sorry wait, what -- i--
there are no specific spiritual teachings about the bar to get into heaven or hell. other than "be a basically good person & apologise (confess) & do better when u get it wrong".
what doctrine were you raised in that cast absolute perfection as the bar to get into heaven?? i don't. that's.
...
The "obvious problems" with Heaven/Hell in Christianity that I was referencing was the. uh. the existence of eternal torture in the first place - because even the literal worst person ever does not, and cannot, "deserve" torture - and also the "eternal" bit of the "split humanity into two categories: good and evil". and also the splitting occurring in the first place. the problems with which i hope are obvious.
at no point in ANY of my experiences with christianity was it implied that I personally was in danger of going to hell - I was actually explicitly told not to worry about that because i would have to fuck up SUPER BAD for that to even come on the map of possibilities - & i'm so utterly and completely lost at trying to address whatever THE FUCK type of Christianity you experienced that says sinning at all makes you worthy of Hell?? it's. largely left up to the imagination of the parishioners, in my experience?? like i always thought it was the Super Evil people who were beyond salvaging into even vaguely good people. that's what i thought hell was for. the concepts of "we are all sinful" and "we are all worthy of hell just for existing" are so UTTERLY DIFFERENT that i don't know what to call whatever you were raised in except inherently abusive. And absolutely not indicative of the "core doctrine" of christianity as a whole.
like. how would it even work for the whole church to find comfort and joy in their belief - which is half of how religions endure, by the way; they feel good - if THAT was the belief? The concepts of "we are all sinful" and "eventually, we will all get into heaven" exist comfortably alongside each other in Christian doctrine. That would simply not be the case if what you are describing were as prevalent as you say it is.
#also maybe don't like christsplain people's own trauma back to them whatever your intentions it's super invalidating#and disrespectful#try asking questions and listening next time to the people who are living with religious trauma#see if we have a perspective that you might be missing
I explicitly avoided addressing your trauma, or any other person's religious trauma, in the original post. i am not debating you about the validity of your trauma. I agree fully and wholeheartedly with your original post and am here specifically and only because you kept saying that that messaging was an inherent component of christianity that you couldn't just cut out without turning it into another religion entirely. and THAT is just not true. I am well aware that the doctrine of sin in Christianity makes it very susceptible to the kind of "broken, undeserving, unworthy" messaging you just described, but that toes not mean that that messaging is necessary to the religion. It can absolutely be avoided or, better yet, actively countered, without challenging the core principles of xtianity whatsoever. I'm sorry your religious upbringing was abusive, but it doesn't mean mine was - and the fact that it wasn't doesn't disqualify me from having been raised christian. ffs
Look, we joke a lot, but really, "you were born evil, wretched, worse than the scum of the earth, and it took killing a god to make you salvageable, so now you'd better be grateful to that god and thank him 10,000 times a day for it and fill your thoughts with him 24/7 and abide by the letter of his every word, lest you suffer unimaginable torture for all of eternity" is a truly horrendous thing to believe about yourself and other people
#like actually my mother DOESN'T think i or she or anyone else is the scum of the earth for existing#and i'm offended that you're ascribing that to her purely on the basis of her being a catholic christian. so.#christianity#the evils of organised religion is another post entirely but i'm sure you agree with that#like i just want u to understand that random christians living their lives are not actually full of hatred and toxicity and self-loathing#JUST off the back of being christian#& christianity as a concept is not inherently abusive!! actually!!!#as is exemplified by ppl who were raised christian (me) and yet not abused (also me!!)#marzipan speaks#bad idea to get into discourse. especially religious discourse. on the internet#but i've stumbled into this new philosophy called “all religions are allowed to exist actually”#& i'm still young and immature enough to reply DIRECTLY to someone challenging that instead of making my own damn post#i promise i'm working on it. i promise. but holy shit sometimes shit presses my buttons#also “all religions” does not include “things that call themselves religions but are actually cults”.#mormonism and scientology can fuck off and die etc etc

Doing research for a new group of OCs I'm planning to create who are part of a cult, it's gonna be so fun
#I love learning about cults especially after being in one growing up (jw)#the cult Im making I was originally referring to as a death cult#but after reading a bit they're actually considered more of a destructive cult#I might try and combine the two tho since most if not all vults center around religion in some way#I didn't really want there to be religious aspects to this cult but again after research I've found not all cults are connected to existing#religions. which I should have figured with organizations like Heaven's Gate once existing#but death cults seem to surround the deep connections with past loved ones or smtg#I don't fully understand them yet. I will dive deeper into the subject soon (probably after work today)#I've got the vaugest ideas for the cult already tho#I want to make the leader a woman. ik it isn't very realistic 'cause most of the more popular/famous cults are headed by men#but that's all the more reason for me to make a woman cult leader. to do something a lil more unique#and also because we support womens wrongs in this house <3#there's also gonna be a group of mercenaries in the organization#or maybe everyone will be taught to be one? unclear yet#that's all I got so far I'll update y'all as I come up with new info and discover new things#viti shoosh

Starting the Journey:
• 𝐀 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐦 •
Hellenic polytheism (commonly referred to as helpol and popularly, although incorrectly, referred to as hellenism or hellenismos) refers to the reverence and worship of the hellenic (greek) gods. Over the past 7+ years, the religion has seen a boon of new followers popularized by social media, books, and TV shows. While this is phenomenal, it's brought in an influx of young and/or beginner future worshippers with no clue where to start. And with so many different possible starting points, a plethora of gods, and that one deity identification spread floating around, this post serves as a path all on its own.
You can follow it to the T, or take the basics of it and forage ahead yourself!
As always, I am a single resource. Please remember that even though this post serves as a guide, your own research will benefit you far more. Let's begin!
0. Respect
The very VERY first thing to remember when beginning your journey with hellenic polytheism, is to remember this is a religion. Sounds obvious, right? But many people seem to forget that the gods are in fact, gods. They are ancient, and the religion is very much alive and thriving. Respect will always be ground rule 0, and approaching the gods casually or for shits and giggles is not only disrespectful to them, but the beautiful, rich, and thriving existence of this religion.
1. The Starting Point
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞
Starting the worship of the gods begins with learning about the god (or gods) you'll be revering. There's a plethora of books to start with; "Ancient Greek Religion", "Ancient Greek Cults", "A Companion to Greek Religion". And while you should ABSOLUTELY read these, I understand that that can be a bit daunting and scary. So your VERY BASICS, should be "The Homeric Hymns", *The Orphic Hynms", and "Hesiod Theogony: Work and Days."
These books will give you the foundational basics of the gods and their myths, as well as expose you to their cults, epithets, and titles. I know reading sounds like a bore and a task, but nothing feels worse than jumping head first into the religion and worshipping a god you know nothing about.
𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Research. Research. Research. All gods have domains, and the only way you'll find the god suited best for you, is to learn.
Perhaps you know Apollo as a sun and music god. But did you know he's also a god of medicine, with darted arrows that could grant sudden death or cause plagues?
Perhaps you know Ares as the god of bloodthirsty war, but did you know he's also the father of the Amazon-queens? Or the giver of food, as he assisted his newborn son in suckling milk from his dead mother.
The gods all have domains that are incredibly well known, but also far lesser known/popular ones. Learning these can help you decide which god is best suited for your worships.
Absolutely check out theoi.com for information on the individual gods and their domains. It also provides a great starting point for learning their myths, provides texts that pertain to them, and provides a list of their epithets and cult titles.
Yes, the constant research can be daunting and tiresome and boring. But this is the absolute BEST place to start. How will you worship a god you barely understand? How will you know what offerings are favorable to them? But most importantly, how will you be able to build a relationship with a god (kharis) that you barely know?
You can build the most beautiful altar in the world for them, but that altar will become empty decor if you don't know how to (safely) invite a god into the space and worship them properly. These are the fundamentals, and you will have an incredibly hard time getting any sort of fulfillment worshipping an ignored and empty altar.
𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮
A very popular thing beginners like to start with is "deity identification." This involves using a tarot deck, and a (typically) pre-made spread. The spread will assign a meaning to each card (their domain, their personality, what they want to work on with you, etc).
I do not advise this for beginners.
At least, beginners with no background in divination to that degree. There is a vast difference between using tarot to divine messages and advice from spirits and the universe, and using tarot to divine the identification of a god. This requires much more than a basic understanding of tarot, and a god can very easily scramble the card meanings to however they please. This can lead to a lot of confusion and frustration in beginners, as they don't know how to interpret these messages.
Don't focus on identifying a particular god yet. Instead, learn as much as you can and settle on a god you resonate with first. This god may or may not be one you worship for years to come, and it's okay to be cautious when dipping your toes into helpol.
02. The Path of Worship
𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬
Kharis is defined as "the exchange of goodwill and reciprocity between humans and the divine." It is the relationship you build with your god, and emphasizes the importance of the personal relationship we build with them through devotional acts.
It's asked a lot, "what can I, a regular small mortal, provide to an ancient god? How can I be beneficial to them?" And the answer is simply devotion.
Devotion is what the gods wants, and they enjoy/ indulge in our acts in their names. To give devotion is to recognize the gods as entities deserving of reverence. So how do we do this?
𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚
Miasma is a sort of "spiritual dirtiness" upon a person, and is something that we as mortal pick up in every day life and is not necessarily considered "bad". It is an aspect that separates us from the divine, who do not collect miasma. It's important to note that this isn't equivalent to the Abrahamic version of "sin". Miasma can (in most cases) be washed away simply by the act of washing your hands. It's stated in quite a few places that one would use khernips for hand washing, although there is a floating beliefs that khernips is "water purifies by fire." Typically considered fire that a torch has been doused in and then used to wash one's hands.
However from the research I've personally done, this is never actually confirmed and khernips is simply clean water that one would wash their hands in.
There is also a belief that those with periods are considered miasmic before the gods and therefore shouldn't worship until 7 days after they stop bleeding.
There is no evidence (to my knowledge) that verifies this and periods are not typically mentioned in ancient Greek texts or sources. It seems to stem from the fact that most bodily fluids are considered miasmic to many of the gods (ie blood, spit, genital secretion such as cum, etc) and should not be offered. However, this does not state that someone on their period cannot approach the gods to provide offerings and worship, so long as the blood is nor being offered.
Certain miasmic impurities cannot be simply washed away, however, such as murder and being around the dead, and may require a purification ritual to be cleansed.
𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬
Offerings are the sacrifices we make to our gods. They are the gifts we give, and oftentimes tangible displays of our devotion and worship.
Offerings can be a wide range of things and depend on the god's interests, estates, and attributes. Learning a gods preferences will result in favor from them, and builds kharis and report with them.
Its also important to understand what your god doesn't like or enjoy. What is seen as favorable to one god may be offensive and displeasing to another. A very obvious example of this would be offerings between Aphrodite and Artemis. While Aphrodite would be pleased with an accept offerings reminiscent of sexual desire and acts (dedicated sex toys for example), this would be unfavorable to Artemis, a virginal goddess, who has no need nor desire for such things.
Understanding the preferences of your gods is key to providing worthy offerings.
𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬
In addition to offerings, devotional acts are also a large aspect of building kharis. These can be large acts such as cleaning litter from beaches in the name of Poseidon or Amphitrite, or small acts such as devoting washing your face to Aphrodite. This post itself is a devotional act to Lord Hermes, who reveres the spreading and sharing of knowledge.
Devotional acts will fall under the domain of your god, and can be done simply by doing them, in their name.
Once again, ensure that your devotional acts aren't seen as unfavorable to your god. Poseidon will enjoy you donating to sea life preservative charities and beach clean ups, however that same act will be inconsequential to Ares.
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬
Prayers are not typically seen as offerings, as an offering is a gift to that god with no expectations. That said, it is common to provide offerings during or after prayers. Prayers are requests and petitions made to a god in asking for assistance, whether that be for help in an issue, advice, help reaching a resolution to something, or even asking for a little extra help or luck throughout the day.
That said, prayers can also be used as offerings if used entirely to praise your god with no added requests. The different would be asking for anything in exchange. Prayers of petitions are not offerings, prayers of praise and reverence are.
If you're curious about the construction of prayers, you can check out my break down of crafting prayers!
𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬
Altars are stations dedicated to your god. They act as designated spots of worship to pray at, make libations, and make offerings.
Whike you may see a lot of altars floating around that are incredibly aesthetic, it's important to know that an altar doesn't have to be large and grand. It can be a dedicated shelf, the corner of a shelf, a shoebox, or even a small mint tin. The point is that it is a place of dedication for your god.
𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Libations typically preface offerings, although are not required for every single offeding or every single day. But they are wonderful for building kharis as you provide (and in some cases partake in) a drink for the gods. I go in depth on libations, how to do them, and common libations given in this post!
𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Now that you know how to worship, it's important to ensure your worships are recieved. Doing this is simple, and just required you inviting the god into your space. You don't need to do some large invokation like stated in my prayers post, especially if you're just making offerings. A simple "I dedicated this to [god]".
That said, it's always good to invoke properly when dedicating your altar to them. An invocation should include the god's name, and display that you know who they are. You can use epithets, parentage, residences, and domains in your invocations. An example invocation for Zeus could go something like:
"I call upon Zeus, the Supreme and most high. King of kings and head of Olympus, son of Rhea and overthrower of his father Kronos. I invite you into this space, crafted and dedicated to your might and grace."
With this, we have invoked Zeus and designation the altar as his own.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Communication with a god can be a nerve wracking thing to start, but I can assure you they're not going to bite. There's a myriad of ways to communicate with a god, and its wholly up to you and them to decide what works best. Some people work best with tarot, others with oracle cards. Some prefer pendulums, ouija boards/spirit boards, dice, bones, runes, charm casting, or something else entirely.
If one thing is uncomfortable for you or doesn't seem to be working all too well, simply try something else. I akin it to fiddling with the antenaes of an old TV to try and get a signal from the divine. You have to find the position that simpky works best.
03. Walking the Path of the Gods
As we've discussed research and starting your worships, I want to briefly touch of potential paths that extend past simple devotion and worship. Namely, working with the gods and priestesshood.
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐝
You'll see the term "deity work" floating around a lot. This refers to working closely with a god for the betterment of yourself and/or your life with that god's assistance. It typically comes after building kharis with that god, and an agreed upon decision to work together.
This typically comes after establishing kharis and worshipping that god, and I personally don't recommend attempting to jump right into it. Deity work is not only energy consuming, but directly calls that god to assist you closely and personally. Attempting to start this and simply walking away because you no longer wish to work with that god is a waste of their time and offensive. Be aware of that god's time, and respect it.
𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭/𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝
Priest and Priestesshood are something I discuss quite a bit on my page, as a priestess myself. They go beyond simply working with a god, and become working for that god. If you're more interested in the topic, you can check out my post on the topic here ♡
•Common Questions•
Can I as a beginner worship multiple gods?
Absolutely. However I don't personally advise it. I suggest starting with one and getting used to worshipping in general. Then you can decide if you feel comfortable worshipping more.
Why don't you recommend using deity identification spreads?
This is a personal preference of mine, and its because I find them incredibly limiting and stiff. Gods are not the same as normal entities and spirits, and identifying them requires a degree of skill and knowledge of of not only your cards but the gods themselves.
Additionally, I find tarot for deity identification incredibly limiting. While it's phenomenal for communication, I believe tarot in combination with lenormand or oracle cards provide a much better understanding of who's around for identifications.
I got a reading that said X god wants to work with me but I don't think I'm ready. What do I do?
Politely decline. It's far better to ask a god to wait or inform them that you're not ready to take that step, than to trudge into something you're bor confident in. The gods are immortal, and our lives are a drop in the bucket to them. They don't mind waiting for when you are ready, if you'll ever be. You dont have to work with or worship every god that shows an interest in you and its not disrespectful to decline an invitation.
This was a long one! But I hope it's helped provide a decent foundation for you to start your own personal journey into hellenic polytheism. Please never hesitate to reach out with questions, and as always, safe travels ♡

I love how this post forgets entirely that a lot of ppl are against GMO because they are deeply related to modifying food in order to resist certain pesticides that then end up in our food. It’s not because “contains genes”, it’s because contains non-biodegradable substances that pollute our lands and, by now, our clouds and rain. It’s about the chemicals that have tons and tons of studies showing they increase the development of allergies in the population, cause unusual hormone alterations, and even affect fetus in pregnant ppl. In the towns around the fields where they are spread, you have 3 times more cancer cases than the national mean, specially in kids. So, no, it’s not “mere genes”. It’s a lot more and deeper, related to sustainability and public health, which is also science that corporations ignore completely. What I found so curious is that most ppl from first world countries does not know that the majority of the GMO is not related to “make crops flood resistant”, but resistant to pesticides. Monsanto loves spreading that concept that GMO is just used to make “food have more vit A”. And ppl just repeat. Countries where we truly endure the use of GMO in our lands, we know exactly that GMO means.
GMO has existed forever, natives such as the incas practised it, it’s not “new”, it’s not “modern science”. Mexicas developed a hundred corn types over centuries with this technique. Again, it’s not new. Now we can accelerate the genetic modifications and be more accurate with the modern techniques, but it’s mostly to make them resistant to pesticides. Why do you think Monsanto was bought by Bayer years ago? The same corporation that sells you pesticides, that are, most of the time, non-controlled in their manipulations, is the same one that sells you food and then medicines because the illnesses related to the constant ingest of these [non-regulated] pesticides. And this is one of the many negatives effects. Another one that happens with GMO [even though nobody in this fucking place wants to acknowledge it] is the mono-cultive practices [non-rotation of the crops] that destroy the health of the soil, and if you don’t have a soil with rich minerals, the plants you put to grow there won’t develop properly or will be poor in minerals and vits. So, we have poorer food and erosion. Because, yes... GMO used in this way causes it. A big problem that, again, nobody speaking about GMO seems to know. We are not speaking about the erosion of the soils and how these practices are destroying entire countries’ biodiversity.
Another great danger that specialists have been repeating over and over is that GMO usually forces similar modifications in different crops so different plants can resist the same pesticides that are sold in a big “bio-package”. This causes that weed and some plagues became resistant or stronger to this pesticide, so every few years we need higher doses or stronger pesticides that end up in our food and in our body [because so far, a lot of them are not biodegradable]. All the problems listed above become more concentrated.
The other important danger is that it may happen a plague or a fungus that may be particularly prone to develop, associated with a similar modification that was used on different crops. This can endanger a lot of different crops with one single plague, causing potential destruction of big quantities of different kinds of food [this is also a very old concern known by natives since centuries ago, reason why they always tried to use rudimentary GMO techniques to favour a diversification of the crops, not the other way around like corporations do now]. So far we know, scientists have talked about this a lot, but one thing is a scientist talking about this issue, and another is a food-monopolised-corporation doing it, especially when corporations see more profit by just reducing the diversification in our food [less different bio-packages to develop].
And we can continue with the silly argument that “corporations are different to the GMO technique”, and even though that’s true “technically”, the reality shows otherwise. We live in a world where GMO has been monopolised. Hell, food industry is already monopolised, so don’t be so naive to think that we still can keep things separated.
“Mere genes”. I would love so much this place to learn the topic properly before dismissing entire populations in this way. GMO, as it’s now, controlled and monopolised by corporations, is a big no-no. And dismissing the entire population whose children have 3 times more cancer cases than the national mean [northern provinces of Argentina, for example] because these pesticides, annoys me a lot. Never ever I've seen an integral post of GMO in this place. The topic is a looot more complex than the religious adoration of science or feeling superior because “I know science” or “I _believe_ in science”. Not all science is good, not all science is well tested before being used, corporation science is always a big question mark in many, many contexts, and science is always founded and moved by interests [unfortunately, more and more corporate interests by now]. Science is good, but don’t turn it into the new religion. It has limits and flaws, and it’s dirty to the neck with interests that few want to acknowledge.

Funny how that works
#and before anyone shits on me#im a fucking STEM worker#so *science * is something i know from within in many aspects#go check how GMO is manipulated in the fucking entire south america and then come to talk to me#tumblr should restrain talking about GMO and nutrition#both topics are so terrible done and so biased that it shows how brainwashed gringos are#even those who try their best not to#and another topic is the romantisation of the science to the point to becoming an alternative religion in modern times#that's another fucking long topic#like... ppl have no idea how easily you can publish shit if you pay#and the faith all these ppl put in whatever shit is published#without knowing what magazine is how they work with papers and if the lab is not related to the corporation#so many subtle details are overlooked... and yet here everything is *it's a paper must be truth and THE truth *#lol....#I have such a frustration when tumblr speaks about science...#science was made to be never *believed* but tested and continously forced to prove its veracity#and because we live in despair times... science has became a new religion from which all what comes from it#every bit of it#should be embraced and believed#and dont get me wrong... i love science and i feel it's the best tool humans have to understand the world and survive it#but the extreme romantization i see here.... it's another big nono#it's almost a cult#and if science has sometimes in its essence is to not becoming a cult#science is not free of the -sometimes- most perverse interests#and monsanto is almost the embodiment of that#with years of *paid* research claiming that glifosato was biodegradable and inocous to ppl#see where that shit went to...#my university has two big branches on this topic#engineers who develop GMO which are the strongest inside the university with their mindset#and engineers focused on agro-ecology and native techniques

DxDp prompt idea
Danny's going to college at Gotham University, he mainly moved to Gotham to keep an eye on Jazz who's working at Arkham and also because he got a scholarship, he sees a few of his classmates struggling so he gives them his summoning sigil, without saying it's his, and helps them understand their studies as the ancient of space in exchange for cans of soda or bags of chips or candy, things take a turn after Danny gives Jazz's boyfriend Jason a sigil without realizing who he is. Shortly after he discovers he (danny) has accidentally started a cult
"... so you started a cult. For what reason?" Jazz said, exasperated.
Danny shuffled his feet. "It wasn't on purpose."
"... so instead of giving people your phone number, you gave them a sigil of summoning, accidentally Pavlov'd them to give you offerings for your assistance, and then helped them with homework? Which also officially marks them as your follower and devotee?"
Danny winced. "When you say it like that, it sounds really bad."
Jazz gave him a look. "It is really bad. You're gaining a following, Danny, and soon, all of this worship will make you another god in this universe. I thought you wanted a normal school year?"
"Noooo..." Danny groaned. "I just wanted to be normal!"
Jazz shook her head to herself and sighed. "It's hopeless. You're going to become a god, Batman is doing to find you, and then the Observants are going to kill you. All because you accidentally started a new religion."
"I just wanted to help! How am I supposed to know that the crazies here are also superstitious?!"
The door opened then, with Jason stepping inside of the apartment. Both siblings turned to look at him. He was holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand for Jazz and a bag of groceries in the other.
"Hey, did you guys hear? There's a new religion starting—"
"WE KNOW!!"

Oh no. What's wrong with Silver Ravenwolf? I feel like I see them recommended everywhere...
Yeeeeaaaah, it's an ongoing problem. Her books were wildly popular for over a decade and they're were widely marketed as THE Book To Have for beginner witches by Llewellyn, which was the heaviest of the heavy hitters in occult literature at the time.
The problem with Silver Ravenwolf is largely that she is wildly out of touch in a very New Age White Woman kind of way. Her books tout loads of misinformation, appropriation, and historical revisionism that are simply not acceptable (i.e. claiming victims of witch trials were actual pagan witches, citing a fictional ancient matriarchal goddess religion that never existed was the basis for Wicca, leaning into the hereditary superpowers / indigo child / starseed narrative, etc). Besides which, the theories she posits contradict each other from page to page and chapter to chapter, claims a Gardnerian lineage which can’t possibly exist, and trumpets Buckland’s personal theories on the Burning Times and interpretation of the Threefold Law as if they were fact.
And thanks to her runaway popularity, those of us who instruct and answer questions from newer witches have to UNTEACH all of this nonsense.
If it were simply a matter of being a product of her time, I could forgive some of the nonsense. But she’s still selling mammy dolls on her website, though she labels them as “primitive” and equates them to “positive voodoo dolls.” Yes, she's been confronted about this, and yes she doubled down. I don’t think I need to explain how gross and racist this is on SEVERAL levels. She's been given opportunities to show growth and self-work with regards to her work and simply refuses to believe that she was ever wrong about anything.
So, her books aren't entirely worthless by any means, but they require a LOT of critical reading and a strong understanding of actual history and science. Furthermore, she leans rather hard into a borderline cult mentality that boils down to, "Nobody understands you, but because you're drawn to witchcraft, you're SPECIAL, probably because of some ancient hereditary superpower, so don't worry - Mama Silver understands you. Also, there's no need to read further into anything, just take my word for it."
I would not recommend them for beginners, which is a problem because that's exactly the demographic her work is marketed toward. (Personally, I would not recommend them for anybody, but that's just my opinion.) They require so much effort to fact-check and unpack that it's almost not even worth the time and energy for whatever ideas and information you might actually find useful.
For more details, I suggest the following articles:

Just wanna give a proper heads up on this due to everything and Fuuta and Amanes new sprites.
Fuuta is not stupid for turning to religion. Amane is not evil for helping that happen. Fuuta’s been having an incredibly painful time within the prison, both mentally and physically. We’ve seen him say back in trial 2 how he just wants anything to stop the pain, so when offered a coping mechanism, it makes sense he took it. People who fall victim to toxic religious ideologies aren’t more susceptible or dumb, mindsets like that specifically target people who are the most vulnerable, that’s how cults recruit members in real life. It may come off as hard to understand with Fuuta’s coping mechanisms through religions, but it’s as much as one as using drugs or alcohol to wash away one’s stressors. Just since it isn’t physical it’s harder to understand at first. You can’t blame Fuuta for how he’s become, he’s been hurting so much that he’s do anything to feel better, even if it means going down this path.
Amane isn’t the perpetrator here either. She’s lived her whole life under religious beliefs and has been told that the outside word is sinful and corrupted and that she must preach their ideology. Amane is truly trying to be a kind person, it’s the problem of what she’s been told kindness is that lead this to happening. She’s seen Fuuta suffering and truly wants to help him, it’s just that as per growing up in a cult her idea of help was introducing her religion to him. So from both of the situations these two are in it makes sense why this happened.
Amane and Fuuta never really properly had friends in their real lives either. Being in this prison and establishing some sort of found sibling relationship was helpful to the both of them to actually connect to others so if that’s anything it’s nice to see.

DPXDC Prompt. Dead on main with priest Jason: Father Todd brings the Ghost King’s cult into the World of the Living.
So, when Jason dies and returns, the League of Assassins fails to hold him for long because spirits from Far Frozen pick him up after seeing teen through the Lazarus pit.
Jason quickly realizes that, well, they’re kinda obsessed with their cult of the Great One. And yeah the cult of the ruling Ghost King was very popular during the reign of the Pariah Dark but back then the rituals were carried out more out of fear. Now things are different. The population of the Ghost Zone has become interested in the activities of Frostbite and his loyal spirits because of an attempt to understand what kind of ghost the new ruler is and how best to thank and appease him. So Jason had no shortage of stories about the teenager's deeds.
~~~~
Jason to Frostbite: Well, you guys and your lil hobby are nice but I don't understand at all what's so cool about this guy, even if he defeated Pariah Dark and gets along with most of the Ancients…
Danny: *comes to visit Frostbite*, *slips and falls three times, sets the kitchen on fire in an attempt to make coffee then sheepishly smiles at Jason*.
Jason to Frostbite: ... Okay, Understandable, I Hope Danny Has a Nice Day and Some Sleep.
Tucker: Congratulations, you've acquired another Paulina. Great job. Danny: I'd rather he just asked me out instead of worshipping me. What the hell? I'm just a semi-ghost.
Tucker: Maybe things would be easier if you just gave him your phone number, you know? Danny: But he didn't ask. Tucker: Why didn't you ask? Danny: I couldn't! He's Robin himself, you know? Tucker: Well, good luck to you idiots to grow old alone near the altars of each other's name. Danny: Actually lil altar in his honor is not such a bad idea. Maybe this way he'll understand that I like him too.. Tucker: Danny, no!
~~~~
New in Gotham robbers break into Jason's place: Hey, father, God ordered you to share with your neighbors, so bring us some money or we.. Jason, who is talking on the phone with Danny: In fact, he just said that if you don't get out of here now, he will turn a blind eye to the fact that I will use my guns.
Danny*screams internally*: Oh Ancients, he's sooo cool!
Pandora: Honey, we're happy for you but stop flooding us with spam. You have already told 5 times during prayer how good his abs and chest look and how perfect Todd is when he reads aloud. We get it, okay? Clockwork: Well, I actually enjoy it. It's so much more interesting to watch while listening to the internal dialogue. Show must go on~ Danny: ...Get out of my mind! Nocturn: Thou shalt not take the name of the Lords in vain if you don't want to share with us, lil blob. So rude.
~~~Team Song: You Are My Religion · Firehouse~~~~
that isn't very holy of you :/
Yandere church boy x gn!reader
It came out shittier than I hoped for. Not proofread 🌺 I'll fix this when I have the time
Tw: religious themes, noncon mention, minor cult mention
✝️ you had just arrived in the small town of morning star. Having been needing a break from the city life, you rented a one bedroom cabin close by. Planning on staying here for a month, you quickly headed towards your new home, very eager to start exploring the area
✝️ wandering around the town square, it seemed everyone knew eachother. A family like community perhaps? Maybe that's why they all kept staring at you as passed through, must not be use to new faces
✝️that was until a group of children approached, asking you to come play ball with them. You couldn't say no to their puppy dog eyes, and the adult's judgemental stares so you agreed. And it was fun surprisingly! You noticed none of the children had any phones.. or the grown up's for that matter
✝️your first week there you were unsettled, but you just pushed it off as the townsfolks strange behavior, Focusing on unpacking and enjoying your stsy. Until one of the school teachers, a kindergarten one, knocked on your door on a sunday
"hi there honey! On behalf of the people I'd like to sincerely apologize for the cold welcome. It's just been a hard year for all of us! So to make it up you, won't you come to church with us on this fine morning?"
✝️ whether or not you're religious yourself, she managed to convince you to come along. Chatting the whole walk there. Talking about her husband, her children. She mentioned something about having a son your age but you weren't really paying attention
✝️ walking through the grand double doors of the church house, she sat you on the front row with the pastors family, next to a young man. You were startled as she sat on the other side of you, leaning in to whisper In Your ear as she pointed at the pastor preaching
"that's my hubby right there. He's a handsome fella ain't he?"
✝️david looked at his mother in disbelief, he told her a few a times he found you attractive and now look at her! He could practically see the gears turning in her head. thankfully you seemed preoccupied thinking, so he did his best to seem normal while his poor heart beated 300 mph
✝️after the sermon, david turned to you and have you a sheepish smile
"hi.. my name's David, but you can call me dave.. its.. nice to meet you"
✝️you and David hit it off, unlike all the other people. He didn't constantly talk about praising god and forcing his religion down your throat. He was kind, understanding. Laughing at your jokes and nodding along to your words. He never met someone so.. ethereal
✝️growing up, he had a hard time believing in his small towns "god". Watching them cut up and sacrifice newcomers to their false idols, he felt sick to the pit of his stomach heading their screams. But he could definitely devote his cause to you...
✝️he trapped you in this shitty town when he asked you out on a little date a few days later. Unaware he drugged your food and dragging you into his home, waking up chained to a bed. You couldn't tell how long you've been there, but every time you'd try to escape he'd punish you in bed. Not letting you cum or overstimulating you to the point of tears. Why would you want to leave something that can make you feel so good?
✝️he grew up desensitized to blood and gore, so he's confused when you're screaming and crying. Why are you doing that? Don't you know that this is what happens to bad spouses? What do you mean you're not married either? ofcourse you are. Stop being so difficult...
✝️nobody blinks an eye when he strides into town with you on a collar and leash. And that's when you realized, you should have left earlier. Because the whole town was sick in the head. It wasn't like you could call for help because he fucking destroyed your electronics and the people don't even have phones. Something about wifi signals can brainwash you
✝️ he's whipped for you, that much you can obviously tell. but he's smarter than he looks. Eating dinner with his family is just painful,since all they talk about is God god god. It hurts your ears with how often they just Randomly start singing praises. It's bad enough they force you to watch their cult church activities...
✝️if you give in to his demands, he'll let you off the leash but you have to stay close by at all times. If you don't, he'll have to make his punishments a little more extreme. There's also a possibility he'll force you to help around the town. whether that be looking after the children or just running around doing errands. The shock bracelet on your ankle stops you from running into the woods..
✝️if you don't, well.. you wouldn't mind if you became permanently handicapped right?
"don't be so difficult sweetie.. just stay still and it'll cut right through okay?'
A guide to demonolatry
What is demonolatry?
Modern Demonolatry is a polytheistic religion, focusing on the worship and cult of demons, both adepts and students of the Left Hand can adopt it in two ways, one through a more theistic view and another more practical and modern view. Demons are spirits with a great degree of wisdom that the magician can access their energies, the adept can choose to worship them, or just work with the energies by performing ceremonial rituals.
In Demonolatry, we invoke them without trapping them in magic circles - like in goetia - because we are similar to them and like us, they deserve their freedom and autonomy.
As described by S. Connolly on her book: The complete guide of demonolatry: "A DEITY IS COMPOSED OF MATTER. WE WORSHIP (WORK WITH) THIS "MATTER". THROUGH PRAYER, WE GIVE IT FORM AND POSITIVE ENERGY. IN TURN, IT WILL RETURN THE FAVOR."
In other words, we work with and honor demons to discover our true potential as imperfect but divine beings bound to a physical plane of existence. They do not control or harm us, we control ourselves, we remain our own person as we worship them.
WHAT ARE DEMONS?
Demons/daemon = spirit of knowledge and wisdom, a devil in Christian mythology, daemon derives from daimon which means full of wisdom, divine power, the word is of Greek origin. These deities were worshipped in the pre-Christian (pagan) era and religions, many entities of paganism, Roman, Greek, Egyptian pantheons were classified as demons by the Christian church. We can say that these spirits are great teachers, ancient gods.
CATEGORIES OF DEMONOLATRY
First let's understand what demonolatry and demonology mean, just so you don't get confused.
Demonology = the study and cataloging of demons.
Demonololatry = the worship of demons and/or the practice of ritual magic with the help of entities known as demons.
Demonolators = those who practice demonolatry in the form of worship or practice magic.
Theistic Demonolatry: they see demons as real entities, they are gods of the past, ancient gods, they are rulers of the world, like Satan, the whole, the universe.
Modern Demonolatry: In this current, demons are forces of elemental energies that help with spiritual self-knowledge and magical operations. They personify an emotion, an element or an idea. Demonolatry is an individual system, each follower has their beliefs regarding demons, if you work with demons you are a demonolator.
As pointed out before, many entities considered "demons" were ancient gods that were demonized by Christianity, with this image perpetuated for so long that many people still believe that they are, in fact, just demons.
An example of this would be the Canaanite god Baal, whose origins are distorted but also complex. Analysis of archaeological and epigraphic artifacts points to Upper Mesopotamia, associating him with the Gods of "time." Specifically, his origins date back to Aleppo, considered the motherland of the God Hadu. During the Middle and Late Bronze Age, the cult of Hadu expanded throughout the Levant. In Lower Mesopotamia, he was known under the names Haddu, Hadda, Hadad, Addu, and Adad. On the Syro-Palestinian coast, in the middle of the second millennium BCE, Hadu was initially worshiped with the epithet "Baal" (Baal-Hadu). Over time, this epithet replaced the original name, transforming Hadu into the "new" God Baal.
As one can presume, Baal lost his origin and was turned into one of the demons in the Ars Goetia, described as the King of the East, Lord of storm and fertility.
He has a very fascinating origin, but let's get back to the topic we were discussing!
ENNS
Enns are magical invocations designed to summon demonic spirits. No one knows what language the Enns come from - some have said that they were given to us by a demon. They were first considered demonic enns in the late 16th century by the demonolator Alexander Willit. Enns are unique in that they appear in several family grimoires from different geographic locations and always remain the same.
You can chant the enn while you meditate so you and the demon can connect to each other, you can use it as a form of flattery. There's many ways one can use it.
SIGILS OF DEMONS
Sigils are symbols created for a specific magical purpose.
In Demonolatry, sigils are representations of demonic entities. Sigils allow the practitioner to focus on the demonic entity, connect with the demon's energy, and also simply honor the demon. They are tools used to help the practitioner summon a Demonic Entity.
THE NINE DIVINITIES
The nine deities, according to Richard Dukante, are the demons of the fundamental energy of the universe, of existence and balance. These energies are: fire, earth, air, water, positive polarity (health), negative polarity (destruction), life and death. All these energies together form Satan (the Whole), but individually, they are distinct demons.
These demons are:
Fire – Flereous
Earth – Belial
Air – Lucifer
Water – Leviathan
Health – Verrine
Destruction – Amducious
Life – Unsere
Death – Euronymous
HOW TO WORK THEM / TYPES OF OFFERINGS
In Demonolatry, offerings depend on the purpose and the demon you are working with. You can offer blood, as it contains our vital energy, or you can offer sexual fluids, an hour of study about a demon, or the disclosure of their seal and names.
In Demonolatry, the magician does not use a triangle or a circle of protection, because contact with these energies (demons) will not be aggressive or hostile, and there is no need for banishments and threats. Here, the magician and the entity work in partnership. You can light the candle and invite them to come to you, and many times, they will come. Research about them and make a sincere offering as a thank you for their time and for them coming to your ritual.
What's the difference between Satanism and demonolatry?
The word and its derivation “Satanist” appeared for the first time in French and English in the sixteenth century during the European Wars of Religion. In publications from this period, Roman Catholic authors directed it against Protestant Christians, and vice versa, while both applied the epithet to Anabaptists.
Their polemical use of the term did not necessarily mean that they thought their religious counterparts were self-consciously and secretly worshipping the devil — although mutual abuse might occasionally spill over into such allegations, particularly with regard to the Anabaptists — but rather that Roman Catholic veneration for “graven images” or Protestant adherence to “heresy” implied being a fellow traveler on Satan’s bandwagon. In the early nineteenth century, the terms “Satanist” and “Satanism” acquired even broader meanings and came to designate a person or thing with a “Satanic character,” a person or thing inherently evil or wicked.
Only toward the end of the nineteenth century did the word “Satanism” come to hold the significance that it still has, for historians of religion, B-film directors, and the general public alike, namely, as the intentional and explicit worship of Satan. This is not to say that the concepts and practices embodied in this word did not exist prior to that time.
According to Children of Lucifer: The origins of modern religious Satanism - Ruben Van Luikj.
Satanism as we know now is divided into two: theistic Satanism and atheistic Satanism. Let's delve a little into how differente they are now.
Modern Satanism has its roots in the 20th century, with figures such as Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan in 1966, and writer of the Satanic Bible. LaVey also structured his own commandments, which are: I - You shall love and hate with equal intensity.
II - You shall love yourself above all else.
III - You shall love others as they love you.
IV - You shall know yourself.
V - You shall always seek material and spiritual improvement.
VI - You shall not use Satan's name for wrongful purposes.
VII - You shall respect and protect children and animals.
VIII - You shall live every second as if it were your last.
IX - You shall walk your own path but respect the path of others.
X - You shall give your best in everything you do
LaVeyan Satanism, for example, is more of an atheistic philosophy that uses the figure of Satan as a symbol of rebellion, individualism, and skepticism. There is no belief in literal demons or deities. Theistic Satanism, though, involves belief in Satan or demons as real entities and may include worship practices similar to Demonolatry.
In LaVeyan Satanism, practices include symbolic rituals, ritual magic, and the celebration of values such as hedonism and rational selfishness. In Theistic Satanism, practices may include worship, invocations, and offerings to Satan or demons.
Demonolatry involves the worship of demons as deities, and is more devotional and spiritual. LaVeyan Satanism does not believe in literal demons, and focuses more on an atheistic philosophy focused on individualism and skepticism, while Theistic Satanism may involve the belief in Satan or demons as real entities.
What's the difference between Goetia and demonolatry?
Luciferian Goetia is a modern evolution of Solomonic Goetia, adapting ancient practices to a more contemporary philosophy. It emphasizes collaboration and learning from demons, viewing them as spiritual mentors or allies. The approach is more enlightened and less authoritarian, focusing on spiritual growth and self-knowledge. This branch uses rituals, sigils, and invocations, but with an intention of partnership and mutual respect rather than control or domination.
Solomonic Goetia has its roots in ancient texts such as the "Lemegeton" or "The Lesser Key of Solomon". It is a traditional and well-structured practice. It involves the evocation and control of demons through detailed and authoritative rituals. The practitioner seeks to dominate and command these entities to obtain benefits or perform specific tasks. Its practices include the creation of magic circles, the use of sigils and the performance of complex rituals to evoke and control demons. The focus is on controlling and dominating demons to achieve specific goals, such as power, knowledge or the accomplishment of tasks.
Demonolatry = Veneration and worship of demons as deities.
Luciferian Goetia = Collaboration and learning with demons as mentors.
Solomonic Goetia = Control and domination of demons to obtain benefits.
Each of these practices offers a unique path for those seeking to interact with demonic entities, but with different philosophies, methods, and goals.
A/n: there was so much info i could write about, but i think this went really well. If I notices that I missed an important detail, I may do a part 2. Hopefully I was able to shed some light on this topic!
“We have the technology now to live beyond the monetary system by which we are bound.
Our reliance upon money to survive is a means of modern day slavery. it is a means of entraping almost everyone so that a few will benefit.
It is easy to see how this has happened-
The illusion that we are all seperate from each other is at the root of our problem society. .. because we are born into different bodies and assigned different names it is hard to understand that what we do to another, we do to ourselves.
But Scientific Law shows that we are extensions of each other.
With the continued advancements in technology we will come to find that that there is no right or wrong religion- there will only be the technology t surpass what we are programed to call human nature and bring us to a Global understanding.
When this happens we can be free of the drudgery that we call humanity today. and free to finally go beyond the limitations that we have set upon our own minds.
We set these limitations in order to be able to perform in our society which is based on scarcity rather than abundance
Our Children will ask us why we created weapons of mass destruction rather than weapons of mass creation when we had the technology to do it (don’t know)
We are ready for a social transformation,
a shift of consciousness.
As of today most of us are our jobs-our occupations. We live to work~
But because of this, the general public has developed a severe neurosis in the last century. It is a sign that we have outgrown our current social (dont know) Remember:
Money is created out of thin air.
Money = Debt.
Only a global boycott on the entire system.
I'll expand another time but these are my notes for the Cult of the Lamb! Reader X Yandere! Batfam AU
A/N: I am very sick, so I can't really expand that much right now. But here are the bare bones of the au. Hope you like it! Also, I chose the name based off of my last playthrough of the game. And I don't know the legality of cults, but lets say they can coast by under the GCPD's radar for a little, okay?
Overall Plot
Bat-Lamb, a Lamb metahuman, is the central figure of a cult disguised as a “home of spirituality.”
Cult is located deep in Gotham's underbelly, with around 40-50 followers.
They don’t refer to themselves as a cult; it falls under a religion legally, so law enforcement can’t do much.
The cult appears idyllic, which makes some heroes (like those in the Bat-Family) suspicious.
The cult's base is called "The Meadow."
Powers and Role
Only Bat-Lamb has powers, granted by the One Who Waits
Their power grows with devotion from followers.
Powers include: mind reading, manifesting weapons, brainwashing, resurrection, healing, making crops grow.
They perform miracles, which leads the cult to worship them more than the One Who Waits.
Bat-Lamb is feared by some members due to their abilities and "unspeakable" punishments.
Cult Culture & Beliefs
Cult members are family-oriented and place huge importance on marriage.
Marital robes resemble cult robes but are longer.
All cult members wear red robes with a white ram’s horn symbol.
They view non-cult relationships as shallow or loveless.
The cult believes only they understand true romantic love.
Festivals (with bonfires and feasts) are common and used to recruit outsiders.
They sometimes hold public-facing events to indoctrinate new members.
Rules & Dynamics
No lying to Bat-Lamb, as Bat-Lamb can read the thoughts of followers.
Bat-Lamb claims to love all followers equally, regardless of their past.
Followers are not allowed to betray Bat-Lamb—betrayal may trigger the "unspeakable."
They often close ranks against outsiders but may have internal betrayals for survival.
Followers show jealousy, squabbling, and sometimes infighting—but Bat-Lamb intervenes to stop it.
Disciples take care of dissenters or those who try to leave, unbeknownst to Bat-Lamb.
Recruitment & Indoctrination
Recruits often include outcasts, homeless, and those with nowhere else to go.
Bat-Lamb offers them a home and a sense of belonging.
Some join out of love, others from desperation.
Dissenters may be “re-educated” through brainwashing or psychological manipulation (often via a pillory).
Missionaries are sent out to recruit followers or gather resources.
Relationships
Although Bat-Lamb views them all equally, Bat-Lamb’s spouse is seen as a higher caste member—used as proof of "true love" within the cult.
The relationship is seemingly healthy, with mutual trust and understanding. But the spouse was chosen seemingly at random.
Other followers may feel romantic or obsessive feelings toward Bat-Lamb, causing tension.
Bat-Family eventually discovers Bat-Lamb’s identity, that being the missing middle child of the Wayne family, and tries to rescue them, but Bat-Lamb refuses to leave.
Conflict & Paranoia
Bat-Lamb is deeply paranoid about betrayal, especially from within.
They believe the cult is their true family and will not abandon it.
The cult is both manipulated by and manipulating Bat-Lamb.
Some members are not true believers, which might lead to drama or eventual collapse.
A/N: ya ain't a true Wayne child unless you're paranoid about literally everything. I might get into the Batfam's relationship with Bat-Lamb later when I'm not dying from consumption (/j). Also also, i used Mashed on YouTube's animation of Cult of the Lamb as some inspiration. Really good, give it a watch!
wc: 2.05k+
You were pretty young when you first met master getou. At the time you were too young to understand what was going on. You remembered your mother being on the verge of death but, master getou touched her once she suddenly felt better.
It put a mental image in your head. You were only seven but you knew briefly about religion and god, and at that moment you believed if there was really a god, he was standing right in front of you. With his black hair that at the time reached his mid-waist. And the gojo-kesa that made him look like a wise elder.
Your parents must have thought the same thing too because a few days later, you left to a place in the middle of nowhere where you saw your god again. This time with people who thought like you, who had similar experiences with master getou. Who worshipped and adored him.
Over the years, master getou got many more people to join his cult, New World, and you and your parents were as faithful as ever. You were a quiet girl in the cult. Recently turning 18, you noticed a few changes.
Like the new chores, you had involved being in master getous presence in rather vulnerable places. It did not help that whenever master getou was around you there would be something going on, down there, like throbbing or liquid. You always ignored this after all it was similar to something they said in studies.
They called it 'unholy urges' and to ignore it and pray whenever they came up, that they would disappear. It was easy to ignore it the first few times, but as you grew it became worse. Now you couldn't even look at master getou else it would start to hurt. Bad.
Sometimes during your master's teachings, you would rub your thighs together to stop the tingles, and even though you were told not to you touched your cunt but it only hurt more so you quickly stopped feeling the slit.
Little did you know, Getou knew. Ever since your breasts began to bounce every time you walked or when your ass would show a curve on your robe. Getou felt delight in teasing you, by making you assist him in the bath, or calling on you during teachings to come close to him and read the scriptures. He loved seeing your red face and your thighs rub each other.
Getou would send curses to molest you and make you have wet dreams or make you horny just to see you suffer because you didn't know how to touch yourself. He would watch you curl your toes and almost cry because of the pain as the curse would twist your tits or pull your clit.
One time after a teaching your cunt hurt so bad you felt like you were going to die. You blamed it on the evil spirits master getou always talked about. You prayed multiple times but the whole day it was aching and throbbing. You had to act fast. Master getou was getting ready to leave the cult house again. He would often go to the outside world to 'rid the world of evil' sometimes it took him months to come back, and you couldn't withstand this for another second.
You marched to master getous office although he said to not be disturbed.
There would be serious consequences if you were caught but you just needed to see him. You knew if you saw him he would make the pain go away.
Gentle knocks on the door. You almost jumped when you heard his voice. "I thought I said not to be disturbed." He spoke from the other end of the door causing a liquid to run down your thigh. "Master getou, please...I-I can't any longer"
Getou had a smirk on his face on the other side of the door, he'd waited for you to finally submit yourself to him, you took too long coming he thought you must have fought the desires off. But how could he forget you were still a weak naive slut who wants her master to touch her?
"Come in." He saw you walk through the door with the robe he made you wear whenever you were doing something for him. The short shirt that showed off much of your cleavage and waist with the long but side slit skirt that he could see everything from a certain angle.
You knelt and bowed at the door, your head and down as your skirt slowly slid revealing your thin black thong he gifted you.
"Master getou-... please, it hurts" Your tears pooled in your eyes as your voice cracked. "I'm begging you."
It took everything for Getou to not touch himself hearing you plead and beg. "Stand up and come." His voice was commanding.
You did as he said, head looking at the floor with both hands in front of you till you could see his feet. He was on the edge of a bed that was placed because sometimes he would sleep in his office. "Look at me."
You raised your head and looked him in the eye. You saw your shirtless master in pants only, even his hair was down. Your eyes betrayed you to stare at his chest and then the huge bulge coming out of his pants which made your eyes widen with curiosity on what was restrained down there.
"What did I say?" He used his hand to direct your eyes back to his. "Tell me again, what is your business here?"
"Master, I can't any longer. T-the curses they-... I need help." Getou was looking at you right now and there was no curse or anything on you. What you were feeling right now was purely you. Your desires, your needs. He resisted a smile and only sighed.
"Get on the bed and show it to me." Your eyes widened at the request but you did as he said. You couldn't believe you were on the bed your master slept on, if the cult found out about this you would be disgraced but if they knew he was the one who commanded it they would see you as his favourite and always make sure you were well made for presenting. They can't risk a filthy thing on the matsers bed.
You opened your legs and laid back moving your skirt out of the way without having to remove it. He saw how red and wet you were the was cum soaked in the panty and around your lips, he wondered how he would even touch you without overstimulating you.
He grabbed the string of your thong and pulled it up. You let out a loud sound at the ache before promptly covering your mouth. "Remove your hand and don't suppress your voice. I want to hear you."
"But what if, someone hears-" He gave a glare that made you shut up.
"Are you questioning me when I'm helping you?" You quickly apologise and shake your head.
He chuckled at your reaction and tore off your panties. Your cunt was clenching around the air exposed you could feel it twitch.
He stared at it for a while analysing the beauty. He opened your legs wider and slapped your cunt making you moan loudly.
He grazed his fingers along your bare pussy making you moan. By instinct, you started to rock your cunt to his fingers as he just held it in place.
He couldn't believe how much of a needy whore you are to be trying to get off by humping his fingers and how when he pulled away you groaned loudly. He wanted to see what would happen if he went further.
"What were you doing to acquire such a curse?" He asked you as if the feelings you were feeling weren't natural. And a result of you being so touch-starved.
He pulled you by the waist and aligned his face with yours, he first licked it to tease you, already tasting your juices and god you were so sweet. His tongue was skilled. Your cunt was already lubricated making it easier for him to abuse you. It did not take long for you to start squirming and moving around.
Your moans were music to his ears even though they kept getting muffled but your thighs enclosing his head. You ran your hand through his hair and he allowed it. It took everything you had to not shove his head away because he was just helping you out of the kindness of his heart.
He could have let you suffer but he agreed to help you and exorcise the curse that was in you. You guessed this was way worse than the evil spirit that made your mom sick because of the way he aggressively pushed his tongue in and out of you. You felt the vibrations of his grunts and he said words like. "Fucking sweet." and "Needy whore."
But you didn't know if it was to you or the curse or hell a technique. But you were thankful for his help even though it felt like you were doing something wrong.
Eventually, you felt like you needed to piss, and you didn't want to piss on his face but it was like he read your mind. "Hold it." He said before continuing to abuse your clit. This time he added a finger in your hole which made you moan louder.
"master nghh... I can't... It's gonna- mwaghhh~" Getou knows your virgin ass couldn't hold in an orgasm he wanted you to cum on his face, in fact, he got harder just thinking about it.
He just needed an excuse to put his dick in you, to take away your virginity. "MASTER!"
"I said hold it!" He inserted another finger and trusted it roughly while he thrusts his tongue in you. The stimulation was too much and you squirted all over his face. But it wasn't pee. It was a white-ish sticky substance.
"I-I'm sorry I-" He licks the cum of his lips and the outside of your cunt. "Turn over."
When you hesitated he took matters into his own hands turning you on your knees face down. You heard a zipper followed by the ruffling of pants.
"Master getou- what-" He stuck two fingers in your mouth tired of the questions. "Suck."
You did as he said and began to suck his fingers. You felt his hand stretch open your pussy. You heard a chuckle from him and him say something along the line of "It's gonna fucking hurt."
Getou aligned his tip to your pussy he inserted his tip and you moaned at the feeling confused at what he was using. He did it again but his time he trusted something huge inside.
You screamed as it hurt not the good hurt just hurt. You felt something trickling down your thigh. Getou smirked at the crimson that leaked from your hole. "Tell me when to continue." He said.
You didn't know what he meant by that but you started to feel a change instead of pain and violation you felt pleasure, intense pleasure.
"Aah~, master please continue." Getou didn't waste time and began roughly thrusting in and out of you. You felt your pussy clenching on him with each thrust. You felt guilty because you must have made things worse by squirting when he told you not to because now he was being more vocal. He said stuff like. "Fuck, tight bitch.", and "Stop fucking clenching" while also grunting a lot. It's not like you were any better. You were a loud mess.
He kept repeating the exorcism till you needed to pee again, this time he allowed you too before put a similar substance in your hole too. You felt him pull out and grab a cigarette his hand still on your ass.
Your eyes started to haze and you felt like shutting them. Getou noticed and gave you the go-ahead to rest on his bed. When you closed your eyes you immediately fell to sleep.
I was today years old when I was reminded that Sebastian held up rCiel’s still warm corpse before oCiel in a fucking crucifix pose.
…Oh no. This wasn’t gonna be analytical but I feel it bubbling up within me. Damn it.
The context of this scene was that Sebastian had just told oCiel / oCiel had just realized that he’d summoned a demon through sacrificing his brothers soul. He is immediately in denial of this, understandably, that was not his intention.
So what does Sebastian do? Forces him to gaze upon the dead body of the very soul he was summoned with. Putting him into that very specific pose.
He could have just held him up limply as we see in this part of the panel, but no. He raises rCiel’s arms to make a pose that quite literally symbolizes sacrifice.
Urrrgg make it stop.
I bet that Sebastian, having been summoned into a room full of English speaking white people, could easily deduce that he was in a country where the main religion is Christianity. And that, therefore, this (soon to be) new little master of his practiced that faith prior to the whole denouncing god thing.
I’d like to think that Sebastian, given that knowledge/assumption, chose to put rCiel in that pose very specifically. To take advantage of oCiel’s subconscious knowledge of its symbolism in order to emphasize that he was responsible for him being there. He was the one who sacrificed his brother, not the cult (In a sense).
Why? Cus he’s a fucking dick.
Now, if this scene had taken place BEFORE the reveal of rCiels bazar doll. I would be going on about how it was foreshadowing his resurrection. Cus, you know, rebirth of Christ. Maybe it still is? Alas…
A King Protects~ A DP crossover prompt
Wrote originally for an MHA crossover but can be used for other stuff - I apologize I wrote it at 3am, I did edit it in the morning (after waking up)
Over done but I love it. A cult broadcasting the summoning of their god who is a god amongst gods! This is a momentous occasion that the world should witness ofc so they broadcast it. In comes Danny in his Depression Sleep Wear™️ that he hasn’t changed out of in 3 days. “Duck off, I’m dead so let me sleep.” The cult starts with their monologues mean while Danny groans and starts to clean himself off. Summons a toothbrush and toothpaste. Summons a glass of water, rises and spits. The cult starts to trail off when he goes on with his routine. He uses spray deodorant and dry hair shampoo and finally summons and bowl and wash cloth to clean his face. For the last step the cult is completely quiet. When Danny’s done he snaps his fingers and suddenly he’s in his king regalia and looks the part of “The King of the Infinite” instead of a bed rotting teenage boy.
He looks around and sees that they thankfully didn’t use sacrifices and, from the lack of death in the air, they used their own blood to draw the circle, so hopefully talking will help them calm down and they won’t escalate in the future. He lifts an eyebrow and the cult falls to his feet and starts with their speech again, going on and asking for immortality to forever serve him. Danny: “Ahhh, so that’s what this is about. Look, true and honest immortality is impossible. Even I’m not immortal! I can live to see the birth and death of a universe without skipping through the timeline, more than once, and still not be truly immortal. What your asking for is impossible and a curse you will eventually want me to lift, so not actual immortality if I can lift it. A friend of mine would say, ‘all is as it should be’, so if you don’t naturally become immortal, in your sense of the word, that path is not meant for you. Immortality in MY sense is very different and you're lucky I don’t don’t do malicious compliance for these things.”
Heros bust into the scene, Danny defends the cultists. He starts saying that no sacrifices were involved and that unless some of the blood wasn’t acquired consensually or one of them had an active arrest warrant they shouldn’t be arrested. “Would you arrest little girls at a sleepover using a Ouiji board?” Heroes say that at the very least they broke into a warehouse and hacked into a broadcasting station
The cultists are arrested for taking over broadcasting channels and squatting at an abandoned warehouse. Danny makes sure the sentencing is fair and is acting like a lawyer for his summoners. This is a Danny who got the anti-ecto acts repealed, made sure it didn’t happen world wide, then went on to study law and politics in preparation to be king. Because the Heroes say what the cultists are being arrested for he finally realized he’s being broadcasted, asked where the camera is and turns to it.
Danny: “People of this world, ‘I am very small, and I have no money (law school was expensive) so you can imagine the stress I’m under’. You probably won’t understand the reference so understand this. Please don’t summon me, and if you have to, do it because you are in true danger. I’m a protector spirit. And Ancients please don’t use live OR DEAD sacrifices in my name.” And with that Danny opens up a portal and leaves but not before telling the officers and pros that he’ll check in on the cult members to see if they receive fair sentences or he’ll match their energy in the afterlife.
And that is how a new religion is created. The broadcast goes viral and alters are made for him. Many heroes [and hero students] pray to him even though Danny can’t receive prayers. King Phantom's summons spreads and just like he asked, he’s only summoned in emergencies.
~Now on to MHA stuff~
Hosu City being on fire is an emergency. Danny takes care of Stain and the Nomu. This pisses off the HPSC. They look bad and start labeling Phantom as a vigilante. The people (and most Heros) call bs and it just makes them [HPSC] look worse.
Eventually it comes to the HPSC summoning him to try and arrest him. Danny looks them in the face. Gets a pillow and blanket and starts to sleep in the middle of the air. The HPSC try everything to try and wake him up or move him into a jail cell but they can’t touch him, his blanket or his pillow. Eventually they just build a cage around him. Danny wakes up 24 hours later. Yawns and phases out of the “cage” and heads to the closest gym to take a proper shower this time, invisibly of course. To piss off the HPSC, he drops the invisibility in the middle of a street cameras view and decides to wander around and do some exploring. Que him ending up in a residential area with what looks like expensive houses. This is how he runs into Eri’s rescue mission. He overhears the situation and decides to help out, he doesn’t interfere until he blocks Mirio about to get hit with the quirk erasing bullet. Danny asks how Overhaul could do this to his own daughter. “Wait- did you adopt her?! There’s no blood relation between the two of you! That’s fucked up man. Give me the name of the agency, Ima sue. Your name was Eri right? You’ve been blessed with some form of time manipulation if I’m sensing it correctly. I can practically taste it off of you, I know someone who can help to control it!”
Danny helps save Eri and he helps with her recovery since her quirk doesn’t work on him thanks to the time medallion practically fused to his core.
Danny asks if the government actually wants to arrest him and if it was just a prank cause he will pull out the diplomatic immunity card considering he IS a king. Eventually, the HPSC gives up, gives him a hero license, and lets him take Eri for lessons with CW, but she’s still in Eraserhead's custody since he’s not old enough. “Have I mentioned I am a father-mother of two?” “Excuse me? I thought you said that you were chronological 17!?” “I am! What does that have to do with anything?” His kids, of course, include a girl who looks like a slightly younger him with just a little too much manic in her eyes and a demon-looking man who is twice the boy's size and built like a tank. Aizawa sees them appear at the lanky boy's side as if the very mention of them was enough to summon them. “I’m not paid enough for what I do.”
