Another day, another dinosaur. This time, it's the small but fast Velocisaurus unicus 💨

There aren't many specimens of this dinosaur and I haven't drawn an abelisauroid, let alone a noasaurid ever, so I went for the cartoony style to hide any anatomy mistakes xD

Me and my friends created our own nagical girl OC's. I worked so hard on these designs, so they would feel unicue yet similar.

codex unicus is an insane concept. it means this text survived in a single copy, a single manuscript. any other copies went lost, were destroyed, were scraped clean, burned, rotted, or, in the most fabled and most comforting option, are still hidden somewhere in a cellar, in an archive, in a private collection never accessed before. do you want to check if a word really is an error? you can't. you want to confront a sentence with the one in another copy? you can't. you want to find out what the illegible ††† part means? you can't. it's lost. unknown. because the manuscript only exists in single copy, and we are so lucky we even have that.

DAY 9

The character randomly chosen today is Riamu Yumemi! Riamu is a very eccentric character who is very knowledgeable about idol otaku culture and is a huge partaker in it herself. She is very unlucky and mentally fragile, ultimately accepting producer's invitation to become an idol in order to try to make something out of the mess of her life.

FUN FACT: the trained version of riamu's 2nd ssr, her blanc fes, features riamu flipping the camera off. because this was considered too advertiser-unfriendly to use on promotional material and the like, she recieved her 3rd in a super quick turnaround (relative to the usual starlight stage gacha schedule at the time) so that they could use that instead

i did not expect to get such a popular character while still in the single digits. i had a lot of fun drawing riamu. i love how both official and fanwork just depicts her in the wildest scenarios, and although she's not as 'going through it' in my doodle today i just gave her some suspiciously unicus shaped gyoza. it was a bit hard to sum her character up in the usual couple of sentences, especially considering she has one of the most comprehensive imaswiki pages currently but i did my best lol.

Her cheeks heat up a little - but she pays it no mind.

She wants to crane her head back to look him in the eyes - but she's basically in his lap on the sofa, back to his chest, the steady weight of his arms around her middle... so she doesn't really have much room to do that.

Ah, fuck, the Netflicks has fallen asleep on them again. She's getting invested in this movie... but she's not going to be outdone, she can also wax poetical.
