The lamb sighed low as he watched the corpal spirit of Leshy holding onto Kallamar tightly, well cuddling him & refusing to let go. And also this wasn't even their own in universe Kallamar. Leshy had taken him from another universe. It was no secret that they both liked to see what other universes were like to their own & this other universe Kallamar was currently going through a lot.. Which is exactly why the lamb's Leshy is refusing to let him go. The lamb should be happy. At least this was the peaceful outcome. At first, his Leshy was dead set on killing this Kallamar's family for their insolence as his ghostly Leshy had put it. This was less hostile, but also was kind of a freak out for this poor Kallamar as well. Another Leshy, a spirit Leshy that was freaking HUGE cuddling him & refusing to let him go? Yeah, anyone would think they've gone insane. Hell, the lamb thought he had for a good 3 days before realizing he did indeed have Leshy spirit bonded with him. This wasn't about him though.

“Lesh? Leshy?”

The lamb questioned & the massive leafy bagworm just huffed, bringing the other Kallamar closer in with his tail. The spirit giving a gentle lick to the other Kallamar on his back, as if he was grooming a pup. The lamb faceplamed. “You have to let him go at some point, Lesh. Were on a mission to make you whole again remember? I can't find the rest of your body parts without your help & this… Kallamar needs to get back to his own universe, ya know?”

The lamb tried & failed. The leafy ghost grumbled.

“Mine now.”

Leshy growled.

“He's not. He belongs with his others sib-”

“FUCK THEM! If they really want him back they can go through my cold dead spirit!”

Leshy growled & readjusted himself to now hide the other squid with his leafy bush of a tail.

The lamb just shrugged at this point.

“Okay, okay. You win. Keep him here all you want. I ain't looking to get possessed & thrown off a cliff… again.”

The lamb left them, looking at the mirror & searching for which universe to look at next.

A short time later the medbay doors opened and Kirk walked in, flanked by Spock and Scotty. Spock wore his normal, neutral face, but Scotty looked shaken and Kirk had the look he had when preparing for a dangerous mission.

“What’d you find?” McCoy asked.

Scotty shook his head, but didn’t answer.

“I’d rather talk to him first,” Kirk said, a strange light coming into his eyes. “Can we wake him?”

McCoy turned the neuro scanner off and handed it to Christine. Gently he shook the man’s shoulder. The man mumbled again and his eyes began to flutter.

“Doctor,” Kirk called.

McCoy looked up, but Kirk motioned to the man on the bed. McCoy glanced at Scotty and Spock again. Scotty’s face was still pale and Spock still gave nothing away. McCoy looked back at his patient to find blue eyes staring at him.

“Welcome to the Enterprise,” Kirk said. “I’m Captain James Kir—”

“Jim!” the man cried out, and struggled to sit up.

“Whoa there,” McCoy said, grabbing the man’s shoulder. “Take it easy. You had a head injury; I’ve just finished healing it.”

“Who are you?”

“Dr. McCoy, CMO of the Enterprise,” McCoy answered.

The man on the bed gave him a wide eyed stare. Slowly his gaze went back to Kirk.

“You’re Jim,” he said slowly, “but not quite…”

For a third time the prickly feeling stood out on McCoy’s neck.

“Spock, you never change,” the man continued.

“Fascinating,” the Vulcan said.

“Christine?” the man asked, now looking at the nurse.

Christine slowly nodded, unsure what was going on.

“Beautiful as ever sweetheart,” the man smiled. He looked over at Scotty, and frowned.

“I don’t know you.”

“Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott, sir,” Scotty managed to get out.

The man’s eyes went wide again. “You’re not…” the rest of his words faded away.

“Now maybe you could tell us who you are,” McCoy said. “You seem to know all of us.”

“Bones,” Kirk said.

McCoy frowned at the look the captain gave him. The man on the bed chuckled and that turned everyone’s eyes back to him.

“I’m you,” the man said to McCoy. “I’m Dr. Leonard H. McCoy, former CMO of the Enterprise.”

McCoy took a step backwards in surprise. The shaken look on Scotty’s face… they must have discovered who the man was on his ship…

“Now wait a damn minute,” McCoy said, his face turning angry. “What kind of stunt is this?” He turned his glare on Kirk.

Kirk put his hands up trying to disarm McCoy’s anger.

“No stunt Bones.”

“I assure you Doctor,” Spock began, “his ship has the same technology we experienced in Ambassador Selek’s ship.”

McCoy stared at Spock. He knew that Selek was the name chosen by the older Spock who had joined them during the Narada incident. The Spock from a different timeline and universe.

“No,” he managed. “Scotty?”

“Aye Doc. I’ve seen the plans from the Ambassador’s ship. The engines are a match.”

The man on the bed was staring intensely at Scotty. Scotty shifted on his feet nervously.

imogen fumbling shit is just eternally good fodder for memes, alright. and its at least partly BECAUSE of how powerful she is. someone tripping while using a nerf gun? funny. someone dramatically hoisting up an outfit matchin heavy death laser gun and then immediately tripping and landing on their face? phenom. sometimes she goes "GROVEL" and the enemies grovel and we all go "oooooh" and "aaaahhh" and sometimes she just gets fully ignored and gets so huffy and petulant and ineffectually burns a cantrip just to be petty about it. sometimes she smites her enemies into dust with one move and renders a tree in half after threatening and other times she fucking. falls down a flight of stairs and accidentally sets everything on fire. fires a gun at her own team. loses all her hair. turns blue. etc.

Imogen lifts a humongous sand squid into the sky with her mind powers. Imogen is also falling out of a sky ship and landing on the desert sand far below and just. lying there. while her friend plays the flute in the background. epic hot failgirls NEED the HEIGHT to FAIL FROM. u gotta swing and miss sometimes!!! AND you gotta be REAL petty about it when u miss!!!! fucking fantastic.

one of the most complex and delicious choices they made with misty is that she genuinely understands what kind of attention is valuable. they crafted this character who is so desperate for love, so hungry for attention and companionship and recognition, a woman who would doom her entire team to a life in the wilds just to hear one more nice thing said about her, and then they put her in a position to grab at fame. when the team is rescued, misty would have been barraged with offers to tell her story. media appearances, interviews, book deals. people would be able to recognize her on the streets, she would have been (at the very least) a local celebrity for the rest of her life. she smiles when she sees the flash of the cameras getting off the plane; she wants to be seen, and the offer is right there in her lap.

instead, she stays silent. she stays out of the limelight, she says as little as possible, just like they all made a pact to do. can you imagine just how difficult it was for her to say no? for her to see that people would be falling over themselves just to talk to her, that she could have used what happened to make connections, make friends, be famous and lauded, sympathized with, talked to, complimented. she could have told the world how SHE was the one who saved them, who got them through the worst moments of their lives when the plane crashed.

and the price for all of that is to admit to some cannibalism? she has no shame about what happened. she eats jerky and wears heart necklaces and remembers the wilderness with open fondness. besides, she knows how to sell herself, how to spin what happened. when she pretends with jessica, she paints the perfect portrait of a victim, the perfectly sympathetic survivor wracked with guilt for what she had to do.

all of that is right there within her grasp. so why doesn't she go public? she displays absolutely zero guilt over breaking the black box, or anything else she did in the wilderness. literally the only reason she never breaks the silence is to protect her team. her friends. to honor whatever pact they made. a pact she makes in '98, when they're still together. when she thinks their lives are all so deeply entangled and their bond is so permanent and unshakeable that it would be easy to choose this family over public attention. it makes sense that she keeps quiet in the beginning.

but the team breaks up, and as far as misty knows they all go their separate ways. still, misty stays quiet. years pass and no one calls her, no one visits. so she goes on unsuccessful dates and works a job where her co-workers seem to barely tolerate her. she gives socks to gross men who still don't call and lives alone and gets a parrot who never talks to her.

she spends her adult life living with her loneliness because the people she loves asked her to, and then forgot she existed.

25 years of this deep sense of loneliness and she never wavers. never tries to tell her story or make a grab for the fame she knows she could still get when she looks at "25th anniversary" splashed over the tabloids. in a world that has grown up around her to create social media and influencers and viral posts. every single day it would have gotten easier for misty to reach out and take even a small slice of the attention she so badly wanted her whole life.

instead, she quietly follows her actual friends. she tracks weddings she's not invited to and the birth of children she'll never meet. she registers to vote for a woman who might not even know she's still alive, and decides that it's enough. that 25-year-old memories of true connection are better than acknowledgement from a million strangers. she collects all of these little details and files them neatly, an umbilical cord of connection that she is the only one supporting. like this information will be important again, relevant again. she sustains herself for twenty-five years off of the mere possibility that maybe, somehow, someday, she will be part of her team again.

and then, like finding the flashing red light of a black box while she's all alone, the universe rewards her.

It’s a Nalu story where Natsu keeps travelling to different universes ; the first universe is where him and Lucy are dating but Ingeel dead ; the 2nd universe is that Ingeel alive but Lucy dead and Natsu has to choose which universe he has to live in and I remember at the end Lucy and Ingeel push him into different universe (Lucy wants Natsu to be with Ingeel even if she’s no longer alive , while Ingeel wants Natsu to be with Lucy Even if he’s gone from this world .)

And at the end Natsu woke up in his own universe.
