I Can Handle Iced Coffee

Bucky Barnes was the best cop in the New York City area. Hands down. Not just because he had a menacing-looking metal arm that glinted in yellow streetlamps at night when he got guys money laundering or a trade-off of drugs.

What they didn’t know was that Bucky Barnes was also the goddamned softest nerd. He ate something he cooked for dinner each night, usually something with chicken in it because it was the cheapest option at the grocery store. He listened to old swing music sometimes.

And he always came to a coffee shop off of the precinct where there were soft lights, purple accents, and quite a cute barista/manager. His name was Bruce. He had curly hair, light stubble, and big glasses sometimes.

Bucky came in every day because Bruce made the best damned iced coffee in the area. The fact that he also knew Bucky by name and had his coffee ready to go was only a bonus.

So yeah. Sure. Bucky thought that Bruce was cute. And he basically went to the coffee shop and tipped two dollars every day on a three dollar drink. Because that’s just nice.

Bruce always sees Bucky Barnes every single morning at seven sharp. His shirt is pristine, ironed to a crisp. Hat at a jilted angle, and god Bruce thought he’d never like seeing a man in a uniform. But Bucky was a different sort of man. He was a cute man, and that made a world of a difference.

He always put Bruce in a good mood. He would smile, put two dollars neatly folded into the tip jar that Thor had decorated with very intricate paper flowers. “Wednesday night shifts are completely dead,” he said with a shrug when asked about it. “Besides, your guy will appreciate the decoration.”

Bucky does. He compliments it. Bruce shoves his glasses up the bridge of his nose and hands him his iced coffee. Val says that if Bruce really wants to up his ante, he can start giving Bucky a free iced coffee, but Bruce thinks that may be a bit too forward.

“You’re such a nerd,” Val says, bopping Bruce on the nose. “Good thing I’m around. I’ll get you the date.”

“Val NO!” Bruce yells. “Nope, not doing that.”

“Oh come on. He comes in with his uniform all neat and his hat at an angle, and he gets you all hot and bothered under the apron. It’s natural. Just didn’t know you had a type. Good thing Thor cut his hair.”

“I could still get Bruce to fall for me with this hair, it’s cool,” Thor brags.

“No you couldn’t,” Val said. “You look stupid.”

“Shut up or I’ll take your tips when you forget them because a cute customer flustered you to the point of uselessness.”

“Shut up, she was hotter than you’ll ever be.”

“And yet you didn’t get her number. Interesting.”

“Both of you get to work,” Bruce says. “I’m not staying half an hour late because you forgot to clean out the machines. Let’s go.” Thor and Val grin at each other as they move around the shop, finding work to do and taking orders.

Bucky thinks he needs better friends. Sam and Natasha are assholes about it. Steve keeps mentioning it when there’s no need to do so. They’re supposed to be investigating a robbery but no, they just have to mention Bruce every five seconds.

“This is, like, the first crush you’ve had since the Cold War,” Natasha teases. “What’s his name?”

“Not telling you.”

“Why not? Afraid I’ll steal his heart?” Sam says. “Because I could.”

“Your face looks like a sack of bird seed, grainy and only old people buy it. Fuck off.”

“We just wanna know about the barista at your coffee shop that you refuse to tell anyone about,” Steve says. “All I know is that his name begins with a ‘B’ and you like the iced coffee he makes.”

“Barnes, it’s like forty degrees outside.”

“I’m not a weak bitch Wilson, I can handle my ice. Can you?” Sam just laughs and rolls his eyes. Natasha is already on her phone.

“Bruce Banner?” His shoulders stiffen. Damn him. Natasha crows in delight as she pumps her fist. “Knew it. Looks your type. Soft guy, geeky glasses. Probably makes science puns.”

“If you try to meet him, I will end you.”

“I won’t. I’m just going to watch him from a table menacingly until one of the employees asks me to leave.”

“Val will kick your ass. Look her up next.”

“...holy shit. Abort mission.”

Bucky sighs. His friends are...interesting. He hates that they’re so invested in his love life.

Bucky Barnes comes in full dress. He says there’s a ceremony. “My squad caught some thief ring,” he says. “Not a big deal as they make it out to be.”

“Awfully fancy dress for not a big deal,” Bruce says. “Congratulations. Iced coffee. On the house. For you. Um. No charge.”

Bruce sometimes hates himself. Mainly because he can’t act normally around anyone besides maybe Tony, Thor, or Valkyrie. Sometimes Pepper.

Bucky gives him a smile. And Bruce knows it’s all over. Full-blown crush on cute police guy. He’s going to die.

“You gave him free coffee,” Val says. “That’s a plus.”

“I’m going to die,” Bruce says. “I’ve accepted it. Tell Sharon she’ll have to make the schedules from now on.”

Bucky walks in with his free coffee and a big grin.

“I got free coffee.”

“Where from?” Natasha demands. “Who can I get it from?”

“Not from where I got it.”

“Oh my god, Bruce gave you free coffee?”

“For the event. That we’re all in.” Natasha grins.

“Look at you nerds. Trying to interact and shit. It’s cute.” Bucky shrugs.

He accepts the medal. His picture gets in the paper. (Bruce doesn’t Buy The Newspaper to Stare at the Picture. That is Stupid and Not Backed Up with Facts.)

“I liked the article,” Bruce says softly the next morning. Bucky nods.

“They got my good side in that one,” Bucky says. “But you know what else I’d like?”

“He wants your number!” Thor cuts in. “Sorry, I just ruined that. Oops. Oh well. You’ll get over it, because you’re finally getting Policeman’s number.” Bruce sighs and rubs his eyes. Bucky grins as he hands his phone to Bruce.

“You really do want my number?” Bruce asks.

“How else am I gonna talk to you about something other than work or coffee?” Bucky responds with a soft smile. Bruce smiles to himself as soon as he sees him leave the coffee shop, looking down at his phone.

Hey, it’s me from...two seconds ago. I’m wondering if it’s too soon to schedule a date. You free Sunday night?

I’m free that day.

Score.

They’re both nerds. Bucky cooks chicken for their first “at-home date.” He burns it, curses up a storm, and Bruce laughs so hard he nearly chokes on water. They can’t even stop laughing to call for takeout food, so they’re on the floor laughing.

Bucky wakes up every morning to a good morning kiss from Bruce as he heads out the door to open. Bucky greets him in the shop with a kiss on the lips and two dollars in tips.

It’s quite nice.

2 - Least favourite show? Already answered! (Its object terror) 3 - Underrated show? LEGENDARY ADVENTURES FOREVER ^^ Short so far, but REALLY funny stuff in that show. Some of the jokes can fall a Little Flat to me but its never anything bad LOL. GOT SOME RLY FUN CHARACTERS TOO If u have a bit of time to watch an object show Id say watch this one. Partially cuz of my Next Point (Honorable mention: ACTOE) 7 - Underrated character? Snowy LAF <3 I feel like a lotta ppl I know would like this guy. I tend to be Biased towards short high pitched voice Guys anyway (also hes gay. Like canonically. Just wanted to mention this cuz Its a Win For Me) 13 - How many characters do you think should be in an object show ideally? Something between 10 and 20 usually seems Fine to me. Anything above that kinda Crunches my brain unless Its a case like BFDI where its More Over Time Over Years but thats . Really just an exception to the rule TBH 14 - What do you care about most in an object show? Simple Answer probably but I wanna be able to tell that ppl are just Having fun and putting passion into their shows. Everything else I can Give Or take. Object shows are really just passion projects between very few ppl and should be treated as such I feel like memorable character designs could be pretty important too, this can be Tricky sometimes cuz No One Owes An Object but theres many ways to make em stick out from another Same object 16 - A show/character you love that everyone else hates? Both the show and fanbase treat him SO bad for no good reason (Him being mean after everyone bullied him is justified imo). Just two designs I quite Like cuz I cant think of other ones rn Mace the Merciless (Paper puppets take 2) cuz Im gay Love Lock (The Almost Valentinesly Object Show) cuz Im Gay AND I like the little lock mouth :) Also honorable mention: Loser <3 36 - Favourite scene? I could use one with one of my faves/fave ships but thats TOO EASY . So Ill mention the pin and coiny Pep Talk scene in bfb 6 cuz It makes me EMOTIONALLLL theyre the sweetest ever. Im sure theres other ones I like a Lot but this one just sticks with me the most 38 - Favourite rarepair? LEAFPIEEEE Leafy and Pie is a complete Crack Ship AND ALSO SNOWFRIES but both work GREAT imo. One Punch Man ship reviews bc I’m bored

WARNING: BIG ONE PUNCH MAN WEBCOMIC AND MANGA SPOILERS

GenoSai: do I even have to say it?? They compliment each other so well and are already besties. They make me so happy and I love their love. Genos literally came into Saitama’s life and brought so much new life and excitement when Saitama thought he’d never get any. Genos gives him love and appreciation all the time and never abandons him. Saitama isn’t connected to his feelings, but he cares about Genos and would do just about anything for him, to keep him safe. Genos constantly teases Saitama and Saitama grumbles and takes it with some banter, Genos is super emotional and Saitama does his best to comfort him, they fucking love shopping together and just hanging out period, they talk about the dumbest shit and somehow they still understand each other with the one brain cell they both share. It takes Genos forever to realize his feelings are deeper and Saitama has to be TOLD by their friends that he should fucking realize his feelings already. Just...I could keep going but I’ll stop! 2718873737839439/10 (let’s not talk about the age gap btw, 6 years isn’t bad and Genos is a legal adult.)

FubuSai: the stereotypical straight ship ppl gravitate to. Eh. I can see it, but at the same time I feel like they don’t completely compliment each other. Are they a hot couple? Duh. But I feel like their pride and communication issues would get in the way. 4/10

TatsuSai: hnghhhh. Someone mentioned this before, can’t remember who, but Saitama literally thinks she’s a child in canon. So that just....makes it gross. Same problems as FubuSai but worse. I’d rather see them as hesitant friends w a weird bond. 0/10

SonSai/SonicSai/idk the ship name: eh, toxic. Cant see them getting past communication issues and pride, again. Plus Sonic wants to kill his ass. Also, I just feel no romantic tension?? Even in fanfic it just falls flat for me. 3/10

MumenSai: a favorite!! Wish I saw it more, it’s very cute. Mumen is so kind and would absolutely be there to help him w self esteem and just help him be a better person period. And Saitama would have a cute little kind guy to tease and open up to. I could maybe see Mumen’s kindness getting on Saitama’s nerves when he’s in a bad mood bc Mumen almost never snaps and Saitama feels shittier, or maybe Mumen being mad at Saitama for being kinda lazy at home while Mumen is working his ass off and he’s like babe I just got home, please stop playing the fucking game and pay attention to me I have a concussion again. Prob too nitpicky on this one, heh, but 8.4/10

Genos x Sonic: wtf? As a crack ship, sure. That’s hilarious. But as a serious ship, 1.3/10 bc I could MAYBE see them bond over their love of my chemical romance or sum.

Anyone x Puri: -128382839287473828739219833468282/10. Fuck Puri.

TatsuKing: eh. Indifferent on this one too. I can see them getting along and Tatsu being the mean but supportive gf in public, but a sweet gf in private. King could be like her calm oasis of video games and sweet blonde shy bf. I sway more towards ace/aro King and queer non binary Tatsu, but this is still good. 6/10

FubuPsy/Fubuki x Psykos/idk: hell yeah!! This series NEEDS more wlw ships, both for me to project onto and to cry over. Prob my fav Fubuki ship, cuz they’ve known each other since they were young and had a tenuous friendship. I didn’t use to ship it until I saw that scene in the wc after the MA arc (u know the one) but here we are. They’re big personalities so any interaction is bound to be chaotic at first, but I really think they’d work. Pride put to the side, Psykos could be someone for Fubuki to finally rely on other than the Blizzard Bunch, someone to confide in, a badass partner to fight monsters with, talk about nothing for hours with, be a super fashionable #girlboss couple with, and someone who would really see her for who she is-especially w Psykos knowledge of her from the past. Hell, Psykos might even know her better than Tatsumaki. Fubuki could be an anchor to her like she currently is in the wc, providing a quiet comfort and making her open up little by little. Would prob be toxic at first bc of the MA arc and their desire for power, but is a very good ship I think. 9/10

Speedal/Sonic x Mumen: an old fav! Sonic would have a hard time not hating Mumen at first bc he’s the picture definition of a hero, sum he hates. But hanging out with him would show him Mumen is a GOOD guy genuinely and he’d be like ohhhh shit I’m in love w this man. Mumen would thoroughly appreciate someone to make him live a little, break some rules and stand up to ppl when they talk over him. He’d DEFINITELY be upset when finding out Sonic is an assassin, but would prob be conflicted bc he knows Sonic is a good person despite that. Would prob make Sonic give up on killing for them to be together. Sucks bc of the assassin thing and bc they haven’t met in canon! So we’re not sure how they’d interact with each other, sigh. 7.4/10

Okamaitachi x Bushidrill: a very underrated ship! To be clear, I headcanon Kama as a trans woman and so does most of the fandom. Anyway, very sweet and already built as a friendship bc of their partnership under Atomic Samurai. I can’t remember who writes fic and makes art of them on tumblr but AAAAA it’s so good! Very sweet. Basically depicted Bushi as a nervous himbo who’s honest about his feelings but scared to say them and Kama as a sweet lady who’s crazy about Bushi. Very sweet. Want more of them!! 6.1/10

OneZon/Zombieman x One Shotter: never even thought of the ship till I saw @megidolan art work! Very wholesome, and from what little we know of Shotter we know he’s a sort of nervous yet strong willed guy, and Zombieman would totally help him calm down bc he’s so chill. I could see them sharing cigarettes and talking shit on heroes while cuddling u know? 7/10 only because I don’t see enough of it but very good concept.

Mumarou/Mumen x Garou: a lot of ppl are gonna hate me for this but....I don’t like it. I’ve tried! I just—idk. I’ve read so many good fics about them that make me like it a bit, but the concept is just eh. I think their relationship is, in most reps, really cliche angsty stuff. I wish I could elaborate I just...gah! Basically, there’s better ships for the both of them imo. Sorry!! 4.3/10

Sonic x Flashy/SonFlash: yes!! Prob my fav Sonic ship. They have soooo much tension, it’s almost worse than Genos’ tension w Saitama. Flashy LITERALLY poisoned Sonic so that he wouldn’t be forced to kill him at the ninja graduation. He cares. They’ll never say it out loud, but they care. They have someone who understands what they went through in each other and someone they’re both so similar to, yet so different from. Sonic is more vocal about his expressions and let’s people know it while Flashy often keeps things to himself, they could really influence the other to be more this or that. I could see a lot of comfort with these two, and not much is needed for relationship development; they already have so much unspoken between them after meeting for the first time in years. Love it. Wish I saw it more! 10/11

KingSai: wonderful! Out of the few ppl Saitama is close to, def my second fav pick for a ship for him. There’s a post saying how Saitama doesn’t cut King off when he’s going on rants about games and stuff bc he’s talking TO Saitama, not at him like Genos tends to do on accident. They’re already great buddies! Saitama could find a shy gamer man who he can talk to about manga and stuff and also a passionate bf who could break out of his shell w Saitama and be himself with no lies. King can have someone to protect him, duh, someone who finally understands his weird sense of humor, and someone to shower him in the love and kindness he deserves when Saitama is in the mood to be all out like that w his affections. Plus he’s Saitama’s anchor and brings him back down when he’s super anxious and depressed and tells him what’s up that he needs to fix without sugarcoating it. Would def have a bunch of inside jokes and go on dates that are just staying inside playing video games all night. Domestic af. 10/10

Fubuki x Mizuki: my first wlw Fubuki ship! Hard to find but very good. Mizuki is this big ball of kindness, energy, and raw power that would make Fubuki go ‘Ohhhhhhh, big pretty lady make brain go brrr.’ I could see Mizuki grounding Fubuki when she’s in over her head, giving her random gifts bc she saw sum and thought of her, doing a marathon run and wildly waving at Fubuki in the crowd, and all around being a dependable woman confident in herself and in love with a mysterious esper. Prob a little shy when it comes to anything physical bc she loves Fubuki so much and is overwhelmed by the realness of being w her. Fubuki gives Mizuki advice on ‘acting like a proper hero’ or whatever and though Mizuki thinks she doesn’t need it, Fubuki still helps her a lot w her career and being taken more seriously by others. Would give Mizuki someone who loves her for who she is and would go wild on her in private when she can be open about her affection, would be someone Mizuki could exercise with and listen intently to Mizuki’s physical knowledge, and would absolutely bandage her when she’s all banged up. Hnghh love this ship. It’s only behind the FubuPsy ship juuuuust a little bc they haven’t met in canon so we can’t be sure about their interactions and stuff. 8.8/10, I love WOMEN

Batarou: how could I go this far without mentioning them?! They have SOOOO much tension in the centichoro fight, like come on. Both snarky assholes who are huge softies one the inside, Badd being the more logical one (still a himbo, tho) and Garou being the more chaotic one. Probably take forever to admit their feelings bc they’re so prideful and stupid <3 flirt through constant wrestling matches and it takes Genos saying ‘they should kiss already, they’re getting on his nerves’ for them to finally realize what’s up. (@rayadraws has a great au where Garou Genos and Badd are a chaotic friend squad and Genos is the only brain of the group, haha. Very good au y’all check it out!) Would constantly pick on each other affectionately and switch into concerned SO when the other is hurt like the big teddy bears they are. Raise Zenko together for sure. Garou would fumble being romantic and Badd would find it both hilarious and cute. 11/12

Zombie mask/Amai x Zombieman:

So. I don’t like Amai Mask and I used to hate him, BUT the webcomic and fic have really helped me calm down on him (he’s still a dick tho), so it’s easier to want to ship him and stuff. Bc of Amai’s anger issues and controlling behavior, I could see this relationship being super toxic and icky—but I think they have some form of understanding that pulls Amai back from being a complete dick, you know? Start off as fuck buddies and slowly form something else from spending companionable time together other than screwing. Zombieman pulls Amai back from his angry fits and soothes him over with his logic. Talk maaaaaad shit about heroes, but only when they’re alone because Zombieman knows Amai will talk loud af about the heroes they’re roasting and Zombie doesn’t wanna stop a fight from happening. Zombieman loves making Amai flustered and has a secret check list in his head of all the things that get Amai red faced. Loves to listen to Amai rant about things for hours and loves to watch his face go through almost cartoon like expressions as he talks. He won’t admit it, but Zombie loves to be spoiled by Amai’s shit tons of cash and often takes rides in Amai’s limos when he wants to smoke and think to himself. Amai has a hard time realizing how his feelings have changed, but gets hit hard with it when he wakes up to Zombie making them breakfast one morning while wearing Amai’s underwear. Amai also loves to spoil Zombie and takes him out to restaurants and buys him cool new weapons on the weekends. @batneko has pretty much gotten me into this ship and I strongly suggest looking at their works! 7.9/10

DemonKnight/Genos x Zero/Drive Knight: I’m pretty sure this used to be a crack ship before the past like 10 manga chapters—and now here we are! Not a fav bc 1. ZERO LEFT GENOS TO SELF DESTRUCT AFTER THEY COMBINED TO FORM THE FUCKING JET HE WAS JUST LIKE lol bye SO LIKE if he left him to die that’s super hard for me to forgive and ship grrr 2. Disregarding the manga’s canon and looking at the wc, while I love the little trip they went on where Zero demonstrated his abilities and helped Genos kill monsters, it’s super sus. He knew alllll of this info on Metal Knight and was super supportive and understanding when Genos said he needed time to think. Like,,,what are his intentions? We know so little about him—is he trying to trick Genos or was he being sincere? THAT STUFF ASIDE, they’re a really fun ship. They’re both huge fucking nerds and can keep up with their talk on robotics for hours, they’re both cyborgs so they understand each other’s pain, and they’re both super cool and angsty. I think they could really settle into a deep bond that can go platonic or romantic, just depends. Genos needs more ppl in his life so hell yeah! Plus, he can really let go with Zero bc they don’t have that teacher/student relationship and Zero, if he’s really a sincere and kind guy like in the wc, can be there for Genos and listen to him. Don’t have much to say on this ship other than @wellthisisembarrassing makes GORGEOUS art of them! 6.3/10

Webuiko/Suiko x Webigaza: YEAH I KNOW THEY HAVENT INTERACTED IN CANON AND WE DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM BUT HEAR ME OUT. Webigaza—cool af determined cyborg idol who’s surprisingly down to earth when talking with Child Emperor. Suiko—sassy and honest fighter who doesn’t take shit and is very passionate. Suiko would go to talk to Web then immediately freak out bc aaaa she’s way prettier than she thought, she can’t do this! Web would have to gently encourage Suiko to talk and at first is like ‘ah man, must be an adoring fan, ugh I’m so tired. At least she’s hot’ but when Suiko snaps out of her shyness Web is like oh! She’s super cool wtf. Always bump into each other during fights and help each other get fixed up, Suiko using her muscle power to lift Web’s pieces (and give Web a great view of Suiko’s muscles holy SHIT) and Web would patch Suiko up. Not to be stereotypical, but they’re def a masc/femme couple. I love the idea of this ship soooo much and I really hope they interact! 6.6/10 only bc they haven’t met 😭😭😭 look them up on here! There’s some great art of them by a few blogs

Dr. Kuseno x Bang: pretty sure @baldyborg came up with this one! Super cute. Just two old dudes finding a nice friendship in each other, maybe after Bang helps carry Genos to Kuseno’s after a day of fighting. Bang would find Kuseno to be a very cute little nerd man and would be sooo impressed by Kuseno’s mad scientist skills. Kuseno would be super impressed when seeing Bang in action too. They’d prob talk as soon as they meet each other and Genos would be in the background like you guys it’s been an hour, please fix me I’m on the verge of death 🧍🏻Bang would give Kuseno advice on training techniques to teach Genos and advice on making his bodies more martial arts ready or sum, meanwhile Kuseno would give his take on how to be kinder to Garou so that Bang would learn to repair the relationship with a gentleness he’s seemingly lacking (yes I’m talking about the chapter where he and Garou start fighting and Bang is just not doing enough to reach out to Garou, he’s being a callous old man! So yeah I’m still mad about that). Genos and Saitama would prob be out on a date and Saitama would be like oh theres Bang, wonder what he’s doing? Then Kuseno would walk up and kiss Bang and Genos and Sai would be shocked like SIRS 👬 Genos would tell Bang he doesn’t need another adoptive dad and Bang would be like....ok.... I see them retiring in a cottage together and Bang would become a huge softie. Yes I’m actively ignoring chapter 141 of the wc, shut up. 7.6/10

TankTop master x Mumen: they have a nice friendship going on in the manga right now! Just bros supporting bros. Tank is the picture definition of a muscly himbo and Mumen is his cute passionate bf. Also workout buddies af!! Don’t have much to say other than pretty good ship, just not a fav. 5.2/10

To sum it up—

Have you received anon hate? What about?* I've avoided it so far, somehow. With the kind of shit I post for SPN these days however I'm sure my days are numbered.

Most disliked character(s)? Why? Everyone in this show is an absolute asshole (bar Cameron and Kutner and maybe Cuddy) and I love them all. I couldn't say I dislike anyone.

Most disliked arc? Why? House crashing his car into Cuddy's home and then the next few episodes telling us why we should feel sorry for House. Plus it was so out of character. That ruined the show a little for me, but then the cancer arc made up for it.

Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? I don't think he's unpopular as such but my soft spot for Chase has been challenged on a couple of occasions. I get it, he's awful. But he's also baby and I can't not love him.

Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? Hmm don't think so. My favourites are the Tritter and the Dibala arcs and they're pretty popular to my knowledge.

Unpopular opinion about XXX character? Cuddy deserved so much better.

What do you think about ships like Aoi × Kyoko, Aoi × Sayaka, Celeste × Aoi? Imho they r so underrated...

I am always in for giving Aoi a gf!!!!

Well first of all, Aoi x Kyoko has the post canon potential. If u follow me you know that I would die for sunshine x stoic ships and Kirihina is exactly that!!! Of course the post canon version of it wouldn't be as simple since Aoi has her fair share of losses now but the more complex a ship is, the better, right? Anyways I love them, let them be happy. Also anyone else remember how angry Aoi was at Makoto because Kyoko was angry at him and she thought he hurt her by being too aggressive?? Anyone else??? I wish we had more content of them, both canon and fandom.

Aoi x Sayaka aaaaaaaa so cute!!! Aoi also probably has worked super hard for her swimming passion and she knows how precious someone's dreams can be. I think she has a good chance of understanding Sayaka more so than most of the cast. Swimming is her passion and being an idol is Sayaka's. They both were pretty restless about not being able to perform these (remember how Aoi was SO relieved and happy that there was a swimming pool?) These two would support each other SO much y'all.

Celeste x Aoi, I never thought about this but I think it would be so cute!!! Celeste is this confident girl and I feel like she could make Aoi flustered easily and find her cute! Aoi is not the brightest but she has a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to people and a lot of dedication which I think Celeste would find endearing. Also Aoi is so sincere that she probably would be one of the first people to crack Celeste's French persona.

How strictly do you follow canon? —I try my best! I am still not really caught up on bleach. I stopped reading/watching after the Winter War, so I’m literally winging it with any other developments and posts. I am living my life with spoilers~!

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — Hiyori has a very pure mind. Pure in the sense that she’s as straight as an arrow. What you see is what you get. She speaks/blurts out everything she feels. And if she doesn’t say it, you can still see it. Every emotion is written straight on her face. She could never really make a good liar and to that end-- if she is your friend, you know she’s really your friend. She’s the type that’ll treat your life as more valuable than her own. She’ll do everything in her power to protect you. Even if you are losing your mind or your sense of self, she will never stop being your friend. Loyal and comically tsundere at times, it’s almost like whiplash keeping up with her topsy-turvy emotions. But if you can, you will definitely be rewarded with someone strong, fearless and unflinchingly loyal at your side. Someone who will fight all your battles for you, no matter how impossible the odds appear.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — I think most people agree that she is very violent. She hits people and her friends that do not actually deserve it. She never uses proportional force and it’s obvious that she has a multitude of issues that she has but never bothers to fix. She’s reliant on her friends to make her appear better than she is, because on her own, she would just be a violent goblin. But with her friends, she’s actually Hiyori. So in a sense, Hiyori has no actual sense of self without other people’s loyalty to her.

In addition, she’s not at all traditionally attractive like a normal bleach female. She’s mean and ugly and angry and easily triggered and most of the fandom think it was a cop-out to have her survive her bifurcation.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — Uhm... I always wanted to rp one of the visored. I loved their story the most- outcasts among the shinigami, hollow and humans. They were outsiders and their story feels the saddest to me. They are victims of a crime and yet, they do not behave like typical victims. They are all so vibrant (sorta!) and I love that about them. I also wanted to pick up a character that was uhh... violent? XD I have never written someone who was the complete opposite of me. I suppose it was to challenge myself. To rp someone who is always controversial and yet, still retain interactions.

What keeps your inspiration going? — I’ve really grown to adore Hiyori over the past year of rping her. I’ve always loved shiyori and have also managed to develop an amazing ship with @hirako5hinji and I love all their threads. I keep having so many new ideas and AUs for these two that I wish there were more hours in the day! I also love to develop different friendships with Hiyori. Her interactions with people that are shinigami, human and hollow- and how she perceives them in her mind with her blatant prejudice verses her actual nature of wanting connections... it’s such a good balancing act. ;u;

It always makes me think and explore more cracks and crevices about my character and her feelings regarding such issues. I also love questions that eventually lead to a new headcanon for my character too! c:

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — Yeah, I love talking about Hiyori. Even if you’re disagreeing with me, I’ll love to hear it! TALK TO ME ;u;

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — Uhm... not sure? I think if they don’t like it then I hope they can unfollow me! I don’t want them to think this is wildly ooc and ruining the characterisation of Hiyori for them. ; - ; I would feel a little bad, but not bad enough to change my portrayal completely. Everyone has their own interpretation of a character and not everyone will have the same views or thoughts on it.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — Most people don’t really like Hiyori anyway so I’m chill as long as I got interactions. xD

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — Yes. Lol, I rush when writing and uhm, I’m the type that rarely edits my work until AFTER I post it. Both mun and muse are reckless and charge in blind then realise the damage after the thing has been done. orz

Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — Yeah. I have no energy to develop any conflicts with anyone lmao! I just love to rp and I actually enjoy reading nearly everyone’s threads. I wish I had the time to go through the entire dash and read every interaction, but now I limit my reading of the dash to when I’m online or if I love a thread and follow the replies. : > I love rping and I hope you guys have as much fun as me!!

Most underrated ship? Uuuhmm honestly, scouring all the fandoms I’m in unfortunately I’m a fan of most of the popular ships (with a few exceptions ofc). I don’t rlly give the idea of a ship being ‘underrated’ I guess bc in my mind it’s canon. I do not headcanon I just know and perceive the truth baby.

As for ranting abt one of my favorite ships—

You are coming down with me/ Hand in unlovable hand

Strap tf in because this includes some of my own personal meta.

+ Tyler was the one who persued Elidibus from the Waking Sands into the caves, and she was the one who confronted him. So she got to hear his ‘i hope we can be friends :)’ speech so when he tells her ‘at duty’s end, we will meet again’ she says ��I hope so.” And he recognizes her voice from before the Sundering.

+ Tyler is the sundered form of Cassandra of Amaurot, one of Azem’s students and a close personal friend to Elidibus once they were introduced (mostly at Azem’s behest since she wanted Elidibus to have a friend his age). Cass is the definition of the extrovert who sees an introvert and decides that they’re friends.

+ Sometimes he talks to her during HW/SB/SHB. Their conversations tend to be tense as hell, but she keeps talking to him anyways.

+ After the solo duty fight, it basically ends with Tyler on top of him asking him what the hell is his problem and that she thought he was smarter than this and they have this super intense conversation with their faces inches apart and Y’shtola is like. There. I guess.

+ I love the tragedy of them being in love. The fact that he so greatly admired who the WoL was and then having this downward spiral of desperation. Yeah. I love that. He literally cracks under the weight of his own expectations his own grief and it’s very very delicious.

+ “You have no fight left to fight. It’s over, you can rest.”

+ Tyler understands why we have to defeat Elidibus but did she hate it? Yes. Was she also perfectly fine with it? Yes he deserves to be defeated. She had a lot of conflicting feelings about SoS because of her weird feelings for him, even though she knew he needed to be stopped.

+ “I know I can’t— I couldn’t talk him down, I’m not an idiot. This isn’t a romance novel. Just let me be sad. I’ll be fine.”

+ I love tragedy.

+ I’m also writing a fix-it fic because I can weather any pain as long as it has meaning.

This is actually a tough question. I’d say the longest I’ve been in a fandom has been since 2013 in Tekken and a little longer in the Sonic the Hedgehog fandoms.

It’s gotta be from tv shows, books, and movies to a certain extent. TV shows are pretty much right there and aren’t really sourced anywhere else like they’re gonna be put into a book you know? But if it’s under a circumstance like books getting adapted into movies, then you gotta stick with the text most of the time because a lot of movies usually stray away from the source from the book and turn into something completely different.

Jacqui Briggs from Mortal Kombat: Listen, I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER WHEN I SAW HER OKAY??? SUE ME. She’s such a BEAUTIFUL character! She’s literally the daughter of an OG character and she just wants to join the military to keep Earthrealm safe and keep her dad safe. Not only is she a fun, witty character, she looks like me. I love her because she looks like me. And on top of that, she actually has a great best friend and has a canon non-white love interest! HE LITERALLY CALLED HER BEAUTIFUL IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE WHEN SHE THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA GO BLIND AFTER ACID WAS SPAT IN HIS FACE! I’m super protective over her because of the blatant racism and misogynoir she faces from the fandom. I’ve seen people make her super OOC in fanfics just so that they can ship Takeda with Cassie, Jin, or somebody else and just state that she’s asexual just because. Now, Jacqui being asexual isn’t a problem. The problem was that people straight up labeled her as that all because she’s black and isn’t supposed to have a love interest because “she don’t need no man”. And even though I have my crack ship with her and Erron, people are gonna have to pry my Jakeda from my cold, dead hands.

Aveline de Grandpré from Assassin’s Creed: Again I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. She’s such an underrated assassin despite being the first black female assassin ever! I love how her story actually fits with who she is as a character. I just wish that her game was longer because even though her entire plot is good, you can still feel some holes there and it would’ve been much more powerful if more things were added into her story. Plus, have you seen a lady beat the shit outta muggers and colonizers and slave owners in an 18th century dress??? And looking good in it??? Like Jacqui, she’s been treated poorly by the fans and the developers and people keep dis-crediting her because her game wasn’t on a huge main console. Plus she makes more sense as an assassin because of her disguises. What’s the use of being secretive if donning your assassin robes every time you go to out to kill somebody? Part of being secretive is blending in with the crowd and that’s the one thing that Aveline does with her outfits. I just love her and want more to be done with her. I’m trying to do more with my fanfics and fanarts despite my progress but I gotta start somewhere! And you should hear her OST. IT’S FUCKING FIRE.

Aqua from Kingdom Hearts: I looooove this girl! She’s super cute and actually fun to play with! She, along with Terra and Ven truly deserve better. After she lost Terra and Ven in their own ways, homegirl was left in the darkness for about eleven years. I’ll never forgive Mickey’s bitch ass for leaving her there and forgetting about her. Aqua bent over backwards to try to save her friends and her home from Master Xehanort and had to fight off illusions of happiness in the realm of darkness. I still haven’t finished KH3 yet, but I know that she reunites with Terra and they all have a happy ending. It’s what Aqua deserves after being manipulated by Master Xehanort and having to lose Master Eraqus, Terra, and Ven. These three were one of the three trios that technically didn’t get a happy ending and the villain won. So I’m all for Aqua getting the happiness she deserves. I really wanna cosplay her but I need to find blue hair that I’ll actually wear on a daily basis and not just for cosplaying for one day. I’d wear a wig but my scalp doesn’t agree with any wigs that I wear.

A: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

- Liquid Locket. I came up with this one by trying to mimic the spell Ice Shell, so i thought what is something that has to do with water and something that is like a shell or lock and them bam! Liquid Locket.

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

-No because I am incapable of being loved. Maybe the Kiribau fic: Dance Dance revolution since my mall did have an arcade and a dragon on a carousel.

C: What character do you identify with most?

-Probably Juvia because I have delt with depression and I have had people who have helped me through it.

D: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with [insert fic]?

- Can you feel the love tonight- Gruvia fic and Cant help falling in love with you- Nalu fic are both inspired by the said songs.

E: If you wrote a sequel to [insert fic], what would it be about?

- Not sure which fics would even have a squeal.

-My fav ones Ive written are probably this Nalu one and this Gruvia one.

THIS IS THE FIRST BULLETPOINT AU OF 2018!!! AND YES ITS AT THE END OF MARCH!!! FORGIVE ME CHILDREN!!!! i had SOOOO much fun writing this but maybe a bit too much bc i think i went overboard,,, but i cant help it that he needs so much love!!!

Part 1: Be There In Spirt

Seokmin was your go-to for anything and everything

Whether it was to find a movie buddy or seeking advice, he was always there

You first met him at some social event your friend dragged you to

“So you can talk to more people!” Your friend would respond when you asked why

You really didn’t care much, if at all, for parties unless someone you’re acquaintanced with was also there

Your friend was too occupied with other people, so you just grabbed some food and juice and settled yourself in the kitchen

Someone entered the door and you could hear the volume of his muffled voice even from the other side of the door before he entered

You were just chilling at the countertop with your back to him and munching on your tortilla chips with salsa that you didn’t care who entered

He noticed that you were the only one there and you were eating and occasionally sighing mood tho

As he was opening his soda, he asked you pointedly, “is the food good, at least?”

You were startled and slightly jumped at the sudden sound of someone’s voice

You turned around to be greeted with the goofiest yet brightest smile

Is it possible to see that bright of a smile or one at all when someone’s drinking? Bc he definitely made it work

You just finished swallowing your food and merely brushed your hands and shrugged, “it’s pretty bland like this party,” which earned a heart laugh from the boy

“You got dragged here, too?” You nodded and cracked a smile. “What, was the whole antisocial ‘take refuge in food’ act a dead giveaway?”

He smiled and lightly chuckled, “that, and how you were muttering about getting dragged here as you munched on your chips,” he gestured to your now empty plate

“Hey, correction — I said that I was brought here against my will”

“Like that’s such a big difference,” he says with a smile on his lips as he finishes up his soda

“And it’s not every day that I meet a cool, tortilla-chip-eating person at a social, but maybe I would let myself get dragged out more often”

You kinda stared back at him and slowly blinked bc like

Was that a hint of flirtation in his tone or were you just that self-centered?

Maybe best of both worlds

You raised an eyebrow at him, “you want to see a loner at the snack table?”

“It’s easier to approach you or anyone like this, isn’t it?” He flashes another one of his infamous pearly grins and reaches in your bowl to steal a chip and pops it in his mouth

You jokingly say, “Oh, you think we’re friends now?”

He laughs throatily and puts his hands up in defense

“I think we’re past the stage of bonding over stale chips and salsa at this point”

And you’re cut off shortly when his rowdy group of friends interrupts the friendly banter y’all had rip :(((

“I’ll see you around, Tostitos,” he throws in a wink and gives you a short wave as he backs away from the door and leaves you as quickly as he entered

You shake your head and look at the sad, crinkled bag of chips and salsa

“Did he just nickname me after a brand of this stale party food??????”

What an iconic first impression tbh bless

Ever since then he would have this weird nickname system of naming you after foods you would eat to make fun of you or just joke around

“Cheer up, cheese puff!” ok this actually sounds kinda cute and now I’m soft :’(((

“Be there or be square, you pretzel”

You: “that didn’t even make any sense”

“Don’t be salty” ba dum tss

“Can you help me out, (peanut) butter cup?”

“Whatever you say, nerd...s”

“Okay you’re not getting any of my other candy then, seok”

He’s the only one out of your friend group — actually just everyone in general — to yell directly into your ear as a greeting

He calls it “cute”………………….. ok seok

But it’s ok bc he gives out the best hugs

The best ones that crush your lungs and you can barely wheeze out a breath

Bonus: the chips and candy are also sometimes used to pelt at each other

It’s honestly more of a damn jungle when y’all are together it’s amazing LMAO

The type to crash at your place unannounced whenever he wants

You would open the door and he would just stroll in and look through your fridge like he’s lived there all his life

“WHY are you going through my fridge??? You need to go home, I have things to do today”

“Eh, we can just work alongside together—you’re running low on juice”

“Imma juice you boi if you don’t leAVE”

Your friend group most likely carries a pair of earplugs whenever you’re together

But underneath their rolling of eyes, they lowkey highkey ship the hell outta y’all

They even sometimes drop gigantic hints for you to get together but,,, things don’t exactly go their way

“Hey, Seokmin, my parents are having a barbecue this weekend. Maybe bring a plus one? Like uhhhhhh Y/N?” Real subtle

And he’d be like “what, Y/N??? Why would we need a plus one??? Aren’t we all going together anyways?”

The same thing happens on your end too smh

“My cousin is having a birthday party, you wanna come with? You can bring a date or whatever, probably Seokmin or something”

“Seok??? He would probably burn the place down HAHA but ya I guess I can bring him *shrug*”

And every time, both of you would ask: “but why (that other person)??? I can bring (insert another random member)”

GET A CLUE BABES!!! OH MY LORD

And they would just shake their head like sigh look at these naive kids

Mingyu: so are we just gonna let them be dumb like this orrrr????

Cheol: yeah let’s just leave them alone — nO THEY DON'T SEE HOW PERFECT THEY ARE TOGETHER WE GOTTA DO SOMETHING I’m with u on that one cheols

So this is the O Great Seungcheol’s plan: make each other jealous without knowing y’all would get jealous

A foolproof plan, amiright folks????

And what other cliche perfect way to do that than a WEDDING

it just so happens that Seokmin’s aunt is conveniently getting married and he’s inviting the whole crew

And the guys are like mwHAHAHA THIS IS PERFECT

Everyone’s talking about who’s bringing who as a date and things like that and you’re just chilling and scrolling on your phone

And everyone’s making eyes at each other without you knowing bc they’re like ok y’all time to initiate I Still Get Jealous Plan

“how about you, Y/N? who are you taking?”

And Seokmin subconsciously wants to know too bc he’s tuning in with the rest of them LOL

And you don’t even bother looking up at your screen bc that’s how indifferent you are to this whole thing

“I don’t really care, I guess anyone who doesn’t have a date or something”

Seokmin is about to open his mouth and ask you since that’s your usual thing

BUT SHOCKER!! SOMEONE BEATS HIM TO IT!!

“How about going with me? I don’t have anyone”

And you expected Seokmin to say those words, but you look up and see Jeonghan smile at you

THE LOOK OF B E TR A YA L ON SEOKS FACE DID THE TEMPERATURE JUST DROP BC IT IS C O L D IN HERE

Admittedly, you feel a little odd going with someone who’s your best friend and go-to for everything but hannie is your friend, so you don’t mind too much

So you’re like “o-oh sure that works”

And you steal a glance at seok but he has an unreadable expression and is smiling like usual

And for some reason you feel your chest drop just the slightest bit bc you thought he would at least fight for you a little bit and say something like

“heY HEY Y/N IS MY GO-TO FOR THESE THINGS”

But he doesn’t at all,,, and his lips looked a little strained when he smiled

and jeonghan is looking all slyly at seok bc he knows just a minute ago he could feel the back of his head being burned off by Seokmin’s glare

The convo picks up from where it previously left off and things are back to normal but the atmosphere is a little heavy

The day of the wedding comes and you’re about to finish dressing up

You’re waiting for half of them to pick you and meeting the other half at the venue

And ofc, in this half includes seok and jeonghan yikes

You hear your doorbell ring, and you’re like oh they’re here!! You say bye to your parents and put on your coat and shoes

When you open the door, you find yourself in front of Jeonghan and he’s like holy crAP

He’s awestruck and is looking at you like :OOOOO

“Jeonghan! Uhhh,,,, do I look weird???”

And he snaps out of it and is violently shaking his head like nO NO N O ofc not you look amazing

And you’re like heck yea I do I spent time looking this good :)))) (you don’t actually say this but it’s a thought)

and you get a funny feeling in your stomach and you realize you’re anticipating what Seokmin would think

If you got a good response from your “date,” surely your best friend would say smth good too??? Right??? That’s how this works???

Little did you know Seokmin (and everyone else) witnessed what happened and they’re like oMG Y/N LOOKS GOOD

Seokmin couldn't help but feel it should be him in Jeonghan’s shoes but he couldn’t refute the fact that you did indeed look like a million bucks

As you get in the car you lock eyes with him and you’re like hey Seokmin!!!

But you’re instantly b l o w n away by how CRISP HE LOOKS

His brown hair that’s usually sitting down and hides his forehead is now slicked back but in a way that still stands up and exposes more of his forehead and outlines his masculine face shape

His sharp suit perfectly fits on his toned body and you’re fully convinced you’re looking at an angel

YALL KNOW WHAT LOOK IM TALKING ABOUT. YOU KNOW.

You have to actually hold back a squeak bc you’re shook af

And he’s dying bc of how cute you are and wow are his palms sweaty???

You end up sitting in the middle of him and jeonghan and you’re just sitting happily and waiting to see what kinda food is at the wedding lmAO

but the real meal here is you eh??? Eh??? ;))))

Seokmin seems a little nervous and tense sitting next to you looking that good like he’s actually a little intimidated

You’re waiting for him to speak up and he’s clearing his throat and stammering a little bit

“Y-you look really nice, Y/N”

And you’re like ahahahhahhdgdhhhcjdbdhhd

“Thanks, seok, you clean up really nicely too”

And both of you can’t look each other in the eyes bc you’re gonna actually combust if you do

And everyone in the car is looking at each other like hehehhehehehh it’s workinggggg

When y’all finally arrive at the venue, you get out of the van with the help of Jeonghan’s hand

Seokmin: conceal don’t feel :))) channel your inner Elsa man :))))

And jeonghan is glancing back at Seokmin every so often to test him

And Seokmin is starting to catch on like ,,,, why is hannie always looking at me

He tests him even more when he casually holds your shoulder and drapes his arm around you

And Seokmin is like !!! ELSA WHERE ARE U

Jeonghan is being a little too touchy in seok’s eyes and Seok is silently fuming over the drinks

Soonyoung is like dude I can feel your dark energy all over my soup what’s up with you???

Seok is about to explode at this point and anything can set him off

“isn’t Jeonghan being just a little too touchy-feely with Y/N? That looks like borderline harassment. They’re not even dating!”

And soonyoung is silently laughing bc he’s like oh you fool lmao

“You sound a little too overprotective over your best friend. Well — if that’s really the reason why you are”

“Of course I’m just worried — dID YOU SEE THAT ARE THEY FEEDING EACH OTHER”

Soonyoung: u need help bro

“Steal a dance with her later” soonyoung says and seok is like uh what Im not gonna make a fool out of myself

All soonyoung does is shrug and winks and he goes back to eating

Soon enough the dancing portion begins and jeonghan takes you out to the dance floor

And it’s nice bc you’re just having pure fun and dancing goofy moves, not to mention Jeonghan is great company

But you’re a little disappointed you and seok weren’t able to talk and have fun the way y’all usually do

Jeonghan has sensed this the whole day and he says “I’ll be out of your hair soon enough”

You’re taken aback by his statement and you’re like “what no you were really fun to be around tonight!!”

And he laughs and ruffles your hair like “no need to cover it up. I knew this would provoke him” and you both look across the room where seokmin is standing alone, sipping on his drink as he pretends he wasn’t just looking at you dancing for the past ten minutes

The upbeat song transitions to a slower song and jeonghan pats you on the shoulder

“Here’s lover boy’s cue ;)))” and he bends down to your ear and whispers

“But I could stay here longer and mess around with him a little longer”

You push him away laughing and say “let’s not torture the poor guy any more than you already have”

Both of you are laughing and SURPRISE SEOKMIN APPEARS

and he claps his hand on hannie’s shoulder and says “May I?”

And jeonghan nods and looks between the both of you and is all ;)) have fun kiddos and winks at you right before he leaves

And now there were only 2

You didn’t realize you would be so nervous until your heartbeat nearly spiked up when he came into contact with you

DHHDHDJDJ SORRY IM FREAKING OUT WRITING THIS WOWIEURJ SCREAMS

It’s good I’m good we’re good this is good

His cheeks are tinted pink as he attempts but fails to make eye contact with you once again

He gently takes your hands and places them around his neck and then places his own around your waist

It’s only at this moment that you’re able to make proper eye contact for possibly the first time that entire day

You’re slowly moving to match the slow tempo and you can feel your face getting hotter in the heat of the moment

It stays intimate and silent for a few moments before the both of you try to break the silence

“Umm,,” “So,,,”

Androgen you laugh at how awkward you’re both getting

“This is probably the first time we’re not screaming for the whole area to hear”

He chuckles and nods slowly

“I think my breath is just taken away” he says so softly that the music could have drowned his voice out if it weren’t for the close proximity of you and him

and you’re like ??? By what??? Are you feeling ok??

“By you”

And you’re like bLUUUSSSSHHHing big time

“A-ah, stop it, I only tried to look a little more presentable today,,,,”

Jeonghan somewhere in the distance: that’s not what you told me this morning!!
