I saw someone describe him as someone who has invented the "Most Normal Guy" award and is trying his best to win it, and that description is very accurate. He has a magic lie detector bracelet. He shouts a lot to train his "chords of steel". Everyone thinks he's a teenager when he's actually 22. He punched Phoenix Wright in the face once. The detective on most of his cases throws her snacks at him. His best friend is a 15 year old who is actually his sister but neither of them know this. He has at least three backstories that don't TECHNICALLY contradict each other but you can tell they were all made up on the spot. After his three backstories he decided to become a lawyer for some reason. And despite it all, he's STILL the most normal person in the entire series. Nobody is doing it like him.

PURSUIT ISAGI IS SM FUN I LOVE HIS CHARACTERIZATION because honestly he definitely thinks that he should be stepping into barou’s role as his best friend but he has zero idea how to do so meanwhile karasu does it so naturally (in this au i fucked w everyone’s ages so isagi and barou are a couple years older than karasu and are the same age as yayoi if i didn’t say that already) which is just another punch in yoichi “inferiority complex” isagi’s gut…eventually he does end up being kind of a cool older cousin/sibling to reader but it takes him a lot of effort to get to that point 😕 and for the love triangle i was lowkey think that yayoi would actually have originally liked isagi but isagi never pursued her (given that he thought she liked barou) so he kinda pushed her towards barou and she ended up falling INSANELY in love w barou (who wouldn’t) but that way the possible eventual yayosagi isn’t just her settling it’s her being like look i always liked you and maybe i still might but i have a lot of trauma from barou’s abandonment/death and isagi’s like yo me too let’s just be friends again and see where things go KDFHSKJDSMJDJS i lowkey love them as a trio and the relationships/duos within that trio honestly this is a version of isagi i would actually enjoy writing (ofc i’d have to braid in more of his canon characterization but this is a fun foundation to me)

ring 1: the classics! you can’t beat them. …well you can, but-

tos gave me my first grinding lite experience, tots tormented me for multiple months, tok was the first kinda creative tower i played, also why is tos challenging now. anyway. your first experiences. basically none of these are really good, aside from cols cols is SO GOOD, but they aren’t the bane of my experience & they are straight up nostalgic.

tor hot take: only like 2-4 & 10 obv is bad, the rest of the floors are okay to good. ngl kinda overhated.

toie cold take: TOIE GOOD!!!!!! very cool. just a good tower, not very special. though The Nostalgia…. also f9 was a bad idea for a big part of it ngl

also i’ve only played tt a little bit (no scs, not an eo, sorry)

ring 2: it’s ring 2. what do you want me to say. anyway a good portion of these towers were actively painful. though TODD DESERVES MORE LOVE!! FEELS LIKE A CITADEL, IS AS CREATIVE AS ONE, THIS MAY BE HINDSIGHT BUT IT IS COOL !!!!! tobh is good obv. tops :)
