I think this is THE most underrated scene in the whole series.#You have one guy flashing WWX his prosthetic leg. Another complains about his dead parents.#And the third guy? He has no personal grievances at all. He's just here to be included.#You cannot get better comedic timing than that. Sect leader Yao you will always be famous to me.#There is also something to be said about how this scene is about shifting blame and holding a false trial.#And we also have the main theme about rumours vs truth in how Sect leader Yao is only here based on what he's been told to beleive.#And WWX is so exhausted by the blame! He was one breath away from saying 'form a queue and I'll take your complaints one by one'#WWX (overall) didn't do those things directly but he's the one the responsibility falls on.#Despite the fact that the first siege was *not* incited by him. It's like hitting someone and getting mad your fist got hurt.#What a brilliantly frustrating scene!#Anyways next up are the long awaited pheonix mountain flashabck scenes. We finally made it.#and AHH Season 3!!! The last stretch! Thank you all for rooting me on up until this point!

tony beckley was actually a queer man, too! he made such a great villain in seeds of doom. i also loved him in when a stranger calls (which was his final role before his death in 1979).

this series has everything. discount british andy robinson plays a millionaire plant-obsessed queer-coded villain who wants to obtain an alien pod found in the antarctic to... grow it??? i guess??? but uh oh, the pod is super dangerous and eats a dude and HE becomes a big plant, and then the flunkies of the rich guy steal a second pod and blow everything up, and now we're back in england with the doctor being shoved into a fucking giant composter, lying on his back in the middle of a pile of vegetable waste, and it starts to go and it's gonna chew him up but sarah-jane runs in! and so the doctor's yelling 'PUSH THE BUTTON' so sarah-jane pushes the button and the composter goes faster and the doctor yells 'NOT THAT BUTTON!!'

also there is a nosy old biddy artist who is actually working with the World Plant Trade Union or something who are i guess badasses? because the one guy has a gun and acts real cool? gets eaten tho because Comeuppance

and there's at least one more episode to go

The silly stupid alien show about ghosts that steal your cock and balls just pulled the most gut wrenching, poignant shit possible and portrayed it so artistically and meaningfully what is even life.

This was MASTERFULLY done. The visual and environmental storytelling, the subtle foreshadowing, and inject those motifs into my fucking BLOOD.
