what is this shrimp trio about? + that you may ask? yes! these three are the shrimp trio, they are based off with both regretevator and dandy's world! did you make them? + yes and no, I did make both the second in the middle and the third one to the right but not the first one because he belongs to the game dandy's world :3 what are their names? + from order to left and right, the first one is name shrimpo, second is Steinex, lastly the third one is also shrimpo too! why do two of them look similar? + the reason why two of them look similar with their looks it's because both shrimpo in this are from two different areas! Shrimpo is canonically the one of the left to be known as the original Shrimpo as for the last one... his AU is called "Dandy's Redempt AU"! this au contains different styled versions of the canon one and how they were redempt forming back to themselves after dandy's lost control making every toon twisted as for the main character who is known to be Astro, Shelly, and Vee to help the others and regaining themselves back to normal toons rather than being a twisted for a long period of time until they are completely safe. are you going to continue with the undertale fandom? + yes I will but, it would be a rare chance to see me draw something undertale related because I have been reaching out into different fandoms such as dandy's world, regretevator, pressure, friday night funkin', etc. Sorry if that's what you really found me to be an undertale artist and see undertale art but- that's how it's usually going to end. Read the Reigen Spin-Off

If you read my previous post on finishing the Mon Psycho anime, then you already know that this sweaty rat of conman has gotten my attention like many others.

If not, well, welcome! How are you? :)

Disclaimer: So, I decided to go with the physical copy of this. Yes, the one by dark horse because that's what was available to me and I REALLY wanted a physical copy of this book. I went into it knowing that there might be a few weird translations here and there. However, I didn't notice anything too crazy changed from those pages with the physical copy scanlation, so I think it's fine. Unless I completely overlooked something, which is entirely possible.

(Unless we count that moment where Reigen tells Serizawa to call an ambulance when the man is clearly unconscious and the weird naming of Rusty, but honestly, that's just funny to me.)

However, for convenience, I will be using the scanlation pages if I need to show examples.

Oh, boy, oh boy. I was excited to dive into this one.

After watching the anime, which was fantastic and became a favorite of mine, I was eager to see what shenanigans Reigen and S&S would get into.

However, while there was plenty of Reigen, Serizawa, and even Dimple, always a treat, this spinoff was more of a heavy focus on Tome. I already knew that would be the case going into this, but I wasn't sure by how much.

It wasn't a bad thing, though. Those small grounding elements that she got in the anime was even more prominent here, and made her feel like much more of a character. Her eagerness to talk about the supernatural being balanced by the other more experienced characters helped with that. She's as eager as always about the occult, and she really does embody some similar qualities to Reigen.

Both dive into things recklessly and are also opportunists who can take advantage of a situation to their benefit, but still have a heart of gold underneath.

However, unlike Reigen, Tome is still very immature when it comes to the supernatural, which is more clear when in chapter 5.

A part of me doesn't blame Tome for her questions to both Serizawa and Dimple. Most people would be curious about if psychic powers could be learned and just what it means to be a spirit in the spirit world. Especially for a teenager.

However, both Serizawa and Dimple were right to call Tome out.

If you already won't do something that you can do without powers, why would having powers change that? What makes you think your mindset will change? Maybe it will, but do you know that for sure? On top of that, Dimple has a point in saying that Tome shouldn't complain about Dimpl's lack of knowledge, when she herself still has so much to learn about her own world, let alone a world that runs on different logic. How can she understand the spirit world without learning the basics of her own?

Even Reigen tries to get her to understand.

It also continues to showcase Reigen's growth as a character and I love this.

However, I can't mention the Reigen Manga without making mention of this-

Reigen taking on the curse, running off into the forest, and ultimately tricking Rusty into getting devoured by the forest's curse. This was both very smart, but also very reckless. I both love and hate this man, lol. (And of course he'd say something about not suing for sexual harrasment. Reigen you emotionally suppressed bitch.)

Even Mob showing up right when he's needed is wonderful. I missed my boy so much, but his small inclusion was still satisfying. He sounds so exasperated when he shows up, but you just know the boy was worried for Reigen. I have no doubt he rushed over the moment he knew where to find him. That, and the dialogue right after sounds a bit like banter. Mob has come such a long way!

Of course, this was also my first time really getting acquainted with ONE's art style.

It is. . . Rough. At least compared to most other manga I've read. However, it's also not the worst that I've seen, and when comparing it to Mob Psycho Vol. 1, it's clear he's come a long way. That, and it's pretty obvious ONE tries to make his characters look pretty different from each other, which helps to remember who is who.

He's very good at making something look grotesque, too. Seriously, the way he draws certain spirits makes my stomach coil.

Thanks, ONE, I hate it, lmao. (Seriously, why did he have to have Reigen's head sticking out?)

Plus there were some panels where characters were drawn pretty decent too!

There's definitely more than this, but here's a few.

(I also hear that ONE did get some help drawing other things, mostly BGs but I don't blame him. Backgrounds can be hard, especially when trying to get the characters and the BGs to match eacother in size and perspective.)

All in all, REIGEN was a joy to read. Seeing the continued development of the characters, especially Tome, was fun. Roshuuto was a good foil to Reigen. Serizawa is really coming into his own, and Dimple just being there is always a treat for me, lol (love that asshole spirit). I doubt it will happen, but I would love to see this spinoff get animated one day. Not as a series, necessarily, but an OVA or two would be nice.

I believe all women when they accuse men of sexual abuse. But I don't believe all women about everything lol what a moron, you really thought you did something there? There are many women I don't believe when it comes to their abhorrent political views and no matter their ethnicities. I don't believe women when they spew racist, homophobic or religious nonsense for example. Or when they use a monstrous tragedy like the holocaust to screech "antisemitism" every time someone objects to the murder of women and kids in Gaza.

I believe the palestinian women I saw holding their dead children in their arms, crying. I believe the palestinian women who were ordered to strip and walk naked as male israeli soldiers spit on them and sexually harassed them. I also saw several male Israeli soldiers posing with palestinian women's underwears as trophies all over social medias, and I tend to believe my own eyes too. And I believe the jewish women who faced Hamas' violence and rape.

Thankfully, because I'm not an antisemite, I don't believe jewish people are a monolith, nor that the Israel government represents all jews, because otherwise I'd believe jews are all bloodthirsty racist idiots. But it's not the case. There are many great jewish people who are opposed to the colonisation and genocide of Palestine. And you'll find them all over the world. They keep saying "not in my name" and I agree. But you? You keep conflating the two, Israel with jews, which, considering Israel's despicable behaviour, serves to promote antisemitism towards innocent jews. If you truly care about antisemitism, I suggest you stop.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that, when you told me that I should believe jewish women, you didn't mean ALL jewish women, just the ones who are okay with calling palestinian families "animals" and "terrorists". Stop saying "jewish" when you mean "zionist".

Ep 28 loose thoughts

I'm glad for the lighthearted opening, because I know it'll just go downhill from here. Also, PSJ lumped with the men while ZYZ gets to annoy them from the distance is peak comedy. Again, I'm pretty sure we'll need all the laughs we can get.

Also, this is purely from an aesthetic point of view, and seeing ZYC out of his usual deep blues, grays and indigos was jarring, to say the least. The sandy beige does not compliment his porcelain complexion at all... unless they were going for this washed-out, weary look specifically, in which case, A+ (and boy, does he have reasons to be weary lol). Bonus: Ying Lei and PSJ knowing exactly why he's calling ZYZ a bastard 😂

"Next time, please finish your words in one go." Where's the fun in that though, ZYZ? You walked right into that one all by yourself 🤣

Of course Li Lun's way of "asking" for the scale was to threaten its owner with death. I'm afraid he hasn't learned anything... pity, really. I would love for him to have *some* sort of character growth.

Wow, ain't she miss popular all of a sudden! Is the Chongwu Camp guy gonna help LL to save Bai Jiu's body, or is he gonna go with his boss's orders after all? And of course the boss has *something* on the princess - I refuse to believe that his repulsive ass is Meng Xuan.

What's with that look, LL? Did you forget that the 3-face-mask - what's his name again? Wen something? - is after ZYZ's inner core? Did you think he was gonna stop trying to get it when you backed out of your deal? (Unless he's more like, welp, there goes my chance to get rid of the  poison...)

The whole "why do we need the scale" sequence is sending me. Ying Lei: she's so good at making up stories! ZYC: she probably got that from one of her novels. But of course, the show will not let us forget that the success rate of interspecies romance in this universe is exactly zilch, nada, and zippo... and here I am, still holding onto hope for some kind of satisfactory ending. Omg can I just barf. Wen Zongyu *is* Meng Xuan? Is it just me who finds the taste of the Wilderness women we've seen so far shacking up with humans - Bai Jiu's mom and now the princess -  highly questionable? Like, why. My aroace ass cannot conceive how the princess could fall for *that* guy, of all people. I've sat through all the tragic romances so far not quite understanding maybe, but believing in all of them, but this, no.

(Also, it is now confirmed, that little bridge is like a tourist attraction for lovers, only every couple who sat on it is doomed. You should've played with your sparklers at the dock, ZYZ, WX!)

Oh wait hold up? Meng Xuan is someone WZY knew? He pretended to be him? Oh for fuck's sake! But the woman the princess poisoned *was* WZY's wife, right? And WX's dad and WZY knew each other??? This is so confusing ffs

ZYZ, you just promised ZYC that you won't seek death, and then not only do you risk your life for him almost immediately after, now you're back on your self-sacrificial bs??? I swear, ZYC's patience for this demon. And his love, too. "Keep your inner core. I won't exchange it for anything, not even the Cloud Light Sword." Ahhh my heart.

Did he really pull a demonic equivalent of "my body, my choice"??? ::dies:: and then he goes, you don't want to make that choice, I'll make it for you. I immediately flashed back to Ying Long making the decision for Bingyi, oh no 😭

Awwww goddamnit everyone (not you WX, you're on the right side here), stop making ZYC sad! He cares for all of you, stop forcing him to make impossible choices! (You can tell I'm really invested when I start talking directly to the characters lol) In a way I understand why Ying Lei and PSJ would choose Xiao Jiu over ZYZ. YL's grandpa's death is no doubt still fresh on his mind, and even though in a way he seems to be going against his grandpa's final act of love, it's also a sort of "life for life" reasoning. For PSJ, even if her views of demons shifted since we first met her, Xiao Jiu is first and foremost a kid who reminds her of her brother. So I understand where they might be coming from, and I still don't like that ZYC has to deal with his found family fracturing before his very eyes.

Goddamnit, Ying Lei's projecting his own wish for being special and chosen. Makes sense, our underappreciated comic relief might not be expressing it much but we've been shown his constant vying for attention and validation (especially from ZYC and XJ) often enough. Headpats my dear boy, you *are* special. You are also, however, using emotional blackmail to sway ZYC, and I don't like that.

Ah, PSJ, back to annoying tf out of me. "Not 'we.' Just you and Zhuo Yichen" is it now? Damn it, this show just keeps finding ways to make my heart hurt. Don't break up the family!!! Not like this! You tell them, ZYC! (ZYZ's face when ZYC in essence said, over my dead body!)

Okay, before I go any further, I *know* from the MV and the trailer that whatever the fuck just happened can't be real. But they better have a *very* good explanation because my poor heart pretty much stopped for a moment.

I think this is the first time I got seriously annoyed while watching this drama, which, considering we're on ep 28, is a feat in itself.

How tf did he recognize PSJ's arrow? Can he tell it's hers by its trajectory? I guess he's just naturally brilliant at everything killing related?

OMG ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME, DRAMA. We were told earlier that the fish can communicate with Longyu! And they gave us a shot of fish in that pond they were all standing at! They even showed us WX holding up something before the "break-up" started - I just didn't realize it was her "notebook"... So everyone was acting??? But there was no way ZYC could've read her notes, so was he the only one who wasn't??? 😭 You mofos, how dare you put him through stress like that!!!

From the music in the background I know we're supposed to find this reveal funny, the *four* of them definitely do (while laughing at him), and I just keep thinking of what it must've felt like to him. Isn't his biggest fear losing his loved ones? Whether by death or by a difference in thought, which changes love into hate? (Stil not over that little speech on love vs hate XJ's mom gave several eps back!) Even if it was a ruse, for him it was real. In short, ZYC my man, I applaud you for your restraint; I would've blasted the lot with some ice by now.

Oof another reveal. Will the asshole care? I doubt it. ZYZ's hand on WX's shoulder because of course she's gonna blame herself. Aaaand I was right, the asshole doesn't care... can someone just shoot him for me, please.

Wow, ZYZ, you little attention whore. And again they're giving us the "you can't choose your origin, but you can choose your own life," just as they're marching us towards the inevitable end. as Mr. Poe continued to talk, you turn to look at Klaus, “what if Dr. Montgomery don’t like me?” you ask fidgeting with your fingers a little, “i’m sure everything will be fine, Y/N.” he says while grabbing your hand. you two sit there and stare at each other with light smiles on your face’s, until that moment was ruined because a loud cough was heard from Mr. Poe

you and Klaus obviously had feelings for each other, the way he comforted you the whole time you were at count Olaf's, the way he hugged you, it was obvious more then friendship was there. one night you were asleep on the floor at count Olaf’s, and you had a terrible nightmare.

What happened?” a voice said as their arms wrapped around you. you couldn't make out who it was until you looked up. it was Klaus. you tried to speak but all you could get out was sobs. “shh its okay.” he said wrapping his arms around you tighter. as your sobs continued you felt a pair of soft lips on your forehead. after you kept your head buried in his chest till you calmed down a bit.

So to be totally real, I don't think Vash would be phased all that much by a tsundere, considering his outlook. Like it might get a bit tiring on his mind if you're being especially prickly, but it's nothing he hasn't either seen before. Hell, it's milder than most cases!

All that to say, the Big Hurdle that comes from being interested in a lovely tsundere such as yourself is that he is. Deathly afraid of accidentally coming on too strong and making you uncomfortable. Like it's hard for him to tell where exactly your abrasiveness is coming from. Is it a coping mechanism? Is it something he did? Is this just how you are? If it's something he did, he wishes you would just tell him so he could apologize and make it up to you, but unless your behavior really wears down to a sore spot, he doesn't push you to talk about it.

Little does he know that all the times you call him a dumbass or get on his case for something or other, it's just your way of saying and showing you care without tipping anyone off (although if we're being real, I think Meryl would clock it pretty fast if she's around--) And it's hard sometimes because he has such a sweet face! And you kinda feel bad whenever his smile stops reaching his eyes as much and he excuses himself all quiet and shy. But also his pacifist attitude puts him in danger a lot of the time, and he seems to take undeserved punishment so easily, as if he really thinks he had it coming, and you want him to stand up for himself more!

I'm imagining that the relationship starts like. Right after one of those moments that sends him a few feet away from you out of respect. Like he starts to shift away in the sand, murmuring an apology and a "I'll get out of your hair" only for your feelings to just flow over until you're hauling him into a kiss and while he does kiss you back, when you both pull away he is. so confused. ("I thought you hated me!" "What?" "You called me all these names until now! I thought I did something wrong." "You didn't do anything wrong???" "Then why were you all mean to me?" "Well-- I mean-- Don't worry about that! I'm sorry!")

Once the relationship gets started though, Vash is super relieved and also pumped. He's got a girlfriend!! Yay!! And she's really cool and now he knows that the banter is a love language!! He gets a bit better at banter now that he knows that, leading to some really silly conversations and interactions over the coming relationship.

He also knows now that your attitude isn't meant to keep him away but is more part of a chase, kinda like how dogs will swat at each other or nip and then run off, hoping their target comes after them for some light-hearted wrastlin'. Thing is though, I don't think that's always how he rolls, so sometimes he'll just throw that out the window and go right for the throat (metaphorically) by being nice. Like he'll talk about how pretty you are and calls you things like "sweet girl," "angel," and the ever-beloved "mayfly," just to feel your face get all warm and hear your tongue get tied up. It's one of the cutest things in the world to him, and it usually ends with him pulling you into a hug and laughing an apology into your neck, which he knows only makes it worse.

This man loves you SO MUCH! Even if your way of showing it is different from how he does it. That's one of the things that makes you special, and he adores you for it.

Man. I won't say I'm disappointed with this book, but I think the series is a whole lot better when the focus is on things being done TO the mc vs random people suffering because x wants their blood

Like, book one was about Murphy going after the mc. Simple clear threat that fits the tone of the books. Sure some other people died but I don't think it hindered anything

i liked book 2 because it was just a genuine supernatural problem. The carnival guys who's name I can't remember rn were just having a simple conflict of interest with wayhaven. I'm not mad at the trappers coming in at the end but I think a simple low stakes ending where they sign the treaty or don't would have been just as fitting

But book 3 was absolutely not ready to actually handle the dark topics it wanted to devle into. The scope of the plot was way to wide and it still managed to feel slow. If it were up to me I would have just had the trappers going after addie with no connection to mc. It would be lower stakes than like. you're so right about the differences between books. it's so much better when it's contained – the story for this was just too big for her to get her hands around. and that's awesome that she was ambitious! the story quality just suffered a lot bc of it. dude i LOVE that it was just One Guy Versus Unit Bravo for a while, because it was just so much more focused and allowed for more romance to bloom – and a huge reason i liked falk so much is that, like you said, it was a conflict of interest. he's not evil – just from another world with another cultural standard for "judgment". in book 3, it's literally a human (or supernatural in this case) rights violation. these are children – being kidnapped and attempted to be sold. this isn't a story that should have any lighthearted plot beats in the slightest – unless they were organic, and none of them felt that way

it's funny (not funny haha, funny weird) you say that about addie, because i was having an in depth discussion with friends about how much better the plot would flow if less people had been kidnapped. even just the idea that there are supernatural youth existing in wayhaven and that it is in fact, not safe for anyone! human or supernatural!

this book is just lacking the emotional impact plot-wise that it should, in my opinion, because she tried to cram so much into one book. that doesn't mean any of the plot points are bad, per se, they just needed to be workshopped, edited down, saved for later books, cut out completely – whatever makes the series flow better! and that's not to say any of these ideas are bad ideas – it's just unrealistic to write literally every possible idea for twc! there's going to be a point where there's too much to call back to and it's going to affect the story if those things aren't mentioned again yk?

Hi! I recently found out that I'm very likely OSDD. My therapist stated that he doesn't think I'm distinct enough for a DID diagnosis, which I guess he's right as I still feel like they're all parts of me (and I'm not used to using "we" to call myself... yet?). I'm also not aware of any amnesia for full switching (twice and those only lasted for like less than an hour and I'm at contralling front again, if you know what I mean lol), so I guess I might be OSDD 1a and 1b.

The thing is, that makes us difficult to tell who is who, unless someone being relatively distinct speaks inside my headspace then I can tell by the tone or the contex (there's a "demon" and a "gaurdian angel"), and my little self doesn't show her preference difference except for that one time of short period of full switch. We don't really have our own names other than the name that this person has been living with. What else can we do to try to find out who are blended in co front/co con?

Also, how do we tell if one is DID but almost always co front/co con, or if that's OSDD 1b? Does OSDD 1b basically means DID/OSDD 1a but always co front/co con?

Figuring out who's who is something that generally gets easier with practice, but some things you can do is finding or writing a list of questions you can look over when you're blurry. These questions would be things like preferences, interests, age, pronouns, appearance, etc, whatever might be helpful for you. It's okay to not know the answers to the questions, but even just going with what seems sort of right can be helpful. You could also try looking through your system list to see who fits you best. And maybe if this isn't working because you aren't distinct enough, if you want to try to become more distinct, you could try things like finding names and separate interests. But as a side note, it's okay not to know who you are, you don't always have to know, and learning to be okay with sitting in the blurriness can be helpful.

OSDD-1b is DID but without amnesia. DID with rare complete switching is called partial-DID.

We used to think our host was permanently frontstuck and we could only co-front with him, until we found out we're monoconscious. That means we share a consciousness, so when we switch, we feel ourselves become the new fronter, rather than it feeling like someone is taking control of your body and the last fronter going into the innerworld or going unconscious. Although if you are able to do possession, as in you feel like another headmate is taking some or full control of the body from you, then you wouldn't be monoconscious, and you would always just be co-front in your case, and may have amnesia but you may only be able to tell after a full switch (which it sounds like you've experienced).

It does sound like you have OSDD-1a because your headmates aren't that distinct and they feel like parts of you, and you have some amnesia. Remember you aren't always aware of amnesia, and even if you do only have a small amount, it could still be enough to qualify for an OSDD-1a diagnosis.

After lowkey analysing this pattern for almost the entire book, I can say with a moderate degree of confidence that the skulls give an indication of the original house of people - or more rarely things, customs - who are going to be important in this chapter. Third skull for Ianthe; Fifth for Abigail; Sixth for Camilla/Palamedes, etc.

The original Lyctors - we have Second for Ortus Gideon the First, we have Fifth for Augustine, and Eighth for Mercymorn.

Ergo, I'm looking forward to some Mercymorn action in this chapter. I live in hope.

All I'm hearing here is that Gideon could have lived, and Harrow could have still been Lyctor. They could have had their two separate, alive, bodies still. If God can do it, why not Harrow?

Work is really quite trivial when someone with his degree of prestige offers to cover about any expense you wish, with minimal exceptions. He's mentioned in the past that housing falls right within his capabilities. It's truly a wonderful offer.

Family are clearly important to most, but don't they become too overbearing over time? You're not a child anymore. You don't need to be checked up on every interval they please. Besides, some get-togethers would really go better over the phone rather than going through all that trouble, wouldn't they? And at that, while it is a sad reality, certain relatives really only care about the status you have as their, well—relative. They don't even know you anymore, do they? You aren't the little one you used to be or the one they want you to be, and if they cannot accept that, then perhaps some distance is necessary.

So there really should be no excuse unless you don't want to spend time with him.

And you think that's the case, he cannot—he will not allow you to continue to socialize with whoever keeps poisoning your mind.
