Introducing this idea here cause im starting to be more active on Tumblr 🔥 My own version of the Storyshift AU!

I really really enjoyed the concept, but never found much past “so these are the roles that’ll swap! and….oh, what happens in the actual story? uhhhhh-“

I just haven’t seen much past that- SO IMNA TRY CAUSE IM IN A COMIC/ART MAKING FRENZY‼️ ive thought about it a lot but I still have to do… a lot… so im just ploppin the up-to-date concept art ive made, here now

It is very Sans and Papyrus focused but I intend to give a spotlight to everyone, as well as pulling some strings to make this concept actually work-

Demons & Angels - An Undertale AU Fic

OUTERFROSTSHIFT (Boy, that's a mouthful..)

Alt name: Frozen Stars

Combines elements of Outertale, Storyshift (or my version of it anyway) and some.. other things

You had always dreamed of being a shooting star.

Looking out every night through the window, ignoring the sound of your cousins arguing over useless things like bills or rent in the next room over, you would gaze at the night sky and wonder what it would be like to walk among them.

You had a good singing voice - everybody knew that to be a fact. Especially after you had forced every single one of your family members to watch you sing an impromptu rendition of "Let It Go" in the cramped living room of your tiny apartment.

As such, it was only natural that you'd want to put it to good use. You dreamt of shining brighter than even the galaxy itself - of surpassing earth and space and even time itself and ascending all the way to Heaven, where you would become the brightest star - The Morning Star.

It was a fever dream, of course. A childish one at that. One that would never have an inkling of a chance of coming true, even if you had all the time in the world. One that was still nestled within your heart, even after you had come up with it all those years ago when you were seven years old.

... Gosh, you were pathetic.

You had built your first prop chainsaw in a line of many when you were nine. It was originally supposed to be for a music video for a song you had drafted about in 5 minutes.

The general gist of the story was that after being cheated on by her ex for the eleventh time, (You were too young to have any real grasp on relationships) a furious (and frankly, stupid) girl went out to kill him with a chainsaw as a form of.. petty revenge.

Simple enough, right?

Well, here was the issue: You were very, very dedicated to creating well-made, realistic props, even for the smallest of productions. So, you ended up spending 5 months making the chainsaw as intricate and detailed as humanly possible.

It had eventually morphed into it's own thing, with you painting it neon pink with stars and constellations speckled throughout - symbols of your one true dream.

Once you had finally finished it, and promptly began to actually finish the music video (which took 10 minutes max), you had grown far too attached to the damn thing to let it collect dust in a drawer.

So, you took it with you everywhere you went. It became a comfort object, of sorts. You slept with it, ate it, went to school with it..

(Your family didn't approve, but you always managed to sneak it with you in one way or another. You always had your ways.)

But as all things do eventually, it broke. After you had left it on your bed while you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, your sleepy self had forgot where you put it and sat on it, rendering it broken in an instant.

You cried and mourned for its loss. You even hosted a funeral for it in the local park. (Your family was very concerned for you.)

From that day on, you worked towards making any prop chainsaw you made in the future more durable. Stronger. Sharper. Better.

Your family didn't understand your obsession with it. They saw it as no more than an inanimate object, not an embodiment of your life's goal, your shimmering wish. They didn't understand you at all. They didn't understand your dreams, your aspirations, what you truly wanted out of your life, why you didn't accept the way things were, why you needed something to change. They never did.

That was what led you here, chainsaw in hand and hair-clip fastened between your raven locks, staring down a hole in a mountain.

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS.

One day, war broke out between the two races.

After a long battle, the humans were victorious.

They sealed the monsters on a moon, deep in outer space, with a magic spell.

In order to ensure that they would stay there..

They also cast a spell which would bathe the moon in an eternal winter, forever dooming the monsters to a seemingly endless freeze.

Legends say if you climb MOUNT STARFALL, the mountain where the final battle took place, and jump in its center..

You will be teleported to that very moon.

But none have dared to confirm whether this is true or not.

"um........ hello? are you okay? i wouldn't want to bother you or anything but you seem pretty hurt....."

You awoke to the sight of what seemed to be a small, floating, sentient bedsheet, vaguely in the shape of a ghost. It wore a scarf, pale blue in color with constellations and snowflakes embroidered on it, flapping in the wind. It also wore earmuffs of the same color, tucked tightly against its.. ears?

Your electric pink eyes met it's big, bulbous ones, which seemed to almost... glow despite the harsh blizzard you both found yourselves in.

.. You both screamed.

More Kids in the Orphanage. ^^

More children of the Delta Orphanage. Either found or saved. Scars of their pasts clearly visible.

Shifty: A StoryShift Chara from a geno route where they failed and was gruesomely cut down because they were “In the way”. Coding corroded too much and had to be pieced together by hand. Scars visible and missing arm implications of lost coding and can’t be easily healed or fixed. Has nightmares a lot and usually found in the medical ward.

Swapy: Storyswap Chara saved before the AU they were saved from imploded. Has been so traumatized that they developed anosognosia and has the delusional belief that they will be picked up by their dead parents… Which sadly will never happen. (Not sure if I got the condition correct. If it wrong I apologize will see if we can fix it)

Seller: Storyfell Chara. From an AU that had a bad virus, she out of desperation destroyed it and fell into the trash void. She is friends with Skara, Dhara, Fara, and Dalla. Sees Skara as an annoying little brother.

Fink: Ink!Frisk is much like ink sans. However due to ink sans popularity and more attention he was gonna be forgotten. Unlike ink!sans Fink does not need paint to have emotions. However they have a crippling phobia of being alone. They don’t have their own paint brush but their hand can color and paint things but he prefers showing his art rather than doodles. He was found after wondering the white void for a long time and was brought to the orphanage. Now he can share many of his magical drawings and paintings with everyone.

Buttercup: Flowerfell Frisk variant (not frans au). Due to their AU having a glitch, they constantly died the moment they fell down to the underground. They were saved and brought to the orphanage helping stifle their disease. Their blindness was chronic but they are very sweet to everyone.

Felly: Firefell Frisk. First child saved by CC and brought to the orphanage. Her Toriel was too strict and burned her for any small mistake she made. After finding out the AU was long discarded and the universe was completely empty. After defeating Toriel Felly was happy to stay at the orphanage. But requested to keep her scars. Despite everything, she still saw Toriel as a good mom.
