂŠ buzzed with its usual morning chaosâcoffee machines hissing, chairs scraping against the floor, and students chattering as they rushed to squeeze in breakfast before class. Oscar had been there for five minutes, awkwardly lingering at a corner table, when he spotted her weaving through the crowd.
She didnât walk so much as command the space around her. Her oversized sweater draped lazily over her shoulders, and her combat boots stomped just loud enough to draw attention. In one hand, she clutched her ever-present carton of orange juice.
Oscarâs heart gave its now-familiar leap at the sight of her.
She didnât smile when she saw himâshe rarely did in publicâbut the slight tilt of her head was enough for him. She slid into the seat next to him, her elbow bumping his in a way that felt oddly reassuring.
And then he showed up.
âMorning, Oscar.â
Oscar tensed instinctively at the voice. Charles. The kind of guy who wore his popularity like a crown and acted like it gave him the right to sit wherever he wanted. Unfortunately, today, that âwhereverâ was the empty chair on the other side of Oscar.
âCharles,â Oscar said stiffly.
Charles ignored the tone and dropped into the chair, leaning back like he owned the place. His attention flicked briefly to her, sitting silent and unmoving on the other side of Oscar. She didnât look at him. Not even a glance.
âI see youâre still hanging out with, uh... whatâs the word? Unconventional company,â Charles said, his smirk practically oozing condescension.
Oscar opened his mouth to respond, but the words caught in his throat. He hated confrontation, and Charles had a way of twisting any defense into something laughable.
She didnât react. Not a word, not a movement. She simply reached across Oscar, setting her orange juice on the table with deliberate slowness, her hand brushing his arm as she did.
Charles raised an eyebrow. âNot gonna say anything, huh? No witty comeback? Thatâs new. You know, Oscar, if you ever needââ
He didnât get to finish.
In one fluid motion, she turned, grabbed Oscar by the collar, and pulled him into a kiss. It wasnât gentleâit was bold, fierce, and entirely unapologetic. The world around them seemed to fall away.
Oscarâs first thought was that he should probably panic. His second thought, as her lips pressed against his and the faint taste of orange juice lingered on his tongue, was that he didnât want to.
Then came the chaos.
Mid-kiss, her elbow nudged the carton of orange juice. It tipped over, spilling in a perfect arc onto Charlesâs lap.
âWhat the hell?â Charles shot to his feet, the chair scraping loudly against the floor as the juice soaked into his trousers. âAre you serious?â
She finally broke the kiss, her expression perfectly calm as she turned to face Charles. She didnât say a word. Not a single word.
Charlesâs face turned redder by the second. âYouâre insane,â he hissed, pointing at her like she was some kind of villain. âI knew it. Completely insane.â
Oscar, still dazed from the kiss, felt a laugh bubbling up in his chest. He couldnât stop it. It escaped as a quiet chuckle at first, then a full grin spreading across his face.
Charles turned his glare on Oscar. âAnd you! Are you really just going to sit there and let herââ
âYes,â Oscar said simply, his voice stronger than heâd expected. He couldnât stop smiling.
Charles sputtered, utterly dumbfounded, before storming off toward the bathroom, muttering under his breath about how âinsane people shouldnât be allowed in public.â
The cafĂŠ was silent for a beat, and then, like clockwork, the whispers started.
She didnât seem to noticeâor if she did, she didnât care. She turned back to Oscar, calmly picking up the now-empty orange juice carton and tossing it into a nearby bin.
âThat was... a lot,â Oscar said finally, still catching his breath.
She shrugged, her eyes sparkling with something playful. âRule five,â she said, as if it explained everything.
âShow you off and hold your hand?â
She tilted her head, smiling ever so slightly. âClose enough.â
And just like that, she stood up, as if nothing had happened. âCome on, quiet boy. Youâre walking me to class.â
Oscar followed her out of the cafĂŠ, the eyes of half the room trailing after them. For the first time, though, he didnât care. If this was what insanity felt like, he wasnât sure he ever wanted to go back to normal.
Over the next few months, she and Oscar became the universityâs most inexplicable pairing. People whispered about them constantly, but neither of them seemed to care.
She still refused to conform to anyoneâs expectations, roaming campus in outfits that veered between thrift-shop chaos and unapologetic glam. Oscar, meanwhile, remained quiet and steady, like a grounding force to her whirlwind energy.
They settled into their dynamic surprisingly well. She had her rules, and Oscar followed themâsometimes clumsily, but always with devotion. She dragged him to art galleries, night markets, and rooftop parties heâd never have attended on his own. He listened to her rants, held her hand when she insisted, and even endured her merciless teasing when he fumbled a karaoke mic.
In turn, she surprised him, too. Sometimes, when the world got too loud, sheâd let herself be vulnerable around him. Sheâd show up at his apartment late at night, curl up on his couch without a word, and let him hold her until she fell asleep. He learned to read her silences, to understand that sometimes her âinsanityâ was a mask for something deeper.
They were an odd match, but they worked.
One Friday morning, a few months into their relationship, Oscar found himself in the sports science building for a required class study. His professor was leading the group through a practical demonstration of exercise physiology, and todayâs session involved a series of physical testsâstrength, endurance, flexibility.
âRight,â the professor called out. âWeâll start with the treadmill test. Everyone take turns, and when itâs your turn, youâll need to remove your shirt so we can monitor your breathing and heart rate more closely.â
Oscar didnât think much of it. He was used to this sort of thing. Sports science wasnât exactly shy about physicality. So, when his turn came, he stepped onto the treadmill and casually peeled off his shirt.
The reaction was immediate.
A low whistle echoed across the room, followed by murmured laughter and a chorus of exaggerated âoohs.â
Oscar froze, his cheeks burning as he turned to look at the group. The guys in his class were all grinning, their eyes fixed not on his face, but his back.
âWhat?â he asked, confused.
âUh, dude,â one of them said, barely able to keep a straight face. âYou wanna tell us where you got those?â
Oscar frowned, craning his neck to look over his shoulder. Thatâs when he remembered: the scratches.
His back was a mess of faint red marksâlong, jagged streaks that stood out against his otherwise pale skin. They were clearly recent, unmistakable evidence of what could only be described as... passionate nights.
âOh,â he said weakly, the realisation hitting him like a freight train.
âOh?â one of the guys repeated, laughing. âThatâs all youâve got to say? Come on, man. Whoâs the lucky girl?â
Oscarâs face went crimson. He tugged his shirt back on, muttering something about ânone of your business,â but the damage was done.
âBet itâs that girl,â someone said, the grin in their voice unmistakable. âYou know, the one everyone says is kinda crazy.â
Oscar ignored them, focusing on the treadmillâs blinking screen as he started his run. But he couldnât stop the small, involuntary smile that crept onto his face.
Later that day, he met up with her at their usual spotâa small cafĂŠ tucked away from the campus chaos. She was already there, lounging in her chair with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other.
âYouâre late,â she said without looking up.
âGot held up,â he replied, sliding into the seat across from her.
She finally looked up, narrowing her eyes. âWhy are you grinning like that?â
âAm I?â
âYou are. Spill.â
Oscar hesitated, then leaned in slightly. âLetâs just say the guys in my class found out youâre... hands-on.â
It took her a second to process, but when she did, her face split into a wicked grin. âOh, really?â
He nodded. âThey were... impressed. Lots of whistling. Some questions I refused to answer.â
She laughed, a low, delighted sound that made his stomach flip. âGood. Let them wonder.â
âAnd you donât think itâs, I donât know, embarrassing?â
She reached across the table, her fingers brushing his as she tilted her head in that way that always made him feel like she was reading his mind. âOscar, sweetie,â she said, her voice teasing but fond, âIâm never embarrassed about liking you. Why should you be embarrassed about liking me?â
He didnât have an answer for that. All he knew was that in that moment, surrounded by her chaos and certainty, he was exactly where he wanted to be.
After a bit of catching up, they did what they usually did. She pulled out a book and he pulled out his laptop, the both of them doing something in silence. There was a low hum of student chatter filling the air. It was peaceful in a way Oscar had grown to love.
But the peace didnât last.
A group of guys from his sports science class strolled past, their laughter cutting through the quiet. Oscar didnât notice them at firstânot until one of them whistled, loud and sharp.
âYo, Oscar!â one of them called, smirking as he walked by.
âThose scratches healed up yet, man?â another teased, nudging his friend.
There was a ripple of laughter, followed by another whistle, and Oscar immediately felt his face heat up.
He looked down at his lap, his cheeks burning as he pretended to adjust the edge of his notebook. The attention made him feel like he wanted to sink into his chair and disappear.
She noticed instantly.
Her gaze snapped up, tracking the guys as they walked away. Then she turned to Oscar, watching as he ducked his head, his shoulders tense with embarrassment.
âNo, no, no,â she said firmly, tossing her book aside and sitting up.
âWhat?â he mumbled, still looking anywhere but at her.
She reached out and gently cupped his chin, forcing him to meet her eyes. There was a teasing glint in her gaze, but her voice was soft when she said, âNo, Oscar darling. None of this shy, looking-down nonsense.â
He blinked at her, unsure what to say.
âListen to me,â she said, leaning closer, her voice dropping into a low, almost conspiratorial tone. âYouâre my boyfriend. Youâre sweet, gorgeous, and apparently very memorable.â Her lips twitched into a grin. âSo soak it in, baby.â
Before he could protest, she grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him toward her.
Her lips pressed against his with deliberate force, and the world around them seemed to fade. The kiss wasnât subtle or politeâit was just shy of scandalous.
Oscarâs brain short-circuited. He could vaguely hear the distant laughter of the guys whoâd whistled, probably in shock, but he didnât care. His initial surprise melted into something warmer, and he kissed her back, his hands instinctively resting on her waist.
When she finally pulled back, her eyes sparkled with satisfaction. She smirked at him, her fingers still fisted in his shirt.
âBetter?â she asked.
He nodded, dazed, his cheeks still flushed but for an entirely different reason now. âYeah,â he managed, his voice barely above a whisper.
âGood,â she said, leaning back casually as if nothing had happened. She picked up her book and flipped it open again, completely unbothered by the attention theyâd drawn.
Oscar, on the other hand, felt the stares of half the cantine burning into his skin. But this time, instead of looking down, he found himself smiling.
If this was what she meant by âsoaking it in,â he figured he could get used to it.
the end.

All I Want For Christmas - Jack Hughes
Wow guys, Iâm back from the dead
Please interact because Itâs fun
Do we want a Christmas series (I was gonna do one last year and then just didnât because I donât know)
I have other ideas brewing if this gets a lot of love
AnywayâŚenjoy
w.c 1,326 (credit to gif maker) (donât steal my work)
What do you get a man who has everything? Money? Check. Fame? Check. The best girlfriend in the world? Double check. Everything Jack Hughes could ever want, he had. And unfortunately for you, that makes it very difficult to buy him a Christmas present.
For the past almost three years, whenever youâve asked about it, Jack always says the same thing: he doesnât want anything, and not to waste your money on him. Normally, you'd be okay with thatâcollege is expensive, and the savings you have go toward your future. But still, itâs your favorite time of year, and you want to get him something, anything, to show just how much he means to you.
To make your life easier, this year, youâve come up with a new plan. If you canât get an answer from Jack, youâll go to the next best sources. Your first call is to Ellen and Jim, who kindly explain that Jack had gotten to them first and he doesnât want anything from you but your undying love and affection. Well, he already has that, so the call is mostly a bust.
Next, you call the Captain. He laughs, telling you the same thing as the parents, and he even adds a âHeâs got everything, kid. Donât stress about it.â
Your final hope is a FaceTime with Luke. The second he answers, you beat him to the punch.
âIf you say Jack just wants my love for Christmas, Iâm going to lose my mind.â
Luke bursts out laughing, which you donât find remotely funny.
âSorry, champ,â he says, grinning wide through the screen. âIâve got nothing. I donât even know what Iâm getting him.â
You let out a frustrated groan and bury your face in your pillow. It shouldnât be this hard to find a gift for your boyfriend, and the days are counting down. You stay like that for a minute, until Luke calls your attention back to him.
âStop stressing so much. You could get him a Yankee candle and heâd love it.â He pauses. âOr, hear me out, maybe you just listen to him and donât get him anything.
Another groan escapes you, and you finally pick your head up. âThatâs the thing, Luke. He always gets me the nicest things every year, and everything I get him feels... not as good.â
Luke rolls his eyes at your state. âCome on, you know heâs got the big bucks. Donât put that kind of pressure on yourself to compete with him.â
You know heâs right, but it still doesnât help. You give up on ideas for a bit and talk to Luke about whateverâs going on in his life. Heâs still single, still slightly dumb, but heâs every bit still one of your best friendsâmuch to Jackâs dismay.
âI actually do have an idea for you,â Luke says suddenly.
You sit up, eager to hear any suggestions.
âCome to Jersey for the break. Maybe the whole thing. You know that would be the only thing heâd want.â
You deflate like a ballon, a heavy weight coming in your chest. Even still, you try for a minute to work it out in your head. Youâve got your own family who expects you home, a job to manage, and grad school applications to finish. As much as youâd love to drop everything to be with Jack for a month, it just doesnât make sense in your current situation.
Luke senses your unease like he always does and recovers. âIt was just an idea. A stupid one. I forget youâve got a lot going on.
You force a small smile, but the ache in your chest doesnât go away. You put on a facade and talk to Luke a bit longer until your stomach growls and you excuse yourself to make dinner.
Youâre halfway through cooking a pasta recipe from TikTok when your phone lights up. You assume itâs Jack, and youâre proven right. You prop the phone up just enough so youâre in the frame and answer.
âHey, J,â you say, sounding more tired than you want. âHow was your day?â
âIt was great, mostly. Except, I heard through the grapevine youâre trying to get me a present.â
He teases and you try to laugh, but the sound dies in your chest, and before you even know it, tears are welling up in your eyes.
âWaitâwhatâs going on, babe?â Jackâs voice is full of concern, and that makes you start crying even harder.
âI'm fine, J,â you manage, your voice is quieter than you like. âIâm just...overwhelmed.
Jack falls silent for a moment, and you want to hang up, but you know if you do, heâll blow up your phone until you answer again.
âIs it... me?â He ask, and your heart cracks again.
You let out a sharp laugh. âNo, Jack. Not by youâjust by life.â
He nods slowly, and for a second, you can practically feel how much he wishes he could be there with you.
âIs there anything I can do?â he asks, his voice is so sweet and so sincere that it almost kills you.
You wipe another tear away and finally give in to what you need to ask. âYou can tell me what you want for Christmas.â
This time, he laughs, and it lifts your spirits just a little.
âFine. I want one of those journals you write in. You know, the one with the prompts. Thatâs all I want.â
You turn the oven off and sit down at your table, making a mental note.
âOkay, thatâs all I needed to know.â
The call falls silent again, and then Jack says something that makes your chest tighten all over again.
â(Y/N)... all I want, I already have. And Iâm not just saying that. The only thing that could make me happier is having you here with me. But I know youâve got your own stuff going on, and I canât pretend to understand it. I need you to stop stressing about me. Iâm good, great even. And seeing you hurt... thatâs the only thing thatâs making me hurt.â
You swallow hard, wiping away another stray tear. You nod silently, but finally break just a little bit more.
âI just wish I was with you,â you finally admit.
Itâs true. Every time you hear his voice, things start to smooth out, and itâs even better when youâre together. Youâve done long-distance your entire relationship, and youâre starting to get really sick of it.
âI know. But weâll have a week together soon, and itâll be the greatest week ever, okay?â
You nod again, a small smile tugging at your lips. You finish your food and let Jack talk about whatever he feels like, the sound of his voice settling the tightness in your chest. You talk for an hour, long after youâve finished eating and cleaned up. Finally, when your eyes are growing heavy, Jack bids you goodnight, and you hang up the call.
After your nighttime routine, you buy the journal he asked for from one of your favorite sites, and settle down under the sheets, wishing he was on the other side of the bed. You try to fall asleep right away, but of course, you think for a while, and the weight of your life situation hits you again. Maybe itâs time for a changeâsomething to give you more time to be with the be thing that truly makes your happiness. Before you even know it, youâre pulling out your computer again and typing. You have another Christmas present idea, and youâre sure it tops anything you could ever think to buy him.

Miguel woke up to the sound of his phone burring on the bedstand, clicking the stop button.
9:04 a.m.
He slowly rose off the bed, rubbing his temples and heading to the bathroom. He took his time getting himself ready, it was never easy for him since he would regularly work for long hours but today was a day off.
He took a shower, shaving off his stubble beard with a mirror glued on the bathroom wall. He got out with a towel wrapped around his waist and a small one on his wet hair.
Soon as he finished changing, he went downstairs to drink some black coffee and eat some peppered eggs with bacon.
As he scrolled through his work emails on his laptop, he saw Gabriella at the corner of his eye. She stepped off the stairs, approaching Miguel and hugging his legs.
"Como dormiste, mi changa?" (How'd you sleep, my girl?) He let out a hearty laugh, ruffling her messy brown curls. His focus was now on Gabriella, carrying her with one arm while his other hand pinched her swollen cheeks.
"Bien, papi!" She said as she swinged on his arm. Miguel smiled and lifted her back on the floor, reaching for the chair for his daughter. He placed two plates, a small stack of pancakes with strawberries, butter and syrup while the other was a bowl of fruit.
"Make sure to eat all of it, mija. It's bad to let things go to waste." He spoke as he washed the prior dishes from last night, making him vividly relive the memory of his fingers in you. He couldn't shake the thought of you, he kept spacing out on your touch.
He snapped back to reality when he peered his eyes to his phone ringing, his wife. Well almost his ex-wife, the divorce was still in date for court but they went their separate ways months ago.
He wrapped a towel around his hands, drying them and answered the phone. "Hello?"
"I'm picking up Gabriella later today around 6."
Miguel's brows furrowed together. "What do you mean?!? This whole week is my time to spend with her. I have a day off today and tomorrow." He snapped back at her.
"What's the reason for the sudden change?! Im allowed to spend time with my daughter too." He was fired up but whispered into the phone so Gabriella wouldn't hear.
"She just got home a couple days ago, que te pasa en la mente?!" Miguel spoke. She scoffed into the phone. "You're more in love with your work than our own daughter."
"Well I planned a trip for the both of us and I already have everything packed for her. Relax, you'll get her back in a couple days, bye!" As Miguel was about to yell at her, she hung up on the phone.
"Pinche pendeja.." he muttered softly on his lips.
He was furious but had to remain calm to not raise Gabriella's suspicion of why her dad was breathing so heavily and palming his face with his hands.
After a couple minutes pass, he sat next to Gabi watching a cartoon show to ease himself down. He would then urge Gabi to go brush her teeth and change into something else rather than her unicorn pajamas.
Miguel decided to take Gabi to a new toy shop that just opened. He was still pissed about the call earlier but the thought ended up leaving his mind as his focus was now on his daughter's happiness.
5:04 p.m.
It'd been a day or two since what happened. Miguel hadn't sent you a message to babysit Gabi, until this afternoon.
"Hey, can you come over to babysit Gabriella? That is if you're not busy with anything."
"I'll be on my way in 5 minutes, Mr. O'Hara."
"Perfect..thank you. Again, Miguel is fine."
You felt so queasy about stepping in foot back to his house but so excited. You wore a summer dress due to the heat emitting from the sky. The afternoon would always be the hottest time of the day where you lived.
You face the mirror to fix the messy curls that sprung up due to the frizz. You apply some lip liner, finishing it off with a red tint gloss.
5:12 p.m.
You knock on the door, patiently waiting. You hear a click and the door finally opens, the sun shined on his caramelized skin. He look almost jaw dropping.. with a slicked back hair look. Loose black fit pants with a loose button up shirt. His eyes gave off a smile smile and invited you in.
You looked around to find Gabriella drawing at the table.
"Hi Gabi!" You squeal and wave at her as she rushes into a hug towards you. "Yay! You're back!" She was eager to see you. "What are you drawing? That looks great!" "I'm drawing a forest with fairies and unicorns!" Her high pitched voice rang in your ears.
You lean in closer to look at her drawing, acknowledging it. You give her a sweet smile, she returns it back.
You step back and walk to the cabinets to get a glass of juice. Your body jumped when you felt a hand rubbing in circles on your ass.
Miguel grazed his hands on your shoulder, whispering near your ear and dragging you further to the kitchen. Gabi's back facing the both of you two, you felt his hot breath fan you; shivers down your spine and to your core.
"How have you been, muĂąeca? Te ves muy...hermosa." He husked in a low tone. Your breathing slowed down, worried to even peep a sound. "I missed you..was worried you wouldn't come back." His rough hands rub the soft skin on your hips.
His tongue teased your neck, sucking and softly nibbling on it. "N-not here Miguel..your daughter.." You whispered, trying hard to restrain your small whimpers. He hummed in your ears, nibbling on it before detaching himself as soon as he heard a doorbell ring.
Luckily the kitchen had the blinds closed so whoever was outside, couldn't see.
He sighed and you quickly headed to open the door, facing a woman. She had on black sunglasses to block the sun in her eyes.
"You must be the new babysitter right?" She questioned as she placed her purse on the island countertop. "Yes! I was recently hired by Mr. O'Hara, Ms.." You waited for a response from her. "Mrs. O'Hara." She spoke, she reached to grab Gabriella by the waist; a suitcase near the table.
You had thought that he was divorced, you thought pretty quickly to it maybe they just haven't had gone to court yet to fix their situation.
"Mom? Where are we going?" Gabriella prods her head at Miguel and you. "We're going to Disneyland!!" She squeals as she hears the exciting news.
Miguel sighed and rolled his eyes, knowing that she never really gave attention to Gabriella, just spoiling and bribing her.
Gabriella was brought down back to her feet, hugging you and her dad by the leg, waving goodbyes.
You helped her out with packing some of her toys upstairs. When you both finished packing up some extra stuff, you head downstairs, slightly peering your head to see Miguel and his wife whisper about stuff. Miguel's chest heaved as his hands ran through his hair, frustrated.
Gabriella prods her head at what you're looking at and you quickly distract her by asking her something.
"Did you grab all of your toys, Gabi?" "I think so," she said as she rubbed her head and headed towards the door.
The lady drank some champagne from the glass, eyeing you up and down, questionable about you. You were never this nervous, but you worried if she had known.
She averted her gaze back to Gabi, holding her hand and the suitcase near Miguel. "Bye papi!" Gabi squeaked as the door behind her closed. Miguel waved non-stop til he couldn't see her anymore.
He laid his elbows on the countertop, tilting his head sideways back and forth. "Everything okay?" You walked up to him.
"Yeah.. um..it's just.." He hesitated to tell you. "Oh, don't worry! It's fine you don't have to tell me, Mr.-.. Miguel." He sighed angrily, "No no, it's just that..this week I was supposed to have Gabriella. She comes unannounced, not even a heads up that she would take Gabi with her."
As he vented more of his frustration, he felt relief by letting it all out. You were open eares with him, softly patting his shoulder blades to ease him.
"Wow..that's really messed up. Do you have custody of Gabriella, if you don't mind me asking." You spoke softly.
"Yeah, I do. We haven't had the court fully decide yet, it's coming up in a couple weeks. I just hate how she's nowhere fit for her to be actually caring for Gabriella." He sighed and took a big sip from the champagne bottle.
You hummed in return, heading to the snack closet for something to ease him up. "Want some snacks?" You asked. Miguel gets up and walks towards you.
You tip-toed to reach a cardboard box full of gummies, until you felt your body shivering to the touch of his hands around your waist later reaching your bra.
He wraps his arms around you, his touch becoming a bit more daring this time.
"You're very tempting. It's difficult to resist you right now..."
Miguel smiles at you and whispers his words. He then places his lips on yours again, his kiss passionate and eager. He wraps you as tight as he can, his hands roaming your hips.
"Oh, I would love something sweet. Don't you?" He murmured on your neck. His hands pushed your dress up, caressing your plush skin. "Mr. O'Hara-.."
You felt a sharp slap to your ass. "What did I say? LlĂĄmame Miguel.." (Call me Miguel)
He placed a hand on your chin to face him, kissing you softly. The second kiss seemed more like hunger.
"Get on your knees for me, cariĂąo." He husked in a low tone, you obediently listen and laid your knees on the cold marble floor. He caressed your face once more, "Good girl.." The praises that came out his mouth made your cheeks heat up, your blood pumping to your pooling cunt.
Miguel's face lights up with pleasure, his eyes staring at you seductively as you kneel down in front of him. He watches your movement as you kneel, breathing slightly heavier. The way you look at Miguel also makes him feel good.
"Mm..."
Miguel's hand then reaches down and he grabs your head, making you look up at him.
"Open your mouth..."
Miguel moves his hand down to one of your shoulders, moving his thumb along your collarbone and then along your cleavage.
"Open wider, muĂąeca..."
Miguel's smile grows more and more as he sees you opening your mouth. You see his hand moving around your lips, just touching your face sensually here and there. Miguel's eyes never leave yours, and you find his stare to be both attractive and also exciting.
"Mm... Good.."
Miguel's eyes move down to your tongue and then back up to your face. He starts to whisper in your ear, his voice going slightly deeper.
"ÂżComo se siente esa boca, chiquilla?"
Miguel's breath slows, clearly aroused. He stuck in two fingers into your mouth and you hollowed your cheeks softly as you sucked on them for a bit. He went deeper, making you gag continuously, he took his fingers out licking them clean.
Your eyes landed on his bulge, palming it with your hands, rubbing it harder each time, pulling groans out of Miguel.
You begin to remove his pants by unzipping it and pulling down his boxers, his hard cock slapping his abdomen. The red brownish head was practically fuming for your touch.
You part your lips, laying your tongue out and licking the pre-cum streaming down on his tip. You try fitting all of his cock in your throat but you can't so you stroke the rest of him.
His eyes drop down to your face, his eyebrows furrowed together, savouring the delicious feeling of your tongue around his cock. You bobbed your head faster when your throat relaxed, being able to take in more of him. You clench your inner thighs together to feel some relief on your swollen clit.
His breathing becomes shallow the more he becomes impatient. When you looked up at him with small teary eyed..
He loses it.
He needs and wants to feel more of you, he slammed his cock deeper down your throat. The squelching sounds and low groans of his voice made you whine but it was muttered by his cock in your mouth.
You dig your nails into his thighs to keep yourself steady, you feel like you've ran out of oxygen. But you couldn't care less.
"Puta madre..." He whispers.
The feeling of him driving you absolutely mad, his grip on your scalp tightening with every thrust he took. The aggression shocked you, but you couldn't move since he took complete control of your mouth.
His cock pressed harder into your throat, making you gag on and on while tears streamed down your face. Your flushed out face drew him to his final straw.
His hips snapping against your cheeks, the slapping sounds echoing. The feeling of your fingernails digging deep into his skin, your muffled moans clenching harder around his cock whenever you hollowed your cheeks, made him lose his control.
"F-fuck...you're so good...such a pretty little slut aren't you? So fucking good f'me baby..." He scowled.
You kept muffling mhm's as he would praise your touch on him. His hips began stuttering, his thrusts slowly becoming slower as his cock became more and more sensitive with every warm touch of your tongue around him.
He held both sides of your face in a firm but gentle grip, abusing your throat to catch his orgasm. "I'm c-coming..mhmmf..mierda..." He whined.
His massive body shook with his imploding orgasm, he shoved his cock to the back of your throat and shuddered as his cum was hot and sticky on your tongue.
The moment he pulled out, he angled my face to his, towering over my frame. "Swallow it f'me." He spoke bluntly.
Miguel removed your mouth off his cock, his erection still hard and pulsing. All he wanted right now was to be inside you but he had different plans for you. He was going to return the favor back to you now.
You let out a few coughs to catch your breath and swallowed just like he asked. Bittersweet taste left on your tongue.
"Eres tan buena y hermosa, ma." (You're so good and beautiful, ma)
"Llevantate, amor." He panted on your neck.
He grabbed you by the shoulders and lifted you up, resting your quivering ankles on his broad shoulders. His fingers stroking and prodding at the wet stain on your underwear, his cold touch setting you on fire.
"Let me touch your pretty pussy, amor. DĂŠjame ver ese bello coĂąo.." (Let me see that pretty pussy) He tore your underwear off, the cold air washing your cunt makes you shiver. He lightly slapped your folds to see your face contort and furrow.
Suddenly, his hot tongue flicked your wet folds, and heat swirled in your stomach, your clit throbbing. Your skin burned to his touch as he reached for your perked nipples, rubbing it with his hands and whenever he would pinch your nipples, you would jerk forward; making his nose hit your clit.
"M-more Miguel.." You begged, your cunt clenching around nothing left you feeling empty and so needy. Your fingers wrapping around his brown curls, gripping onto them dearly as his tongue lapped on your clit.
"You're doing such a good job f'me, mi amor. Keep moaning my name like that. Fuck.." He groaned into your cunt. He slid into another finger and the feeling was too much for you to handle.
"M-miguel.." Your pants filled with wanton and lust. Your body jerks forward as he slid a finger inside you, your eyes impossibly rolling back to the back of your head as you choked on your moans, mumbling his name as he continued to eat you out like a starved man.
"Mirame, corazon. Keep your eyes on me, yeah?"
You felt too much and too little all at once, it wasn't enough for you but you felt like you were about to get thrown off the edge as his fingers started pounding you deep inside your velvet walls. You kept twitching and trembling, your back arching off the wall as your body hopelessly writhed for him.
Your nerves began stuttering, going numb along with a knot starting to untie. Miguel wouldn't stop sucking on your folds, his nose nudging your clit. His eyes never left your face, he loved seeing how you responded to his touch.
You started feeling a fire pooling low in your abdomen, your heartbeat pulsing faster than before.
You started losing composure whatsoever, when he slid in another finger inside. He didn't stop lapping on your sopping cunt, your pussy clenching around his fingers made his cock ache for your walls to tighten around him.
"It's t-too much.. m-miguel please mhmgf..fuck!" You sobbed and wailed. Your tears wouldn't stop, his fingers plunging in deeper inside your swollen cunt.
"You can handle it, doll.. I know you can." His ears relished the wet squelching sounds and your sweet little moans. You tugged harder into his hair as you felt a wave crashing down, the dam broke which released a leg-shaking orgasm. Fire sprinted throughout your body, the feeling of it taking over your mind with nothing but his fingers and tongue on your cunt.
Your orgasm came in flooding in and electrified every nerve in your body. Your vision fading to black. Your throat welled with moans and mewls, as you kept blubbering incoherently.
Miguel devoured you without mercy, savoring your juices as it ran down his chin. He kept you steady by holding you tight on your hips as you wiggled non-stop, shaking and writhed under him.
You loved drowning in helplessness of the pleasure as it surrounded you by the waist, leaving you breathless, shaky, and light headed.
You became almost feverishly whimpering since Miguel would still suck on your clit, tenderly. He finally removed himself from your folds, smirking at you while caressing your flushed out face. "Te ves bella asĂ, muĂąeca. Eres mia..que no?" (You look beautiful like that, doll. You're mine, right?) You nodded as your orgasm finally came to a stop. He rested your ankles back to the floor, holding you up by the waist so you wouldn't succumb to the floor.
Just when he was about to tease you with his cock slowly on your folds, you both hear a ding from the door. Keys ring through your ears and the door creaked open. Heels clacking on the hard floor echoing around the spacious house, heading upstairs. The both of you quickly start to dress up quickly, you knew exactly who this was.
"Miguel!! ¿¿Dónde estås?? Do you know where the monster high dolls are?!?" A woman voice yelled upstairs. Miguel gave you a quick peck on the lips and a wink.
"What is it this time?" Miguel's voice responded back to her. "Gabi forgot her stupid toys..anyways just tell me where they are. She won't stop crying and I need her to shut up."
Miguel refused to give into his emotions and snap back at her so he gave off a small response to her.
"They're in the hidden basket under her bed, the lock is in the bedstand drawer." He answered, looking back at you tip toeing to the door.
You sent yourself off by going back home quietly and hurriedly.
Miguel was once again incredibly frustrated for the intrusion.
A/N: it's 12:31 am rn, gonna have the best sleep ever. I finally finished it! Leave any feedback, always room for improvement, thank you guys!! (Sorry for the ending once more đđ, I promise to make part 4 hella dirty and long)

A fluffy little oneshot on Izuku x reader, where heâs just crushing on his best friend?
Lil bro I gottchu
(Hope you don't mind, but I did him as a teenager still)
This is pretty bad reading over it ngl but I can't find the right way to write it???
Enjoy at your own risk.
"Today, they had finished Uraraka's strawberry cake so it wouldn't go to waste." The green-haired boy mutters to himself as he furiously scribbles in his notebook. Izuku had found himself writing more about you everyday. Anything and everything you did interested him, even if it was the simplest thing you did.
He first excused it as nothing, he was just writing down everything you did because it would probably strength the bond you two had!
It wasn't until his mother found his open notebook that the realized be might be in love with you.
"Izuku!" Inko had said, her voice slightly panicked. "Why are you stalking this person?" She asks, holding up the notebook in confusion and worry. "I know you're a teenage boy, and you are going through some changes, but-"
Izuku blushes intensely, grabbing the notebook and holding it close to him. "Mom! No, its not like that!" He stammers, face now a heavy red. "They're just beautiful and sweet and amazing and-" He pauses, seeing the look on his mom's face. "...oh..." He mutters to himself, understanding that his feelings for you weren't platonic.
So here he was. You and the Dekucrew all went out to the mall, and had stopped at the food court to eat. Izuku scribbled down everything you did in intense detail.
Uraraka gasps. "Tsu, look! That dress is so cute! Uraraka says excitedly, shaking her friend. Asui perks up, looking at the mushroom patterned dress. "It is! Lets go check it out." She replies, taking her hand and walking towards the dress.
"Stay in groups!" Iida calls after them as he jogs to catch up with the two girls.
Izuku looks up at this, realizing that you and him were left alone, since Todoroki and Tokoyomi went to go find some food a little bit ago already.
Izuku turns red as you make eye contact with him, his palms beginning to sweat and his heart pounding in his chest.
"So, you good?" You ask, raising an eyebrow. "You've been distant the whole day." You say, genuine concern seeping into your voice. You lean closer, trying to get a read on whatevers' inside his head.
Izuku gulps and looks away, using his arms and hands to cover his face. "Yep! I'm good! Just a little...overwhelmed! By all the people here!" He laughs nervously, not daring to make eye contact with you.
You only become more concerned as you place a hand on his arm. "Hey, we can go back to U.A if this is to much for you." Your soft voice makes Izuku blush even more, his hands trembling slightly.
"No! No, I'm okay!" Izuku quickly says, standing up and stepping back. "Hey, just stay here for a sec! I gotta go find Todoroki and Tokoyomi!" He says, needing an excuse to calm himself down.
You seem slightly disappointed, and this makes his heart ache. "Right. Okay." You say quietly, placing your chin on your palm.
Izuku feels terrible for making you dissapointed. No! That wasn't his goal at all! He wants to see you happy, this isn't happy!
Izuku decides to give you a hug as an attempt to make you feel better, but when he does, he just freezes. He can't let go of the hug. He NEEDS to hold you close forever, he needs to just...stay like this. In your arms, where nothing bad could happen.
Izuku hides his face in your shoulder, his body trembling slightly as he realizes how badly he loves you.
Izuku Midoriya had a crush on his bestfriend.
(This is kinda shitty anon if you hate it you can be honestđđ love u)

Hello,
How about a LA luffy where he's dating Reader and he keeps talking about her but no one believes him until she comes and rescue them or something I know not much details but please take this to your account English isn't my first language so excuse me
OMG THIS IS PERFECT! Thank you for the request! I apologize for taking so long to write it I've been so busy and full of writers block its insane! I added a little twist with his and made th reader a gunslinger sooo yeah(for the plot) Anywa here we go! Enjoy
Warnings: None
The strawhat crew was becoming increasingly irritated with how much Luffy would speak of this mystery woman who he claimed to be his 'girlfriend'. In all honestly, neither of them thought he had the romantic capacity to even GET a girlfriend to begin with. But the way he spoke of her...it couldn't all be lies could it?
He mentioned how you'd saved him with your remarkable skills as a gunslinger and you were an amazing shot. He gushed about how it took only one bullet to kill three men who had threatened him and when it was all over you 'pepper his face with kisses'. How you were always there to save him more times than not and that you were just absolutely beautiful. The 'prettiest girl' he'd ever seen as he told it.
"If you guys are so in love why didn't she join you on this little pirate adventure." Nami quips, eyes rolling at the most recent story Luffy had explained. He only tilted his head and smiled as if the answer was just so obvious (it wasn't.)
"It wasn't her dream." He smiles, rocking back and for a bit as Zoro finished off his drink before speaking.
"This wasn't exactly our first choice either but here we are." the swordsman smirks, his arms crossed over his chest.
The smirk was soon replaced with irritation when the waiter went to speak.
"That's different. Besides, I'm sure Luffy wouldn't leave a woman like that all on her lonesome. Right?" Sanji questions, more so trying to convince himself Luffy had more sense than that. But the brunette only shakes his head.
"Nope, she said we would cross paths again one day and I let her be. It was a deal! And now I get to wait until one day I see her beautiful face again." And before anyone could protest or pry any further, Luffy stuffed his face with food.
A sigh rang out from Nami as she leaned against the seating of the booth they're in, only to quickly shoot back up with wide eyes. Since Luffy's bounty had got a hell of a whole lot bigger, there was always the occasional run-in with someone who claimed they'd be getting their money sooner rather than later.
On this particular night though, a gang of about 6 or 7 had strutted up to their booth and slammed his bounty on the cracked wood of the table, making it shake. Zoro paused, debating if these idiots were worth the fight and Luffy continued to eat without a care in the world.
"I'm getting that bounty tonight." Then, what they all assumed was the leader spoke, his hand drawing his sword. This could have gotten ugly rather quickly but the fight seemed to be over with the sound of fired shots ringing through the eatery.
It was so quick you'd almost miss itâŚeach shot followed by another, and one by one each of the men dropped like flies, screams and gasps of frightened patrons filling up the space momentarily. From the darkened corner of the bar stood a woman in a rather large coat that almost touched the floor.
The revolver in her hand rattled before she tucked it away into one of the many pockets that adorned her body. She was a decent height, and her hair was pushed out of her face most likely to keep her line of sight from being obscured. Finally, the once look of disgust that was painted over her features was filled with joy as she stepped over the bodies of the men she'd just laid to waste.
"Luffy!" She squeals, practically vibrating as the Stawhat leaped form his seat and embraced the mystery woman.
This wasn't the usual hug though, Luffy had simply lifted the lady and twirled her, his face buried in the crook of her neck and she giggled and tangled her fingers in his hair.
"I'm sorry did we miss something?" Nami quips, looking to the rest of the crew to confirm they were just as lost.
"This is her! Remember the girl I've been talking about!?" He practically shouts, his hand secure at your waist as that iconic smile plays over his lips.
Oh okay it was finally starting to make sense. Two cinimon rolls but one can and will kill you if they so desire...well-
Nami is the first to laugh, disbelief filling her but the closer she looks the more her laughter and smirk dies down. Luffy's hand was firm at your waist, yours on his chest as you flash a content smile.
"Y/n, meet my crew!" Luffy introduces as you jut your hand out happily, meeting that of whom you soon learn is Usopp and Sanji. Nami was next and Zoro simple noddded in your direction.
"You really know how to pick em! Congratulations on this bounty by the way love." You hum, pressing kisses over Luffy's freckled cheeks.
Damn how much love and affection could you give? It was like every two seconds your lips were pressed somewhere against their Captainâs face! And he didnât seems to mind at all! Well, not that Luffy was bothered by it but still! With one last kiss to your boyfriendâs face, you usher the crew out of the eatery, sliding the bartender some extra berrie to apologize for the ruckus.
The two of you looked so inseparable like that, hands interlinked and swinging back and forth simultaneously.
âYou know what this means donât you. Usopp teases, sticking his hand out awaiting Nami to fulfil her end of the bargain.
She swears in defeat roller her eyes before paying.
Who wouldnât make a bet on something as outlandish as their captain having a girlfriend!?

⥠cute lil simple hc of of the oldmen!!

⥠i might like take a two day break from writing to get it working again ngl
Stan
⥠Stan is extremely protective of you. He never shunned the idea away of you having a partner, but he never really encouraged it. He told you that it was âa waste of time,â that finding a partner at such a young age isnât really necessary until youâre older. You didnât bother protesting against him because at the time you hadnât found your person yet. But when you did, you couldnât lie and say you werenât nervous to tell Stan about it. You knew he wasnât going to be overly mad, but he was going to be slightly against it knowing his views on you having a partner. âDad?â You nervously fidgeted with your fingers. âYes, pumpkin?â You inhale, mustering up all the courage to tell Stan. âI have something to tell youâŚâ You draw out. Stanâs face lightly drops, already having a feeling of what this âsomethingâ is. Pausing his TV show, he loudly gulped. âIâm dating someone!â You blurt out. Stan stares at you for the longest time, the gears in his head turning as he processes what you said. âYou? Dating?â He sits up from the couch. âI need a momentâŚâÂ
⥠After he recovers from the initial shock, heâs bombarding you with questions, such as; âWho are they?â âDo I know them?â âAre they smart?â And so on. You had no problem answering his questions and he had no issue giving you questions with how rapidly he shot them at you. Whenever you answered his questions, you could see the wrinkles in his forehead deepen the more you open up about your partner. This was definitely going to take some time for him to get used to. âThank you for at least telling me, pumpkin.â He says after finishing up the whole Q&A.
⥠Meeting your partner was a must before heâd allow you to hang out by yourselves. When they came over to the shack, Stan had this whole gruff persona. He didnât show much emotion and when he did, it was to show his distaste for what your partner said. âHow long have you known [Name] for?â He interrogated, flashing a bright light to their face. âFor a year now, sir.â They responded, shielding their eyes from the shining light. âSir? I like that.â He mumbles to himself, scribbling +1 point on a notepad. When he turned over to you, he gave you a big thumbs up and a crooked smile. You couldnât tell if it was going well. âWhy do you want to date them?â Stan raised a brow, tapping the pencil on his chin. âBecause I fell in love with them, sir.â Stan let out a loud âhmm,â and scribbled down, âvery straight to the pointâ on the note. After the interrogation was over, he ripped the note and gave it to your partner. âThis is your score.â He said. âI guess you did good.âÂ
⥠He pulled your partner into a room and had a serious âtalkâ about something you didnât have a clue about. But when they came out of the room with a horrified look on his face while Stan was proudly smiling to himself, you had a tiny idea of what he said. They turn around to Stan and Stan twiddles his fingers, his other hand sliding across this neck threateningly. âDad!â You smacked his arm.Â
⥠Even after Stan approved of your partner, he still wasnât fully swayed by them. Whenever theyâd be over, Stan would send death glares behind their back when they werenât looking. But you would always catch them and when you did, Stan would sheepishly smile at you and make a heart gesture and point at your partner. He only ever came around them when Stan noticed them staring at one of the monster tourist attractions. âWhaddya lookinâ at, kid?â They began explaining how interested they were in the craft of making these grotesque monsters and Stan was more than happy to tell them the process. âGlue and staples come in handy, kid. Iâll tell you.âÂ
⥠It wasnât after that, youâd find your partner and Stan creating all kinds of monsters while cackling and talking. Stan saw you walk in and his face brightened up. âPumpkin, look at what they made! It is disgusting.â He pointed a glue covered hand to the little ugly statue of a half chipmunk and fish. âOh? Isnât this somethingâŚâ You poke at the monstrosity. âIsnât it amazing?â Stan laughs, impressed with your partner's handiwork. âOh, yeah. This is amazing.â You plainly said. âIâm going to leave you two beâŚâ Conversation erupted between the two while you walked away with a big smile to your face.Â
⥠âI like that kid.â Stan says, a pleased look on his face. âOh, I can tell, Dad.â You roll your eyes playfully. âHey! Theyâre a great person. Perfect fit for my little [Name].â His fingers reached out to pinch your cheeks. âOh, stop!â You push his hands away. âIâm just messinâ with ya, pumpkin.â Anything will and can make this old man laugh. âYou might as well steal them from me.â Stanâs perked up. âReally?â He overplayed his excitement. You send him a dirty look while he barks out in laughter. âYouâre gross.âÂ
Ford
⥠He never really thought of you ever dating anyone. Romantic partners didnât exist to him considering how terribly alone he is. The only thing he ever said about you dating was; âUh, yeah?â and carried on with his work and that was a good enough answer for you. Ford found out about your partner when he walked in on you and your partner cuddling on the couch. â[Name],â He clears his throat awkwardly, pointing at your partner. âWho is this?â You introduce your partner to Ford and heâs genuinely speechless. âSince when?â He whispers to you after pulling you aside in the kitchen. âSince like, last week?â Fordâs jaw falls open. âAnd you never thought to tell me?â You shrugged. âI asked you and you said you were okay with it.â You tell him. âWhen?!âÂ
⥠He would be so awkward around your significant other. âSoâŚWhat is your name?â Heâs tugging at his turtleneck, silently dying from how silent this whole exchange is. It takes him a lot of time to warm up to them, a lot of hangouts with the three of you together so he could be comfortable with them. He also uses this as an advantage and studies how they treat you and what they should improve on to make you happier. At the end of the hangouts, heâd slip in a note in their pocket. âIf you want to stay with my child, you need to read the note.â He didnât mean for it to sound menacing, but it was unfortunately received like that. â[Name], I think your dad hates me.âÂ
⥠Like Stan, thereâs an interrogation but itâs not as serious as Stanâs. Ford would have called them over and told them to sit down. He begins asking questions and writing down their answers. âWhat are you hoping to do with [Name]?â Your partner blushed. âTo marry them hopefully.â Ford nodded his head. âDisgustingly cheesy.â He wrote it down in big words. âIf I ever wanted to conduct experiments on you, would you allow me?â You jump in at the mention of that. âOkay! I think theyâve answered enough questions, Dad!âÂ
⥠He deep cleans the areas where you and your partner hugged, kissed and cuddled in. âDad, what are you doing?â He has a mask and a plastic protective layer of armor around him. âIâm cleaning all the gross teenage bacteria!â You had to walk out after that. âIs this something youâre seriously going to keep up?â Even though Ford is the smartest man alive, he has trouble understanding the true nature behind relationships. âYes, Dad. This isnât a one time thing and weâre over. Itâs a relationship.âÂ
⥠Oddly enough, they bonded over their shared interest in researching the wonders of Gravity Falls. Youâd often find them outside, Ford kneeled down to the ground, inspecting something while your partner has a notepad in hand, printing down whatever Ford is telling him to write. âHey, what are youââ âSHHHH!â You looked at them with a confused look. âWe need to be utter and total silence.â Ford held out a finger while he whispered notes for them to write. âWhy though?â Ford pointed at a sleeping little fairy that was blanketed in a leaf. âLeave the fairy alone!â Ford opened his mouth to argue back, but his nose twitched and before he could react he sneezed, blowing the little fairy away. A silent tiny scream could be heard. âThat was awesome, Mr. Pines!â Your partner held a hand out for Ford to high five but Ford was too sad to high five them back.Â
⥠âFinal opinions on them?â You ask. âThey arenât too bad. They could be a good research partner.â You smile. âJust donât take them from me.â You say, nudging him gently. âWouldnât dream of it.âÂ

Doctor Nott - Theo Nott x reader
Description: Theo takes care of the reader while she's sick
Short Fluff <3 - word count 500 words
reblogs and comments are appreciated Xx
...
Theodore waited in the great hall. And waited, and waited. 'She's probably just slept in', he thought until more time passed, and breakfast was nearing finished.
Thats when his mind drove him mad, he snapped his head at Pansy. "Pans, where the hell is she" he asked, worry written all over his face
"Oh, she didn't tell you? She's sick Theo, probably didn't want you worrying" Pansy explained biting into her toast
"Fuck sake" Theo muttered, leaving his seat immediately, heading straight for your dorm
"See, Theo, this is why she didn't tell you!" Pansy called out
he shook his head as he walked towards your dorm; why the fuck didn't you tell him? Why wouldn't you want his help? When he had explained to you so many times, that's all he wanted to do. Take care of you, in every way.
Turning the doorknob, Theodore wasted no time letting himself in.
He was met with the sight of sickness in the human form.
"Fuck, baby you look like shit" he called out, quickly sitting by your side, hand on your forehead, feeling your temperature.
"I'm Ok, Theo, really, I'm much better than last night, even Pansy agreed this morning" you say trying to smile.
"You were worse than THIS last night and neither of you called me?!" he exclaimed eyes widening
"Teddy, I didn't want to stress you out, look at you!" you explained
"No this, this is what stressing me out, you not telling me, pushed me over the edge, what about when we get married one day, huh, through sickness and health, alright that doesn't start in the future, it's starts now" he ranted on
before you could even reply he was huffing, crawling into your bed, you tried to push him away
"No Theo, I'll get you sick!"
He stopped for a moment scoffed his face at you, and said
"Baby, does it really look or sound like I care about getting sick, let me take care of you".
How could you say no to that.
So, for the rest of the day, he nursed you better, and by two passing days, you were back to perfect health.
Walking to the great hall, arm around Theos, you express your gratitude
"Thank you, doctor Nott. I wouldn't have at all survived without you" you laugh, giving him a kiss
He laughed back and returned the kiss deeper.
As you sat side-by-side in the great hall, you noticed Theodore's body start to heat up beside you. Looking over, Theodore let out a sneeze,
"Oh no," you said "I'm fine", he quickly retorted, followed by another sneeze.
"you're sick, I got you sick" you frowned
"I'm not." Theodore insisted, voice straining by the second
"Let's go. Your turn to get healthy," You say, forcing his body off his seat
"Please, really, I'm-" he started
"Like you said, baby, in sickness and health," he smiled at the fact that you were able to use his own words against him so soon, dragging him towards his dorm. Theodore secretly wanted to smile; a couple of days of you taking care of him couldn't hurt; actually, it was just the remedy.
Requests now open x
