It’s been a busy last week to term 2 of 3rd year, with deadlines and events, amongst all of that, spending time with friends. We went out for dinner and drinks with our new housemates for next year and had a good laugh trying to find the bowling alley but apparently it had shutdown a while back so we found ourselves at spoons. We then had a final music society night for this term, we had a small open mic night which was nice as we had 2 artists who had been visiting from the Netherlands who came a played, which was lovely. Reece and I ran the tech for the sports awards which was fun, we also had a laugh when dj-ing, which was a good laugh. I then made some chocolate biscuit pudding for our final lecture on Friday and then cut it up and put it on cupcake cases. amongst all of this I moved some kit around for different events and the final thing I did this week was we celebrated Reece and @_emma_katie ’s Birthdays 🎂 which was was lovely to round off the week. It’s been lovely to spend time with everyone and great fun running events and everything. Its been one of those busy but fun weeks where there is lots going on, especially with battle of the bands round 1, the final SMFA Ensembles Showcase in history 😢 and live music night @cargo_bar_medway , it was lovely to have @wearelittletalks , @indigoguild and @benezine , thank you very much for coming and playing, hope to see you all again at some point and very well done to everyone who entered battle of the bands and played. It’s been a whirlwind of a week with all sorts of projects and assignments. This week has been pretty busy, we have had a blast with GK Music Society and GK Unions. The dream team helped me set up and run music society whilst I was editing a video for the hot wings challenge. We ironed a green screen for @gkphotographysociety ‘s photo booth at the hot wings challenge, which was a good laugh-more photos to come from it! We also had our own live music corner at refreshers next to our stall, which livened up the atmosphere and the first highlight of the week was winning £100 for Music Society #societiesspotlight ! This was amazing and then to top it all off, to spend it with some wonderful friends/family at university, it’s been awesome! This is only a few of the wonderful friends here. It’s been another few busy days with ups and downs amongst the new course and work. I passed the batten to @teshgram which was quite something, going to miss running it and meeting new artists every week, all the best to @teshgram with running it, it’s going to be great! 😊 I also had a bit more time this week and for future weeks due to another unforeseen arrangement which was a shame, but got to spend some with @keagan_sv650sf and @jordanfuller2000 which was nice and there was a rare sighting of me playing pool for the first time in @thedeepend_medway before we got ready for another successful @music_soc_med night in @unionsgk ‘s Student Hub - @thedeepend_medway which was nice! It’s been another busy old week with another few fun moments in the week amongst academics work and lectures, found a beautiful view over the commissioner’s garden from Kent Business School which was nice, I went out to lunch and caught up with the lovely @littley1974 which was so nice 😊, I do miss have the old musical bunch around 😢. @music_soc_med ran a successful Rock Night which engaged all of the @unikentcmat first years which was awesome! 😊 I then got to spend the afternoon with a new friend from my masters course along with some good old friends 😊, which I really enjoyed as it has been so busy it’s lectures and work 😊. We had fun setting up for Oktoberfest @thedeepend_medway which got us running “Air Deep End” which was hilarious 😂🤣🤣. Then to end the week spend an evening with @truzzimusic and @joe_rees_123 . Couldn’t have asked for a better evening 😊💜, wish I had more time to spend with more of my friends, but I know that academic commitments are more than last year. It’s been one hell of a week, the absolute highlight is the successful outcome of my negotiation with Bose; who upon request for music/arts support, donated a few pairs of headphones for use by @unikentcmat , also hopefully the beginning of an ongoing future collaboration, Thank you very much Bose😊. We also had our final @unikentmfa concert which was emotional, but lovely to share the stage at the Royal Dockyard Church one last time with my friends and the CMAT Students, going to miss these concerts a lot😢💜.
