tried all the options steam gives me on the error page. didnt help.

tried deleting achievement-progress.json. didnt help.

tried deleting everything in the folder except steamapps and steam.exe to force a clean re-download. didnt help.

Update on Intro

Just wanted to give good news that I only have two pages to work on and then I can finally bring back @ask-the-abomination <3! I am really excited to bring these bois back, esp since a handful of the story was rebooted ( Some kept, some changed. I did felt like I rushed a bit for the beginning and a couple of things felt a lil off. Which admittedly, overtime, made me feel pushed away from the blog because of the pacing and that a few ideas didnt felt like it clash too well ;w; )!

I am doing my darnest to work on these <3! Admittedly I am having issues with my stylus. Well... I think the fault is the stylus? Since I try all else with Clip Studio PRO ( Even uninstall and reinstall the program ) and it doesnt seem like an issue, after doing tests on a different art program qwp. Basically lines are jittery when zoomed out, I have zero pen pressure, and I can no longer adjust lines on Vector layer because there is suddenly a billion things to select to move >>". I did had to grit my teeth and spend $15 to order a new stylus yesterday ( This was the final option. I didnt want to do the money route for this. A couple of friends in VC did heard my disappointment and unpleasantry towards this action >>" ). Just have to wait on that now ;;"... Jittering I can deal with, since all I have to do is zoom in to draw the lines normally ( I have grown use to zoom in drawing because of 8 years of Paint Tool SAI ). But pen pressure is a big deal, as I need it for sketching and lighting. Without it, things just come off as unappealing ;;"... I also need my vector adjustments too, as it helps me fix my lines ( Without it, I will have to draw slower and, as it is happening now, have to keep lining until it looks less bumpy ;; ). Having too much to select because my stylus(?) is acting up is really not good. As a friend pointed out: "Gee this year is really not being good towards you with technology problems" xd. First computer problems a few months back, now possibly my stylus with art ;-;.

But to change to something nicer, the emotes above was done on SAI back in February ( Months prior, before I made the move to Clip Studio PRO ) ;w;. So the line and coloring a lil different >w<. It is fine as both styles are something I am proud of <3!

yo so i have tampermonkey installed and tried to download the unfucker-- it didnt work, so i realized i needed to uninstall new xkit so i did. i tried to reinstall unfucker and it still just refuses to do it? even when i fully reload the page. im not like. the biggest computer guy lol and im sure you've gotten like a thousand questions about this but. if you have any help that wld be lovely

My first suggestion would be to double-check that it shows up and is enabled:

I occasionally have problems with the auto-install links (it only fetches new content every so often) so you can try copy-pasting the code into the edit script page

If neither of those work, check the console log (F12) and see if there are any warnings from either "eval" or "dashboard-unfucker.user.js".

i downloaded gshade a little before the malware issue so i uninstalled it again but it seems that so many ppl still use it for the sims 😭 i want to use it so bad because its crisper (?) than reshade but im not abt to get malware on my pc but WDYT HEHEH

i've always used reshade for ts4. gshade (i think, i might be very very wrong) was actually made by someone to specifically use for final fantasy 14, and it blew up from there. so i actually didn't know you could use gshade with other games!

in ffxiv i started off with reshade but then got some friends to help me instal gshade when i swapped to a new pc. shortly after the malware thing happened (a huge dick move if i do say so btw, wtf is wrong with people).

i am so so not computer savy, i didnt even know what malware was. i was just gonna continue using it but my friend said i definitely shouldn't, so helped me remove it from my pc and reinstall reshade. which is a good thing tbh cause now i can use all my sims reshades to take ffxiv pics too lmao!!

but yeah. be safe, remove gshade and go back to reshade. it's not worth the risk. and there's so many tools on photoshop to help you make your images sharper and clearer!

Hey can anyone in the sims community help me out? Origin finally forced me to get the EA app and when it downloaded, it just didnt work. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app and Ive restarted my computer and it just doesnt work. Doesnt open. Doesnt run. I literally used Origin just for sims and Im so upset idk what to do. :(

its not even that good of a rig and it marketed itself as high storage and didnt even have 500 gigs

and every time windows forces me to update it adds more shit to its OS that I cant delete (including AI shit I DO NOT WANT) making my storage smaller, and smaller

I have six games installed. I want to install a seventh. I cant.

So unless I want to be constantly uninstalling and reinstalling shit, (WHICH I DONT) i just have to deal with this i guess

ages ago i had this sp*tify app on my phone that i found somewhere and it was supposed to basically make it without ads without paying for premium (i didnt have premium). and it worked on desktop too (which i didnt know it would), didnt have any ads for years, despite not paying for premium. but then wrapped 2022 came around and my app was out of date and it couldnt show me my wrapped so i uninstalled the app and reinstalled a normal one. then i fucking. lost?? the app?? ive been trying to find it for months, on my phone, on my computer, on the internet. and i cant find it. i found Something like it a while ago but it just like. didnt work. and i cant remember where i found it, think maybe it was through a post on here but then the link to the website was like very official-looking. and i cant find it. plz help. if u know what im talking about. if not plz dont snitch thx

sorry i know this is a shot in the dark but since youve been posting about halo do you know any reason why the mcc would refuse to launch games? halo 4 reach and a few others dont let me play and kick me back to the main menu when the load screen would normally start in both campaign and multiplayer and i cant find anything to help

hm. i would say try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, or at least just the affected parts, or verifying your files on steam. you can do that by right clicking mcc on steam, click on properties, go to local files, then click "verify integrity of game files". if that doesnt work consider sending a support ticket to https://support.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us or maybe going to the steam forums or the halo subreddit maybe? ive never experienced this myself but thats all i can think of. additionally you could try launching in anti-cheat disabled mode to see if the problem is being replicated there, if for nothing else than just to provide more information for the support ticket. i hope you get it sorted sorry i didnt have a definitive answer

I don’t have those in my mode folder. I had to uninstall my game due to memory space and trying to reinstall it is a pain as for some reason th game didn’t fully uninstall which is weird

weirdly enough i had that issue a long LONG time ago where the game didnt fully uninstall and this was when i installed via the discs! my dad is a tech person so i asked for help and i remember him doing this super long, round about way to remove it entirely where he had to mess with the registry even to make sure the game was gone completely!

bc i had corrupted my game before i knew better, “uninstalled” the game, went to reinstall it and the computer wouldnt let me bc it wasnt fully uninstalled! it was so bizarre and frustrating. it took my dad a whole freaking day to fix it!!!

i thought for sure by now that issue would have been fixed - that was ten, TEN (10) years ago for crying out loud!

I'm so burnt out at my job, and honestly theres nothing going on that's really helping with that only problems exacerbating it.

This morning I was late to work because there was a 5k that apparently ran right past my building so all the surrounding blocks were closed to traffic and i had to pay for parking at a parking ramp further away.

Then I finally get to work and one of my programs necessary for logging myself in was uninstalled from my computer. I tried to reinstall but that's not allowed because apparently I was switched over to the new time clock program that I have zero training on.

I reached out to one of the two supervisors here for sundays and he was like, "just reinstall the old one" and I told him it wouldn't let me, and that I didnt have training for the new system. And he just stopped responding to me.

So I found the self study for the new system and got everything set up, clocked in 40 minutes late because of this, 5 minutes late from having to park farther away from my building, and the remaining 35 from trying to just get a time clock program on my computer.

And then I have a caller ask to speak to a supervisor and be very insistent that they cannot wait for the 24hr call back time our supervisors have, so I reach out to the on duty sup and they're like, "uh, try the other one first" like... dude. I know your shift is up in an hour but seriously?

I'm just! So tired! Of doing my job! Without thanks! And without support! From the people! Who! Are! Supposed! To! Support! Me!
