GojoHime silly ideas:
Tumblr media
Since they're arriving together, it means Gojo was in Kyoto. Strategizing? Possible team-up? Gakuganji human shield? 🤔 He either teleported them with him or they came by train to Tokyo (so maybe Gojo sat next to Utahime the whole time 🤭).
Here's the thing: What if Utahime's CT is a support type & Gojo asked her to boost/buff him? And the only reason Gakuganji is even allowed there is cuz his CT will somehow amplify hers? His electric guitar + her singing. (Maybe Gojo threatened him to help her in exchange for sparing his life 🤪?)
This would mean Gojo asked Utahime to help him (risk her life with him) one more time, just like when she helped him find the traitor. Remember these words from Kinji Hakari to Yuuji in Ch. 157?
Tumblr media
The fact she's there alongside him for the final battle shows the deepening trust between them, despite their differences. Gege, pls give us their backstory 😫!! What if she gave him encouraging words before meeting up with the others, hence their fired-up expressions?
OR, on the OTHER hand, what if Gojo DIDN'T want Utahime to join the fight cuz he doesn't want her hurt, but she was determined to help him? So he agreed ONLY if Gakuganji helps her. Moments prior to meeting the others, however, Gojo tried to convince her once again not to join, but she was adamant.
During this, Gakuganji felt like a 3rd wheel caught in a lovers' quarrel. Resigned, Gojo reminded him threateningly to help Utahime before they entered the school. GjHm didn't realize their serious expressions until Yuuji spoke up, hence their surprise here as if caught off guard
Tumblr media
Or is Utahime looking at Gojo, wondering if they were that obvious? Maybe thinking nervously, 'D-Don't make it obvious about what we were arguing, you idiot!'
Anyways, those are my silly headcanons so far. Pls give us answers, Gege 😫

my clit wrote this so this def sucks & not proofread & kinda selfship-coded . . ૮꒰ྀི⊃⸝ ⸝ ⸝⊂꒱ྀིა *runs away*
Tumblr media
it's endearing, the way you tighten your hold on the silk sheets, buries the sweet face he's missed so badly into the feather-filled pillow, as if that'd help you to tone down the loud and obscene noises that escape your lungs.
"still so shy, hm?" he coos, slotting himself deeper into your aching cunt, "'s not like this is the first time we've done this, angel,"
too exhausted to form a coherent reply, a whine escapes your lips instead, giving yingxing all the answers he needs. the craftsman reads you like an open book. no matter how much you seldom admit to it, deep down you know that it's the truth—that he always knows what to do with you; the things you'd love to hear and feel, and all the right ways to turn you into putty for him with masterful ease.
such as right now; the way he brings one rough hand down from your breast to your hips, pressing down on the plush skin to stop you from squirming too much, pushing you into the edge and humming in satisfaction at each one of your adorable reaction. it fuels his ego to know that he's the only one who can mold and shape you into such a perfect doll for him to use and fold into any position he'd like.
"i can tell you're loving this. would you like me to go harder, baobei?"
from the mirth oozing from his words, you can already picture him wearing the cheekiest smirk that you so despise to see, waiting for any kind of response—which he's 100% sure will not be a comprehensible one.
"gege, i—please—nghh... i-if you do tha—haaah!" you cried out, hiccuping out little incoherent babbles and dragging your nails across the soaked sheets, seeking for any semblance of relief.
so predictable, he thinks. his lips curl further upward, grinning at your reaction, finding it difficult to resist teasing you further, "use your words, baobei, c'mon—or are you telling me that this is enough to break you?"
and as if to make it worse for you, yingxing rolls his hips up, pushing his pelvic bone flush against the swell of your butt until his leaky cockhead manage to kiss that soft spongy spot inside you, and your back arches alluringly in return, lips quivering in a struggle to keep your voice down—fearing the possibility of alerting the entire neighborhood of the debauched activities you two are engaged in.
your lover presses a series of chaste kisses on your shoulder blade like you are his revered goddess, seemingly unbothered by the sound of your wails and whines bouncing off the walls. if anything, he wants to show you off—after all, not everyone is lucky enough to have such precious songbird in their bed.
"still no answer, huh... need me to stop?" he queried, halting all movements as broad shoulders hunched down to loom over your smaller body, silver strands of hair cascading over your back—perhaps to purposely tickle the sensitive column of your neck, adding more stimulation and drawing out more of your sugary sweet voice he'd swallow like the wine he often shares with the quintet.
(your lover can be quite cruel sometimes.)
"g-gege!" you yelp, using the little energy you have left to find purchase in his arm and spoke between gasps, "no, nonono—don'... don't stop, gege, please... wan' you to go harder..."
(but he's never immune to your adorable pleas.)
he cannot help the chuckle that escapes his lungs, because finally, "that's my good girl—see, that wasn't so hard now, was it?" he croons, large hands finding purchase on your sides to maneuver you on your back, and you swore you felt his length twitches at the mere sight of you—mouth agape with a trail of drool running down the side of your mouth, tears clinging to your lashes and the apple of your cheeks, and—oh.
was that a little bump he's seeing on your tummy?
yingxing went silent for a few seconds, before he slowly—painfully so—slides his palm from down your torso, stopping atop your abdomen and pressing down on the slightly protruding flesh, successfully drawing out the most darling squeal out of your spit-slicked lips, followed by a subtle shudder of your body, "gege—! w-wait..."
the blacksmith pays you no mind as he begins moving again, battering your insides with renewed vigor, thrusting faster and shoving his girth deeper, relishing the sight of the bulge disappearing and reappearing with each jerk of his hips. you did beg for him for this, after all—he's just being a good husband and doing what his beloved wife wants him to do!
he gently cups your cheeks, admiring the cockdrunk look you have on your face before he shushes you with a light press of his lips against yours, "sshh, 's okay... cum for me, baobei—be a good girl and cum on my cock, will you?" the teasing lilt in his voice falters into a guttural groan as your walls constrict and gushes around his girth and triggering his orgasm. seeing how hard you're clamping down on him, it's safe to assume that you're trying to milk him dry, knocking the cockiness off his face as he pant on top of you.
once the blacksmith regained his composure, he brings his thumb down, rubbing hearts over your throbbing nub as he stills himself, gazing down at your juices mixed with his milky seed drivelling down your thighs and webbing his pubes. it's a sight awfully lewd and he can't stop the little aww it pulls from his lungs.
(you look your best when he's laid his claim on you.)
"are you alright?" he asks, keeping a close eye on your trembling form before he slather your smaller frame with his warmth, the plane of muscles serving as a shield and a reminder that you're safe with him, that he is here to take care of you.
you nod, dewed lashes fluttering up to meet his, "k-kiss—w'nna kiss, gege, please...?"
and of course he'd comply—when you're asking so politely even in this fucked-out state, colliding his lips with yours to devour the cherry-flavored drool that mingles with his own, eliciting a rather juvenile wish from the old man's heart; to stay this close for as long as forever.

🐺House of Alphas🐺
Jujutsu Kaisen Omegaverse )
Summary: Waking up in a world that was not your own was problematic enough. Being the villainess was another. However, the possessive alphas might take the cake.
Disclaimer: Angsty but I ain’t Gege
Omega!Reader x Alpha!Sukuna x Alpha!Gojo x Alpha!Toji x Alpha!Nanami x Alpha!Getou
~Chapter 37~
Nanami stifled his laugh while waving his hand, “I’m sorry I’m sorry, please forgive me, sweetheart, you were so tense when you asked me such a question. You couldn’t even look at me.”
Gah- you still can’t. You dropped your gaze again but this time Nanami shifted so he could reach his hand in your view, palm faced upward. What was he doing? Did he want your hand? You were about to give it to him before he slowly lifted his hand, your chin guided within its path until you were looking at his hazel orbs.
“Besides I had to get you back for teasing me first.”
“Fine fine, we are even~.”
“Good… now…You asked what I like…” His gaze rests upon you for a while, like the gears in his head were turning in the opposite direction, until finally, he says, “I suppose it’s you…I like you. Whatever you like.”
You slowly shook your head, no that’s his cookie-cutter answer. His vanilla answer. You accept it in the game, you had to…but you want to push further than that. Deeper. “No… not that…I want to know what…. Kento likes… the Kento that has no control….” You poke at his chest lightly. “What do you really like? You, said… you were much like me… afraid of losing control…well,” you pop your lips feeling quite brave while throwing his hypocrisy back at him, “I want you to let go…I don’t want you to think, I want you to be greedy.”
Nanami stared at you with something dark swirling behind his eyes. “…You… want…my sinful desires? My greed?” He was locked in just as much as you were yet he seemed hesitant. Like he wanted to pull away and shut himself off.
Woah- what just happened…his tone had shifted and his eyes grew into that crazed glow that your alphas get when they are deep in lust. But…Why did he look… almost… wilder? Dare you say- scarier- this was a look you had never seen upon him. Ever-
Are you in danger?
He looked so sweet like an Angel but within the same breath dangerous like the devil.
-but then it was corrected into your alpha's normal expression. “You couldn’t possibly-“
“Yes…” you pushed on, too deep to go back now. Or maybe you don’t want to go back. “…Tell me… what my alpha Kento likes…”
A light smile touched the blonde’s lips, “What I like…”
“Don’t hold back, tell me everything. I’m a big girl I can handle it.” You joked lightly seeing his face relax a bit.
He clicked his tongue, gaze flowing over your form before coming back to your eyes, “…One thing I like…no…” His eyebrows furrowed as if he just did you a great disservice, “-love… I love when you look at me…” Your breath is taken away as he speaks, an electric current connects your eyes with his own. Pulsing through his touch and his words as he caresses you with them. “I love… when you say my name… Kento…it sounds so beautiful coming from your lips…”
It was all so sweet.
He then sweeps his arm down to grab your hand that was wringing your dress dry. “But I suppose…” Using your hand he shifts your dress out of the way so that you are touching your very drenched panties.
“Ah-“ you gasped, your fingers forced (not really) to rub your cunt.
And then he shifted into something else-
“…You want to know what makes my cock hard…hm?” You let out a whine. He had you stroke yourself slow… and teasingly, you were already so close to the edge without a clue as to how you got there and when. You were so caught up in his design… seeing him in a different light. Piece by piece being chipped away to reveal something else. You don’t know who this man is, yet you did at the same time. “…What I truly want to do to you. I never…think about it…My sick thoughts I keep locked away… I would be afraid to scare you.”
You were close…you were so close. Your eyes now glossy and blurry.
Nanami chuckled deviously going faster, “You’re doing it again… Holding your breath. I always wonder if you’d pass out…if I were to relinquish all control like you would have me do, I would fuck you until you woke back up and pass out again. Would you dream of me fucking you? Would you whisper my name in your sleep my little bird ?”
“Ah-“ your eyes rolled and just as you felt your undoing Nanami snatched your hand away causing you to gasp life into your lungs followed by a deep moan of disappointment. “N-Nanami-!”
You blinked fresh tears as you looked up to find your handsome sweet alpha giving you the most insane smile you had ever seen, eyes blown behind blonde hair. His appearance akin to lunatic Gojo.
He spoke quickly as his eyes lit up like he had just discovered something, “Sorry little bird but I believe I want you cumming on my tongue- ah yes… I’ve been salivating over it this whole time haha~ -if you would have left me I would have been happy with the fragrace you’ve graced me. I probably would have spent all my cum into my hand until it went away- wondering how delightfully you would have tasted-yes- yes I want it- I want as much as you can give me, whatever you have to offer- not a drop of it should go to waste- would you be such a dear?”
You could barely keep up- what the Satoru 2.0. “Is-is that what you-Ai!”
“Yes!” Nanami yanked you by your wrist as he fell onto his back, “-more than anything!”
..
~
Feral Nanami anyone?

Got tagged by @gege-wondering-around and @dontcallpanic so here you have another snippet for my demon!stiles au!
“So. I know what this thing is,” because there comes a point where your only option is ripping off the bandaid, and also, Stiles has exhausted all his other resources. “The good news is I know how to get rid of it.”
“And the bad news?” Derek already sounds like he doesn’t want to know the answer. Stiles would feel guilty, he really would. Only, Derek brought this on himself, really, letting Stiles into the pack all those years ago. He should just accept that Stiles will do his thing and rest easy.
“Uuuh… I’m going to have to talk to my Father and that always sucks,” and he’d been doing so well, too, dodging his messengers and little notice-me calls. The fire had been a little too on point, though.
“The Sheriff? What for?” Scott tilts his head in that way that makes him look exactly like a puppy. Stiles has a sudden urge to squeeze him until he bursts.
Heh, good old cute rage.
“Oh, no, not my dad. My Father. Completely different people,” Stiles is met with blank expressions. Huh. Right, the puppies don’t know who his Father is. Eh. Not his problem. Derek can explain it to them on his own time. “Anyways, it’ll be a pain in the ass because I’ve been trying to avoid his calls for a while now and he’ll be so clingy and smug, but I’ll take one for the team,” he says, ever so graciously. Ugh, Belial is going to be unbearable, too. Stiles is so not looking forward to that conversation.
More blank stares. Stiles smiles, nods once and turns around. He’ll have to go kill an animal or something for his sacrifice, since his Father still refuses to get signal on Hell. So messy. Stiles hopes his Father understands he won’t be returning until he gets stable wi-fi connection because he is not giving up Google.
“What? Stiles that explains nothing!” Lydia says, exasperated. Stiles doesn’t know what she’s talking about, he made perfect sense of himself! “You haven’t even told us what this thing is!”
Oh. Okay, maybe that one’s on him.
Please don't take this seriously. I beg of you. Also I know this makes absolutely no sense at all but it will be. Eventually. Maybe. Hopefully. Tagging @oldefashioned @salty-fryingpan @novasillies @hedwig221b and of course @dontcallpanic and @gege-wondering-around again, thank you so much for the tag!

Seeing your latest post. Do you think there is a connection with JJK 0 ending theme? It's title is "Sakayume". It's by King Gnu too.
Believe it or not, someone else in 2022 was intrigued by the JJK 0 ending theme being called Sakayume. Quoting this poster directly:
"逆夢 sakayume Is a dream that contradicts reality. It’s unrealistic meaning that it can’t or won’t happen in real life."
This song is then compared to the anime's ED 2, Cö shu Nie's give it back.
"I feel this song is about 逆夢 sakayume in a sense. The song speaks about “giving back the dream” It’s called “Give it back” and it’s like “give me back the dream” “what happened to rest of the dream and why did I have to wake to reality”  basically it’s longing. It’s longing to go back to the dream and not a reality that contradicts that dream. So when I hear this ED I also think of the movie’s theme song for them which is Sakayume!"
Keep this in the back your mind. It only gets worse from here.
Yuji and Megumi's Character Songs
Recently, I got this in my replies from @mizzi14-blog.
Tumblr media
(Here's a link to all the character songs with corresponding videos for listening.)
A translation for Megumi's character song Uchujin's Hakujitsumu (Daydream). From the last stanza:
This is not a song to just forget about the painful past This is a song that confronts the sadness The moon in the night sky waxes and wanes There are no stars in sight. But even in the darkness, tomorrow shines brightly And this is a song I share with you.
In summary, this song is about someone trying to confront their trauma but getting swept up in a daydream with their beloved.
A translation for Yuji's character song Kuchiroro's Itsuka dokoka de (Sometime, Somewhere). From the last stanza:
Nobody knows… Ah. The heart of my real self is so cowardly. I try to scream until I lose my voice. I don’t need anything… I bear a fate I still cannot accept. If I can share my feelings somewhere then I might speak about how my dream continues…
In summary, this song is about someone who feels lonely and isolated dreaming of their ideal world through the pain.
Y'all this diabolical. What the hell.
But wait there's more!
Sukuna mocked Yuji and Megumi's doomed love when he made the Enchain Binding Vow with Yuji using some ridiculous wordplay way back in JJK 11.
Enchain doubles as Megumi Activities. But let's break that down some more. (Unfortunately the Twitter account of the person I referenced may or may not be nuked so here's this screenshot I've doctored.)
Tumblr media
So we have the translation of Enchain from 契闊 (Keikatsu), which might be better localized as Separation.
This term comes from a Chinese poem about lovers who are husband and wife in The Book of Odes, Section I (Lessons from the States), Chapter 3 (The Odes of Bei), Poem 31 (Banging the Drum). (Here's a link to the full poem and context of it.)
In summary, it’s about a soldier who is on the brink of death, having lost nearly everything after being abandoned by those in power, lamenting the happiest days of his life with his love are ones he can never get back. (Hey that sounds just like what Sukuna did to Yuji!)
Keikatsu specifically comes from this passage:
“Our vow is beyond death and life”, I and you are together I always remembered. I will hold your hand, And together we grow old.
Too pitiful we are faraway apart, The distance separates us to meet again! Too miserable this takes forever, And it does not let us fulfill our vow!
Keikatsu is used to exemplify how the physical distance between the husband and wife prevents them from fulfilling their wedding vows. And that's just what Keikatsu/Enchain does to Yuji and Megumi, it causes painful separation neither of them wanted.
In Conclusion?
GEGE GREGORY AKUTAMI IS THIS JUST DOOMED YAOI ALL THE WAY DOWN?????? GEGE!!!! ANSWER ME!!!!

Musing on Kashimo. I didn't originally find his character interesting, but 238 made me want to look into what Gege was going for with him. After some review, my conclusion is that he's constantly dissatisfied. Not because he's just a Fight Junkie™, but rather because if what Sukuna is saying is true (and Kashimo doesn't deny it), then Kashimo wants to treat others with care, but doesn't know how.
Fundamentally, violence can excite him (as much as it can be boring, like he implies many of his fights before Hakari were), but it can't bring him peace. Sukuna, to Kashimo, is "perfection". Why? Is it because Sukuna is unbothered? Or because Sukuna doesn't feel ill at-ease alone? Maybe it's just wanting a perfect body and a perfect soul, but given how Kashimo is looking away when Sukuna says he's greedy for being troubled by solitude when slaughtering others, I think it's deeper than that. Kashimo keeps his eyes closed, but makes what looks to be a grimace/smirk combo when Sukuna explains his own philosophy.
Using his Cursed Technique meant dying, and Kashimo used it to try and find an answer for his issues with connecting to others, and the pursuit of power. But I don't think Sukuna's answer satisfied him.
When Kashimo lived 400 years ago, he chose a path of bloodshed that left him as a small, dying man amidst carnage, with Kenjaku's words as a final temptation. In the Culling Games, Kashimo once again chose slaughter, forgoing connection, until he met Hakari and found someone he could find surprise and satisfaction (delight, even) in. In the times Hakari seemed to be perishing, Kashimo deflates, first expressing boredom, then resignation (and perhaps loss). After giving Hakari a chance to do unto Kashimo as he had done to others, Hakari chooses to make a deal with him.
The expressions Kashimo makes throughout and after the fight are quite interesting. He's drawn as if he doesn't know what to do with himself, and clings to the goal he made in the last moments we saw of his first life. He's confused at Hakari's claim of getting another to obey by being his senpai (Yuji), which he mistakes for being Sukuna's senpai. But he doesn't voice this.
Ultimately, in his third chance at discovering himself, he chooses his goal of fighting Sukuna to the death, foregoing any future chances, and leaving the connections he could have made behind. In those moments where he converses with Sukuna, my interpretation is that he regrets it. In his final death, he realizes that he'd traded away his remaining chances to connect with others, so as to allay his fears of the unknown with the familiarity of battle and imagined purpose.
It's a negative character arc, where Kashimo chooses a lie (the thrall of battle) at the expense of growth and self-fulfillment (finding companionship and learning how to care for others). I don't think it's a perfect fit, and obviously there is a silly air to it, but the theme song for "Private Pure Love Train" does describe Kashimo's mentality and character arc destination:
Tumblr media
I didn't care much for him before, but I'd have liked to see how Kashimo fared during the timeskip. Did he stick close to Hakari, or did he coop himself up and away from others? Did he get to know Kirara or Maki? What did he think of Sukuna's former vessel, and what might interacting with Yuji have revealed about both of their characters? In the end, that possible development or regression was skipped. All I know is that Kashimo exited life's station, alone.

"Overall, I definitely agree with you. Gege has shown investment in Sukuna as a character, and I'm hoping he doesn't give in to fan influence to abandon the progress he's made so far. "
After last chapter giving sukuna haters funny faces that look like those edits his haters make, I'm not that hopeful anymore. Giving Sukuna an awful and humiliating death to please THAT fandom sounds really disappointing from Gege, at the very least defend Sukuna since you obviously like him, have some PRIDE, show him smiling at yuji and admitting he grew.
Meanwhile Kenjaku who cut Yuki in half as well apparently deserved a comfy fight and good ending while his sins may be even greater than Sukuna lmao. Sorry I'm just pissed, I don't want fan pressure to ruin Sukuna and Yuji forever
Hi, anon!
Yeah, Sukuna definitely has a lot of haters in this fandom, despite the fact he is arguably not the worst character in JJK. He's also one of the most dynamic and fascinating of the villains, and most of that is because of his complex relationship with Yuuji.
So far, we've seen so many interesting things that really highlight how contradicting Sukuna is as a character and that also show how much influence Yuuji has over him versus pretty much everyone else. Even if Gege decides to not doing anything with all these developments, it still doesn't change the fact that they are undeniably there.
One of the most compelling developments so far, to me, has been Sukuna's willingness to listen to Yuuji, even if he claims to despise the brat's ideals and wants to break them.
After their fight in 237-238, Kashimo asks Sukuna if it's lonely being the strongest. Sukuna's concept of love is similar to competition: By being the strongest, other sorcerers admire him for that strength and come to challenge him; Sukuna responds to that "love" by vanquishing them all. He lectures that people like Gojo and Kashimo, who lament the loneliness that comes as an effect of this singular strength, are greedy. Yet when asked if he himself was satisfied with being the strongest, Sukuna doesn't even acknowledge the question. He has no good answer for why he split his soul and became cursed objects that could "cross the ages." Instead, he replies to Kashimo's question by saying love has no worth or meaning.
Tumblr media
If his vague non-answer wasn't suspicious enough, he goes on further by trying to justify his philosophy as "a perfect way to pass time until death."
Tumblr media
The biggest thing I want to point out is how absolutely childish Sukuna's philosophy is. It's literally just indulging himself how ever he wishes, doing as he pleases, all to pass the time. Because he is the strongest, he claims to be above weak feelings like love or loneliness, but if his lifestyle was so great... why escape it by becoming a set of cursed objects in order to awaken in the future?
(Sukuna: No comment.)
He himself describes indulging in humans as "fleeting." Even if there are in fact endless flavors for him to try, none of them last, so nothing can be savored, nothing can be remembered, and nothing can truly satisfy if it's all so passing and worthless. Even him saying it's a way for him to "pass time until death" sounds so hopeless and unfulfilling.
It's seems like to me that by becoming the strongest, he's completely lost touch with how senseless his actions are. What happens when he runs out of humans to eat, or when he runs out of lands and challengers to conquer? If he's truly convinced his self-absorbed, depraved philosophy is the ideal way he should use his strength, then how come so many of the people he meets are convinced he's lonely?
And also why does someone like him elicit Yuuji's pity? Why is Yuuji the only one who really seems to get to him?
During their fight in chapter 248, Sukuna completely shuts down and starts obsessing over why Yuuji bothers him so much. Whenever literally anyone else questions Sukuna's philosophy or his motives, he disregards and mocks them for it. Yet when it's Yuuji, he's on the defensive. Yuuji really is making him reconsider things, and he can't stand it.
(btw yes that's a literal pout he's doing right here)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Yuuji confronts him, Sukuna has a full-out melt-down. He's literally staring into space, completely losing track of everything else that's going on. Unlike anyone else who ever questions Sukuna, Yuuji is the only one who's actually making Sukuna think for once.
When reflecting on all the other people whose ideals Sukuna was so dismissive and dispassionate about, even the King of Curses himself admits that with Yuuji it's ~different~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay so... I guess Yuuji being in your way wasn't good enough reason to want to him gone? No, it's his ideals and resilience that bothers you that much. Why is that? Could it be that he's gotten too far under your skin, far enough to touch your non-existent heart?
Yeah right....
Also, this relates to how Yuuji is the only one who can come close to shattering Sukuna's hard-set ways. While there have been quite a few who wanted to teach Sukuna how to "love," they went about this in a way that's much closer to the definition of competition than what is actual love, much like how Sukuna sees it.
Yorozu became completely obsessed with Sukuna because to her his loneliness was "singular." When she is reincarnated, she believes she is the one who can teach Sukuna what "true love" is.
Tumblr media
Back in chapter 218, their confrontation is so much less complex than Yuuji and Sukuna's. Sukuna dismisses her so easily and hardly reflects on it. Her "love" is weak to him. Though she is powerful, she cannot hope to contend with the level of Yuuji's determination and dedication to his ideals.
Likewise, Gojo was also convinced Sukuna was affected by the same loneliness he was. He claims that he will be the one to teach Sukuna love because he's the closest - some people say equal - one can come to Sukuna's level of power.
Tumblr media
Sukuna, however, is not terribly moved by this. Though he has respect for Gojo's strength and says he will remember their fight forever, he is still nowhere close to being shaken... not like he is with Yuuji.
So what makes Yuuji's approach to teaching Sukuna love so different? It's because he's so much weaker in terms of power compared to any of the others Sukuna was confronted by. He comes from an entirely different perspective that no one else has gotten close enough to Sukuna to share. And because of this, he's not making it a competition. He's being empathetic about it instead.
The whole of chapter 265 is basically Sukuna actually listening to Yuuji. It's so interesting because there is absolutely no fighting going on. Usually when someone confronts Sukuna, they do so right before, after, or during a battle with him. But in this case, it's peaceful. It's completely different than any other time someone has tried to "connect" with the King of Curses.
Yuuji's approach to connect with Sukuna is to tell him his life story and show him all the places he grew up in. It's extremely casual, close, and intimate. In response all Sukuna can say to this is -
Tumblr media
The way he suddenly interrupts Yuuji, when before he was uncharacteristically quiet for most of the time and willing to go along with it, is very telling. He described this kind of intimacy as "creepy" to him ... which is an interesting choice of words. The mythic, immortal, all-powerful King of Curses is "creeped out" by a little oversharing and walking through Yuuji's unthreatening memories? Really?
And what's even more interesting is Yuuji's way of destroying Sukuna's world view so simply.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's essentially telling Sukuna that his philosophy is useless.
Sukuna believes in this rigid hierarchy where only the strong can rule, and only the most selfish and heartless of the strong can sit atop that hierarchy. But what Yuuji is telling him is that... there are no set roles humans are born with. Lives aren't worthless and aren't defined by whatever "roles" they are forced into. Which means that a caste system built entirely on the "strengths" of people is about as stable as Sukuna's sanity.
Tumblr media
Yuuji has tremendous empathy throughout this whole scene. Instead of asserting that his viewpoints are the only ones that are right, he instead admits that maybe he could be wrong... which is far different from Sukuna, who wouldn't dare admit he could be wrong.
And the way Sukuna pauses before he says he doesn't feel anything about what Yuuji is saying and showing him makes me think he's lying or downplaying how much Yuuji is affecting him.
Although some fans might argue that the purpose of this scene was to show how irredeemably heartless Sukuna is, I just can't accept that there isn't so much more going on here than that.
So... to make a too long meta short: Whatever ending Sukuna and Yuuji get, it can't take away these amazing interactions between them that defy all the expectations we had for a "static" villain like Sukuna and a "useless" hero like Yuuji.
They will forever be one the most interesting, complex, and fascinating relationships in manga to me, and I'd sell my soul for them to get the ending they deserve.
Thanks for the ask! Sorry for the mess of this post ;-;

okay so i fucking hated the airport scene and i need to exorcise it by explaining why and making it everyone else's problem
jujutsu kaisen spoilers up until chapter 236
Okay, so to preface this, my main issue is that this part of the chapter strongly clashed with my interpretation of Gojo's character and, in my opinion, isn't a suitable farewell to him. I know that some people will read this and think "Oh, so you're just mad that things didn't go the way you wanted" and... yeah. You know, I didn't like that something I didn't like happened. That's not unexpected, but if you're not interested in reading that, I totally get it! I just want to go into more detail about why I wasn't happy with the way this went.
I also want to add that I have no qualms with Gojo dying. I'm not thrilled by the way it happened, but this happening is fully expected within shonen codes. I get the significance of it and why it needed to happen for the story Gege wanted to tell. That's fine by me.
Now, to the airport scene.
Tumblr media
We'll start with the first panel, mostly as an illustration. This panel shows, from the uniforms to Gojo's glasses and his expression, that we are in the presence of "high-school Gojo". This is reinforced by the presence of Geto, particularly because the only time when we've seen the two of them interact normally was during the Hidden Inventory Arc.
On top of that, Gojo, throughout the airport scene, acts more 'naturally' than he does in the manga, Hidden Inventory Arc excepted. I'd argue that with his students and with everyone following Geto's defection, he tends to have this 'wall' up (both literally and metaphorically). He doesn't talk to them with this kind of ease.
My issue with this is that it very much reads like character regression. It's been a decade since high-school for Gojo, give or take, and for his farewell I don't find it interesting to portay him not as he was, but as he had been.
The obvious answer to that is that this depicts Gojo in the time period during which he was the happiest. I don't wholly disagree with that — especially considering the emphasis in this arc about 'the loneliness of the strongest' and the fact that this was likely the only time when he didn't feel lonely.
Tumblr media
I just regret the lack of distance with this idea. Even if it was the time when he felt happiest, he wasn't his teenage self anymore. I wish this had been reflected more. Like I said — this, to me, doesn't feel like a farewell to who he was at the moment of his death, because I'm not seeing the Gojo I'd seen throughout the manga.
Another, less obvious counter-argument could be that this emphasises that Gojo was stuck in the past and couldn't move on from his years in high school. I don't think this is particularly proven as true through the manga. The importance he gives to training his students and his belief that they can become stronger than him seems to show an interest in the future, not the past.
Tumblr media
This is the next one. My issue isn't with Sukuna being stronger than Gojo (I don't care about that). Considering the central part Mahoraga plays in Gojo's demise (as Sukuna states right after)
Tumblr media
the line about the Ten Shadows feels icky to me, but whatever on that front as well. No, what annoys me about all of that is that considering all of Gojo's confidence up until the end, it... makes him look like a cocky idiot? Which, okay, isn't that far off when it comes to his characterization, I'll give Gege that, but it was always warranted up until that point. Being unable to see danger coming to that degree, especially with the Six Eyes, is kind of ridiculous.
It also lessens the importance of Sukuna's supposed admiration for him, imo.
Tumblr media
It cheapens both his death and his character to me.
I'm fully aware that people have used this as proof of Gojo's selfishness and essentially as showcasing his adrenaline addiction, and I get that it would make sense if that was your read on his character, but it came out of left field for me.
Another answer to that argument could be that this is Gojo's perception and doesn't reflect the reality — maybe he thought that but Sukuna didn't — however considering the timing I can't help but feel that we, as readers, are at least supposed to receive it as fact.
Tumblr media
This one is less of a criticism and more of a note. It's not uninteresting as far as characterization goes. I think it doesn't come as a huge surprise that Gojo would feel that way but I do regret that this was never explored before. I'm not convinced it was hinted at all that well either, and it doesn't help that the one example we have of him being 'adored' is Miwa being a fangirl. Once again, I regret that we don't see anything about his students here. I think it would have been warranted.
Tumblr media
This is probably my favorite panel out of the bunch, which I don't think is going to come as a surprise. This feels like a callback to him being a teacher. I like it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, this is probably my least favorite part of this. Nanami has said things of this nature before, he's called Gojo egotiscal,
Tumblr media
so it's not new that he believes that. However, that is echoed by Haibara (and other people apparently, hence "we all thought that") and also by Geto, since he's the one who concludes "was just proven right by your actions a second ago". I have to assume Geto, in saying that, is referring to Gojo's fight against Sukuna.
I kind of fucking hate that. First of all, what Nanami says is something that I considered to be blatantly untrue in the manga. As far as I'm concerned, Gojo was constantly portrayed as caring deeply for his students, wanting to leave them a better world, and while I don't think he wanted to protect people the same way Itadori does, it's not like it's absent from his motivations either.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(The second panel is him asking about the people that got trapped in his domain expansion, while in Shibuya. This showed he was worried for their well-being. His decisions in Shibuya were also motivated by his decision to limit human losses.)
Geto essentially agrees with what Nanami is saying, which I think is intended to tell the audience that Nanami is right. That's who Gojo is, the person who knows him best even tells you that. Again, this feels very high school Gojo, without the decade of character development and of caring for kids that he has necessarily done since then. It's also telling us that Gojo fought Sukuna because he thought he would enjoy it, not for any sort of higher purpose (I do also hate the "I had fun" panel that comes earlier, in case you were wondering lol).
I also think that this removes any notion of responsibility which Gojo would have shouldered by choice, which I think contradicts other parts of the manga. Honestly, to me, Nanami's take here is so far removed from what I had received from the manga up until that point that it's kind of jarring.
As mentioned before, due to Geto's intervention, I don't think this can be interpreted as "just Nanami's opinion". Due to Gojo's lack of disagreeing and the fact that this chapter is his last, I do think it's intended as the 'true interpretation' for Gojo's character, by the author that is (is it going to stop me? No, but I think authorial intention is interesting to look at/try to find).
Tumblr media
This one I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to, because considering Gojo's conversation with Nanami at this point, he could be talking about Nanami. If he is talking about himself (and I do think that is the case), I want to put it on the record that I also hate it! Again, Gojo not caring about the students he's leaving behind, to me, does not feel 'right' or in character, and they're not mentioned once save for that one throw-away line about Megumi.
Tumblr media
I'll discuss this real quick before concluding: is it a dream? I don't think it's that important here. Regardless of whether that's Gojo's hallucination in his final moments or truly the afterlife/the antechamber before reincarnation, considering the position this half-chapter occupies in the story, I don't think it alters my reading of it.
With that being said, I'm leaning towards it not being a dream in part due to Nanami's line about Haibara, which echoes exactly what we saw when Nanami dies.
Tumblr media
This line is for the audience in my opinion, not for Gojo.
So where does that leave us? Well, to me, the heart of it is what I said earlier: this feels like a goodbye to high school Gojo, not the one we see through most of the manga, and that was who I wanted to see, and the one who I believe deserved this farewell.
On top of that, for the most part, the characterization of Gojo as done by other characters borders on character assassination, in my completely personal and admittedly biased opinion. It's not at all what I would have wanted him to go out on. Leaves a very bad taste in my mouth and makes me feel silly for caring.
What a sad way to go.
I typically conclude these kinds of posts by saying that I'm happy to discuss what I've said if you disagree, however for this one, I hope I've made it clear that my issues lies with the disparity between my interpretation of Gojo and this scene, as well as just what I would have liked to see, and it's therefore very personal. I do think that if Gege wanted me to have this interpretation of Gojo he didn't do a good job of getting me there, but if you disagree and you liked this scene, you know, more power to you. I don't think that means you're wrong. I just had a bad time reading it and I wanted to talk about it. With all that said you can 100% disagree obviously, but I'm not looking for a debate.

What do you think of itafushi and satosugu?
Ah I think I was asked about this before but back then my opinion was very non-opinion. Because I hadn't gotten that deep into the series yet. I also answered an ask about satosugu earlier.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will say that they complement each other very well. They understand each other better than other characters, like I don't believe that something like Gojo not realising how bad Geto's state was until it was too late would happen with Yuuji and Megumi because they seem to figure each other out pretty well (though we can possibly blame Gojo being high on his new powers and too self centered due to it). Gege also did draw parallels between Geto-Gojo and Yuuji-Megumi duos. But that's not something I'm gonna focus on here.
(Manga spoilers up to chapter 266 ahead!)
Yuuji and Megumi's relationship is deeply intervowen into the text of the manga itself. The fact Megumi chose to save Yuuji despite the fact it put more people at risk is what sort of started everything. And the actions of the two impact each others development.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Todo was asking Megumi about his type, and when he is not hearing an answer he adds that it's fine if he prefers men. Why is this needed here? Gege is not making a joke, like a homophobic joke some average dudebro author would make because a male character is taking his time to answer, where said male character then gets offended and the audience laughs. Todo is very chill, it's a non-issue for him. Megumi is also not shown to be offended or even phased at the implication. Well there is no joke, so why did this need to be added? To imply. To hint. To put the idea in the reader's head. And then Megumi answers and uses 'person' instead of a girl/woman. Also the fact many male characters seem to point out Megumi's cuteness/attractiveness makes it even more obvious that Gege seems to like the idea of Megumi being 'available' to both men and women. Obviously women think he's cute as well but that's sort of given.
Megumi's type is someone who has an 'unshakeable character' according to a translator I asked about it. I once read another person say it's 'unwavering humanity'. This translator said this goes with Yuuji's name, but I have also seen a translator who thinks this is a bit forced interpretation, and that unshakeable character is more accurate. Apparently the word is more about character than kindness.
Tumblr media
However when asked about his type, Megumi thought of Tsumiki.
Before that, when Yuuji "died" Megumi was imagining Tsumiki on a field surrounded by countless sunflowers. Sunflowers apparently symbolise passionate love, and the more sunflowers, the more intense the love is. So there is that implication that Megumi's feelings for Tsumiki might be not completely familiar... Megumi is someone with abandonment issues, because his mom died and his dad left. So he has low self esteem and doesn't value his life. But he had Tsumiki. And he developed that intense need to protect her and care for her. In Jujutsu Sousen which is the prototype for jjk, Yuuji also mistook Tsumiki for Megumi's girlfriend, and Megumi's reply was that "well, she is someone important to me". Megumi did everything for her happiness' sake, which is why he lost all hope and will when she died.
Tumblr media
Yet, I do see that Megumi has a soft spot for Yuuji.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Megumi tries to come up with ways for Yuuji to live, while Yuuji tries to come up with ways to die. I noticed Megumi is a bit tsundere because he's not that smooth about comforting another person, so he comes off a bit mad like here, calling Yuuji selfish for caring about him, haha.
Back to Tsumiki.
Tumblr media
It feels like in the absence of Tsumiki, Megumi started to look for Yuuji as someone to idealize, as someone who to learn from. That mission where he took the criminal's badge to give to his mom, that action is something he wouldn't have done without Yuuji's influence. And in this moment above he's thinking about both of their genuine, sweet smiles, placing them next to each other in his mind. Yuuji has in a short time become someone important to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And as I said it seems like Megumi has a bit of a soft spot for Yuuji.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is why Yuuji has this effect on Megumi. I never see Megumi mellow down like this as a response to other people. It's like Yuuji gets through his defenses.
Tumblr media
Here's the tsundere again. Megumi shows his care with certain level of aggression because like I said, he's not the smoothest person around.
Tumblr media
Even when he's about to die, he thinks about Yuuji. I do think it makes sense that someone like Yuuji has become so important to him in such a short time. Because he's Megumi's type of person.
And I also noticed that whenever Megumi smiles in the manga, it's either due to him making progress as a sorcerer or it's because of something related to Yuuji.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's the framing here how Gege does the little smile that I find interesting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course there's also this moment where we see a very genuine Megumi smiling. This moment is very important because it was even used in the recent MV with Yuuji, Megumi and Sukuna. I think Megumi's connection to both is very important to the conclusion of the story.
Notice how I talked mostly about Megumi? Because the differences in his behaviour are easier to notice, compared to Yuuji's "I get along with everyone" personality. Obviously, Yuuji does like Megumi a lot, as we see in the previous images he easily gives him compliments like calling him reliable and smart (or even cute when teasing him with Hana lol) and he is also very protective of Megumi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What's funny is that the last moment immediately reminded me of Naruto and Sasuke's dynamic in the land of waves. It's identical (please don't kill me narusasus who dislike itafushi and itafushis who dislike narusasu). I also think he really does admire Megumi and immediately notices him first out of all the other people (like with Ozawa and Nobara). And just like Yuuji influences Megumi, Megumi influences Yuuji, and makes him think outside of his own mindset "what if someone you saved killed someone else in the future?". They both also acknowledge each others differences and respect them.
I don't think his answer to Todo (I mean he seemed unsure in his answer too) or his comment about Jennifer Lawrence are necessarily dealbreakers considering this is Gege lol. Gege seems to make Yuuji indecisive, like how he couldn't answer the question whether he prefers dogs or cats because he's unsure, or how he says "I guess" when referring to his type of girl. He says 'tall girl' but when actually tall girls that fit his supposed type show up like Ozawa and Yuki, he doesn't show that kind of interest in them. I'm not saying he can't like girls by the way, I'm just saying Gege hasn't shown Yuuji show genuine interest in women unlike for example Horikoshi has with Deku. With Yuji it's a one-note joke, with Deku we actually see him show attraction.
But the reason why I point these things out is because Gege is very particular about Megumi's character, to the point his editor commented on it, so I don't think he would draw things for no reason. If Yuuji is the only person that makes the usually stoic Megumi smile and if he manages to mellow down Megumi's worried/distressed side then that is something important, since Gege feels the need to repeat these situations. Author intent is always important. However I know some people probably aren't fans of this but Gege is clearly very fixated on the connection between Megumi and Sukuna as well. Possibly even more so. They have a lot of connections that would need their own post. I talked a bit about Megumi and Sukuna here but it's not even close to being everything you could write about Gege's writing concerning them. Also, Yuuji and Sukuna can't stand each other and are currently pretty much fighting over Megumi (lol). I don't think Megumi will stay passive though, as we see in this recent chapter, he is fighting back. But it's something to think about.
Tumblr media
(Different translations, under is myamura's (Go_Jover) translation.)
And in this recent chapter, Megumi is once again placing Yuuji and Tsumiki next to each other, imagining a calm, relaxed life with them. I already imagined that one of the character image songs Gege chose for Megumi , Weezer's 'Island in the Sun' was just about having fun with Yuuji and I was right!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuuji dares to finally admit he needs Megumi too. And Megumi's comment 'Someone like you'... Megumi really does place Yuuji high, and I think people are starting to see it. Yuuji makes him happier and more relaxed. And the fact he lost all will to live, yet regained it because Yuuji would be lonely without him, speaks volumes as well. And to Yuuji Megumi is also a special person. I don't know if there will be a happy ending for them, but they definitely changed each others lives.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Tawus! We got 33 Q&A’s from Gege about Gojo! 😫 His parents are alive but they couldn’t raise him bc apparently it would ‘interfere’ with his education as a jujutsu sorcerer. 😔
Until you answer this ask I won’t be asking any ‘what-if’ scenarios with this new information. Omg Infidelity ‘what-ifs’ are about to expand.
Tumblr media
And we love to hear that
🧿
Tumblr media
This answer confirms Gojo has a huge dick.
🧿
Tumblr media
Another one of my interpretations of his character that’s luckily turned out correct
🧿
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Such ~mwah~ answers that I had to include them
🧿
Tumblr media
I love cats also, but as a fellow Sagittarius, I confirm that we like dogs more…
🧿
Tumblr media
Not surprising, given his super fast metabolism.
🧿
Tumblr media
I don’t remember where, perhaps in that one answer about Gojo’s personality, I said the same thing. Good to know I’d interpreted him sufficiently well.
🧿
Tumblr media
I’ve left this one for last for a reason. Gege’s answer about Gojo’s parents comes contrary to what I’d envisioned, which was that Gojo did have a loving mother and father at least up until his teenhood. The reason I was so sure of that is because Gojo, despite being in the league of gods with his power, does have a certain sense of empathy, compassion, and justice. These things don’t just come to be in someone as privileged as him. Someone else has evoked and entrenched those principles in him. It had to have been either his parents, or parental figures, or a childhood friend, or a mentor.
I screenshotted this question in particular, even though the one about his parents was a few questions back, because here Gege states that Gojo did have a mentor within the Gojo family. It had to have been like that. If it weren’t his parents, then there had to be someone else in his childhood who instilled those principles in him. It could’ve been an uncle, a grandparent, a sensei, or even one of the servants. But there definitely WAS someone.
Now, I am taking a callous step in suggesting that Gege himself may not have had the best relationship with his parents… And I’d said it more than once in the past that Gojo and Mechamaru are both his intentional representations, they’re two sides of Gege. Which is why I reckon Gege chose to not give Gojo a very strong bond with his parents. I personally have experienced both a good parent and a shitty parent. And I can trace a lot of my behaviours and tendencies to both my genes as well as how these parents brought me up. The society and the world is inherently harsh and self-serving. So the good and the noble qualities in us have to be instilled by someone in our childhood, for them to become a part of our core in adulthood. If Gojo didn’t have someone in his childhood teaching him compassion, teaching him that the strong must not terrorise the weak, and teaching him that human life has irreplaceable value — he would’ve turned out a scummy person, indifferent to the sufferings of humans; in short, he would’ve been a villain. Since he’s perfect in every way, he, from the start, has no way of sympathising with other people. So that sympathy had to have been taught.
Following Gege’s answers, I’m really curious who that mentor in Gojo’s childhood was. I hope that it’ll be addressed in the next Q&A 🙂‍↕️🪄

hello there 👋 i really like the way you view things i feel like there's way too much negativity surrounding this ending and not to invalidate anyone i don't think it's perfect but i personally was very satisfied and happy with it, especially with sukuna and yuji which Almost scared me we weren't going to get a conclusion on. isn't it so beautiful that yuji literally changed sukuna to his core? the he literally decided to try a different path in the next life because yuji showed him there's value in life and others outside just passing the time until death? it's such a powerful message for someone who didn't think there was anything more to life than just surviving and satisfying his basic needs. some people take the fact that sukuna didn't accept Yujis offer as a rejection and I wanted to hear your thoughts on this because I don't think that's the case I think sukuna is a very very veryyy stubborn individual that would not back down from his beliefs until he literally died/lost. as mahito said this was a battle of truths. i see so many people saying that's it and they'll part forever but their souls are canonly connected so much so that even other people could sense it like uraume, so much so that in one chapter i think mei mei was fearing that yuji could be unconsciously channeling his thoughts to sukuna via telepathy and give away their plan, while sukuna was possesing megumi! as you pointed out in a prior post and i also noticed yuji literally felt that sukuna was embracing his mindset in the afterlife how insane is that??? he was smiling up at the sky as if he could see him. these two will 10000% find each other in the "next life" and every other after it (and I'm definitely not writing a fic about that exact thing happening or anything) I'm sorry this ask isn't very much an ask tbh i just wanted to bother you because we have similar views jfkdkvj hope your day goes well you don't have to answer 🙏
Hi ... Yeah i agree that it is not the best but it certainly is not bad... But i can understand those who didn't like it as the majority of questions remain unanswered. I myself wanted some answers especially yuji related....what I really like was we were all ready to be disappointed but sukuna yuji again saved us😭😭...... I genuinely felt so relieved when I saw sukuna... I knew gege would give him the conclusion he deserved....
Post chp 237 my only wish for him was that he learns about love (through yuuji) dies satisfied... Like it was bare minimum and gege delivered it which made me so happy...
Although I still feel weird that he did not mention yuuji but at the same time I also can't deny that his calm and gentle expression, him accepting his faults, his wish to try a different path, him comforting and guiding uraume to North , every action of him screams yuuji .. And then him accepting that he has become boring coz he lost is chef's kiss.. You know why???? It's because that is what he used to call yuji 😭😭😭😭.... Even writing this made me feel so warm....Mind you he never called anyone else boring... . This is the level of effect yuji has on him.....
To think that he rejected all opportunities life gave him since he couldn't let go of the resentment he felt all his life... His wounds were so deep that couldn't help but inflict them back..And I understand that because in yorozu's flashback we saw how those heian nobles called him monster even though he was invited there as a "deity" by the emperor himself so we can imagine what he must have gone through when he was a child, weak...You know he went from this to this..
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How tired he looks here, so done with life but here he looks so peaceful, composed . Like I can feel it that yuuji freed him from the shackles, from his curse... Him looking forward to trying a new path where he wants to live with someone rather than cursing them is just heartwarming...
Now about the rejection point.... I know many people use it to downplay yuuji's effort but I knew all that would become useless once we get sukuna's conclusion... ... You know this moment is very special because this is the only time we see sukuna being emotionally vulnerable.. Like you will only see his true emotions when he's with yuuji... Any other time his emotions are in control but with yuji his emotions are all over the place.. But I digress...
Well I feel he both accepted and rejected yuuji's offer...He calls yuji's kindness a farce but in the same breath he also acknowledges him.. Now if he believes yuji is acting which that grandpa knows yuji isn't as he has lived with him and said himself in 248 that he knows yuji. than what he's acknowledging him for?? That means either he's lying or it's yuji .which definitely isn't yuji...
And then he said to not underestimate him as he's a curse..notice how he pauses before calling himself a curse.. This is the first time he chose to address himself ..and this is enough to tell us how he views himself.. He enjoys fighting but never once did he call himself the strongest like gojo but a curse coz that's what he thinks of himself subconsciously....
What I felt at this moment was that he was trying to reject yuji by saying it's him who isn't capable of living with others... And yuji shouldn't forget that... later in 271 we did get to know that it's exactly what stopped him from getting help.. He rejected any opportunity to live with others because he wanted to curse others just like how others cursed him..
How I see this is as sukuna didn't want to live with yuji because he doesn't want to become a burden on yuuji especially after what he put yuji through, yuuji wanting to save him doesn't mean yuji should be responsible for him. Yuji finally got free from the burden of being his vessel so he deserves a carefree life..
And sukuna is too mature and proud enough to let yuji a kid bear the burden of his curse and so he chooses to die like a curse (south) so he can start anew as a human (north) .
But he didn't reject yuji completely which is evident in his wish to try a different path and that is to live with others and not curse them like yuji said. Sukuna type people believe in might is the right philosophy so all they need is a good beating to get things through their thick skull... And then all is good..
And If he really hated yuji or was furious at him he would have cursed him or would have rejected him outright like he has done before but he did not....
Although this is my personal opinion, I believe there's more to sukuna yuji that we have yet to see as sukuna went from calling himself a curse to accepting his faults and wishing to try a different path... Plus yuuji was assuring them that the finger is not dangerous and had this gentle look on his face remembering sukuna .. So maybe they did talk more or it's the soul bond ig..
Yes, I am surprised gege didn't give us an explanation on resonance but it definitely was a big issue as juju high literally excluded yuji from their plans.. So something must have caused this..Choso also mentioned in 251 that yuji sukuna souls are combined and that they are special case.. So I am hoping we get some more info..
Honestly I really wanted them to live together in this life but I don't want to complain as my mutual pointed out it was gege who showed us that this idea is feasible in the first place otherwise we all were almost convinced that yuji will die.. ..
Please do not write a fic , and definitely not send me the link, coz I definitely am so not gonna read it 🫣🫣🫣..
It's alright.. I have made this account specifically for sukuna and yuji. So if not them, then who am I even gonna talk about.... I am always ready to yap when it comes to yuji and sukuna..

Modern Uni AU. Boyfriends Hualian. XL rooms with MQ and FX while HC somehow snagged one of the few single rooms in the upperclassmen building.
Hualian find out very soon that they can’t study in HC’s room because they’ll just end up making out on HC’s bed for hours. XL will try so hard to keep them on track, literally turning away as he studies on HC’s bed while HC is banished to remain at his desk.
HC manages to get some work done before sneaking his way over to XL, who currently lays on his front, typing up notes. HC covers his boyfriend’s body with his own, pinning XL down with the weight of a sack of potatoes.
“San Lang, do your homework,” XL sighs, unaffected by the extra body on top of him. HC merely buries his nose in the crook of XL’s neck.
“Bleh.”
HC then pretends to snore.
XL pauses his typing, and says, “You’re not being a very good study partner right now.”
“I can be a different kind of partner, just say the word,” HC cheekily answers.
XL sighs. Gathering his strength and utilizing the element of surprise, XL flips them over so he sits in HC’s lap.
“San Lang, you’re being too greedy. We’ve barely even worked an hour,” XL says seriously, borderline scolding his boyfriend. HC is undeterred.
“I am simply lobbying for a higher wage,” HC remarks, sliding his hands up XL’s sides, teasing the edge of his sweater. “Three kisses per hour of work just isn’t enough to sustain me.”
XL raises an unimpressed eyebrow. Without breaking eye-contact, he reaches behind him to fling off his notebook and somehow place his laptop on HC’s desk.
“How about four-“
“Let’s go for time, Gege,” HC suggests with a sparkle in his eye.
“What?”
“Hm, it’s easier to keep track that way. Let’s say, ten minutes of kisses per hour of work,” HC says.
“Five.”
“Eight.”
“San Lang.”
“…Nine.”
“That’s not how bargaining works,” XL frowns, flicking HC’s forehead. HC just laughs, sitting up so he can skim his lips along his lover’s neck.
“It is when kisses are at stake. Come on, Gege, please? Just a few?” HC begs, pressing light kisses along the column of XL’s throat. “I promise we’ll get more work done after.”
Liar, XL thinks. But he doesn’t turn his head away as HC mouths his way up along XL’s jaw, then his cheek, kissing until he reaches the corner of XL’s mouth.
Without saying anything else, XL concedes by capturing his boyfriend’s lips in a tender kiss, melting against HC’s body.
HC smirks triumphantly against XL’s lips. Using one hand to cup XL’s nape, he quickly unlocks the watch on XL’s wrist and sets the timer to ten minutes. Without wasting another second, HC leans back on the bed and yanks XL down with him, bodies flush together as they lose themselves in fervent kisses.
Mysteriously, the timer never goes off.
It’s only when XL’s phone goes off, MQ asking if XL is coming down with them for dinner, do HC and XL pull apart with enough rationale to think.
Oh my god, XL thinks. I’ve been bamboozled!
HC, the sly fox he is, instantly sits up with a bright smile. Because XL is too stunned to speak, HC sneaks in yet another “innocent” kiss.
“Gege, it’s dinner time. Let’s go!”
“I- give me ten minutes,” XL says in a strained voice. HC tilts his head in question, then notices the obvious bulge in his boyfriend’s pants.
“Well look who decided to join us today~”
XL chucks a pillow at his boyfriend’s head with a glare.
The turn of events has HC going down to the dining hall with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face while XL calms himself down. Which was kind of difficult to do since he’s surrounded by HC’s scent…
When XL finally joins the group, FX and MQ immediately fire off their questions.
“What took you so long!?”
“Why are you so red?”
XL coughs, then takes his seat beside HC, who wears a satisfied smirk.
One look at the pair and Fengqing know not to ask any further questions.

Ficlet Request for 100 followers! Post-canon Hualian domestic fluff! 😁
Hii! Here you go ❤️ I hope you enjoy!
A gentle, refreshing breeze flowed over a small shrine nestled on a hill. It picked up and softly tossed around the long fine strands of Xie Lian’s hair, making him sigh in peaceful bliss. That sensation mixed with the sunset was just such a wonderful end to the day, soon made completely perfect by the presence of his husband.
Hua Cheng sat next to him with a tray in his hands, offering up a cup of tea. With a small hum and nod of thanks, Xie Lian took it and sipped, savouring the delicate flavour and marveling at the talents of his husband.
“Today was really nice,” he whispered, looking out over the sights from the hill. “I love when we can do so much here.”
His husband took a moment to reply, and when he spoke, his voice was filled with warm laughter. “Gege, today has not been what I would call ‘nice’. It was one degree away from being classified as a disaster.”
“Getting stuck and falling into the mud of the rice fields is nothing,” he waved it off. He’d had far worse tumbles in the past 800 years.
“What about that ox going mad and chasing you?”
“I’m a fast runner.”
“And the farmhouse falling around you?”
“I don’t even notice anymore,” Xie Lian laughed, remembering the thousands of times the houses he built collapsed or burned down. “That farmhouse was destined to fall in the next wind storm anyways. It was better taken down by me; besides, it gives us a good upcoming project.”
Hua Cheng frowned at that and then sighed, shaking his head. “Your shackles have been gone for years, and yet your luck still seems to be against you.”
Xie Lian hummed again and leaned into his husband’s arm. “My luck has gotten a thousand times better ever since I met you. Even when I answer prayers on my own, I’m a lot better off than I used to be, and it’s all thanks to you, San Lang.”
“Gege…”
The way Hua Cheng was looking at him, Xie Lian knew he wanted to protest or to offer to transfer him all of his luck. It had been a conversation they’d brushed over several times, though the god definitely thought his husband was overreacting.
“Even if you weren’t able to pass it, your love is all the luck I need. With it, I can endure anything… Even when the things that go wrong really can’t be compared to how it used to be.”
After putting the tray down next to him in the grass, Hua Cheng delicately took the nearly-emptied cup out of his husband’s hands to put on it as well. Xie Lian laughed when the ghost king then lunged at him, sending them rolling from the impact.
Hua Cheng pulled his husband in to rest on top of his chest, and wrapped his arms around him in a tight, snug hold that both of them enjoyed immensely, enjoyed the moment until the sun went down.
When the evening chill finally started to settle, though neither of them were really affectedby it, they still moved inside to have a late meal of offerings and pull each other back into the tight hug once they made it to their bed.
“… Really though, San Lang, my luck has gotten better,” Xie Lian murmured into his husband’s chest. “Didn’t you notice? I didn’t get hurt even a little bit.”
“Of course I noticed. Had you gotten hurt, there would’ve been dire consequences.”
Xie Lian laughed. “Like what? There’s nothing you can do about gravity or the nature of animals.”
“There isn’t, but I would have had no choice but to swoop in and give you plenty of ‘care’ in plain sight,” he teased, making the god groan and bury his face in even more.
“San Laaaang…”
“Maybe some extra spiritual energy applied directly to the spots that might have been sore… Imagine if the villagers had to witness me literally kiss your-“
Xie Lian huffed and turned without prying himself from the hold on him. “I’m going to sleep.”
“Gege,” Hua Cheng whined, nuzzling into his hair. “Gege, I’m sorry.”
“Shh. I’m sleeping.”

with gojo, geto and even kenjaku dead, do you think satosugu's story is completely over? because for me personally, if this is the end of their story, it feels kinda unsatisfactory and inconclusive. i hope we get more content and there are so many questions about their story that still need to be answered. i dont expect gojo's censored last words to geto to be revealed ever but i hope we get at least a somewhat conclusive ending.....
Just a heads up to anon(s), I try to keep things as spoiler free as possible by tagging so try to be mindful of that in your questions where possible, pleaseee

⚠️ Spoiler warning for chapter 236 of JJK.
First things first, I don't think we've seen the last of Gojo, jump down to that spoiler warning to see more info on why I think that. In summation, even if it's short lived, I think he's still in play and what we saw in 236 was a dying thought not quite committed one way or another. That or there is a battle to be won or a facet of Kenjaku's plan that will be explored in the purgatory we've seen.
I'm not sure if it's a proper conclusion to Gojo's character if we don't see a remediation of his hubris unless the intention is to see some sort of redemption through ItaFushi. All that to say, I think Gojo has a decision to make regarding getting on that plane or not.
I don't know that, stylistically, Gege is the type of mangaka that will give us something comprehensive enough to address the truth of Geto's parents or what he did in the 10 years of his separation from Gojo. Exposition wise, we tend to get information introduced to us very passively like how Megumi talked about Yuta long before he was introduced. A better of example of their exposition style is how they soft launched Choso's relation to Yuji, subtle enough to be missed, until we got the big reveal with Kenjaku!Kaori.
But I also absolutely do think we'll get Gojo's last words to Geto. This is the same person who penned the following devastating one liners:
There is no curse more twisted than love.
My Six Eyes tell me you're Suguru Geto. But my soul knows otherwise!
The sound of the Gion Shoja bells echoes the impermanence of all things; the color of the sala flowers reveals the truth that the prosperous must decline. However, only we are the exception.
When you die, you die alone. Dying to win and winning despite dying are two separate things. Be greedier.
You really think they won't turn the knife on SatoSugu one more time with that reveal? Even though they've already told us those final words were spoken already throughout JJK0. I still think it's that first one.

;-; i was going to send an ask for the artful reaper because he is among the characters i think haven't had much shown for yet (at least i think, in comparison to others?) but i ended up reading a bit more about him and now i have a problem ;-; i have many ideas for him so let me just say a few amd you can pick if you wanna answer any?
-i love bunnies so would he be okay if his darling asked to play with/ cuddle essio, reassuring him they'd be really gentle
-since he is touch starved can i nuzzle him-
-how would he react if someone who crushed on him wrote about him in a poetic way, about how wonderful he is and maybe also like, mentioning little things he does that he might not be aware of, but in an endearing light. Like, making the mundane parts about him sound lovely too
(- would he be okay with his darling asking him to turn into the dark vapour thing and watch him fly around, it sounds very cool-)
I know there are a lot- but he's cute and i don't have self control 😣🙇 Wishing you both a great day!!

𖹭. ‘i love bunnies so would he be okay if his darling asked to play with/ cuddle essio, reassuring him they'd be really gentle’
. ˚ oh but he would be more than thrilled to allow you to play and pamper essio as much as you wanted, watching you with as a smile as you and the bunny eventually fall asleep by the large flowerbushes in the estate garden.
wandering over to you quietly with two cups of tea in his hands, a small smile of serene peace finds his lips the second he catches sight of you and the bunny huddled up right next to the large, vibrant flower bushes.
with swift moves, he reaches the both of you in no time.
giving you a little nudge and pressing a kiss to your cheek as he gently places the cup of tea into your hand, he watches as your eyes open ever so slowly, while his hand that previously held his tea is placed in the soft grass to move down and pet essio. he looks into your eyes with everlasting love.
“Enjoying your time with the baby in the shade hm? you are adorable xin gan” he hums pressing a little kiss to your lips and drawing a giggle from you
𖹭. ‘since he is touch starved can i nuzzle him-’
. ˚ always darling, the first thing he does every day he wakes up is to reach over to you and pulls you close — and when you are not there, he gets all pouty and solemn, he needs someone to cling onto and be able to kiss all over.
the second you reached over to him and gently took him be the arm, wrapping it around yourself so that he brings you closer, he looks down at you with a big smile.
“gege, give me a kiss” you ask with a soft smile on your face, index pointing at the two plush lips that await his.
“oh but my dear, who am i to deny such thing?” he murmurs and presses his lips against yours, lovingly, with a small amount of yearning as well — it is not hard to tell he has missed your touch, despite the fact it had only been a few minutes ago since he last kissed you breathless, holding you close.
squeezing your waist and leaning down to press another kiss to your lips before moving a kiss to your nose, he pulls you in close and slowly sits the both of you down on the grass.
“rest on me, my love? you look like you could use the rest. and i shall hold you until you wake once again”
𖹭. ‘ him, how would he react if someone who crushed on him wrote about him in a poetic way, about how wonderful he is and maybe also like, mentioning little things he does that he might not be aware of, but in an endearing light. Like, making the mundane parts about him sound lovely too’
. ˚ but darling it’d make his entire reaper heart melt, flutter in ways it never has. he has not had many things like that in his life before — often being the artist painting the muses. you would make tears well up in his eyes. he would feel so loved
“you continue to tend the garden of hope, the one which the green and hearty palms of you sowed and assured would grow vibrant. spirits born in the technicolored arrays of light of the flowers and the glow your soul gives them — the smallest parts of you, they are delicate and admired. whether it is by the way you tilt your glasses to the side before adjusting them to be straight on the brink of your nose.
the way you subtly hum when something stirs wonder within your mind, the curious pout you give and the way it makes this heart of mine throb in ways unable to be described.
you never realise your own beauty, but teach others to see what they carry and sprout like the nightshade you help heal when they have withered.
it would be the littlest of things that you did and you would have this fast, warm blooded heart of mine skip a few beats to take a few more moments to properly feel the radiance of your presence.
your smile, though you hate it, is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen — reminicent to that of the midnight moon, it shines and draws me to it and you have no idea
you planted this seed within my soul and made it grow to eventually blossom, and the love that i hold for you is something i cannot help but express through reminding you of how much beauty your being as a whole carries.”
the words written on the paper makes his own, slow beating, cold, heart squeeze and tears well up in his eyes, the crystalline liquid rolling down his face.
he lets out the smallest sob, drying his eyes as he leans back in his chair and grazes his tongue against one of his sharp teeth. inhalnig deeply before letting out a shaky exhale.
smiling to himself, all he whispers to himself is the quietest: “he/she/they makes me feel so loved I don’t even think they understand. . . how can someone be so lovely.”
𖹭. ‘- would he be okay with his darling asking him to turn into the dark vapour thing and watch him fly around, it sounds very cool-’
. ˚ he’d give you so many warm hearty laughs the second you asked if he’d put on the little show for you, happily doing it if it meant you’d have something to study about him again.
“You want me to cloud eh?” he teases, poking gently at your ribs and chuckling when you swat away his hand embrassed.
“stop teasing me! it’d be so cool i just wanna see!!” you pout, looking away and give him a little smile.
with another few laughs and teases, he turns into the big cloud of dark vapor, circling around you for a bit, before kissing you abrutly.
it’s such a weird feeling, but oddly refreshing? it’s the way you can feel his actual lips beneath all the vapor, yet you feel he isn’t his physical self either — an airy feeling across your lips sending sparks through you.
and before you can try and kiss back he starts circling you again before rushing all the way across the garden, his laughter echoing through the entire estate grounds.
