"somebody's going to emergency, somebody's going to jail" is one of the best west wing episodes - the focus on taking things for granted and learning they were false (sam's dad's fidelity, gault's innocence, the maps, and having time to make a difference as president), the chaos twins classic moments (cant stop laughing at josh glancing at cj when the cartographers say that size is perceived as power then leaving to find toby), the little hints about bartlet being almost ready to discuss the MS (thus removing another thing that the senior staff took for granted- his health and that he wasn't lying). gah! so good. toby's story line is also very fun, and a good brief look at activism culture back then (but also please tell me about his sisters who took him to protests in '68??)

So I'm on a rewatch and I think I have a new favorite episode. I didn't really love it the first time around but it's just so precious and rich watching it again.

S11 E4 "Baby"

It's such a beautiful glimpse into the little moments that we often miss on a busy show like this. It was about the characters, not the hunt, and it was beautiful.

Pickle Rick is actually a great Rick and Morty episode with great quotes, but it’s basically just become rick shouting “IM PICKLE RIIIICK”

Okay but "Face My Enemy" is Such a Cool Episode

I mean, WE SEE THE SAME FACE CLOAKING THING AS WHAT NAT USED IN CATWS. And there's so many jokes, and Philinda feels and Academy backstory, and May vs May fighting, and Jemmaginary, and TALBOT, and Kara, and ugh. Just so much great stuff.
