The other day I was thinking of how zombies could fill a few (horny) niches but just can't really get there. Like they wanna cannibalize you at all costs, but the "desire" element most people are into is not really there, cuz they'll eat anyone. Necro doesn't work well either cause generally the main appeal is the stillness and quiet and "I can do whatever I want now", and a zombie will very obviously end up eating/turning you first chance they get. Being mindless/mind-broken isn't all the way there either cuz I've seen it mostly hinges on you being responsible for it, which you can't really get in this case. I think "getting infected" has the highest chance of working, but gets dragged down by the whole undead putrid flesh thing, which a lot of people may not really be into (lol).
