this is such a good one!! there's so many but i'll go with camilla or palamedes; they're there for so much of the story & i'd LOVE to get their perspective on things

i'm so invested in all the OG lyctor's stories, i've said this to you before but my kingdom for a prequel!! anastasia figuring out true lyctorhood and dying for it, cassiopeia giving the sixth house instructions to desert hundreds of years in advance, cyth - just all of cyth!! - g1deon falling for wake when he's known to not fall for anyone else & thinking he's going mad with the gaps in his memory, augustine and mercymorn's WHOLE thing, there's just SO much there! my answer as i started typing this was going to be pyrrha, but i now realise she's. not actually a lyctor hahaha, so i'm going to go with cassiopeia! i need to dissect her brain

well! i've toyed with the idea of a p&p era missing scene, but i've also wondered if we should see lily meet the potters (we saw james meet her mum and petunia!), or more friendly moments from their time in california working on remus's movie (drunk remus karaoke redux?). tbh though whenever i think of this series i think more about new content later in the timeline rather than a missing moment from what's already in there!

wow ok I think it has to be either pretty white smile or I sink the boat of love (but that comes later). I know that's two options but I really enjoyed the process for both of them! I think pws is my best writing but I think I sink the boat is a really fun insight into wartime Jily :)

ok so I answered this once with timshel, but other than that, I do absolutely have to shout-out easy to love by The Jezabels, which is such a massive tune and was also instrumental in writing ch9 of theogony, my most emotionally intense chapter yet.

12. what are your favourite genres?

fantasy and murder mysteries! they've always been my favourites and i don't see that changing any time soon haha

16. how do you bookmark books?

i have a collection of bookmarks that always seem to disappear when i need them, so i end up using whatever's closest - old receipts, scraps of paper, my phone, whatever. i like bookmarks as a concept but i can never figure out where to put them while reading on the train, so i end up tucking them into the side of my hijab which is a sight to see i'm sure

28. do you always finish a book, even if it is dull?

i used to finish an entire series even if i didn't like it from the start when i was younger (the same part of me that has to know that has me clicking on spoiler tags hahaha). the mortal instruments broke me - i forced myself to read through all 6 (?) even though i hated every bit of it, and at the end i decided i couldn't do this anymore. now i dnf all the time & just look up the rest of the plot on wikipedia to sate my curiosity haha
