Dzisiaj, w niedzielę 25.08.2019 doszło do wyjątkowego wydarzenia Magnus Zaremba spotkał swojego kuzyna - łódź podwodną. Ogromne zaskoczenie! A to wszystko podczas żeglugi w labiryncie między skałami i skałkami w wodach wewnętrznych Norwegii. Bardzo wysokie i stałe ciśnienie 1023 hPa, dało nam słoneczną i bezchmurną pogodę. Temperatura powietrza osiągnęła 21°C, temperatura wody prawie 18°C a temperatura powietrza w jachcie 25°C. Dla nas, wracających z Arktyki to upał, więc zawitały krótkie spodenki, koszulki z krótkim rękawem i kapelusze. Dalej podziwiamy domki i spokojne życie w Królestwie Norwegii. Często mijamy różne łódki a te, które nie przemieszczają się to ktoś z nich łowi ryby, pozdrawiamy się wzajemnie! http://eur-share.inreach.garmin.com/magnuszaremba https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/shipid:316513/zoom:14 https://www.vesselfinder.com/?mmsi=261025570 https://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shipposition.phtml?call=SPG3930 #Arktyka #Arktyka2019 #Skandynawia #KrólestwoNorwegii #Norwegia #Hordaland #MorzeNorweskie #MorzePółnocne #MorzePolnocne #fiord #fiordy #łódźpodwodna #lodzpodwodna #okrętpodwodny #okretpodwodny #Arctic #Arctic2019 #Scandinavia #Skandinavia #Norway #Norge #NorwegianSea #Norskehavet #NorthSea #Nordsjøen #fjord #fjords #submarine #undervannsbåt #undervassbåt #U-Boot #submarino #sous-marino #Подводная лодка #sottomarino (w: Hordaland) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1mSC4OIzi1/?igshid=1f33k3hal6a26

September Vocab Challenge: Day Eleven
Still trucking on through. Still coming across words that I’m struggling to get into my head, but then I keep surprising myself when I come back to them and realise they’ve magically sunk in when before I couldn’t even hazard a guess as to what they were. So that’s nice.
Today’s words have a politics and war vibe:
å erklære - to declare, to proclaim
kampanje (en) - campaign
uttalelse (en) - statement
toppmøte (et) - summit
kunngjøring (en) - announcement
å svekke - to weaken, to impair
å overbevise (om) - to convince, to persuade (of
å innrømme - to acknowledge, to admit
å fratre - to resign, to retire
å sverte - to slander
å føre (til) - to lead (to), to result (in)
tilbaketog (et) - withdrawal, retreat
å forbløffe - to astound, to dumbfound
med risiko for - at risk of
å sette i gang - to trigger, to set off, to activate
smisket - obsequious
opptrapping (en) - escalation
sammenstøt (et) - clash, argument; collision
forstyrrelse (en) - disturbance, interruption
svik (et) (mot) - betrayal (of)
utsending (en) - envoy
innvirkning (en/ei) (på) - impact, influence (on)
umiddelbar - immediate, direct; impulsive
opprører (en) - rebel, insurgent
sjøkrigsskole (en) - naval academy
undervannsbåt (et) - submarine
kampklar - battle-ready
å bevæpne - to arm
å herske - to rule, to reign
gissel (en) - hostage
As always, corrections welcome.
I revised some vocab from last week too and really surprised myself to find I remembered nearly all of it - I think there were only three words I couldn’t recall at all and another two I didn’t get quite right. I’m definitely doing better with this than I expected to. But I need to keep going over it so it all stays in my head once the month is over.
