You can just find someone annoying or not like them instead of insisting they’re a pedophile or a rapist based on zero evidence and or interpersonal issues they had with someone else. You can think someone is a mean asshole without doing those other things too. that’s something you can do. It’s really easy actually I do it every day. Not to evoke majority rule but most people who are not insanely online do this every day.

in some ways things change significantly over time- my self of even a year ago was in a significantly different place than I am now, to the extent that while I intellectually remember different mindsets I was in and experiences I had it can take effort to fully remember them properly with all of that in mind, and I think personal transformation and change over time is significant and interesting and can make someone almost unrecognisable. on the other hand I went out of my way to find red juice as a small child so I could pretend it was blood and I was a vampire

I think expecting grandeur is going to be my undoing.
