does body piercer matty also do tattoos? cause now I can’t stop thinking about him tattooing girly

I could see him dabbling in tattoos! I think he’d be a bit of an amateur, his main gig is piercing, but he’s learning how to tattoo on the side. For a while, he’s like “No absolutely not” when girlie asks him to tattoo her because he wants to make sure he’s good enough to not fuck it up

Eventually, when he’s gotten steadier and more practiced, he brings it up again, asking her what she’d want. He spends a few days drawing out endless sketches for her, page after page of variations of the same design because he needs to get this right. It’s for his girl, after all. Also, he’s found that getting stoned and sketching tattoo designs is very therapeutic for him

He’s kind of giddy about it leading up to the appointment, smiling to himself when he catches a glimpse of her name in the scheduling book, getting major deja vu from the day they met. His coworkers tease him when he’s anxiously going around in circles while sitting at the spinny chair at the front desk, waiting for her

It’s super comfortable when he gets her in the chair. He cracks a joke about her needing to sign something agreeing not to be upset if it’s bad, but they both know he would never let it turn out badly. Lots of banter and their normal chit-chat while he’s tattooing her, but at one point he interrupts her like:

“Shh, shh. Wait. I need to lock in for a second.”

“What? What are you—“

“Shhhh…”

Because he’s inking an important detail on the tattoo.

He checks at points throughout, being very sweet and making sure she’s okay, unable to resist throwing in some “you’re doing so good, baby” and “taking it so well, love” which just makes her a little dizzy, getting flashbacks to him saying very similar things in the bedroom.

If the pain were to become too much at any time, he’d stop, putting his tools down to gently kiss her face and let her have a breather. He’d take his gloves off to hold her hand, squeezing it comfortingly, waiting for her to be ready to keep going.

When it’s done, he does his little whistle of appreciation, admiring his work on her, already looking forward to kissing it and rubbing over it with his fingers once it’s healed. Of course… he’s even more cocky now that he’s got not one, but two permanent marks on her
